The Weak Things of the World

Hello sisters!

How are you doing in the Lord? Going about your duties as godly women with thankfulness and joy I hope! We're so blessed to be doing what we were created to do. God is good to have given us the Word where He told us these things. And we know the world may think we are in bondage or somehow depressed to have the biblical roles we do. It actually is quite the opposite as we know they are the ones in bondage to sin. In Christ we have been made alive and free from sin and servants unto God and righteousness! We want to be His servants don't we! And His willing servants too, rebelling against sin and the wicked one. God's ways are good when followed aren't they sisters, unlike man's corrupt ones which ultimately lead to death.

It's something we sisters often talk about...God using the seemingly 'weak' or 'foolish' things for His great purposes. We know the world is partial to the rich or the famous...but not so in God's ways! He can use us quiet submissive godly women too.

But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:

That no flesh should glory in his presence.

1 Corinthians 1:27-29

That last verse actually reminds me of one of the reasons a woman is to cover her head...because her hair is her own glory. And our life is all about God's glory not our own! Isn't that awesome sisters! We don't want any glory do we! It's all of Him and He has done everything and given us everything. What blessings and now we get to just do what we are supposed to in obeying Him. And one day we will get to be with Him in glory if we overcome until the end! All these things we do in obeying God's Word and commands are just what we are supposed to be doing and our reasonable service amen sisters?

So it's something we see often how God uses what the world despises and the small and 'weak' things for His great purposes.

We know a believing obedient woman can have great influence as in 1 Peter 3.

Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives;

1 Peter 3:1

The obedient life of a holy woman can be a great witness or conviction. The woman being referred to as the 'weaker' vessel...but God can use the weak things as we know. And we may well be misunderstood as being ignorant or not knowing the scriptures or not loving them because we don't teach men and reason with them in the Word or if we reject corrupt associations. But we live to please God not men and what a comforting thought that God knows the truth! And it is Him we seek to please! Our life of actions of obedience can speak louder than words sometimes too. Our Saviour didn't always speak did He.

I also think of Moses. He was not one of elequent speech but God chose him to lead His people.

And Moses said unto the Lord, O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither heretofore, nor since thou hast spoken unto thy servant: but I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue.

And the Lord said unto him, Who hath made man's mouth? or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? have not I the Lord ?

Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say.

Exodus 4:10-12

I think of Jesus being born to a lowly godly woman (and laid in a manger rather than in a king's palace).

And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord,

And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.

For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.

For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name.

And his mercy is on them that fear him from generation to generation.

He hath shewed strength with his arm; he hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.

He hath put down the mighty from their seats, and exalted them of low degree.

He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent empty away.

Luke 1:46-53

And David facing Goliath...

David said moreover, The Lord that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the Lord be with thee.

1 Samuel 17:37

We can seem like that too sisters can't we as we know there are few true believers and the multitudes against truth around us can be great indeed. And we may think we are comparatively weak in comparison to some things we may consider mightier but God can use all such things can't He sisters!

We know we are to come with faith like a child too...

And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 18:3

And we are to be like servants serving others...

But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve.

Luke 22:26

Those are just some ways that God has that are not man's ways who lifts up the mighty and the rich and the eloquent. And He can use us, quiet godly women going about our business too. But we are to be strong in the Lord boldly standing on truth of course!

And a certain scribe came, and said unto him, Master, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest. And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.
Matthew 8:19-20

My day is almost over...

So beautiful is God's creation. It's all made by Him and for Him. All glory to Him!

For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

Colossians 1:16-17

And thank you sister for these scripture picture gifts of love to share here...

Amen sisters He is our Rock isn't He! We can build on Him and we shall not be moved!

He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.

Psalm 62:2

And may He be with you my sisters who love the Lord! Hold fast in Him!

The Righteous - Bold as a Lion

Hello sister soldier saints!

Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

2 Timothy 2:3

A good soldier of Jesus Christ...I like that! But it obviously means we need to be strong to endure hardness! Over and over Jesus Himself and those He chose told us to expect hard things in order to follow after Him. We are to deny ourselves to the point of death for His sake aren't we. We know we have eternal life to come if we remain faithful to the end but for today anyway we have a battle to fight.

A sister was sharing these scriptures with me yesterday...

Let us not fear, sisters! We have the God of the universe with us...why should we fear? Sometimes of course we do but we must work to overcome that.

All strengthening verses right? (Thanks for sharing them with me sister:-)

It's so true if we look and focus on certain situation in our lives we may not like or a trial we get swept away in our flesh. But if we focus on the Lord and things above walking in the Spirit then we truly can press through the trials. It's about having an eternal perspective that puts all this here on earth in the right place.

Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.

Acts 4:13

Although we haven't been with Jesus, or seen Him, we have what is recorded for us that we might believe on Him through the Spirit. And we too can be bold because we trust God and because our faith in Christ is real because we know God cannot lie. What great confidence we can have sisters, today so long after our Saviour came and walked the earth.

Imagine striving for something that wasn't lasting, that was only short lived? Well we all did that in our past in various ways I'm sure. But we sisters born by the Spirit fight for endurance to eternal life! We strive to follow after Christ, to seek that which eternal!! It's a faith worth living and dying for isn't it. Think of all God did for us. We did not deserve anything...but He sent His beloved Son Himself! What love and now we can get to the Father through Him! How can we not love and want to please such a good and gracious God who did such a great sacrifice for us? Let us keep on sisters, following after Him striving to walk as He walked, obeying every command of His as best we can with the power of the Spirit, pleasing Him!

I made you sisters an audio with a scripture reading to go long with this...

Here's a pretty spider web creation to marvel at...

And look at some of God's creations on my farm duties today...

Glory to God for all He has done! He's a mighty Creator and Redeemer as well!

OK sisters I need to go now but hope this blessed you. Hold fast in Christ sister saints!

So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

Life and Hope

Hello sisters!

How are you in the Lord? I'm sure you're all keeping busy in good works and in your life you have to live out in the Lord. It's amazing isn't it sisters how God fills our time with things to do for Him after we come from and repent of all the time wasting empty worldly ways of our past. We are living for the next life and we have eternity in mind.

I have a few scriptures on life and hope to share today! Just a few as of course there's so many in His Word! What a great God we have who has offered us hope and life in His Son because we know we do not deserve it! We all go from being dead in our sins to being alive in Christ don't we! Although we all came from different backgrounds we all lived in our flesh and served sin before we were made new by the Spirit. But today praise God we have been made alive so we have the hope of eternal life to come if we hold fast to the faith! What a blessing we have to be able to encourage one another on in that.

Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again.

Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.

Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:

And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

John 11:23-26

Death to life in Christ sisters! Salvation from eternal death.

But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:

2 Timothy 1:10

(And some awesome flower creations of the Father's!)

Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

Romans 15:13

Right sisters we have a God of hope, who gives us joy and peace if we trust in Him and it's all by the power of the Spirit in us. He gives us strength to obey Him and be filled with hope of life. Some of us sisters share amongst ourselves the things we have seen in our lives that show us our Father's care and how we can trust Him. If we know He is a good Father to His children how bad is it if we don't trust in Him! We know all things work for good for those who love Him. It can be hard of course in the hardest of situations but He is in control amen sisters!

He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

Revelation 3:5

But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.

Hebrews 3:6

Let's all strive to be overcomers and holding fast in the faith until our very last breath. We don't know when that will be so we want to be walking faithful in Christ and watching at all times!

Hope those few scriptures on life and hope in Christ uplifted you sister saints! I hope to be back tomorrow here and even better hope to all be gathered home with the Saviour one day! Press on sisters! Our hope is to come at the end if we endure!

My Simple Edification for Today

Greetings godly sisters!

Another busy day has come and is almost gone for me. How is yours going? I'm sure you too are being diligent and redeeming the time in good and pure things pleasing to the Lord! I like thinking about my sisters being quiet godly women going about their work what they were created to do and being prepared with the good news of Christ for the lost!

I have to be brief again today but we all do the best we can and rejoice and be thankful and content with what the Lord gives and allows us to do.

(Thankyou sister for adding the scripture.) What a great one showing the greatness of our mighty Saviour!

I am so refreshed by those saints who do not take sin lightly or make any excuse for compromise or false ways. It is all our love for such a holy God and all He has done for us in Christ. And if we sin, we grieve and repent.

Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance: for ye were made sorry after a godly manner, that ye might receive damage by us in nothing.

For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.

For behold this selfsame thing, that ye sorrowed after a godly sort, what carefulness it wrought in you, yea, what clearing of yourselves, yea, what indignation, yea, what fear, yea, what vehement desire, yea, what zeal, yea, what revenge! In all things ye have approved yourselves to be clear in this matter.

2 Corinthians 7:9-11

That is refreshing in such a deceived world where many think that sinners get into heaven by just believing in Christ or don't want to please Him by obeying all things but just obey some. But for those who love God, those souls who hunger and thirst after righteousness, who seek first God's kingdom, who strive to do His will and walk pleasing to Him, who walk holy and blameless all because of what Christ has done, are sorrowful for the flesh and sin they must battle. We can overcome in the Lord as He gives us all we need but we still live in these fleshly bodies. But the hope is to be set free from it all one day! Press on in the fight of faith until then sisters!

Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

 1 Timothy 6:12

Got all my headcoverings for my shop finished  today...

Praise God and I'm glad for the opportunity to sew as well and the gospel will go out for whoever buys them.

Amen we do sisters! Let us all do the will of God pleasing Him as His faithful children. And what great hope we have in Christ our Saviour! All our labours are not in vain in Him!

Hold fast beloved sister saints! We know we are just passing through this world living for a totally different kingdom!

Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;

2 Peter 3:13-15

A Little Edification for a New Day

Greetings sisters!

How are you? I'm back again with another day the Lord gave me. It is the Lord that gives us our breath each day. Let us be thankful and use all our life for our God and doing those things which please Him.

God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;

Acts 17:24-25

Aren't we so blessed to have His Word sisters?

📖

We get to learn about our God and know the way to eternal life through His Son!

Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree.

Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.

Acts 5:29-32

We can each be thankful for the ways the Lord provides us with food each day.

(Grasses blowing in the wind.)

The wind goeth toward the south, and turneth about unto the north; it whirleth about continually, and the wind returneth again according to his circuits.

Ecclesiastes 1:6

And I thought that was a bit interesting...some plants growing out of the mulch in the tree trunk.

More pretty flower creations...

Just a few more things from the Creator. And we sisters are so blessed to know our Creator and not be in rebellion against Him. We know what He wants us to do...and we want to go about our business that we were created to do!

(And thank you sister for the pictures.)

What a great and mighty God we have and get to serve sisters! May we glorify Him and not anything else and may He be first in our lives! He will be our strength and deliverer if we trust Him!

I hope your day is a fruitful one as you redeem the time the Lord has given you sisters! Let us please the Lord our God who has bought us with a price!

For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

1 Corinthians 6:20

25 November 2021

Greetings sisters!

I have had a really busy day and so have some simple things to edify you today. That's the good thing we all just do what we can and the best we can. As long as it's all done unto the Lord and pleasing to the Lord then we can be content in it.

For this cause, when I could no longer forbear, I sent to know your faith, lest by some means the tempter have tempted you, and our labour be in vain.

1 Thessalonians 3:5

I love that verse. And I understand the meaning of what Paul says too; eagerly hoping to hear of the saints faithfully striving on in the faith! What a blessing some of us can communicate daily, encourage one another and bear each other's burdens.

(Thank you for the picture sister.)

What a mighty God we serve! He is worthy!

And for sharing this strengthening one...

Amen sisters...let us rest and trust in our Lord in all things.

Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

1 Timothy 6:12

Let us fight on in this faith in Christ sisters! Enemies of the soul abounds...let us watch and be sober.

And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.

Mark 13:37

Hope your day today is one of trust in the Lord. A sister and I were sharing how this life is not going to be easy. But God will give us what we need if we trust Him!

Hold fast sisters! Hope to be back tomorrow!

Love in Christ,

Unfeigned Faith and God's Creation

Hello faithful sisters!

How are you today?

I come back with some edification for your day. And whether it's little or much I share here I hope it edifies you sisters always. God's Word is edifying I know!

We see some faithful godly women in the life of Timothy here...

When I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that in thee also.

2 Timothy 1:5

And we too can be full of sincere faith. That's encouraging isn't it sisters as we strive to live out this life in Christ as He wants us too.

Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:

1 Timothy 1:5

You can find a teaching audio on faith here. It's important as it has been so perverted today.

Amen sisters let us also earnestly contend for the true faith and hold fast our profession of our faith without wavering! Thank you for sharing those verses today sister...as we each encourage one another daily to hold fast! God is so faithful...let us be faithful to Him!

But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

James 1:22

Let's not be deceived sister saints. We don't want that do we.

I love these words which go along with this life in Christ...

...faith, mercy, grace, love, patience, holiness, righteousness, goodness, truth, fruit, life, peace, joy, strength, incorruptible, comfort, hope and forgiveness...and so much more. We know all good things come from God! What a great God we serve sisters! We owe Him everything! He has done so much for us!

Got to sew some more headcoverings for my shop today...

More to sew over the next days Lord willing.

A pretty butterfly creation I saw today...

And pretty calves (I guess you could say so:-)...

And pretty evening light on the farm...

And a pretty sunset from my room window...

Lots of pretty things in God's creation! Glory to Him!

🌸🌷🌹🌺🌻🌼🐞🍓🍒🍉

The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.

There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.

Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,

Psalm 19:1-4

And pretty little flowers too...

OK sisters I'm about done here. And we can help do this for one another these days....

Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

Acts 14:22

Continue in the faith sisters! And trials will come that we know! Let us press on in faith in our glorious Saviour!

And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;

Hebrews 5:9

We sisters want to have unfeigned faith...and also unfeigned love for each other...

Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:

1 Peter 1:22

As some of us sisters speak about, there's so much that is 'fake' in this world. But we want to have true faith and true love and true everything about us. We want to mean what we say and live what we believe and such like. We don't want lip service love or belief that leads to no actions. After all God is all about truth and we are to worship in spirit and truth! The opposite is lies and error and we know who the father of those are. Let us be women of true faith in our Saviour and great God!

Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

Titus 2:13-14

May the Lord bless you sisters. Keep going about your business unto the Lord working with your hands in whatever duties you have to do. God is glorified when we do that.

Love in Christ,

Sister Michaela

Sharing Thoughts for Encouragement

Hello again sisters!

Hope you're well today but especially that you are strong in the Lord! Is your soul prospering sisters? I hope and pray so!

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth.

I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.

Beloved, thou doest faithfully whatsoever thou doest to the brethren, and to strangers;

3 John 1:2-5

Hope you are walking in truth too!

I love that sisters...don't you?

I was thinking about this...about Joseph and what his brothers did to him.

And the patriarchs, moved with envy, sold Joseph into Egypt: but God was with him,

Acts 7:9

And Joseph said unto them, Fear not: for am I in the place of God? But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.

Genesis 50:19-20

And about Daniel and the people trying to find fault with him...

Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him. Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except we find it against him concerning the law of his God.

Daniel 6:4-5

And about Jesus and how they were constantly looking to tempt and trip Him up to find fault...

Then went the Pharisees, and took counsel how they might entangle him in his talk.

Matthew 22:15

This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not.

John 8:6

And I was thinking too how those who know we are followers of Christ may do those kinds of things to us too sisters. We are to be blameless in all our words and actions aren't we. But that doesn't mean they won't look to find fault or try to find 'something' to accuse us with.

It's God's perfect ways we are striving to follow and just because we have the hope of eternal life to come and walk in His ways, of course we don't think we are any better than anyone else. People seem to think that we do think that. We want everyone to come and so does God but we know the way is narrow. But we don't let the fact that there will be few cause us to not strive to enter do we. Nor what people think of us. They can come too if they want to and experience freedom from sin, in Christ...and life from the dead!

Yes we are called to be different from the world and we are and so that's ok if people think we are 'strange'...or too 'radical' or too 'extreme' or too 'holy' or too 'zealous' or too 'bold'!

And it doesn't mean that just because we know people will think we are strange or be envious against us do we not obey God in everything because He is our God and we are His children. We don't please people. This life is temporary and the people in it around us will only be on this earth for a short time as will we. Then there is eternity for them and us. Are we going to let temporary relationships effect our eternity? I know there are all kinds of different circumstances out there that believers face and I know in some countries the penalties for claiming Christ is death but if we are truly of God then death is gain! But then there can be spiritual death too...when someone turns away from the truth. That is sad too...but there is hope for all until their earthly life is over! And we want to be bear that truth to others so they can be washed clean and new creations in Christ too!

(There's a teaching audio here on making sure we are persecuted for the right reasons. And one here on the hatred we may get.)

And sisters even though we may be more sheltered from the world going around about us as Titus 2 godly women that doesn't mean we won't face anything. We have to be ready.

We are not to be surprised but expect it all.

Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.

1 John 3:13

So I guess this is just a reminder for us all to remember what we know may come into our lives. We are no different than our Master and they did much to Him too. Strive on in the faith of Christ!

------------------------

Many onions almost ready for harvest...

That's been a long wait...but it's almost time! So too we are waiting patiently for our Lord to come or for when our life on this earth will be over and we will receive a crown of life!

Ducks and chicks are getting bigger...

We got blessed with some rain today...

And I love looking at the water droplets and smelling the fresh air afterwards. Simple blessings in life.

More rain clouds coming in this evening...

God is good to water the land for the evil and the good people. How merciful and long suffering He is...yet most ignore Him, deny He exists, mock Him, or bring reproach on His name by claiming Him and living for themselves with sin.

Simple Titus 2 pic of the day...

And there's plenty of this for the saints all over the world to 'share'...

Well I hope there's more than that many saints out there and we know God has His remnant scattered though surely love and faith is waxing rare. But anyway it's just cyber sharing anyway and the thought behind it:-)

And thank you sister for adding the scriptures...

Hospitality...among the brethren is something we know we are to have sisters! And it says...without grudging. And that would also not be showing partiality either. And for us women we would often be about the food, serving others...but we know the focus is not the food but the Lord and our love for Him and each other. And yes thankfulness for providing physical food but more so spiritual food.

Amen sisters...glory to Him!

OK I'm done for what I had to share today! Hold fast sister saints! Until next time...

Love in Christ,

Sister Michaela
