Today's Encouragement (31 December 2022)

Greetings sisters!

Here's another day to serve the Lord and so I'm back here again to edify and encourage my sisters! I've had a busy day in ministry and sewing work and such! Thankful for all we can do even if we have to deal with the challenges of this world we live in; like trying to get a sewing order into a country without it returning to me again.

That actually reminds me of how we can't just expect to get into the 'heavenly country' but we must have come the right way...through the gospel of Christ. (See more on the gospel explained here.) Also reminds me of Jesus' parable with the man not having on a wedding garment...his end was not good. There are conditions to being allowed to enter heaven for sure aren't there sisters! Strict conditions...only one way through Christ in spirit and truth following hard after Him! He made the way for those who obey Him! Let's keep being diligent in obeying Him sisters. I'm blessed to know a few of you who are vigilant in that all.

I share this scripture...

So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:

It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:

It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

1 Corinthians 15:42-44

Which reminds me of this one...

Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Revelation 20:6

Which reminds me of what a brother said about the second death being a terrifying thought...and indeed it is. Let us keep fearing the Lord sisters and striving to walk blameless and holy, acceptable to Him!

And a few scriptures sisters shared...

That's an interesting one to ponder...us being born of Him by the word of truth.

That's a joyous one...amen! Our joy is in the Lord!

He is all we need. And He provides us with food and raiment and so much extra and we want to use that for His glory and to further His kingdom!

Another great one to look forward to...but we just have today to live for Him preparing for that great day if we overcome!

I'm thankful for sisters who love the Word of God and live it no matter what! Hold fast sisters! And I hope all your good Titus 2 works go well for you also!

Love in Christ,

Today's Encouragement (30 December 2022)

Hello sisters!

I'm dropping by again in the midst of my busy day. But I don't forget my sisters in Christ or any seekers who may be reading here! I hope you're all doing well and striving on in the Lord seeking that which is eternal!

If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

Colossians 3:1-2

I share a few scriptures to edify...

Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.

Psalm 19:14

For my mouth shall speak truth; and wickedness is an abomination to my lips.

All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing froward or perverse in them.

They are all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge.

Proverbs 8:7-9

And those would also go for all our written words too.

We want to be good trees bringing forth all good fruit!

Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.

Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter?

Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.

James 3:10-12

More sewing it was for me today...

Thankful for strength and ability God gives me to do what I can.

Just thought this was a bit funny as any of you sewing sisters would understand. Hoping the thread doesn't run out before you finish a seam. But it sure does sometimes!

But praise God for His truth that never runs out!

This is a practical picture of what Jesus said about not rooting up the tares lest it uproot the wheat also..

(from when I was weeding in the garden and pulled up a bean plant with a big weed)

He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?

But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.

Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

Matthew 13:28-30

(also reminds me that the pre-tribulation rapture is a lie)

Thank you sisters for this picture...

That's an awesome sunset and scripture! Amen our Lord is worthy of that all...and more than we can give Him! Let us give Him our life in service to Him.

Well I must go but keep holding fast sister saints! And each day is a new one of His mercies and we keep growing and doing better striving for perfection!

Love to you all,

Sister Michaela

Today's Encouragement (29 December 2022)

Hello sisters!

I'm popping back in quick after a busy day in the Lord. I hope you're going well in the faith no matter where you are or what time of day it is for you around the world!

What a blessing to be godly women and that the Lord has told us how to live! We have no excuse to not know but we keep striving on against our flesh and spiritual wickedness in high places too.

I got some sewing done for one thing...

Always satisfying seeing something completed. Reminds me that we have to finish our faith race still as it's not something we've completed yet is it?!

But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

1 Corinthians 9:27

And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

Matthew 10:22

Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

Revelation 2:10

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

2 Timothy 4:7-8

Amen sisters...let's endure and keep the faith until the very end! Hold fast sisters! Lord willing I'll be back sharing more tomorrow!

Today's Encouragement (28 December 2022)

Greetings sisters!

Hope things are going well in your corner of the earth! All God's saints are shining all around the world wherever He has them! Keep shining your light for Him sisters and spreading the gospel to those around you as you can!

Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.

Acts 8:4

I read this scripture and was pondering on 'the love of the truth'...

And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

2 Thessalonians 2:10

We want to love the truth don't we?!

I share some more scriptures on truth for us all to ponder...

Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;

1 Corinthians 13:6

I rejoiced greatly that I found of thy children walking in truth, as we have received a commandment from the Father.

2 John 1:4

Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.

John 18:37

Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

1 Corinthians 5:8

It's a very important concept for us isn't it?! There's only one truth too isn't there.

Amazing bird feather God made...

And garlic blessings....

And soup blessings...

And a good reminder to rejoice in the hope we have in Christ!

And some more verses I shared with sisters...

We have a great hope in Christ! Let's all make sure we are following Him!

Plenty of zucchini chocolate cake to share with all my sisters...

Two more little girls' skirts sewn...

Well I guess that's a bit of a picture glimpse of my day!

Well it makes me think that everything we do is a reflection of who we are in Christ...and our witness. Speaking of I want to share a two part audio from the brothers fellowship gathering today. I found it really edifying and so may you too!

Part 1 here

Part 2 here

Let us not bring any shame on His name...or blaspheme it by our ungodly conduct, as this well known scripture for us women says...

To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

Titus 2:5

Let us guard our witness carefully for His glory!

Thank you sisters for these scripture pictures...

So glad we have His Word...and also His creation! That in itself is a witness of Him and all are without excuse! Glory to God!

Hold fast to the true faith sisters! Let's not grow weary in well doing!

Today's Encouragement (27 December 2022)

Greetings sisters!

I hope you're standing strong in the Lord today!

That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.

Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.

Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 3:10-14

Amen let us be doing that too...pressing forward!

Blessings....

Seeing how they dry...

This picture of the scorched grapevine after a really hot day made me think that there is a time coming of great heat in the tribulation.

And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.

And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.

Revelation 16:8-9

And I know people may not want to talk about it but it's part of the righteous judgement of our great and holy God and we hope people repent before it's too late. God is good to tell us what terrible suffering is coming upon the ungodly. If you're reading this and you're not right with God (living in your own ways and sin and compromise) then I hope you consider the reality of what is coming on the unbelievers, the disobedient and lukewarm and those with lip service belief in Jesus, and repent.

But for the saints who overcome we have this promise...

Praise God for His mercy and let's keep pressing on until we're free from this earthly life!

Check out the swarms of dragonflies this evening...

...which are hopefully eating mosquitoes! God's amazing creations!

Sewing some little girls skirts in these days...

Thankful for what I can do!

Thank you sisters for the scripture pictures...

We know it's true wisdom to fear the Lord!

I love that! His mercies are very great indeed!

This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.

Lamentations 3:21-22

Diligent hard working godly women...I know my sisters are that!

Hold fast to the Lord sister saints! Lord willing I will be back tomorrow and hope you are too!

Today's Encouragement (26 December 2022)

Greetings sister saints!

I'm back again! God gave us this day! And we have such hope in it as we have such a great God of hope!

Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

Romans 15:13

Starting on the onion harvesting here...

Such good blessings! For me, onions are pretty much an essential in all meals. But of course I can do without...because I'm thankful for them as extra blessings.

Cute little lizard creation that I rescued out of a water bucket...

So many different creatures God made...all with different characteristics. And we know nothing is impossible for Him to do or make! It's humbling that we get to serve or have anything to do with such a great God as that! He is good!

Amen it's all about Him and His glory! (thank you sister for the picture:-) Let us not forget His wonderful works! And we know He is doing mighty works in His saints today and setting us free from bondage amen sisters?!

Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:

(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

2 Corinthians 5:6-10

Yes let's keep striving on diligently to be accepted of Him.

Hope all your Titus 2 works go well sisters!

Today's Encouragement (25 December 2022)

Greetings sisters!

How are you? Well I hear from several of you daily so I know you're all doing well but maybe there's a sister reading I don't know about. But the Lord sees and knows all things doesn't He! We're so limited compared to Him. Makes us humble doesn't it knowing our limitations. But I hope you're all diligently striving after the Lord and walking in His truth.

It was a really warm day here. I thought those clouds looked pretty.

And the thirsty plants needed watering...

Reminds me of us thirsting after the Lord and His truth.

O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;
Psalm 63:1

Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

Matthew 5:6

And animal works to do in my day too...

And all of us sisters have various duties to do wherever we are!

And good ways to strive in...

Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:

Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.

For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:

Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.

For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.

1 Peter 3:8-12

This tree shedding its bark reminds me of us shedding anything that we shouldn't have in our lives and things we learn to shed over the years as we exercise our discernment of good and evil...

But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Hebrews 5:14

Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

1 Thessalonians 5:21

Peaceful and pretty evening light...

Amen He is worthy to be praised for ever and ever! (thank you for all the scriptures you share sisters!)

One more day is over for me. Let's overcome one day at a time, faithful to Him!

Hold fast and keep marching on sisters enduring hardness like a good soldier!

Today's Encouragement (24 December 2022)

Greetings godly sisters!

I have a new day and so I'm back here! Popping in to share a bit of encouragement. I hope you are all diligently striving on and that your good works as godly women are going well for you!

Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

2 Peter 3:14

Amen let's keep doing that sisters!

Good garden harvestings of the day...

What a blessing and it's awesome to think how productive even one seed can be! God's creation is amazing!

Next year's pears and apples coming along...

Hope of a harvest to come...if nothing happens to them and they 'endure' on the trees until then!

A sister just read this scripture today and so I share it here again...

Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation.

Habakkuk 3:17-18

Amen...all else may fail (and even people) and yet we want to keep trusting and rejoicing in the Lord!

Sewing headcoverings today...

And these pictures make me think of order coming out of 'chaos'.

Reminds me how it takes a lot of effort to keep homes and things in general in order too.

And we know our God is one of order and we are to be in His body also.

For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

Let all things be done decently and in order.

1 Corinthians 14:33,40

For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the stedfastness of your faith in Christ.

Colossians 2:5

We order ourselves after the Lord and His commandments don't we!

Well that's it from me for today. Hold fast sisters! I leave with this scripture picture from a sister...

Love to you all,

Sister Michaela
