Today's Encouragement (29 September 2023)

Greetings sisters!

God granted us a new day to be obedient servants of His and choose Him on this new day!

Seek ye the Lord, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the Lord's anger.
Zephaniah 2:3

And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.

And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,

And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.
Genesis 1:16-18

For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.
Isaiah 61:11

May He be glorified in all things!

You can find a teaching on meekness here. It really helped me to understand what it is biblically. It, along with many other biblical words and commands, is often misunderstood or twisted in meaning. We want to study all His Word and understand what everything really means biblically.

Let us sisters be that! It is of great price to God! He is who we want to please and not man!

Amen let us look past all this world and to where our true treasures are and our eternal life with the Lord if we endure! (Thank you sisters for the picture:-)

Keep overcoming sisters! We know those who make it will have had to press right through everything to the end. But He makes a way and makes us able to do so! And we work with Him doing our side of the covenant. Strive on sister soldiers!

Today's Encouragement (28 September 2023)

Salutations to my sister saints!

Here's another day in the Lord! Let us remember all our blessings and be thankful and not take all we have for granted. We know the concept of things being taken away from us or losing something. So too we need to hold fast to our faith lest we lose it and the hope of our salvation.

Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;
Hebrews 3:12-14

Let us take heed to these things and not neglect so great salvation.

We love to walk in the truth, don't we sisters. And that means...hating lies and fleeing from false ways too.

Therefore I love thy commandments above gold; yea, above fine gold. Therefore I esteem all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; and I hate every false way.
Psalm 119:127-128

Today's Encouragement (27 September 2023)

Greetings sister saints!

Hopefully you're pressing on in the Lord on this day!

I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 3:14

You can check out yesterday's edification from the daily saints' gathering here. I'm thankful for saints that love the Lord and His Word and know that living for Christ is our daily life and not a once a week religious action that we do.

And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.
Acts 5:42

Therefore disputed he in the synagogue with the Jews, and with the devout persons, and in the market daily with them that met with him.
Acts 17:17

These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
Acts 17:11

Our whole life is to be seeking the kingdom of God and His righteousness first. And we are to love the Lord our God with our whole being. There are indeed very many actions we need to do in this faith life and it's not a 'sit back and relax' life but we have to constantly press onwards and overcome the flesh by walking in the Spirit. We don't want to become lukewarm or lose our first love.

Sewing day for me...

Thankful to labour in needed things such as food and clothing are.

But godliness with contentment is great gain.
For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
1 Timothy 6:6-8

And yet we have so much more than that so we do need to be careful not to be entangled with the comforts and ease of this life. Compared to many on the earth we have many 'riches' but we want to hold them all so loosely that we don't care if they get taken away. But we also want to be thankful with what we have and use them for God's glory and to further the kingdom and bless and edify others.

Today's Encouragement (26 September 2023)

Hello sisters!

I hope you're doing well...holding fast in the true faith.

Let us remember who are the Lord's true brethren...

While he yet talked to the people, behold, his mother and his brethren stood without, desiring to speak with him.
Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee.
But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren?
And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!
For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.
Matthew 12:46-50

Let us obey His Word which we know is His will for us.

Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
Ephesians 5:17

People may say, "oh you're too narrow minded"...but we know there is only one truth. Jesus is the truth and only way and we must follow Him and walk in His truth...not lies from the enemy.

Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Matthew 7:14

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
John 14:6

Every day is a good day though when we are serving the Lord with our focus on Him!

Titus 2...

Using up leftover cooked beetroot...

To make chocolate cakes...

And using up leftover mashed potatoes to make fish cakes...

We don't want anything to go to waste. There's many areas in life to be faithful and good stewards in but most importantly in the faith life. And it reminds me also of redeeming something from destruction or being useless like too old food is in the physical (Christ redeemed us!). Many lessons or concepts we can take from life or nature. I also think of Jesus commanding the fragments of the food

to be gathered up after He worked a miracle to feed thousands of people.

And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would.

When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost.

Therefore they gathered them together, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained over and above unto them that had eaten.
John 6:11-13

Many blessings...His Word, creation, and saints. We serve a merciful God when we do not deserve anything but death. Let us serve Him with thankful humble hearts!

Today's Encouragement (25 September 2023)

Greetings sisters!

I hope you're enduring today and are holding fast to the truth! What a blessing we have to choose to serve Him and grow and have the hope to come of salvation!

Many things we learn in this faith life comes through experience. We may read something or be taught something but until you experience many different things in this life you can't learn as much.

But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
Hebrews 5:14

We have to make good discernments in many different situations in life that scripture doesn't directly address. But we have so many commands so we can make wise, right, and godly decisions in all things. I'm thankful for His Word of truth to direct us and so we may be pleasing to Him!

I'm sharing some scriptures on 'holy' along with some peaceful creations from my day.

Exalt ye the Lord our God, and worship at his footstool; for he is holy.
Psalm 99:5

Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
2 Peter 3:11

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
Romans 12:1

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
1 Peter 2:9

Let us keep striving to be holy as He is holy.

Today's Encouragement (24 September 2023)

Greetings godly sisters!

I hope today you're strong in the Lord and thankful to be a godly woman!

I will go in the strength of the Lord God: I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only.
Psalm 71:16

So many things to remember about our Lord. We know He is holy and righteous and just and almighty. We cannot make up our own ideas or just accept part of who He is. He is God and made us and gave us His Word and what He wanted us to know about Him. And we believe Him by faith and be content to know what He has revealed to us.

I hope your day has been fruitful in the Lord. Each day we all get the same amount of time and we want to redeem it the best we can for Him and doing the best with the situation He has for us.

Finished sewing a skirt...

Thankful for food and raiment we are. And we have many physical blessings besides those, let alone all the more important spiritual blessings in Christ if we are in Him!

We all went to hold signs and hand out gospel cards at a busy place near a shopping mall...

Many gospel cards went out and some conversations were had.

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
Mark 16:15

Such a dark and hopeless world without Christ...but it's a great blessing to be able to offer the only hope to the world!

He indeed is a great God to help and deliver us and set us free!

Our God is mighty! We are on His side and if we stay near Him we do not need to fear!

Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.

We have better things to come sisters! Let us press on doing the will of God today and striving to endure unto the end! Hold fast sisters!

Today's Encouragement (23 September 2023)

Greetings sisters!

I hope you are holding fast to the truth on this day! We know we have to endure until the end (Christ's return) or our end (death) to be saved. We know each day counts and we never want to be caught off guard as we sure don't know when we will be standing before our Judge.

And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
Luke 21:34-36

And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.
Acts 10:42

Next Revelation chapter to edify...

God is good to show us the beginning and what is to come. And everything we need to know in between and how He sent His Son to make a way to Him after man sinned. Let us treasure His Word.

(Thank you sisters for the picture:-) We are blessed to have His Word to know the power of our great God! He alone can calm the storms. So strengthening to know we can look to Him through any storm and be strong in faith not looking at what is going on around us.

And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.
But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.
And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?

I'm sure my sisters are keeping busy in Titus 2, Proverbs 31, ministry works and any other good works that are our duties in serving Him!

Today's Encouragement (22 September 2023)

Hello to my sisters in the Lord!

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
1 Peter 1:3-4

That's awesome! What precious promises.

(Thank you sisters for the picture:-) There is much to rejoice in in the Lord! Outside of Him is only hopelessness and despair and even if there is some kind of 'happiness' it is temporal and empty.

I share some more scriptures on joy and rejoicing...

Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake. Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets.
Luke 6:22-23

Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:
1 Peter 1:8

Our joy is in and because of Him, our Lord and Saviour and merciful God!

I'm sharing a witnessing audio from today that my sister had...

Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.
If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:
For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.
2 John 1:9-11

We just stepped out the house door to go on our walk and there were two women bringing false doctrine. It reminded me that you have to keep on your armour at all times but especially when leaving the house. And we two sisters are training up to be ready to give an answer and contend for the faith once delivered. We saints have to be on guard for many things at all times.

Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
2 Timothy 4:2-5

It surely is a perilous time that we live in. Horrendous amounts of deception, blindness, darkness and hard hearts turned over by God.

But we get to shine our lights and the hope of Christ in the midst of it all!

Hold fast sisters and let us be faithful servants in all things.

His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
Matthew 25:23

Today's Encouragement (21 September 2023)

Greetings sisters!

Amen He is worthy of praise always and forever!

A sister sent that picture above of her sunrise. And I sent one back of my morning light (one time zone away). It's such a huge earth with the sun rising somewhere around the earth and setting somewhere at all times!

I hope my sisters are striving on! I know the ones I communicate with daily are! That is always such a joy to know!

Titus 2 works...

God is good to bless us with many good foods. We do not deserve them or anything but we are thankful.

(avocados for the freezer)

My sister and I usually go on two walks a day with the children. And being in a city there are usually people around and so that means opportunities for the gospel to go out!

There's always training up for ministry going on.

For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
Ephesians 4:12

Next chapter in Revelation reading to edify...

Came across this scripture so I'm sharing it along with some thoughts..

Woe to the rebellious children, saith the Lord, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin: That walk to go down into Egypt, and have not asked at my mouth; to strengthen themselves in the strength of Pharaoh, and to trust in the shadow of Egypt!
Isaiah 30:1-2

We have all left our 'Egypt' haven't we sisters...our old life of bondage. We sure don't want to be thinking of anything 'better' we may have had in the flesh back then at all!

And the mixt multitude that was among them fell a lusting: and the children of Israel also wept again, and said, Who shall give us flesh to eat? We remember the fish, which we did eat in Egypt freely; the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlick:
Numbers 11:4-5

This grieves the Lord. We have these examples so we know how to live to please our Lord and crucify the flesh.

Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.
1 Corinthians 10:6

I myself am so glad to be set free from my 'Egypt'. Praise God and of course we know to expect trials in this life in Christ! He told us to rejoice in them all! We sisters don't live for an easy life down here with many treasures. If we overcome down here then we have eternal treasures in heaven with the Lord!

Keep pressing on sisters and may the Lord be our strength and joy!

Today's Encouragement (20 September 2023)

Hello sisters!

I'm hoping you're all holding fast on this day.

I hope this scripture isn't the case with anyone reading here...

For I fear, lest, when I come, I shall not find you such as I would, and that I shall be found unto you such as ye would not: lest there be debates, envyings, wraths, strifes, backbitings, whisperings, swellings, tumults: And lest, when I come again, my God will humble me among you, and that I shall bewail many which have sinned already, and have not repented of the uncleanness and fornication and lasciviousness which they have committed.
2 Corinthians 12:20-21

God knows and sees all things. Let us search our hearts and be on the guard for deception and blindness or darkness.

Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.
For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward;
How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;
Hebrews 2:1-3

Super cold day today for our walks but still pretty flowers to see...

And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
Matthew 6:28-30

Thank you sister for this...

It is a blessing to have godly sisters! We know how few there are that find the narrow road. Let us keep following after Christ no matter how few are and even if it had to be completely alone. He is worthy!
