Love the Truth

Greetings another day sisters! Hope you are all strong in the Lord and His truth!

I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.

3 John 1:4

We love the truth do we not sisters! We love God and His righteousness and holy ways. Everything true is of Him and we know who is the father of lies...satan himself. So we have tested all things in our lives haven't we and continue to do so to make sure we are walking in the truth. Praise God for His Word for telling us truth!

But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

John 4:23-24

I love that and what Jesus revealed to the seeking woman at the well.

Here's a verse we often reference...

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Philippians 4:8

And we want to make sure our thoughts are in line with those areas. We know this is a wicked world but there's so many good things we can occupy our thoughts and our speech on. One of them being on what is true! (And yes we have many things that are not true and are lies like Christmass, pretrib rapture, easy believism, Good Friday, Sunday as the Lord's day and on and on from today's false church religion.)

But we indeed have so many good and true things to think on in the Lord. We can marvel at God's creation and give Him glory for it. We women have a multitude of Titus 2 related subjects and all the other ones that pertain particularly to us to dwell on. We can think about God and Christ Himself who is the truth and all the scriptures and holy commands in them. And if the Lord has blessed us with sisters in our life we can share all such good things together edifying and encouraging. We love truth and light and life...and hate darkness and lies which lead to death.

Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

John 17:17

We certainly know there are so many who take truth lightly and do not love it.

And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

2 Thessalonians 2:10

But let us sisters...lovers of truth...keep diligently pressing on. We can be standing for truth and being a great witness by our life of godliness and ready to give an answer.

We know about all the truthful ways specifically for us women...submissive, meek and quiet spirit, unadorned long loose clothing with headcovering, keeper at home, sober minded, chaste, and such like. Praise God for telling us His true ways. Let us keep loving His truth and obeying...unto death!

---------------------

After some refreshing cooler days...the sun is out for some warmer weather ahead...

Shining on the pretty flowers...

How His creation all works together is amazing!

Here's a simple healthy salad or snack idea/combination...

Can of chickpeas, tomatoes chopped, olive oil, curry powder and salt & pepper.

Good healthy foods the Father provides.

I enjoyed watching the mummy chicken scratch around with the chicks...

We sisters are often talking about how God's creations are just going about their business not in rebellion as man is. But we who have been made alive by the Spirit are no longer in rebellion and we strive against it hating all sin and false ways, loving truth.

Beautiful evening light...

And cool evening air after a warmer day. Very refreshing and with the smell of the ocean too.

And pretty sunset...

(with a dragonfly flying in front of the sun.)

And the moon's out too...

All good things to think on as per Philippians 4:8. Glory to the Creator! He made us too...so we want to be fitting in with His ways for us.

Well I shall go now sisters! I appreciate those who also love the Lord and His truth as I do. I know it is so rare to find in this dark deceived world...but God has His remnant doesn't He. Glory to Him!

You have a great day sister saints!

The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.

Psalm 145:18

Love in Christ,

Rejoicing in the Word of God

Greetings sisters!

How are you? Hope you are doing well and are strong in our Lord!

I rejoice at thy word, as one that findeth great spoil.

Psalm 119:162

Aren't you so glad we have the Word of God? I am! What a blessing and great gift the Lord has given us! And we sisters take that seriously and feed on His Word and obey it don't we.

And Samuel grew, and the Lord was with him, and did let none of his words fall to the ground.

1 Samuel 3:19

I like that. If only people today who claim His name would do that too. Precious words they are. It says 'none of His words'. Sadly some pick and chose what they want to hear and obey don't they. A woman may go so far in her obedience to biblical dress...and stop where she feels comfortable...ignoring an area of scripture say for example headcovering. We don't want that do we sisters. God is so much more worthy of half hearted obedience and stopping short when it gets harder in the flesh. Plus wilful disobedience and rebellion (sin) is not going to lead to eternal life either.

...sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

(James 1:15b)

How extra blessed we are today to have the full Word of God revealed in His Son! Let us treasure it and live it in our lives...even unto death!

I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

John 17:15-17

We don't need anything else, no new revelations or 'truths' do we. It's the Spirit Himself who teaches and opens eyes isn't it sisters. We don't need all those books of man of all kinds of opinions and beliefs. The Word is enough! It's from God Himself who is perfect!

For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.

1 Thessalonians 2:13

We know it must be important if God has something included in His Word (especially His instructions for the NT ways). God does nothing idle does He! So we don't take any of His commands lightly. He spent, via Paul, 16 verses (in 1 Corinthians 11) on the place of women and why they should cover their heads. He told women via Paul and Peter how they should not adorn externally (1 Timothy 2, 1 Peter 3). He gave command via Paul how women ought to be silent in the body not teaching men (1 Corinthians 14, 1 Timothy 2). And for wives to submit to husbands (Ephesians 5, Colossians 3).

We shouldn't let any of these or all the many other commands 'fall to the ground' so to speak or ignore them. What would that tell us if we knew that God gave us instructions and commandments but we didn't look and see and then obey them? Wouldn't it tell us we did not love God? It would show we still want to do our own things that's for sure and we are in a way our own god. We must take God seriously mustn't we sisters! I know my sisters do! It's refreshing to see those who do not try to make excuses for what the clear word of God says (or refuse to look). We will be held accountable with what we did with what we had in easy access. We all have the Word and the eyesight and definitely the time (because it's so important) to look and search and then obey...if we love God and are His. He is to be first isn't He sisters and He will have no gods before Him (like ourselves). Let us be a witness, standing against those who take His Word so very lightly. And live giving glory to God who bought us with a great price and calls us to be peculiar people zealous for good works!

Here's this most well known verse for us women...

That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,

To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

Titus 2:4-5

And we certainly do not want to blaspheme the word of God by our disobedience.

How precious is this...

And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:

Revelation 6:9

And so let us also be willing and ready to die for the word of God. He is so so worthy of it all.

How precious are all the things we have been given. We don't want to trample this all or take it lightly at all do we.

Remember this sisters...

He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

John 8:47

Many just will not understand will they. We hope they will seek and God may open their eyes to truth. There is hope through the gospel isn't there sisters!

Quick Titus 2 pic of the day and good provisions from the Lord...

How blessed we all are to have physical food but most importantly the word of God by which man lives.

Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O Lord God of hosts.

Jeremiah 15:16

I'm sure the longer we walk in this life in Christ the more we see the high ways of God as opposed to man's evil ever changing ways. We see all He says is true. We see how few truly value His Word and truly have any faith in Him and love each other. But sisters what a firm foundation we can have builded upon Christ and His Word and ways.

OK sisters I must go now but I hope you were encouraged by pondering the goodness of the Lord in giving us His Word! And I know we sisters all want to conform our lives to what we are to do as godly women! Lord willing I shall be back here tomorrow...hold fast to the truth of the Word sister soldier saints!

Love in Christ to you!

Pondering Meaningful Words

Good day sisters, wherever you are!

"Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love."

2 John 1:3

I had an idea to share some words that are just that, simple words, and yet they have so much meaning within them.

And I'll share just one scripture on each but they are worth your own studies on each one for sure. His Word is full of treasures!

I thought we sisters could ponder these words together...and be edified. God is good to us.

Peace

"Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee : because he trusteth in thee."

Isaiah 26:3

Mercy

"For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him."

Psalm 103:11

Love

"Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren."

Grace

"For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;"

Titus 2:11-12

Forgiveness

"But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared."

Psalm 130:4

Goodness

Exodus 34:6

Light

"I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness."

John 12:46

Trust

"But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead:"

2 Corinthians 1:9

Truth

"And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."

John 1:14

Longsuffering

"Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?"

Romans 2:4

Justice

"Justice and judgment are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face."

Psalm 89:14

Righteousness

"For the righteous Lord loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright."

1 Peter 1:4

Resurrection

"Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:"

John 11:25

Holy

"Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest."

Revelation 15:4

And I know there's so many more than that of course. I could go on and on but that's enough for today:-)

Praise God for all these words and what they mean. After man sinned in the Garden, things were bad and we don't deserve to live but there is great hope offered to us through the redemption in His Son.

"In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;"

Ephesians 1:7

Not to be one sided of course, there are words to warn us and that show of what is true if we are outside of God or living in sin. Words like wrath, judgement, destruction, punish, death, evil, sin, darkness, hell which are all just as important and true as the rest and we do well to examine our lives and see who we really are. Of course we must consider those words and their meanings too lest we only have half truth which is very dangerous indeed.

You can test your life against the biblical gospel here

OK sisters. Let us rejoice in the Lord for all He has done for us. We deserved nothing but the worst punishment and yet we can get to be with the Father because of His Son for all eternity with all His holy saints if we endure!

And we can say this....

"The Lord hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad."

Psalm 126:3

Amen!

We praise Him for His truth which sets us free and for the hope of salvation to come!

Glory to God!

Hope Maketh Not Ashamed

Greetings sisters!

I hope you are well in the Lord today.

Today I wanted to share some scriptures to encourage us all in the great hope we can have in God and in Christ and of deliverance from the wrath to come. And indeed eternal life! We can trust all His promises! Praise Him!

I was reading this scripture this morning and it got me started on this subject.

"Uphold me according unto thy word, that I may live: and let me not be ashamed of my hope. Hold thou me up, and I shall be safe: and I will have respect unto thy statutes continually."

Psalm 119:116-117

And that verse reminded me of this kind of similar one.

"And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us."

Romans 5:3-5

And I know we can have such a bright hope in Christ. Of course we have to do our part and come through the gospel of faith in Him, repenting, being born by His Spirit, obeying Him in a holy life lived and endure all the way to the end.

We can have confidence in God and not be ashamed!

"For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day."

2 Timothy 1:12

And so I share a few of the many verses about hope. You can do your own study on it but it is very uplifting for sure. I hope all these can edify and encourage you sisters!

"And now, Lord, what wait I for? my hope is in thee."

Psalm 39:7

There's so much about our hope being in God. So many put hope in many different things; a man in politics, in themselves to win or to look good, in freedom, in a better life here, and much more but ours must be in God Himself.

"Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord."

Psalm 31:24

"But I will hope continually, and will yet praise thee more and more."

Psalm 71:14

"Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God."

Psalm 43:5

(And thank you sister on the other side of the world for the pic of God's scenery:-)

That's a great thought in that Psalm, the Lord taking pleasure in those that fear Him. And then there is an opposite side to that of course.

"The face of the Lord is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth."

Psalm 34:16

They don't have hope unless they repent...which God wants them to and so do we.

"Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life."

Proverbs 13:12

Sisters, we know we can trust God. Humans fail but not God!

"Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;"

Romans 12:12

I like that. Rejoice in hope! Let us sisters do so!

"We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you, Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have to all the saints, For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;"

Colossians 1:3-5

"Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;"

Titus 2:13

"But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:"

1 Peter 3:15

"And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure."

1 John 3:3

"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek."

Romans 1:16

We are not hopeless; therefore we are not ashamed!

And like brother Paul, we may end up in chains for this hope we have...

"For this cause therefore have I called for you, to see you, and to speak with you : because that for the hope of Israel I am bound with this chain."

Acts 28:20

But because we have such a hope we press on in faith of God who promised all these things and He cannot lie! I'm grateful to have such a hope...and it is available to all who will come.

Alright sisters! I hope those could bless you. I'll leave you to your thoughts on hope...and Lord willing be back again tomorrow.

"That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;"

Hebrews 6:18-19

Amen!

Love in Christ, our great hope

...from a daughter of God

See the biblical gospel here as we must come the right way or we are utterly hopeless.
