I get to be here again and share a little edifying from the Lord's Word. His Word feeds us and we need His ways to guide us.
The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.Psalm 12:6
Thy word is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it.Psalm 119:140
Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.Proverbs 30:5
For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
Romans 15:4
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
2 Timothy 3:16-17
I'm really glad and thankful to have His Word in a world where the truth is mixed up.
Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!Isaiah 5:20-21
The Lord is so longsuffering but He is coming back in judgement. This world is so evil and cruel. But may we who know the truth walk in His goodness and mercy and love.
Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
Colossians 3:12-15
Wouldn't it be wonderful if all people walked in these beautiful ways! But that will not be until the new heaven and earth where righteousness dwells. Hold fast and keep striving for the truth and light! Love unto you in Jesus Christ who first loved us.
