A Few Thoughts for Today

Greetings sisters,

What a great scripture to be reminded of and keep in mind!

I have a simple post today with a few thoughts to edify.

I was reading this this morning...

Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out.

Acts 5:9

I'm thankful for all the warnings we have that God gave us in His Word about what not to do. We see there a woman being in sin along with her husband. We know women are to submit to and obey their husbands but not into sin like we see there. She has to obey God first not man. Much to be learned from that account isn't there and we women can learn to stand strong against those around us who say God overlooks sin because of Jesus and His grace.

And great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things.

Acts 5:11

And I shared this one the other day too...

Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.

1 Corinthians 10:9

We don't want to get near sin do we...but flee from it.

Praise God we have the truth and that we can be standing on it against all the lies that people around us may tell us. They say we can still sin don't they. His Word tells us what sins are and I'm glad for that and so we work to crucify the works of the flesh. (You can see a teaching on God's grace here.)

Here's next year's pear crop starting out! You might remember when I posted all the work that went into preserving them last year. Lord willing there will be another bountiful harvest to come. Amazing isn't it how God makes the fruit grow from a flower.

And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

Genesis 1:29

The Lord has provided many wonderful foods for man, and animals for that matter. He is good to us who don't deserve such things. We know this world is marred by sin but those of us in Christ can have the hope for a better world to come! Rejoice in that sisters and strive on with your affections set on things above!

And here are some more great scriptures sisters sent me today...

What great and encouraging scriptures! And what a blessing those who love the Lord are. Thank you for sharing them sisters! Praise God!

And a brother posted this and it's so true isn't it sisters. We have very much work to do in this life in Christ.

OK sisters time for me to go! Let us all strive on in this race, not growing weary, looking unto Jesus!

Lord willing I'll be back here tomorrow.

Love in Christ,

Sister Michaela

More Scriptures and Sharing

Greetings sisters!

Rejoice in one more day to be living for God and one less serving ourselves and satan! Glory to God!

For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

Romans 8:15-18

Praise God for that sisters!

A sister shared a scripture today...Ephesians 1:2-12 so I read it in an audio here....

Some more flowers to give God glory for creating...

And I thought you might like seeing my washing dishes view the other day of a cow chewing peacefully...

Thankyou sister for the scripture pictures below:-) And I share some more scriptures shared among saints today. We know love is to be a marker of Jesus' disciples. And communicating daily is certainly one way and sharing scriptures. You all know of people in your life no doubt who ignore you and don't answer your emails and messages and things you send. And it's sad if it's claimed believers doing so. Are we not to do to others as we would have them do to us and to be kind and such like? Speaking of that, awhile ago I sent a gospel card to an older woman I knew along with a short note on how I was sorry about her poor health (or something like that). She does not claim to be a believer in God even but she sent me back a nice note of thanks in the mail. So sometimes the unbelievers seem to have more love than those claiming Christ when they ignore you. So anyway it's such a blessing to communicate with saints daily. And we know we can't just associate with anyone claiming Christ unless they are holy and obedient and abiding in the doctrines of Christ etc. We know there is to be seperation from believers in sin. And if we are the only one we know standing for truth and holiness then it will have to be so. Christ is worthy!

Right sisters we know we are only to fear God aren't we and not man. Sometimes that's easier said than done but we know we must not be snared in the fear of man and put those fears to death and trust in Christ!

Amen sisters...let us be prepared to defend truth in ways appropriate for us as godly women. What a light we can be shining in a darkening world!

Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.

1 Thessalonians 5:5-6

So what a joy and blessing to be able to share around the truth of Christ! Let us rejoice in this moment we have to do so! I'm so thankful for it while we have it!

Lord willing I shall be back tomorrow. Strive on you daughters of God!

Love in Christ,

Today's Sister Edification

Good day sister saints!

Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.

2 Corinthians 2:14

Praise God sisters for all Christ is to us and the strength He gives us to press on in this life. He did so much for us and we love Him and we want to please Him amen.

I hope you are doing well and my posts often have no particular subject so it's just under the title of sisterly edification:-) Praise God for being able to share and be edified by others in Him.

I was thinking about how Jesus said we have to lose everything to follow Him. And we know we gain so much more in Him, holy and eternal things!

Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.

For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

Matthew 16:24-26

We also know if our earthly family doesn't follow Him then there is separation...in heart and in the physical (if we can).

I know I've probably shared this one a few times before but don't you find that encouraging and true too?

By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter;

Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;

Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.

Hebrews 11:24-26

Amen sisters, the greater riches are in Christ!

Also we get to have spiritual family who truly all love the Lord and do His will! Whether or not we know about them, we know God has His remnant who do not go after other things before Him. That is such a blessing and we know there are few, but He has them out there shining where He has called them. And that is His business isn't it sisters and we need to be faithful in our own calling and business.

We also get the love of spiritual family which is such a caring true love. One that is selfless and truly cares for the others soul. I'm blessed because I know some may have to strive on alone without any interaction with other spiritual family to encourage and edify them. And even though I am on the other side of the world I must say I am much closer in heart to spiritual family than to anyone I have been in all my 28 years of life on this earth. Distance doesn't diminish the unity and love we can have in Christ and one day we shall all be gathered home with the Father. Glory to God because we know Christ is who we are following but it's extra special to know of others truly following Him too! He is the centre of our love and from that comes a deep and caring love for one another. It is only what those who have given up all for Christ, and are willing to, will ever experience. Praise God and let us strive on in all ways of the life of a godly woman.

And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:

Hebrews 10:24

Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.

But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;

Hebrews 3:12-14

(Thank you sister for sharing that verse today.)

Some Titus 2 that went on...

And get a plate sisters!

Praise God for good food for another day! We not only have food but a great variety of it to choose from.

As a sister said when we were messaging...

Amen let's remember to have a truly thankful hearts for everything.

Here's a bird that I had to help find his way out as he got trapped in the chicken cage. I think he's one of the parents of those little fluffy baby birds I posted yesterday.

I was happy to let him go back to feeding his babies! (I know it's the male bird because they look a bit different.)

Sisters, isn't this rose so beautiful! (It smells amazing like lemonade too:-)

Glory to God for such pretty things He created on this earth!

How can anyone say this all made itself from nothing! What a lie that is but we see the order and the variety and the greatness and the intricacies and know there is a Creator! And He told us so in His Word!

I was thinking how we often say things like the will of the Lord be done. There is much depth to that isn't there sisters and it means we are totally surrendered to what He has for us. So it helps take away any disappointments we might go through and even if we find ourselves in a situation that is not what we hoped we are to have that trust and be submitted to His will for our lives. We trust that all things work for good to us.

For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.

James 4:15

Amen sisters.

That is it from me today but Lord willing I shall be back tomorrow! Strive on in the truth!

Love in Christ,

Sister Michaela

Glory to God for His Creation

Greetings sisters!

One more day to live for the Lord amen?! How was yours? Or if it's morning where you are I hope yours goes well as you seek after the kingdom of God and His righteousness!

Isn't that wonderful sisters? Glory to God for that! We can lose focus of these things in the midst of all the other things we need to do in this life. And we do walk by faith and not sight but we trust God's Word and He is faithful. His promises are true! But we see how richly blessed we are when we are in Christ and walking in His ways!

Sisters don't you think this is amazing that the Father does this to us?

Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.

If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.

These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.

John 15:8-11

Oh don't we want to be His disciples bearing much fruit sisters!

And I share some more creations I got to see. Glory to God for the beautiful changing seasons and all the things He allows us to see by giving us eyesight and hearing and life (because we deserved death). In fact this is what Christ gives us...

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

John 10:10

Praise God for life sisters!

Here's some cute fluffy baby birds just left the nest...

I could see them from the clothes line high in a tree.

(just some Titus 2 from today:-)

And another interesting creation in a snake I saw today...

And a beautiful rose....

Don't you marvel at the variety God made in this world? It is beyond our imagination as we can only see a tiny fraction. Glory to Him for it all!

And the moon...

Praise ye the Lord. Praise ye the Lord from the heavens: praise him in the heights.

Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts.

Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light.

Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens.

Let them praise the name of the Lord: for he commanded, and they were created.
Psalm 148:1-5

Amen!

And the bees were super loud and busy today, making honey and things I guess...

And all these created things only go about doing what they are supposed to do. But we know that man has rebelled against His creator. We all have. Those of us who have come back to Him through His Son have repented and now strive every day to do that which is pleasing to Him even in this fallen world and imperfect body that we have. One day we shall be free from all these struggles if we endure faithful!

Thank you faithful sister for sharing more pictures:-) I share them here along with some scriptures shared today among the brethren.

Amen sisters! We know we are to love God first above all else! How are we doing that if we are not obeying His commandments and rejecting error and sin. Let us press on in the truth!

Yes we can appreciate the creations God made and praise Him for it all but most of all sisters glory to God for the new creations we can be in Christ!

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

2 Corinthians 5:17

OK sisters time for me to go! Lord willing I will be coming back here tomorrow! Strive on in the true faith and hope of the gospel sisters!

Love in Christ,

Sister Michaela

Today's Sisterly Edification

Hello sisters!

I'm thankful for one more day to be able to share something edifying with you. Let's not take each day and the blessings in it for granted but be thankful to the Lord for them all. We have much above food and clothing don't we! You only need to think that one day all these things may be stripped away from us, quickly or one by one. You can see easily how that could be in this time we are living in. We must focus on that which is eternal and can never fail! How encouraging to know there are some things that are solid and will never change! Praise God that He always will be and His Word will always be truth!

Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like: He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.

Luke 6:47-48

For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

2 Corinthians 5:1

Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.

Acts 10:34-35

Praise God for that sisters! Glory to God that we can, wherever we are on this earth, be accepted with Him! Let us fear Him and work righteousness at all times sisters. What a great gift and opportunity we have been given to find hope through Jesus.

I read Psalm 116 to edify us sisters...

I was thinking today how people try to make Sunday the Sabbath day of rest and in doing so make up all their own rules of what to do and not do etc. I remember I used to think the same and it didn't make sense when people tried to make it be a day of rest and yet went and did their own worldly things and things that are certainly not restful. It's all hypocrisy and lies, deception and sin. They have merged the lie that Sunday is the Lord's day to the old law sabbath day. (You can find a teaching here on why Sunday is not the Lord's day.)

I was also thinking how when I was deceived into thinking that it was some kind of special holy day I decided to not join my family when they went off for music practices and events on that day (at times) and just stayed home or went to church instead. That was a hard thing to do, to be different, but I thought I was doing what's right. Well now I know both are wrong (along with many other man made ways) but what I want to say is that we can think something is so right but then in the end it is wrong. And I had quite a few such false ideas which I have repented of and learned better on since. So we have to cling fast to God's Word sisters. I'm sure you all know of deceptions and ways in your own lives that would only have led to death too if continued on and that we see others on even if they have been warned.

Praise God for showing us the truth and really it is just getting back to what scripture says and rejecting what it doesn't. Glory to God! But we need the Spirit to open our eyes and ears too don't we. And keep shining your lights sisters! You may help warn others from such dangers if they will heed.

God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

John 4:24

Beautiful sunny spring day today here...

Glory to God!

Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.

John 9:31

And an amazing design of the Creator's in a bird feather...

And in pretty red grass seeds...

O praise the Lord, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people. For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the Lord endureth for ever. Praise ye the Lord.

Psalm 117:1-2

And some more food God provided to 'share' with you sisters...

OK well that is my edification for this day. Lord willing I shall be back here tomorrow! Strive on sisters! Our future is in eternity with the Father if we endure!

After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.

Revelation 7:9-10

Fervent love to my holy obedient sisters in the Lord!
