Today's Encouragement (30 October 2023)

Greetings sisters!

Are you holding fast to the Lord today?

Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;

Romans 12:12

I love that...rejoicing in hope! How can we not rejoice and be glad in the Lord for His goodness and the blessed hope we have through Christ of an eternal home to come!

Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

Romans 15:13

Busy day of sewing here...

And a refreshing walk in God's creation of fresh air and snow and plants and more...

And good food blessings to keep us going serving Him in good works...

I hope all my sisters are also grateful for your many blessings!

Let us be thankful and content in whatever life the Lord has given us! We want to be focused on Him and not on our circumstances. Let us see what great blessings we have in this faith life!

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

Ephesians 1:3-4

 Keep striving on sisters!

Love to you all in Christ,

Sister Chayil

Today's Encouragement (29 October 2023)

Greetings godly sisters!

Here's a new day the Lord gave us! I hope you're all striving on sisters! We are blessed to be able to share edification online these days! Let us strive to redeem the time as best we can with what the Lord has given to us.

Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

Ephesians 5:16-17

He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.

Luke 16:10

Let's be faithful sisters in all we ought to.

His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

Matthew 25:21

Pretty sunny day for a walk...

He giveth snow like wool: he scattereth the hoarfrost like ashes. He casteth forth his ice like morsels: who can stand before his cold?
Psalm 147:16-17

A lot of sewing going on in these days...

Thankful for good things to keep occupied in!

And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;

1 Thessalonians 4:11

Let's keep busy in good physical works sisters but also be like Mary (vs Martha) and not get encumbered by such things to the neglecting of the Word and ministry of the gospel and our own faith life etc.

Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.

1 Timothy 4:16

Hold fast sisters! Keep marching on as good soldiers!

Love in Christ,

Sister Chayil

Today's Encouragement (28 October 2023)

Hello sisters!

I hope you are holding fast today!

I'm sure you're keeping occupied in many good godly woman works...whether that be Titus 2 type things or in gospel ministry or whatever the Lord has for you.

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Ephesians 2:10

Let us each be responsible for our own walks following after the Lord...

Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do? Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me.

John 21:21-22

We must each stand before the Lord individually...

Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

2 Corinthians 5:9-10

Let us be found in Christ on that great day, having been fruitful in good works!

But we can also help encourage other saints on too! And in preaching the gospel to the lost we are also His tools to help others find eternal life! So we have much to do...making sure we ourselves are striving on and edifying saints and giving the gospel to the lost!

But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

1 Corinthians 9:27

Titus 2 of the day...

Good blessings. (pumpkin cookies)

And more snow creations...

I guess it's just still rather new to me having never lived where there's snow:-) (If you have, you can skip the video if you like lol. But it's still pretty!)

(Thank you sister for that picture:-)

Let's not grow weary in well doing amen sisters?! Keep pressing on! One more day is behind us!

Today's Encouragement (27 October 2023)

Greetings sisters!

I hope you are holding fast in the faith! This life is so short compared to eternity and we have been called to our duty of obeying our Lord!

So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.

Luke 17:10

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

Romans 12:1

All our obedience is just our duty and reasonable service amen sisters. If we don't obey we are not doing what we ought as His servants and will be cast away as slothful servants if we don't repent and get obeying. But He is a good Master and our Father and Saviour to obey and honour! Who wouldn't want to serve Him amen sisters?! He is our only hope!

I sometimes think about Abraham being willing to offer up Isaac...

And the angel of the Lord called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I.

And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me.

And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son.

Genesis 22:11-13

It's an amazing account with many lessons to be pondered on and learned and encouraged by. We too may be required to give up everything for Christ's sake...and He sure is worthy of it! We must love God above all else. We see the fruit of Abraham's faith also shown in his works of obedience to God. And this must have been such a hard thing to do. So we also must be willing to give up all for Him. And even if we don't get things back...like Abraham or Job did, we have the reward at the end...of eternal life with the Lord versus torment in eternal fires of destruction. Let us remember that sisters and not hold onto anything that the Lord wants to take out of our life no matter how good it might be. We gladly give up the bad and sinful things but we still surrender our will to His and walk the path He has for us not looking at or longing for what we don't have...even if it is good and godly. Ultimately He is who we desire amen sisters?

Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee. My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.

Psalm 73:25-26

Let us keep walking along by faith after Him sisters!

Beautiful sunny day...

And I went for a walk to the post office. Some gospel cards went out also. We have such precious truth to share that can change someone's eternal destiny if they heed it and repent.

The little creatures cannot hide their tracks.

Reminded me of this scripture...

But if ye will not do so, behold, ye have sinned against the Lord: and be sure your sin will find you out.

Numbers 32:23

No one can hide their sin from God either.

(Thank you sister for sharing that scripture picture:-) Let's bring forth a lot of good fruits!

Hold fast sisters! And if any of you that read are not fully set on the Lord having surrendered all and parted ways with the sinful world (including false 'Christian' religions)...I pray you repent as we know that even the righteous will scarcely be saved. Lukewarm and lazy ways will not make it on judgement day and I want better for you and so does God who is not willing that any should perish.

Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Luke 21:36

Today's Encouragement (26 October 2023)

Greetings sisters!

One more day we have to choose to strive on for the Lord in truth! He is worthy!

Gracious is the Lord, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.

The Lord preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.

Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the Lord hath dealt bountifully with thee.

Psalm 116:5-7

Awesome scripture!

When you are walking in the true faith you see more of the depths of the Word and what they mean. One area is that you see and learn what it means to be totally surrendered and submitted to His will. And also that we are not our own but are bought with a great price.

What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20

We are also told we are like clay in the Master's hands to be made into what He would make us into. That means we need to be moldable and flexible amen sisters.

Skirt shipping...

And the blessings of fabric and being able to sew biblical clothing for others.

Creation picture of the day...

Let thy mercies come also unto me, O Lord, even thy salvation, according to thy word.
Psalm 119:41

Amen and thank you for sharing that sister! Let us be thankful for all He has done for us!

Hold fast sister soldiers and let's keep fighting the good fight of faith through all we must to endure to the end!

Love in Christ,

Today's Encouragement (25 October 2023)

Greetings sisters!

I'm coming back here again to edify you today for God's glory!

Thank you sister for this reminder...

We have many responsibilities as daughters of the most high God don't we sisters?! We do have a high calling in Christ!

Snowy, cold walk today...

But beautiful in it's own way.

Makes a slippery icy mess of the roads though...
Glad I don't have to drive in that.

(Thank you sister for adding that scripture:-)

I was thinking today how we can and need to be a good example at all times as we know we are being watched most of all by the Lord but by all people who see us, the saints and the lost world. And we need to be a good witness as we bear Christ's name lest we bring reproach upon Him which we do not want to do. And even how we handle trials is a good witness if we do it well. People may expect to see us stumble or react in a way that the world does but we have a better way of life - the Lord's ways.

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Isaiah 55:8-9

It was sweet today seeing the three year old walking around the house with a big pole (which was his gospel sign:-) and asking if I wanted a gospel card or needed a homeless pack:-) In fact, the other day when we went shopping he reminded us to take along homeless packs and sure enough there was a homeless man at the traffic lights begging and so brother gave him a pack. (These homeless packs are small bags we have with simple snacks and a gospel card in for beggars or those in need.). Even the children can help in good things even though of course they do not yet understand the depths of it all. Hopefully they grow up to be godly saints in time! It's a blessing to see them being trained in the Lord. Godly mother's have a big responsibility!

I'm sharing some reminders for us to be thankful for our great Saviour!

The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree.

Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.

Acts 5:30-32

But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:

2 Timothy 1:10

And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.

1 John 4:14

He is our only hope! Let us follow hard after Him and walk in His truth and grace!

Hold fast sister saints!

Today's Encouragement (24 October 2023)

Greetings godly sisters!

One more day to follow after our holy Saviour! I hope that's what my sisters are striving at today!

If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

Colossians 3:1

Our window view today...

While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.
Genesis 8:22

It's an amazing creation really.

Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail,

Job 38:22

Beautiful, but challenging for everyday life of course. But one day we won't have to deal with such things of this earth!

They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.

Revelation 7:16

Let us be diligent to be found worthy of such awesome promises! And let us walk in thankfulness for all we have in Him!

I was thinking about how often people do not keep their word. But most of all, thinking about how we as sister saints need to be careful we say what we mean and mean what we say. And if we know we are forgetful we need to do our best to remember something we said we would do...like write it down in our notes asap. This is one way we can be trustworthy and faithful as we ought to be...for His glory!

But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.

Matthew 5:37

When thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it; for he hath no pleasure in fools: pay that which thou hast vowed.

Better is it that thou shouldest not vow, than that thou shouldest vow and not pay.

Ecclesiastes 5:4-5

For one example and which got me thinking on this was of the people who say "Yes I want godly fellowship and will contact you!", but then they don't. Of course we are human and other things can come in the way of our 'plans' but I'm just saying we want to make sure we say what we fully mean. And we sisters also say and know and mean - 'His will be done' as we know things can change! But despite it all we want to be careful with what words we do speak.

Seest thou a man that is hasty in his words? there is more hope of a fool than of him.

Proverbs 29:20

Next chapter of Revelation scripture reading here...

Let us take heed to what the Lord tells us.

Thank you sister for these...

Keep holding fast to Christ and His truth sisters!

Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
2 Timothy 1:13

Love to you all in the Lord,

Salutations to my sisters!

Hopefully you're striving on steadfastly and strong today!

And Hannah prayed, and said, My heart rejoiceth in the Lord, mine horn is exalted in the Lord: my mouth is enlarged over mine enemies; because I rejoice in thy salvation.

There is none holy as the Lord: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God.

Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogancy come out of your mouth: for the Lord is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed.

1 Samuel 2:1-3

Amen...good and true words. The Lord is our Rock and He is the one and only God! How blessed we are to have His Word and know Him through it. And importantly to be known and accepted of Him also...

But if any man love God, the same is known of him.

1 Corinthians 8:3

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

Romans 12:1

I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.

John 10:14

But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.

Acts 10:35

Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.

2 Corinthians 5:9

First snow for the winter here...

God thundereth marvellously with his voice; great things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend.

For he saith to the snow, Be thou on the earth; likewise to the small rain, and to the great rain of his strength.

Job 37:5-6

She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet.

Proverbs 31:21

He giveth snow like wool: he scattereth the hoarfrost like ashes. He casteth forth his ice like morsels: who can stand before his cold?

Psalm 147:16-17

Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

Isaiah 1:18

Even though I've never lived where it snowed...I better get used to it here!

And I had to share this beautiful picture a sister shared...

More glory to God the Creator...and in fact to Jesus Christ also of course!
All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

John 1:3
He is worthy of all praise!

Hold fast sisters! And we don't let our circumstances affect our joy in the Lord as we have so much in Him and a home to come if we endure! Strive on soldiers!

Greetings sisters!

Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,

Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy,

For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;

Philippians 1:2-5

Praise God for all good blessings...including peace and grace. Let us strive to walk worthy of Him. I hope you sisters are strong in the faith today!

We picked some rosehips from along the river...

Healthy blessings.

Sewing in progress...

And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;

1 Thessalonians 4:11

Thank you sister for sharing this...

And I share some more verse on magnifying Him!

Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: let such as love thy salvation say continually, The Lord be magnified.

Psalm 40:16

According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death.

Philippians 1:20

O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together.

 Psalm 34:3

Keep striving on sisters! We know we have to fight in this life of spiritual battles in order to endure! But in His power and Word we can overcome and make it to the end...to stand before the Son of man!

Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Luke 21:36

Hello sisters!

I hope you are standing strong today! I'm back again sharing some edifying for you. May the Lord be glorified in us as we bear much good fruit for Him!

If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

Romans 12:18-19

God's ways are good amen sisters.

Shopping day again today...

A bit different seeing big bins of all sorts of foods.

And of course we saints are His witnesses as we go out into the world and there are always opportunities for the gospel to go out, and being ready to give an answer and shining our lights in many ways.

Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.
Matthew 10:16

Fabric shopped for skirt sewing coming up too...

I'm thankful to have good things to keep occupied in!

Walk in His creation...

Cold but pretty.

Praise God for all good things!

And thank you sister for sharing these...

Great thoughts and scriptures to be reminded of!

Hold fast sisters and keep striving on.

So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.

Romans 14:12

Let's be ready sisters.
