Today's Encouragement (30 April 2023)

Greetings in the Lord to my sisters!

One more day full of many blessings amen sisters?!

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
Ephesians 1:3-4

Praise God for our great Saviour!

Thank you for the scriptures sister...

I love thinking of His mercy and faithfulness! They are great indeed!

It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
Lamentations 3:22-23

I'm thankful to have all we need to overcome in this faith life! It's all of Him and not of us as we couldn't do it!

One of the things we stand with for our armour is the sword isn't it sisters and that is the Word. We may need to weild it and we know the Word does what it does and is very sharp and can cut. But we let it do what it does...both to ourselves and to others.

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Hebrews 4:12

And His Word is so strengthening to cling to when we have to stand against the massive amounts of deception and wickedness in this world. When we hear lies and false judgements and plain twisted scripture it's so strengthening to remember His Word and that 'it is also written'. So many are just living off what they think is right or living by the flesh and emotions or by a 'spirit' which they claim is the Holy Spirit. But let us cling to the Word sisters and we know the true Holy Spirit will lead us to truth, righteousness, love, joy, peace, longsuffering, goodness, etc.

Hope all your Titus 2 godly woman works are going well and I'm sure we're all working at the qualities God wants us to have as His daughters...meek and quiet spirit, shamefacedness, sobriety, goodness, kindness, submissiveness and such. The Lord is glorified in our good works of helping and serving those in our lives and minding our own business.

Today's Encouragement (29 April 2023)

Greetings holy sisters!

Hope you've had a great day in the Lord and standing for Him.

And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
Joshua 24:15

Amen I will serve the Lord and the sisters I know will too! We love to!

Next scripture reading to edify my sisters...

We serve a great God and Him raising the dead is a small fraction of His mighty power isn't it! And we know He raises the spiritually dead and that's so awesome! Glory to Him!

Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Romans 6:4

Newness of life...I love thinking about that and I love rejoicing with my sisters about their new lives in Him too! The old is past and we would never want it back! Praise God!

The sun rose and set on my day...

One more day closer to eternity and Christ's return. Oh such deception and wickedness in this world. We know it's getting darker. And those claiming the name of Christ are sadly not much better than the world (and so really are the world) so we can see that they are not really His.

And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
Luke 6:46

Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:
Isaiah 29:13

Let us sisters be doers of His will and not just claiming His name. And there's much to do amen sisters?! Let's get to work striving...well keep striving:-) Hold fast wherever you are sisters!

Today's Encouragement (28 April 2023)

Hello godly sisters!

Hope you're well today and striving on in the faith! I am here and having busy days of Titus 2 etc! But I appreciate coming back here and focusing on the things of the Lord and edifying my sisters.

I was thinking how great a God we have and how such a high calling we have to be His daughters. I don't want to take this lightly like sadly most who call themselves by His name and yet disobey Him do. He is worthy of so much more and it's not for our glory to strive hard to obey Him but for His and we know we are not our own!

For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
1 Corinthians 6:20

I was also thinking about the fact of us being His witnesses. That's a pretty big responsibility and are we taking it as seriously as we should? Just good to remind ourselves of such things and have a soberness about this fact.

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
Acts 1:8

We have not seen our Saviour in the flesh but by faith we can be His witnesses in 'the uttermost part of the earth' can't we. Our whole life is governed by His commands and we love to obey them all even if some are harder in the flesh. In fact, I know God's ways are perfect and so much higher than man's but many are so contrary to what our flesh wants. But praise God we crucify our flesh don't we and over time we no longer want what we once did! We abhor all evil and flee all appearance of it and cleave to that which is good!

If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

1 Peter 4:11

'That God in all things may be glorified'...amen let us strive to do that!

Today's Encouragement (27 April 2023)

Greetings sisters!

Hope you're all strong in the Lord! And if not I'm here to encourage you on, well try my best to and whatever I share here I hope blesses you!

More and more I see our great need to hold so fast to God's truth which He has told us as it's such a time of great deception and everyone doing their own thing or seeking experiences outside of scripture that don't line up with truth. So I share some of His Word that tells us to do this.

But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
1 John 2:5

Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.
2 Thessalonians 2:15

Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.
John 14:23-24

I got that last scripture from a sister after I had started this post and already had that scripture in here. I'm so blessed to receive encouragement from like minded holy saints who love God and His Word and each other. We are to be good givers aren't we and we don't want to just receive and receive. We all have different parts in the body but within that there's much the same for us all to do even though we have different callings. We all must obey His Word for whatever applies to us such as we as women. We're thankful to know what God wants from us and how we can please Him which is so important.

It says...'do' doesn't it. So much about obeying, keeping and doing isn't there. This faith life must be full of action...otherwise it's a dead faith we know don't we.

I love that...praise God! He has delivered us from darkness!

Our God is great! We can overcome in Him!

And we have great promises for if we overcome...many precious promises.

Today's Encouragement (26 April 2023)

Greetings sisters!

I hope this day you are strong and stedfast in the Lord! I'm sure you're well occupied in good Titus 2 works and whatever is your duty to do!

(Thank you for that sister:-) Amen let us cleave to the Lord with all that we are!

Ye shall walk after the Lord your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.
Deuteronomy 13:4

Today's Encouragement (25 April 2023)

Greetings sisters!

I'm back again and have had a busy Titus 2 day. Some days I have more to share and some less but I still want to let you know I'm thinking of you and striving on here! And cheer you on to keep standing fast in the faith and truth!

Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved.
Philippians 4:1

We're so blessed to have His Word to read or listen...and to obey!

I'd serve you a plate if I could...

I've got to go wash a pile of dishes yet before bed so I'll leave it there with encouragement for you to keep pressing on sisters in all good things after the Lord by faith.

Today's Encouragement (24 April 2023)

Hello to my sisters around the world!

Hope you're striving on right where you are!

Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
Philippians 2:12

Just some pretty flowers on my trip to the children's again...

I love this scripture and can relate even though I'm extra blessed today with instant daily communication with some of my sisters...

But now when Timotheus came from you unto us, and brought us good tidings of your faith and charity, and that ye have good remembrance of us always, desiring greatly to see us, as we also to see you:
Therefore, brethren, we were comforted over you in all our affliction and distress by your faith:
For now we live, if ye stand fast in the Lord.
For what thanks can we render to God again for you, for all the joy wherewith we joy for your sakes before our God;
1 Thessalonians 3:6-9

Just that it's so encouraging to know others are strong and striving on through all things no matter what. We know we all have trials in this life and to know a saint is striving on means they're dealing with all the trials and not growing weary or being drawn away by the flesh to compromise. It's a joyous thing to be pressing on in the Lord and know others doing so, so few though they may be! And our love and care for one another is great. Our spiritual family...the one we will be with for all eternity, God's holy children...are our real family and closer than flesh and blood family who are not born of God aren't they. And we can understand one another and have the same holy goals of obedience always to our great Saviour and striving to be blameless, not excusing any sin or false doctrine.

Precious are the innocent lil ones.

And they brought unto him also infants, that he would touch them: but when his disciples saw it, they rebuked them.

But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.

Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.
Luke 18:15-17

Just thought that evening sunlight looked pretty coming in when I was cooking...

That must be one of the hugest cloves of garlic...

Today's Encouragement (23 April 2023)

Greetings sisters!

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

We serve such a good God don't we sisters and we know we have more than we deserve. Just the fact that there are so many people alive on this earth shows His great mercy doesn't it. Oh how much He has to long suffer through all the sin and rebellion against Him. How pleasing His holy saints must be to Him as we have been called to be and we're striving for that doing our best. I'm refreshed whenever I think of my godly sisters especially at times of dealing with more sin of the world around.

For they have refreshed my spirit and yours: therefore acknowledge ye them that are such.
1 Corinthians 16:18

Praise God for His creation He has set up!

(Thank you sister for sharing that scripture picture.) Yeah amen...let's keep abiding in our Saviour and bearing much fruit because of that!

God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.
Romans 3:4

I was thinking about that scripture and how people really make God a liar when they believe what man says and what signs and wonders they claim to see even if it contradicts God's Word. We know there's people claiming to be coming back from heaven and even from hell or reporting seeing them and many strange things of all sorts. Seems man wants to have to see in order to believe anything. And yet they're believing things that go against the Word of God and we know satan has great power to deceive and also just the human brain can do some unusual things. Anyway we don't want to run on 'experiences' and not faith and truth and clinging to His Word and be making God a liar. Let God be true and every man a liar. We have been warned not to be deceived and we as women don't want to be like the first woman was in the beginning. Let us walk by faith not sight.

Today's Encouragement (22 April 2023)

Greetings sister soldier saints!

I hope you're pressing on and crucifying the flesh, submitting to the Lord's will and being patient. So much to do in this faith life to keep ourselves in check and pleasing to the Lord like we want to be. We know we must endure and keep striving unto the end!

Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
James 1:12

Thankyou for the scripture pictures sister...

Amen we do know that too! What a great blessing to know and serve the one and only true living God! We know people have made up hundreds and thousands of gods and seem to want to worship something even if it's themselves. But how thankful we are to know the truth and the way to eternal life. We love for others to find this too!

He is worthy to be praised! And we love to be His servants.

I was thinking of this scripture...

And another also said, Lord, I will follow thee; but let me first go bid them farewell, which are at home at my house. And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.
Luke 9:61-62

And I know for all of us when we come to the Lord to follow Him our relationship with our earthly families/friends (and everyone really) will not be the same (unless of course if they are all true believers then it would be wonderful but reality is there's so few). Some may be physically seperated completely due to following the Lord and others we may still be in their lives but as we see from that scripture we can't be looking back at them or may need to let them go either physically or in our hearts. Sometimes we might feel bad in our flesh to move on from those we once were close to but that scripture really sets us straight and gets us moving forward not looking back at the people who refuse to repent and follow Him too.

I'm sure all my sisters have been occupied in many godly woman works whatever they are!

And I'm sure you'll rest well knowing you did your best and worked hard and the Lord gives the blessing of rest doesn't He.

I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety.

Today's Encouragement (21 April 2023)

Greetings sisters!

I'm back again and hope you all are too which means something awesome...that we're striving on in the Lord! Well unless you're a seeker or just reading in which case I hope you count the cost and make the step to repent and fully follow the Saviour who is so worthy! Remember the rich young ruler who got stuck on one thing that he could not surrender and would not find eternal life because of it. We sisters don't want that in any way and we trust the Lord would reveal any areas like that which we need to repent of.

Glory to our great King!

These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
Revelation 17:14

Praise God!

Scripture reading for my sisters to be further edified...

We know that is an important part of our life being born from above, becoming a child of God. We cannot enter the kingdom without being so can we.

Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
1 John 4:7

I was thinking how so much is outside of our control isn't it sisters. Sometimes we may feel desperate for some situation to change but we need to let things go and let them be as long as we are being obedient to the Lord ourselves of course.

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
Isaiah 55:8-9

We don't want to distrust the Lord do we. And this life is one of flesh killing isn't it and saying and meaning...'His will be done'. We are so small compared to Him and can't see the future as He can. Let us press on and let Him deal with things outside of our control.

Planting out leeks today...

Amazing the whole process of planting seeds and with the water and sunshine and nutrients God made growing them and such and then they produce fruit or can be eaten! All with much work from the gardener and patience to wait and see if there is a harvest like if they don't get eaten by some cretaure or something:-)

Today's Encouragement (20 April 2023)

Greetings sisters!

How's things in your corner of the earth?! Hope you're standing and growing and holding fast to the Lord's truth on this day and not being tossed to and fro with all sorts of doctrines. We want to be grounded in His Word.

I love these scriptures about being stablished...

But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.
1 Peter 5:10

To the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.
1 Thessalonians 3:13

Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.
James 5:8

Stand stedfast and strong where the Lord has called you to stand sister soldier saints!

Glory to the Creator for all He has made! We can only see a tiny fraction of it at any one time.

Yeah fixing the ant problem in the kitchen. Reminds me of what the churches are doing today...feeding people with things they like but it's deadly poison to their souls.

Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
James 1:15
