I came across these precious Words of Christ, "I am the resurrection, and the life:"...
"Now Bethany was nigh unto Jerusalem, about fifteen furlongs off:
And many of the Jews came to Martha and Mary, to comfort them concerning their brother.
Then Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming, went and met him: but Mary sat still in the house.
Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.
But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee.
Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again.
Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.
Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world."
(John 11:18-27)
Amen!
And then I was later reading this and thought it was related and appropriate reminder that we are not to live unto ourselves but unto Christ.
"For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:
And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again."
(2 Corinthians 5:14-15)

I share some pics from my last few days. It's been busy with animal care and catching up on housework...still haven't caught up on that but I am getting there.
I know they are common, though we might not always see them, but how amazing is a bird's nest? I don't think we could even do it it's so intricate. How marvellous have the birds been created that they can do this to raise young.
I found this one in the orchard in a fruit tree. It's lined with wool. I saw the babies fly out when I got too close but they were obviously ready to go.
But the parents weren't too keen on me being there.
Waiting for the harvest...
...of pears,
...and apples,
...and cherry tomatoes.
Reminds me of how we can sow seeds of truth and then we don't know how or if they will grow and produce good fruit or not. God knows and He alone gives the increase.
"Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man?
I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.
So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase."
(1 Corinthians 3:5-7)
Amen, let us, especially as women, trust all to the Lord of what is going on in the hearts around us. We just do our bit faithfully.
This is an interesting flowering bush. The flowers feel like wax...and the air around smells like it too. Another interesting creation of God. (It's called Geraldton Wax.)
Some eucalyptus flowers I came across.
Sweet little chicks peering out from under mummy hen.
It looks like the dog is watching the sunset...but I think only mankind can appreciate the beauty of that. He's probably looking for birds.
Last night I made pizza for dinner...and it made enough to last tonight also. We never know how many brothers will turn up to eat so it's great when you can have a night off cooking and do something else that needs to be done. I'm sure all the keeper at home cooks would agree.
And nothing like farm fresh eggs...they are amazing creations too and a blessing to use for our food. They go well on pizza too:-)
"Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;"
(1 Timothy 6:17)
All you ladies have a blessed day! Strive on in Christ and set your affection on things above...even while going about the necessary everyday things of life we need to live.
Love in Him,
