Today's Encouragement (21 November 2022)

Greetings to all my sisters!

Here's a new day for us to overcome in the Lord! No matter where you are through your day...we just have to strive to be faithful each minute don't we...which add up to hours and days then months then years then decades then a lifetime! Keep being faithful in little, sisters (our minutes)!

And if you have a mountain of dishes to face...just do one at a time, or a lot of sewing to do...do one stitch at a time! We do need patience in this life in many areas don't we sisters!

I share this awesome scripture I was reading this morning from 1 Thessalonians 2...

So much in there about the diligence in working worthy we are to have. And we see those who were a good example in that too.

I had a sewing order on my shop this morning (of 6 ready-made headcoverings) and for some reason I couldn't find one so I had to quickly sew one (as I had to leave early too) and was really thankful I had exactly the right amount of fabric scrap left in the right colour! Praise God!

This was the view from the service station (or gas station whatever you call it where you are). But I thought it's a bit foolish how people build right on and hanging over cliffs.

I thought maybe it's partly because they believe this earth has been around for millions of years largely unchanged. But we know it hasn't and we know cliffs can collapse! Anyway it's a pretty view of the river for sure! Let's just glorify the Lord for that and let the world do what it does.

I was travelling to go look after the children again.

It was a very windy day with some rain showers and some ominous looking clouds at times...

Precious little 4-month-old to look after...

There were also these flowers in my room my 3 year old niece had picked for me...

Sweet and innocent are the little ones:-)

And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.
But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
Matthew 18:3-6

I love that scripture. And it also has a great warning doesn't it.

Thank you sisters for these...

And we sisters treasure His Word!

What a powerful almighty God we serve and will have to answer to one day!

I also share this awesome scripture with my sisters...

The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.
The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.
The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.
More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.
Psalm 19:7-11

I love all of that and I'm sure you do too!

Today's Encouragement (20 November 2022)

Greetings sisters!

I come here to share some encouragement for you in the joy of the Lord! He is our everything right sisters?! Our focus is set on Him and while we have to deal with this present world we have a mind set on eternity!

Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee.
Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.
Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil.
Proverbs 4:25-27

For the Lord God will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.
Isaiah 50:7

Those scriptures are good to encourage us to do so!

And we sisters know what duties the Lord has for us and we labour in those. Being chaste, and meek, and keepers at home, and helpers, and servants, and covered and unadorned in our dress, and submissive, and kind, and good, and loving, and prepared with the gospel, and so much more. Aren't you glad to know our place in His creation? We know what happens when women are outside of that...and it isn't good at all. God's ways are good!

I shared this with a sister...

When he therefore was come up again, and had broken bread, and eaten, and talked a long while, even till break of day, so he departed.
Acts 20:11

And thinking about how devoted they were to the Lord, fellowshipping all night! And today we're blessed to have the internet to keep in touch with saints and share much in the Lord. And there may be a few saints together here and there on this earth but one day we shall all be gathered home with the multitude of His saints! But it is such a joyous and precious thing when there can be unity and that one mind all in the right place in the Spirit. Apart from those few, we are strangers and pilgrims and feel like that too don't we! We don't fit in and it's foreign to us what the world around us is doing and living for. So empty and vain and sinful...but we are set on that which is eternally lasting and satisfying.

I've had a simple day of holding fast and enduring in the Lord and bits and pieces and garden work. I have travel again tomorrow...but Lord willing I shall be back here afterwards. I do look forward to hearing from the saints from afar!

Today's Encouragement (19 November 2022)

Greetings godly sisters!

Let's remember His mercies are new every day! Aren't we so blessed and thankful for the mercy of God?! We'd all have no hope without it! He is good! Let's rejoice in His hope, and forgiveness, and grace and mercy and love!

I was reading this...

Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours;
1 Corinthians 3:21

After it had talked about the division going on there and we know how we still see it today so much with all the denominations plus a heap more false ways and sins. But we simply want to follow after Christ don't we!

He must increase, but I must decrease.
John 3:30

We just want to be simple humble godly women going about our business unto God don't we! As we know, we're just doing what we ought to be in all we do in this life of obeying God!

Well that's my simple encouragement for your day. Sometimes I have more and sometimes less but my love for you and the Lord is the same!

I'd serve you this if I could...

Good blessings He provided again on this day. We know we aren't to worry about tomorrow for food and raiment and such things.

I hope all is well in your life in Christ! Praise be to the Lord for all He has done for us! Hold fast my beloved sisters!

Today's Encouragement (18 November 2022)

Hello sisters!

And greetings in love and truth to you all!

☺😊☺😊☺😊

This is a new day we have been given to live for Him! And we want to take that responsibility well and use it for God's glory don't we! And I know sometimes we can think life is going along pretty well and how will we react when a new situation comes in front of us we haven't faced before. I do at least but I just have to have that ready mind to always think in the Spirit and not the flesh etc. And the Lord will help us make wise decisions too. And sometimes we can just be quiet for awhile and ponder and pray about a situation. But ones that come fast upon us...well we do the best we can and I'm sure we'll learn what we should! God knows our hearts and motives.

I hope all my sisters are going along well and striving on! I'm sure you're occupied in many good Titus 2 duties. I know I hear from several of you who are! And we know God has His saints all over the world shining where He has them! We are not alone few though we may be. One day there shall be a great harvest and seperation and we, His wheat, shall be gathered with the Lord! How awesome and precious!

Here's some scriptures a sister shared...

And we were also talking about the fact that there are many aspects of His Word to look at. For example one time we may look at that scripture and focus on the peace that passes understanding. And another time focus on the fact of it keeping our hearts and minds in Christ. So much depth to dig into in His Word. It truly is a treasure hunt and as another sister said...it can seem doubly precious seeing His Word of truth for what it really says and not twisted by man.

And I share this scripture to encourage my sisters to trust in Him!

Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
Hebrews 13:5-6

Amen sisters...let us do that boldly and without shame! What a precious thing to be a partaker with Him! He did so much for us!

Well I guess that's it. I've had a simple day of animal and garden work and other bits and pieces and fellowship with sisters. I'm blessed to have some godly sisters in my life who love the Lord as I do and strive to obey Him and walk in all truth!

Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised.
Proverbs 31:30

Amen! And I praise you godly sisters who fear the Lord!

Hold fast...until He comes or we go to be with Him!

Today's Encouragement (17 November 2022)

Greetings sisters!

How are you on this day? I hope you're standing strong and striving on in the faith!

I wanted to encourage a sister I know who's going through some trials so I made us all an audio here to encourage us all. I read some notes and scriptures from an older blog post I had done (which you can find that here if you prefer to read.)

Hope that edifies you and reminds you of some things that encourage you to keep striving on faithfully!

And a sister shared this scripture...

All the trials grow us don't they sisters! I'm sure we'd be weak if all was easy.

Pictures of what some of my day was...'trying' to keep the cows in where they ought to be - fence issues.

Delicious foods the Lord provided for me to cook...

And I'm sure my fellow Titus 2 sisters are occupied in many good duties the Lord has for you.

And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;
1 Thessalonians 4:11

Hold fast sister saints! And if the Lord grants me another day...I'll be back here!

Today's Encouragement (16 November 2022)

Hello sisters!

A new day is here! One more day to choose to love and serve our great God and Saviour and not serve ourselves or sin!

But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
Hebrews 5:14

Let's keep using our senses to discern good and evil!

Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
1 Thessalonians 5:21

And after having discerned and proven...hold to that which is good and not the evil!

Finally finished the shirts I had been working on for awhile...

Satisfying getting things done!

Wanted to share some pretty flowers I get to see...

I know the video won't show it very well at all but glory to God either way.

And a funny bird perched up there watching over me in the garden...

I find this baby bean quite cute...

Carrot blessings...even though there's some hard to use shapes in there lol.

Almost the last of the snow peas for the season...

I love seeing peas in a pod!

Awesome creations the Lord made for food for mankind! He didn't just give us one type of food to eat...but hundreds and thousands of them! He is a great God...may we give Him glory like the one leper out of the ten...

And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine? There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.
Luke 17:17-18

Hold fast sisters and keep standing strong on the truth and not wavering! Hope your good Titus 2 works go well!

Today's Encouragement (15 November 2022)

Hello sister saints!

I come back here to share some simple edification for my sisters. Some of you I may know and be in daily communication with...so this is extra edifying and also it's here for any of you others out there who may be looking in. Hopefully every reader is seeking the Lord and His kingdom whole heartedly!

I share this scripture...

Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;
As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:
But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
1 Peter 1:13-16

I read it this morning and was thinking about how we know better now...and aren't in our former ignorance. We know that Christmas and Easter and birthdays are of the world and are pagan. We are not ignorant of that so we don't do them anymore. We are not ignorant that God desires us women to have a meek and quiet spirit and to be submissive and keepers at home and such. And so many things the Lord has shown us truth...and we be faithful to what we know. Glad we have His Word!

And I share some good food, the Lord provided, with my sisters!

Pumpkin, cauliflower, and lentil soup and a fried egg on toast with sauce. Yummy simple and healthy blessings to sustain us for the work we do in the Lord!

I appreciate pondering this concept...the depths of how we treat the brethren and doing it to the Lord.

But when ye sin so against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ.
1 Corinthians 8:12

And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
Matthew 25:40

So much to ponder in His Word and dig into the depths of it all. So thankful we have it.

Well that's it from me but Lord willing we shall get another day. But if not maybe the Lord took one of His saints home to be with Him! Hold fast and be ready sisters as I am striving to be here too!

Today's Encouragement (14 November 2022)

Greetings sisters!

A new day in the Lord is here!

I share my morning hot chocolate with a reminder that 'the joy of the Lord is our strength'!

(hot chocolate made of raw cacao powder, stevia, water, and milk...good healthy blessings:-)

Judge me, O Lord; for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in the Lord; therefore I shall not slide.

Examine me, O Lord, and prove me; try my reins and my heart.

For thy lovingkindness is before mine eyes: and I have walked in thy truth.

Psalm 26:1-3

His loving-kindness is great! What a blessing we get to serve such a great and holy God!

Nice cold day for working in the garden...

Good to see the veggies growing bigger! Harvest coming if all goes well!

More sewing work too...

Nice to have that to do in between all the other work that needs to be done.

I took the lamb with on a walk after I fed it and it made me laugh how close it was staying to me...

Of course it made me think of how we should stay so close to our Saviour...our Shepherd!

For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.
1 Peter 2:25

Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,

Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Hebrews 13:20-21

Thank you sister for sharing this scripture...

Reminds me of scriptures such as this...

And when he would not be persuaded, we ceased, saying, The will of the Lord be done.
Acts 21:14

And we sisters too want to be submitted to the Lord's will. And that may not be what our flesh wants at all! But we love our Lord and know He knows best and all things work for good for those who love Him. Let's keep trusting Him like the holy women of old!

But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.
For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands:
1 Peter 3:4-5

Sunset view out my window as I work on this post...

It means my day is almost done! And the sun is coming over to you sisters on the other side of the world! And you'll be working diligently in your day I know! All around the world the saints are labouring for their Saviour until He comes! Hold fast sisters and keep fighting the good fight of faith! Lord willing I'll be back tomorrow and have the sun with light to work while you rest up! And the cycle continues...until the Lord is all the light we need one day in the new heaven and earth!

Today's Encouragement (13 November 2022)

Greetings sisters!

How are each of my sisters this day?! What a blessing to be part of Christ's family...all obeying our Father!

For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.
Matthew 12:50

It's awesome how His body works in that it's like a family! It's not like a business or organization as we see in the churches today. And that's out to get people's money and run on a strict schedule. No we know it's not to be like that!

And we see what Paul wrote to Timothy here too...

Rebuke not an elder, but intreat him as a father; and the younger men as brethren; The elder women as mothers; the younger as sisters, with all purity.
1 Timothy 5:1-2

That's awesome. And this too...

For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
Ephesians 3:14-15

We love the Lord's light don't we sisters!

O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of the Lord.
Isaiah 2:5

But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.
Proverbs 4:18

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
1 John 1:7

For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:
Ephesians 5:8

How awesome to not be in darkness anymore but have the light of life!

It was a pretty day today...

Beautiful creations...glory to the Creator!

Had to go on some extra walking and driving in the area looking for an escaped cow.

Thankfully she headed straight for home to feed her calf...

I could hardly keep up lol.

Saw this cute little bird nest too...

So amazing how they can make such a neat nest! God put that ability in them!

So that was some of my day and been doing other animal work and some sewing too! And communicating with sisters and sharing here too!

Today's Encouragement (12 November 2022)

Hello sisters!

I'm back again and hope you are too and it means we're striving on in the Lord this day!

Sharing some things from my day and some scriptures to encourage you.

Stormy, wild, and wet day here today...

(you can hear a really close lightning strike on there)

God understandeth the way thereof, and he knoweth the place thereof.

For he looketh to the ends of the earth, and seeth under the whole heaven;

To make the weight for the winds; and he weigheth the waters by measure.

When he made a decree for the rain, and a way for the lightning of the thunder:

Then did he see it, and declare it; he prepared it, yea, and searched it out.

And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.
Job 28:23-28

More peaceful in the calm after the storm...

I love how the raindrops send out those ripples. Intriguing to watch.

And the pretty sunset...

Glory to God for it all!

Got some sewing done in between the electricity flashing on and off in the storm...

Just some simple Titus 2 things in my day. There can be many different bits and pieces of that as I'm sure you all know!

Made a bit of cauliflower pickles...

Been blessed with many cauliflowers and I'm trying to use them the best I can!

Thankful for egg blessings too...

I was also working on ordering some new gospel cards. So I don't run out but keep being ready for whenever I have those opportunities to give them out...like with sewing orders or when I get to travel or go into town on errands etc.

Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.

Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.

Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.
Isaiah 55:1-3

Glad we can have the precious eternal truth in the Lord that no money on earth can buy!
