Today's Edification (31 May 2026)

Greetings sister saints!

I hope this finds you well and holding fast in the faith of Christ!

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
3 John 1:2

Today is the end of another month so that means a picture catch up post from me here then too! Just dropping pictures I snap during the month of various things I see and get to do and His creations. Mostly garden pictures I think! It's a blessing to have one to work in!

It's refreshing (and rewarding) seeing green growing things!

And hopeful of a harvest ahead!

And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
Genesis 1:11-12

And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.
Genesis 1:29-30

Little makeshift greenhouse I made. We only get a few mild frosts here so maybe tomatoes and potatoes will survive in there, but let's see.

Time to pull up old plants. Just reminds me of the cycles in life.

A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
Ecclesiastes 3:2
May we be ready for our physical end too and right with God.

Good blessings stored up for however long they last!

It can be nice going for a walk after heavy dew or drizzle and seeing sparkly things. So many spider webs appear when you wouldn't know they were there before. Amazing creations really!

There's been quite a bit of fog here lately. It was quite unique working in the garden one morning when it was thick.

I have all the nets over the brassicas to keep out the cabbage white butterflies.

Mushroom season is here. Lots of different varieties He made!

Sourdough baking...

It's quite interesting really. So many different creatures God made, great and small!

New little calf is here...

I get to spend a reasonable amount of time with one of my nieces (one year old). The little ones are just heartwarming and so precious:) She really loves flowers, butterflies, ladybugs, and such things:)

It can be quite satisfying getting things cleaner.

(Pretty autumn leaves view from one of my cleaning jobs.)

We have so many blessings to thank the Lord for! We want to be content and thankful don't we. We are richly blessed by God!

Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God:

Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever:

Which executeth judgment for the oppressed: which giveth food to the hungry. The LORD looseth the prisoners:

The LORD openeth the eyes of the blind: the LORD raiseth them that are bowed down: the LORD loveth the righteous:

The LORD preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.

The LORD shall reign for ever, even thy God, O Zion, unto all generations. Praise ye the LORD.

Psalm 146:5-10

Hold fast to the truth sisters, and keep being faithful where the Lord has you!

Love, mercy, and peace unto you in Jesus' name.
