Today's Encouragement (30 June 2022)

Hello sister saints!

This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.
And let ours also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they be not unfruitful.
Titus 3:8,14

I love those scriptures! It shows diligence in living holy lives for the Lord being fruitful in good works! That is a sign we are Christ's isn't it connected to our Vine and not cut off.

Today's Encouragement (29 June 2022)

Hello sisters!

Here I am back again sharing a little to edify you, my sisters!

I hope all of you are strong in the Lord today! He is so worthy! I'm hoping you're zealous for the Lord and His good works today and not growing weary!

Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
Titus 2:13-14

Thank you faithful sister for this scripture...

That's a precious truth about our Saviour! He is Lord of lords and King of kings! Glory to Him! And we sisters want to be submitted to Him.

I love this scripture from brother Peter...

For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.
For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount.
2 Peter 1:16-18

And this one from brother John...

That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;
(For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)
That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.
And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.
1 John 1:1-4

And thinking about how we can trust in His Word and the truths of His Son and how we're blessed to have the Comforter now. And remembering that Jesus said we are blessed if we believe but haven't seen. And we look forward to the hope to come when He returns or we go to be with Him!! Let's keep striving on to be found worthy to stand before Him in that day.

Today's Encouragement (28 June 2022)

Greetings sisters!

I'm back this day! How are my sisters!

I read this scripture this morning and it is how I feel about my sisters too! Well pretty much like that!

For this cause, when I could no longer forbear, I sent to know your faith, lest by some means the tempter have tempted you, and our labour be in vain.
But now when Timotheus came from you unto us, and brought us good tidings of your faith and charity, and that ye have good remembrance of us always, desiring greatly to see us, as we also to see you:
Therefore, brethren, we were comforted over you in all our affliction and distress by your faith:
For now we live, if ye stand fast in the Lord.
For what thanks can we render to God again for you, for all the joy wherewith we joy for your sakes before our God;
1 Thessalonians 3:5-9

I love that! How precious are the brethren and the love we share and it's a joy when we're all striving on in the faith! Look forward to hearing from the ones I know daily!

So that's my edification and sharing for today! Hold fast to the truth sisters! It will be so worth it all! Most of all...our God and Saviour are worthy!

Today's Encouragement (27 June 2022)

Hello sisters!

How are you?

The days just keep rolling by don't they sisters!

We know life is really a vapor...that appears just for a little time and then vanishes away.

But within that we must walk through daily life and any trials that come. And sometimes it can seem like a long time. But compared to eternity it's very short and we know it's worth going through and nothing compared to the glory to come!

For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
Romans 8:18

We have such a worthy Saviour who made the way for us!

Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;
Hebrews 5:8-9

Let us take this striving after Him seriously! Instead of living for this life only, we prepare for the next. We know the truth that God owns us and made us and if we are His children we submit ourselves to Him and don't want to do our ways.

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
James 4:7

The last pumpkins are in from the garden...

What a beautiful day it was and what blessings God provides!

Share some cornflake crunch with cream...

Good simple dessert. Melt some butter and honey and add some coconut and cornflakes and bake on top of cooked fruit of some kind (apples pears peaches).

I love that and we sisters can say amen along with Hannah who was also a holy woman of God. Indeed we serve a great God! He is worthy to be praised and magnified!

OK sisters well just some simple sharing from me for today! Hope you hold fast sisters and what a great blessing it is to know God's faithful remnant is out there few though they be.

Today's Encouragement (26 June 2022)

Hello sisters!

Are you stedfast in the Lord today? I hope so! He has give us is so much truth! We have His Word and Spirit as we build on Christ our Rock! And we have a loving Father who cares for His children. We truly are blessed to have so much ...more than we ever could deserve. God's grace and mercy is so amazing!

For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the stedfastness of your faith in Christ.
Colossians 2:5

I love that! Let us sisters be orderly and stedfast in the faith!

There are many precious things in this life in Christ. And others who are not in it will most likely not see it or understand. But we still remember Jesus said to preach the gospel to every creature. Praise God all can come if they are willing to lose their life to find it in Him.

Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
Matthew 16:24

I had a sewing day today. Made a skirt and a few headcoverings to put on my shop.

God gave us this day! And we sisters live our lives in thankfulness and in obedience to our Lord. We don't want to ever complain do we. God gave us an example in the children of Israel of what He thought of it. Let's remember that sisters and focus on how rich we are in Christ.

So that's my simple post for today. Sometimes I have more to share and some less but I will be content with what I do have.

Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all. Amen.

Today's Encouragement (25 June 2022)

Greetings in our Lord to my sisters!

God gave us one more day to live for Him!

Isn't God so merciful and longsuffering to endure all He does from the wicked. But one day He will put it all right.

Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;
2 Thessalonians 1:6

We hope they repent and we have a job of sharing that offer of hope with them in the precious gospel of Christ!

Today I have a scripture reading to share to edify you! God's word is good!

Hoping your duties as godly women are going well too! Don't grow weary in doing well sister saints! We shall reap...IF...we faint not!

Keep pressing on and overcoming and fighting the good fight of faith!

Today's Encouragement (24 June 2022)

Hello sisters!

I'm back again and bringing some simple edification. Hope my sisters are all strong in the Lord and not being stumbled by wicked workers and the deception of the enemy. Praise God for His Word and it is so strengthening and keeps bringing us back to the truth if our thoughts or lives wander.

With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.

Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
Psalm 119:10-11, 105

God is good to give us His Word to direct us and His Spirit to lead and guide and open our eyes to it.

Share some tea sisters...

And be reminded that the joy of the Lord is our strength! Amen when we think on the Lord and all His goodness and mercy and love, it sure is a cause of great rejoicing! May we serve Him with our whole heart! It is a joy and not a burden!

We were talking about not being hardened in sin and being able to press one another on.

Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall. Better it is to be of an humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud.
Proverbs 16:18-19

The fear of the Lord is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.
Proverbs 8:13

When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom.
Proverbs 11:2

Today's Encouragement (23 June 2022)

Greetings sister saints!

Thank you sister for that scripture picture!

What great things those are...mercy, peace, and love! All good things from the Lord they are!

Pretty morning it was here...

And I had to get the cows out of the neighbours...

I think they look kind of guilty about being there lol.

Those clouds are just so amazing...just lots of tiny ice crystals they are but so pretty against the blue.

God's handiwork is on display in it all and we glorify Him!

The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
Psalm 19:1

I love that parsley is growing wild in places on the property so there's always some to pick and use to cook with...

Share some pancakes...

God provided my daily bread again. But most of all we feed on His spiritual food in Christ and His Word!

It was such a pretty sunset too...

God's creation is good! We're blessed to have senses to experience it and be thankful for it all and for the life He gives us every day...until He says our time is up on this earth.

A sister shared a verse about walking in truth and so I was thinking of the concept of 'walking' spiritually and share some more scriptures on it.

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Romans 8:1

Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill? He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.
Psalm 15:1-2

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
Ephesians 2:10

He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
1 John 2:6

See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
Ephesians 5:15-16

And there's so many more but God is good to show us how to walk out this life to please Him.

I was printing more gospel papers (longer explanations than just a gospel card) to have on hand in case of need or if I want to send one to someone I know...

Definitely good to have. And for people who don't go on the internet.

And I have my stash of bibles. I know today we have instant bibles on our phones/computers but we want to be prepared with the most important things in life in case we don't have technology one day. And you never know when someone might need one.

His written Word is a precious treasure to have! (Speaking of, you can find audio teachings from a brother studying through the scriptures here if you like.)

And I saw this when I was taking that bible picture...

It's a gift from a dear sister on the other side of the world. She sent it to me. It's a great reminder of getting our strength from the Lord and waiting on Him and that I have sisters who love me too. And I love my sisters!

Thank you for these scriptures today sister...

That goes along with the one above...about waiting on the Lord...and I didn't plan to have those together but just saw they were similar after I had them here. What a great God we have who we can trust in! Let's rest in Him sisters.

Amen we must have great faith to please God. And we sure need it in this faithless world but we're so blessed that we have His Word and Spirit in it all.

Well I think that's about all I have to share today. If the Lord allows I shall be back sharing here tomorrow. We never know what a day may bring forth or when our lives may change greatly so let's rejoice in each day trusting the future to the Lord and fearing only Him!
