Daughters for His Glory

Today's Encouragement (31 May 2023)

Greetings sister soldiers!

Hope you're all standing in the Lord!

But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.
And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.
1 Peter 4:7-8

I love that.

Thankful to send the gospel out with an order...

We want to be faithful in little don't we too knowing we can't reach every soul in the world. God is greater than us and this is His world and He is in control. Each soul is valuable so we can't lose sight of that while we're looking at everyone we can't reach with the gospel.

Praise God for good foods He grows from the ground!

Walking in truth...yes we want to keep doing that!

I love that truth. Good test to see who loves the Lord or not.

Yes may all we do be to God glory! And we strive to walk worthy of Him.

Our Lord is coming back!

And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
Luke 21:27-28

Let's keep watching and be prepared! Hold fast sisters! I hope all your days are joyous no matter what and we are told to rejoice in trials and persecutions too. And Paul said he took pleasure in infirmities. We have the hope of a better life to come, as this sin-laden world is not our home. Let's keep striving on sister soldiers!

Today's Encouragement (30 May 2023)

Greetings sisters!

Coming back to share some edification with you today. Hope all is well with you.

Nothing worth losing our soul over is there...

For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
Mark 8:36

And we know we need to be very diligent with all our actions and we don't want to 'lack one thing' or be holding onto anything before God. We know our soul would be in danger if we were. And the Lord can help us see what we need to change. And sometimes I think how far the culture/world is from God in their wickedness and so we all will be drastically different and have so far to return when we repent...some more than others but we all still aim for God's high and holy ways and forsake all sin that we know of.

And when he would not be persuaded, we ceased, saying, The will of the Lord be done.
Acts 21:14

Yeah that's what we should do isn't it especially in trying circumstances where we don't know what's going on...just submit to Him and put ourselves in His hands.

We can think of Esther saying..."if I perish, I perish".

Go, gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also and my maidens will fast likewise; and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the law: and if I perish, I perish.
Esther 4:16

Or what Job said..."let come on me what will"

Hold your peace, let me alone, that I may speak, and let come on me what will.

Wherefore do I take my flesh in my teeth, and put my life in mine hand?

Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.
Job 13:13-15

Or what our Saviour said...

And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.
Matthew 26:39

Or this too...

Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O Lord God of truth.
Psalm 31:5

Yeah there's something freeing about doing all that...yet it may be the hardest thing to do still what His will may be for us. But we know there is great joy ahead...if we overcome and we plan to don't we sisters...to the very end! And that starts with being faithful in little every single day. We don't want to get near starting to compromise for anything do we. We must hold fast to the truth...and it remains the truth even if people think we need to be relavant to the culture and change the Word today. We must not and we have no authority to do so.

In the Lord, all things work for good if we love Him. And we know this faith life is not one of ease. But He is so worthy and it will be so worth it all! Strive on sisters, no matter what!

Always things to see all over as a witness to our Creator!

I got more garden work done today and more sewing and housework. Glad to have the strength to do it all! I'm thankful.

Today's Encouragement (29 May 2023)

Greetings sisters!

Here we are back again. God gave us another day. I know you're back too if you're reading this:-) I hope you are striving on in the Lord!

Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
Hebrews 10:23-24

Amen let us do all that sisters.

Nice day for weeding in the garden here...

Peaceful good works to keep occupied in. And awesome creations of good foods growing!

Worked on my sewing project too...

I love having good works to do. I'm sure you sisters do too!

Next scripture reading to edify you...

I love what Paul was saying to the elders of Ephesus in there and warning them of deception to come. Yeah and how much more so is that deception today...it's just gotten worse and worse. Hold fast to sound doctrine sisters. We need to be very diligent about this all.

Thank you sister(s) for sharing these. I appreciate my sisters who are givers (as it says in that scripture I read how it's more blessed to give than to receive).

Today's Encouragement (28 May 2023)

Greetings sister saints!

I hope this finds you being good soldiers for the Lord fighting all the spiritual battles with all your armour on! God is good to give us what we need to overcome! And He is greater than all the enemies!

I love this scripture...

Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
John 15:2

That's awesome thinking of Him caring to do that to us so we bear more fruit. And this will therefore bring more glory to Him as we know lots of good fruit glorifies Him! And we want to let Him do that to us and we know we may need to be refined through 'fires'. But it will all work for good!

It reminded me of this one too...

But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
Hebrews 5:14

And thinking how it's a journey of growth and development as we don't want to just sit around and not be learning what we should. We are putting our senses to use...discerning good from evil. We don't want to have it flipped around like this...

Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
Isaiah 5:20

It's absolutely what is happening in the world and in the churches out there. But one day the Lord will judge it all according to His unchanging truth!

Simple satisfying Titus 2 job...

...just sewing on a button. I haven't really done any sewing in a long time! I was thinking about a sewing project today that may work...but we shall see. And I'll share if I do that.

Isn't the underside of a mushroom amazing...

So delicate. Our Father made huge things and also down to the finest detail that our eyes can't even see. Glory to Him!

Awesome shiny food blessings from the garden...

Picking them is like finding treasures:-) But only sort of as our true treasures are in heaven of course!

That's like I was sharing at the beginning about bearing fruit...amen! Yeah we are called to walk worthy of Him. That's a high calling but He is so worthy of us striving to do that and He helps us! We are to be His witnesses and really like a representative of His ways as we walk in them. Let us strive not to bring reproach on His holy name.

Yes true godly love does that. Let's rejoice in the truth sisters and reprove and flee from iniquity.

Well I guess that's all I have. May His Word and anything else I share encourage you on somehow! God sees all us sisters scattered around the world shining His light through being obedient to Him.

Today's Encouragement (27 May 2023)

Hello sister saints!

Aren't those flowers a sister shared so beautiful! They are a witness to the great Creator! And we're so blessed to know Him!

I hope you're all standing strong and bearing much fruit sort of like that flowing tree as I'm sure it's producing some kind of fruit with seeds in...just not the ones we like to eat:-)

(Thank you sister for that scripture picture.) He is the King! Let us honour and reverence Him.

Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.

Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.
Psalm 24:7-10

I was thinking...that's not something we tend to think much about, God being our King. Well at least me but there's a lot His Word about it and we know He has a kingdom and we're His servants and we know the Lord our Saviour is King of kings!!

These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
Revelation 17:14

That's awesome! There's so much depth in His Word 📖 and much to dig into and ponder on 🤔...or act to obey.

Saw this snail on the car window in the damp morning. Thought it looked pretty.

So many unique creations He made and we hardly know about any of them! Glory to Him!

I had travel today. It was a beautiful autumn day.

(No I wasn't driving on the windy road when I took that picture:-) I had to stop to take it cuz it looked so beautiful all through that area.)

Even though there's so much wickedness in this world there's much beauty in His creation. It's refreshing. One day all things will be made new and all will be good!

And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
Revelation 21:5

Hold fast sisters, until He come! Lord willing I shall be back to share more edifying tomorrow!

Today's Encouragement (26 May 2023)

Greetings sisters!

I'm back again and so are you! God gave us this day. I hope yours is going well and filled with all good works!

Here's the next scripture reading to edify you...

Praise God to hear of His Word and gospel going out!

My day has been quite busy in Titus 2 works. I'm sure my sisters have been too...at least the best you can.

The Lord keeps providing daily bread.

And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.
And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.
Luke 15:20-21

I love thinking about that and how it is with us. It says 'he arose'. That's what we do isn't it when we repent and go towards God instead of hiding in the darkness and trying to hide from Him. Amen we don't feel worthy either do we and we see the Father's great love for those who turn to Him. It's all very precious and our God is too good to us but we're so thankful.

We know the Lord spoke much of seeing and hearing. People may physically but not spiritually. We want to have both don't we. Great blessings they are and most of all the spiritual eyes and ears to see and hear!

That is such a great blessing too and precious gift! What a joy to not be a lost sheep but found!

What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?
Luke 15:4

Well that's it from me but I hope you keep pressing forward and overcoming and not growing weary in well doing! I think of my sisters often. But I know there's some out there I don't know about. God watches over us all!

Today's Encouragement (25 May 2023)

Greetings sisters!

Hope you're standing fast in the faith! It's so precious this treasure of truth that we have and we want to work at it and keep striving in it don't we.

Thank you sisters for sharing the flower creations and I added the scriptures. Glory to God for it all!

I love thinking about that. And I know the joy too when a sinner truly repents. It is a joyous thing indeed! Glory to God for His goodness which leads us to repentance!

Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?
Romans 2:4

He alone is worthy! One day He alone will be glorified when people stop stealing His glory!

What a great God we have who is the one true and living God who we all must give account to one day. Let us fear Him!

Daily bread which is a great blessing and along with clothing we are to be content to have! How much more do we have than those two things?!

Praise God for His Word going out and people responding in repentance to believe in Him to eternal life!

Rest...that's such a precious thing.

God tells us who are truly blessed! And it's definitely not who the world calls blessed (or they may use the word lucky 🙄). That would be whoever owns a big house and land and has a very high education and has a high position and speaks well and is highly esteemed in the world and such like.

But we love God's TRUTH that tells us who are truly blessed. It would be a good study.

Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.
Luke 6:22

Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

Matthew 5:6

I've been thinking off and on or remembering how that everything is God's...we don't own anything or nothing is ours to keep. And even if that is people in our lives whether they be believers or unbelievers, they are God's. That helps especially if they may get taken away from us. We may want to hold onto them but God can take them. It's His world and creation after all! I can also think of Abraham willing to obey God to give up His special son of promise, Isaac, on the altar. And while God allowed him to keep him after he proved his heart we may not get things back. And we have to be good with that as God is good and we still have Him if we cling close to Him and not wander away from Him. He is all we need! And yes everything we have today is an extra blessing...even the sisters I know and fervently love and communicate with daily...are God's. Let us be thankful for what we have and thankful if we don't have things too. That is humility...not desiring our own way but submitted to His. We don't want to question God either do we. Job was a great example too!

God knows everything that's going on in our lives and we just want to be faithful to Him, passing each test and trial!

Well I think that's all from me. Sometimes it strikes you deep how very serious this life is...when you ponder the reality of eternity separated from Christ in destruction. For so many, that will be their reality and they don't seem to care. So few take this seriously and for real. But we have true faith in the Lord and all He has told us and strive to work out our salvation with fear and trembling. Keep striving sisters!

Today's Encouragement (24 May 2023)

Greetings sisters!

Hope your faith is strong today! Let's not grow weary in doing good and enduring all the things of this foreign land we live in!

Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
1 Peter 2:11

Yeah it's a spiritual battle too.

I read this scripture this morning and thought about it and it's good to think about whether we are doing all we can to do good to others.

Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it.
Proverbs 3:27

Reminds me of this one too...

As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
Galatians 6:10

And this one...

Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
Romans 13:8

So as one of those ways to do good, I'm back here because I can and sharing some edifying for my sisters who love the Lord. There are many ways we can do good to others. And there may be ways we would like to do more good but can't so we just need to be faithful in what we have and God knows our hearts and what we would do if we could! And we also know love is actions not just words (or feelings) both to God and to others.

And we know we are to do good to our enemies too. And that's not always what our flesh wants to do is it, but God's ways are great and we know in our spirit that they are and we want to do what is pleasing to Him!

I hope all your Titus 2 works are going well sisters. I'm sure you have a lot of that always and it can be such simple things and much the same every day. But we learn to sort out any thoughts we may have about them and do them unto the Lord willing to be lowly and just to be seen by Him!

I'd serve extra plates for you if I could...

I know my sisters work hard to earn their food and aren't lazy!

For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.
2 Thessalonians 3:10

Little 10 month old is refreshing in my day...

Lots of smiles and cute things he does! The little ones are so innocent in a dark world.

He is coming back sisters...in power and great glory! And He will reward all according to their works. We want ours to be good works and our reward eternity with Him!

Keep striving on sister soldiers! Our Saviour is so so worthy!
