Good day all my sisters!

Hope your day is good! How fast time goes by doesn't it sisters. August is about over, and winter is over here (and summer up north where some of you sisters are). We know this life is so short and so are we redeeming every moment?

I have had a super busy day for the most part so I have a few bits and pieces to share to edify you sister saints. What a blessing to have another day to do so!

Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

Matthew 5:3-5

Amen sisters...that's uplifting. And it isn't who the world says is blessed is it.

Another cute lil lambie to feed...

I had to go into town on a quick errand for the family so enjoyed seeing all the grain and canola crops on the drive. All so pretty and amazing creations for the food of man. And the Lord is good to send the rain on those who hate Him too.

But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
Matthew 5:44-45

Thank you sister for adding these scriptures.

Amen sisters, let us do our good works unto the Lord and to glorify Him!

Praise God for that!

Another sister showed this lovely picture she made from one of my pictures on the blog here.

Praise God for sisters sharing and for His creation and Word and everything else!

For ye had compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that ye have in heaven a better and an enduring substance.

Hebrews 10:34

Amen a better and an enduring substance! Let us live for that life sisters!

Simple pleasure of picking lemons...

Such blessings!

And a blessing of veggies for a soup...

I made some lemons into chia pudding. If any of you sisters are looking to save time and still make a healthy food/treat...I recommend chia puddings. I don't have the time for cooking/making anything extra that takes too much time so these are awesome. One sister makes them in van life so they must be relatively simple. Of course some kinds take longer and are more work but there are plenty of simple kinds.

Praise the Lord for all the great variety of foods to choose from! We are richly blessed in that area. Glory to Him for it all!

I know we sisters may share this scripture often but do you ever tire of it? No!

Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.

Hebrews 12:1-3

Praise God for His Word! It is so strengthening and gives us all we need to press through in this life in Christ!

OK sister saints! I've got to go now!

Strive on!

Hold fast!

Endure!

Be patient!

Overcome!

Be strong!

Rejoice!

And...

Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.

1 John 3:13

Christ is worthy!

But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer. And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.

1 Peter 4:7-8

Greetings sister saints!

I hope your life in Christ is strong and you are pressing on one more day!

I have a few bits and pieces of things to share. The Lord is keeping me very busy which is great and you really learn how to manage your time better etc. I'm sure you all know about that. And we can only do what we can and be content with that. Rejoice to work for Him and serve Him daily!

I was blessed to start my day with listening to a sister read scriptures. What a blessing to all share in whatever way we can, centred around our love for the Lord!

I read 1 Peter 1 to edify you sisters. Praise God for His Word!

I saw this potato in the garden. Out of perhaps hundreds of potatoes that died in the frost there was this one standing next to others that had died. Of course you know what lessons we could take and be encouraged by that in our spiritual lives.

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Ephesians 6:10-11

We all see this one happening don't we sisters.

Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.

He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.

Matthew 10:34-39

Yes it would be easier in our flesh to just get along with everyone but no Christ wants His people to be His and live holy lives. Obviously this causes a seperation of heart and in person in many cases (except in the case of people you need to live with spouse/family). Of course we are to live peaceably with others if possible but not to the point of sin and compromise ourselves. Let us remember we are Christ's first!

Pretty flower creations...

And here's some good food to share with you sisters...

And the next days' produce blessings from the Father stored up...

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Matthew 6:33

Thank you sister for these scripture pictures.

Let us do so sisters, keeping His commandments. And what a great hope if we endure!

That's a tiny flower picture I sent to the sister and she sent it back with the verse. What a mighty great God we serve sisters!

And I also share some scriptures shared between sisters...

So I hope this blessed and edified you; a simple post from a simple life in the Lord. We have such a simplicity in Christ don't we sisters with freedom from many of the things of this world and definitely freedom from false ways and sins that bring bondage. Let us rejoice for the true and eternal riches we have sisters!

Until tomorrow sisters! Love God with all that you are!

Love in Christ to you all,

...from one of God's daughters

His Witnesses

Greetings sisters!

Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.

2 John 1:3

I hope and pray all my sisters are striving on and overcoming and growing in the things of God. What a great hope we have in our Saviour! And what a blessing we get to be daughters of the Most High God!

I have had a very busy day labouring in the things of God and encouraging some of you sister saints. What a blessed life we get to live in Christ. It only makes me more and more to see the empty life of those around me. It all seems so dead and futile what they are living for and valuing. And it is. And then I can feel sad for them because they don't know what they are missing out on. But I guess for them that is what they find pleasure in but it won't be without consequences. It takes the gospel with a willing repentant heart and the Holy Spirit to open blind eyes. We all were once there in blindness. But now we can shine our lights and be His witnesses to a deceived, lost, and dying world. What a precious job that is really sisters. Let us not take it lightly.

Today I was reading some scriptures and then was thinking about how the early disciples and apostles had seen the Lord Jesus Himself. So I thought it would be encouraging to share some scriptures about witnesses. We know they were eye witnesses to our Saviour and so we believe what they have written.

I just want to say that we women need to make sure we aren't listening to those deceptions that have crept in ever since then. And we know it has got really bad don't we sisters. We do not want to be deceived...like Eve was. So let these scriptures I share encourage us to cling to God's Word rather than anything deceived or false teachers are saying today. With many thousands of denominations and opinions it is evident deception abounds. Test all things precious sisters and be on guard!

So let us women be bright shining lights for Christ. No we haven't seen Him in the flesh but by faith in Him we go on to live holy lives and He gives us of His Spirit. We do see the great boldness of the first Christians knowing what they believed. They had seen the risen Saviour face to face! And we, even though we have not seen, we know in whom we believe by faith and can have that boldness too! And so we go on to make His gospel known. And even as women we have a great part in that...we all do. As I wrote about a few days earlier, we really do have great treasures in Him!

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Acts 1:8

I love seeing the great boldness here. And we can have that too sisters!

And they called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus. But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye. For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.

Acts 4:18-20

So we too ought not to let anyone silence us! Shine that light sisters and be prepared with the gospel and an answer for the hope we have in Christ!

And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.

Acts 4:33

And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.

Acts 5:32

Came unto me, and stood, and said unto me, Brother Saul, receive thy sight. And the same hour I looked up upon him.

And he said, The God of our fathers hath chosen thee, that thou shouldest know his will, and see that Just One, and shouldest hear the voice of his mouth.

For thou shalt be his witness unto all men of what thou hast seen and heard.

And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

Acts 22:13-16

Moreover I will endeavour that ye may be able after my decease to have these things always in remembrance.

For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.

For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount.

We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:

Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.

For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

2 Peter 1:15-21

Let us sisters take heed to His Word in all areas of our lives.

That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;

(For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)

That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.

1 John 1:1-3

Praise God!

I hope all those were encouraging! They were to me. But I'm going to tie that right down to today sisters and let us cling to God's Word which He gave to these faithful witnesses and let us not listen to liers and deceivers of our dark and perilous days. We know they abound. God's Word is true! And He had faithful witnesses! And we can bear witness to the truh today!

So I shall go now sisters but I will leave you with this scripture. Stand fast in truth sisters! Don't let anyone sway you!

Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.

Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,

Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.

2 Thessalonians 2:15-17

Love to you sisters who love the Lord,

Choose Life!

Good day sister saints!

How's things in your life sisters?!

Praise God that we each choose to seek after life in Christ. Indeed if we are new creations in Him striving in holiness and obedience we have the hope of eternal life! What a joy that is. We know sin leads to death sisters and we don't want to dwell in any sin. Praise God for His Word, and we shall see what He wants from us if we diligently study it.

I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

That thou mayest love the Lord thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the Lord sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.

Deuteronomy 30:19-20

I read this verse this morning so I wanted to share some similar things on how blessed we are to have life! Let us rejoice together in that!

This goes along with how rich we are really in Christ who is our life.

Sometimes I don't have many words of my own here and I'm joyous to communicate directly with some of you so I hope these scriptures I share are encouraging and they are certainly edifying. We are to do all things unto edifying and make sure all our words are pleasing to the Lord. So with His precious Word you know it is going to be all of that.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.

John 5:24-25

And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

John 6:35

That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 5:21

Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Romans 6:4

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 6:23

But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:

2 Timothy 1:10

Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Matthew 7:14

We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.

1 John 3:14

Sisters, we don't want to abide in death do we! We know that if we keep sinning in something we know is sin that it will lead to our death. But with the power of God we strive to leave sin.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.

John 8:51

What an amazing hope we have in Christ! We have been made alive from the dead! And we have hope of eternal life if we endure. How thankful we ought to be considering we deserve death. Rejoice sisters and let us serve this mighty Saviour who made the way for us to have this life!

I like this picture I took today with the spring leaves on the tree. It reminds me of life.

Well I shall go now sister saints! Let us choose the narrow road which leads to life! What a blessed and glorious hope we have in Christ!

Lord willing I shall be back tomorrow.

And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.

Revelation 21:27

Our True Treasures

Greetings sisters!

How are you all?

Let's rejoice together in all the riches we have in Christ. We have so much really don't we! Let's be so faithful with what we have been given.

Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

Ephesians 3:8-9

What a joy to edify and encourage one another in whatever way the Lord allows us to each day! Let us rejoice in this moment we have and strive to live it the best we can for the Lord. It is a real treasure to know of other believers striving on where they are!

This one's interesting to think about...

As for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison. Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.

Acts 8:3-4

So we see that persecution and being scattered to proclaim the good news of Christ is a good thing. Yes it would be nice to gather and fellowship in the flesh but God certainly wants us to shine our lights and proclaim the gospel right where we are too. You have to trust that God will lead and guide you in your life and for sure He can bring others into your life to fellowship with. But let us look to Him and not miss what He has for us to do right where we are.

A sister and I were talking a bit about riches and where we want ours to be...

So I wanted to read you some more scriptures on similar subjects...

We sisters don't treasure the things of this world (like perhaps we did once); money, possessions, fame, books, entertainment, music, clothing, careers, our looks, etc. No we see and lay hold upon the true riches and we know we have our true treasure in heaven!

But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

1 Timothy 6:11-12

And it's such a blessing and treasure also to know some of you sisters and together press each other on to things above! Praise the Lord!

(Thank you sister for that scripture picture.)

Check out the lizard sunning himself on the fence post...funny things...

One of God's great variety in His creations.

And...well...a frost got the potatoes in the garden...

Oh well, praise God for all the many other things we get to grow and eat! We are richly blessed with good foods and plenty of it!

I was cold working in my room today so I went and sat in the sun and worked on my blog post for awhile:-) Praise God for the warmth of the sun!

Then I had to go pick up some family members from their work...so I just had to stop and see this awesome scene again.

Praise God for creating such an awesome earth! And that He allows man to grow plants for food

A beautiful tree in the supermarket car park...

Just growing and doing what it does where it's been planted as the world goes by around it.

We sisters see all the people around us like when we are in the world and we can only do so much because we cannot reach everyone with the gospel (and neither will most listen). But we do have to be faithful in what we have been given.

The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe.

Proverbs 29:25

I love that scripture! There is some kind of scripture for every situation isn't there!

And that's exactly what I was thinking I have been in my past in being quiet and shy...in a snare. It really is fear of man that. I'm sure we all have it in varying degrees and at times but I think that is an awesome verse to remember in situations when we find ourselves fearing man or a certain situation. Whether we face words and comments for our godly lives, or we just feel strange wearing our biblical clothing and headcovering, or not participating in some event, these are all from the fear of man. We have this flesh to fight but it is for the most worthy cause in the universe and that is to be pleasing to the Creator of the universe. He made it all and He made us and we are His creatures! Let us live to please Him alone! I know it is often easier said than done but it is what we who love the Lord are always striving for. He is worthy! He sent His Son into a wicked world to save those who would obey Him and deny themselves.

So sisters let us remember what great riches we have in Christ and lay up treasures in heaven!

That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ; In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

Colossians 2:2-3

Love to you all!

Strive on sister soldiers!

26 August 2021

Greetings godly sisters!

O Lord, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.

Isaiah 25:1

Let us glorify and worship this great God, Creator of heaven and earth!

He is worthy!

I'm glad I have another day to communicate with my sisters and also share a few things here to edify us all in the things of God! The thing in your life that you love the most, well you will spend more time devoted to that obviously! So for us sisters that is the Lord and living to obey Him. And from that comes communicating and encouraging each other that we know and also it is a blessing to share truth and hope of the gospel on the internet where so many people are. Just as it was in the book of Acts the believers were daily about the things of God. It wasn't just a weekend affair and then go and live their own life. No it was everyday and so it is for us!

And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.
Acts 5:42

I share an audio with a Psalm for you all...

Titus 2...

I cleaned the oven (it needed it lol)...

(you can see in the door at the cooking now:-)

I was looking at some grass seeds growing in the garden. And I was thinking how amazing they are and we know the correlation between seeds and the Word.

They are miracle creations of the Father!

Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.
Luke 8:11

And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground;

And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how.

For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.
Mark 4:26-28

He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;
Matthew 13:37

I took this video for a sister and I share it here too...

Some simple blessings from the garden and we sisters appreciate such things and are grateful!

(And I gave a ragged leaf to the chooks...)

And I cooked them in a stirfry with other veggies...

Praises to the Father for giving us our daily bread.

Praise God for the truth and grace in Christ!

(Thank you sister saint for sharing the edifying scriptures on the awesome pictures!)

Amen!

May your day be joyous sisters! Shine that light so the Father is glorified!

Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth's sake.
Psalm 115:1

Much love to you all in Christ,
