Today's Encouragement (30 September 2022)

Hello sisters!

I am a companion of all them that fear thee, and of them that keep thy precepts.

Psalm 119:63

I love that scripture and amen to it as it's such a precious thing to know of others fearing God and loving and obeying Him. I appreciate my sister saints greatly!

Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble. Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:

1 Peter 5:5-6

Another day of much garden work for me...

It's such a blessing to be able to grow food from the soil! A lot of work but food is an important part of life so it's not laboring in vain!

In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

Genesis 3:19

A little sewing project I was doing today...

All those fabric scraps and more got stuffed inside to make this...

It just helps with pressing seams when sewing and will be a good help as I sew more shirts to come, Lord willing.

I had made another one earlier and it really helped...

A great way to use up fabric scraps too! I have a lot of scraps for sure after all the sewing I have done.

God provided our daily bread again...

He is good and merciful!

As soon then as they were come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid thereon, and bread.

Jesus saith unto them, Bring of the fish which ye have now caught.

Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land full of great fishes, an hundred and fifty and three: and for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken.

Jesus saith unto them, Come and dine. And none of the disciples durst ask him, Who art thou? knowing that it was the Lord.

Jesus then cometh, and taketh bread, and giveth them, and fish likewise.
John 21:9-13

Well I hope my sisters are all striving on in the truth. It's so good to keep going to His Word and being reminded of the truth isn't it sisters. We may hear so many false things around us in this world...but the Lord is our strength. We're blessed to have His written word to us.

Lord willing I will be back here tomorrow. Hold fast sister saints!

Peace be with you all that are in Christ Jesus. Amen.

1 Peter 5:14

Today's Encouragement (29 September 2022)

Greetings sisters!

Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.

2 John 1:3

Nice to come back here and share a little encouragement for my sisters! Hope you're going well wherever you are!

I share this scripture...

And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.

For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?

For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels.

Luke 9:23-26

Deep and serious words from our Saviour which we want to heed don't we. And good to remember daily about denying ourselves and taking up our cross and following after Him.

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

John 10:27

And more here about the urgency and importance of following Him compared with anything or anyone here...

And he said unto another, Follow me. But he said, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father.

Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God.

And another also said, Lord, I will follow thee; but let me first go bid them farewell, which are at home at my house.

And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.

Luke 9:59-62

Just some encouragement for us sisters to keep pressing on after Him! We ought not to think in our flesh about hurting people's feelings because of our following after our Saviour in obedience. We know He is first and if we love Him we obey Him. We sisters may face such occasions where we don't participate in something unbiblical that we may have used to and those scriptures definitely are encouraging aren't they! We shouldn't be concerned about what people think of us but we should be fixed on following our Saviour and pleasing Him.

My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me.

Psalm 63:8

Amen...let's keep doing that sisters! He is worthy!

Pretty spring days continue here...

Glory to God...how beautiful!

God's created world is amazing! And yet many say there is no God!

But the Lord is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation.

Thus shall ye say unto them, The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, even they shall perish from the earth, and from under these heavens.

He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion.

Jeremiah 10:10-12

But we are joyous to get to know and serve Him!

Hold fast sister saints! Lord willing I will be back here tomorrow. I hope your day in your good Titus 2 works goes well and that you're strong in the faith.

Love in Christ,

Sister Michaela

Today's Encouragement (28 September 2022)

Greetings sister saints!

Hoping you're doing well in the Lord on this day.

Saw this scripture and it made me so thankful for what we have in Christ our Saviour...

And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

Hebrews 10:11-12

He is a mighty Saviour and has set us free from so much!

And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

Matthew 1:21

When we read the Old Testament we see all the great things they had to go through to obey God...but now we get to follow after our Saviour who makes the way for us and set us free and we worship in spirit and truth!

And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;

Hebrews 5:9

Thank you sister for your love in sending me these scripture picture gifts:-) 😊 I love them all and my sisters!

That's a comforting one, isn't it!

He is worthy of them!

That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the Lord, and there is none else.
Isaiah 45:6

And even more scriptures to edify us...

His Word is good and we can never get enough!

Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

Psalm 119:11

I've had another busy and fruitful day...with garden work, animal care, and housework etc. I'm thankful I get to work with my hands and be a godly woman. I'm sure you sisters are so thankful for many things too! We don't want to complain about anything do we...that isn't pleasing to the Lord is it!

Well I'll go...but Lord willing be back tomorrow. Hold fast sisters!

Love to you all!

Today's Encouragement (27 September 2022)

Greetings sister saints!

Here's a new day for us! ⛅☀☁ How is yours going? Mine is going well in all kinds of work! God's many mercies are new every day! He is so good to us all!

Rejoice the soul of thy servant: for unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul. For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.

Psalm 86:4-5

How wonderful is that. Let us humbly serve Him sisters!

I'm sharing some various pictures from my day. It was a beautiful spring one! Praise God!

And I share some verses on thankfulness as I was thinking about that today...so very much to be thankful for!

O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.

1 Chronicles 16:34

But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 15:57

Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
Ephesians 5:20

Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.
Colossians 2:7

Rejoice in the Lord, ye righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.
Psalm 97:12
Let us be thankful sister saints!

It was a good day to work in the garden...

And gather more blessings...

I thought these icicles on something from in the fridge looked cute...

Amazing how God created water to be that way!

A satisfying sight...my sewing ready to be shipped off...

...with the priceless gift of the gospel too!

Praise God for so many blessings He gives!

And I add this scripture to the ones I shared on thankfulness earlier...thankfulness for the brethren, yes! I am...I greatly appreciate my godly sisters! And together we all desire to be pleasing to the Lord and be constantly refined and growing in the Lord!

We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth;

2 Thessalonians 1:3

Amen!

Lord willing I will be back here tomorrow. Hold fast in the Lord sisters, as good soldiers of His enduring hardness!

Today's Encouragement (26 September 2022)

Hello sister saints!

Glad for a new day in the Lord! I hope each of my sisters are striving on strong and courageous in the faith of Christ!

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Galatians 2:20

I finally got a large sewing order all finished and ready to be shipped off!

Five tiered skirts and five headcoverings

Satisfying to be done! Praise God! It's such a blessing to sew biblical clothing. I appreciate the opportunity the Lord has given me to do so and I hope others are blessed!

I was just thinking the other day how thankful I am to be sewing with simple shamefaced colours now and not having to deal with people asking me to find something out of the hundreds and thousands of fabric prints and patterns available out there. I've been there, done that. But it's so freeing now! It truly is...we can get on with more important things in life than worrying about getting our clothes just right. We do it to obey the Lord of course but I was thinking I was extra thankful for that!

Cute little baby birds in the nest I saw today...

So amazing how God created the birds to build nests and how they know how to do it all!

For thus saith the Lord that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the Lord; and there is none else.

Isaiah 45:18

Pretty spring grasses and flowers all around too...

Glory to God!

And thank you sister for the scriptures today...

We're so blessed to have the written Word of God aren't we! And I'm thankful.

Time for me to go but I hope all my sisters, few though you may be, are strong and not growing weary in anything! Hold fast! With the Lord there is more power on our side than the whole world! Christ is coming back victorious soon sisters!

Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.

2 Thessalonians 2:16-17

Love in Christ,

Today's Encouragement (25 September 2022)

Greetings sisters!

I'm back briefly after another full day of sewing. But I still want to drop by here and send some encouragement and cheer my sisters on in the Lord!

For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

Philippians 3:20-21

We look forward to that day don't we sisters! But for now we have some reasonable service to do serving the One who did so much for us!

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

Romans 12:1

I love the phrase "He hath done all things well" from this scripture and amen He has...in everything!

And were beyond measure astonished, saying, He hath done all things well: he maketh both the deaf to hear, and the dumb to speak.
Mark 7:37

The main fruit of my day...

And God provided daily bread for me to cook and eat....

I'm thankful and I know my sisters are too for what the Lord blesses you with! I know we see the value in what many take for granted and know they are blessings from God. He is too good to us all!

Thank you sister for the scriptures...

Great scriptures from our great God whose ways are good! And my sisters are greatly encouraging to me too!

Well I must go and keep going on my work here but I hope my sisters are striving on and laying up treasures in heaven! Hold fast and keep fighting the good fight of faith sisters!

Today's Encouragement (24 September 2022)

Hello sisters!

A new day...and I'm popping in again. Hoping your life is going along well in Christ!

Sharing a few creation pictures...

Cute little mushroom colony or whatever it's called.

And pretty raindrops too..

So much beauty in it all which is evidence of the Creator behind it all!

Got a lot of sewing done today for which I'm thankful...
Praise God for giving us the ability to do all that we can! Amen sisters?! And I'm sure you're working diligently in your works with the ability and provisions He gave you!

I read Philippians 2 to edify and encourage us sisters today...

God's Word is good!

And thank you sister for sharing these...

Amen sisters...let's always remember that our great God and Saviour is so worthy of everything and we are to be ready to give our lives for Him!

I must go but I hope all my sisters are following hard after our Saviour and not letting anything or anyone hinder us in that! Let's keep pressing on and striving to walk worthy of God!

Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: For our God is a consuming fire.

Hebrews 12:28-29

Today's Encouragement (23 September 2022)

Greetings sister saints!

Hope your day with all of your Titus 2 works has been going well!

Mine has been a busy one, settling back to work here.

Nice cool day to work in the garden...

And gather some of the Lord's provisions that grew from the soil...

And prepare them to be eaten...
...and to be thankful for!

And some sewing went on too...

I'm so glad to have many good things to do! Praise God! And I'm sure you sisters are too and to be set free from any bad works and such!

And I share a few more scriptures...

And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.

Acts 2:42-43

I love thinking about all that!

That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us: For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

Acts 17:27-28

And that's a great one too...God being not far from us. And remembering that in Him we live and move and have our being. Our lives are all because of Him and to be lived for Him.

And thank you sister for sharing these scriptures too...

Amen and we want to submit to His will too!

That's like my godly sisters too, busy and diligent in good works!

God is so merciful and longsuffering wanting all to come to repentance isn't He.

Well sisters I must go and finish off the rest of my day with a bit more work. I hope you're overcoming and pressing on no matter what! Be strong in the Lord, sisters!

And I leave you with this scripture that came to mind this morning and it's a great one as well! Hold fast sisters!

Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

Luke 12:32

Love in Christ,
