Today's Encouragement (21 April 2023)

Greetings sisters! 

I'm back again and hope you all are too which means something awesome...that we're striving on in the Lord! Well unless you're a seeker or just reading in which case I hope you count the cost and make the step to repent and fully follow the Saviour who is so worthy! Remember the rich young ruler who got stuck on one thing that he could not surrender and would not find eternal life because of it. We sisters don't want that in any way and we trust the Lord would reveal any areas like that which we need to repent of.

Glory to our great King! 

These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

Scripture reading for my sisters to be further edified... 

We know that is an important part of our life being born from above, becoming a child of God. We cannot enter the kingdom without being so can we. 

Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

1 John 4:7

I was thinking how so much is outside of our control isn't it sisters. Sometimes we may feel desperate for some situation to change but we need to let things go and let them be as long as we are being obedient to the Lord ourselves of course. 

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Isaiah 55:8-9

We don't want to distrust the Lord do we. And this life is one of flesh killing isn't it and saying and meaning...'His will be done'. We are so small compared to Him and can't see the future as He can. Let us press on and let Him deal with things outside of our control. 

Planting out leeks today... 

Amazing the whole process of planting seeds and with the water and sunshine and nutrients God made growing them and such and then they produce fruit or can be eaten! All with much work from the gardener and patience to wait and see if there is a harvest like if they don't get eaten by some cretaure or something:-) 

My day is over with a pretty sunset...
