Today's Encouragement (31 March 2022)

Greetings sisters!

I'm here again sending some quick encouragement to my sisters who love the Lord our God!

Thank you sister for sharing that awesome scripture. What great blessings are all those things from the Lord and what we have with one another as saints.

Aren't you glad that we have such a faithful God and Saviour!

Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.

Hebrews 2:17

What hope we have been offered in Christ! We are most hopeless without Him! Glory to God! Let us hold fast to Him!

I've been having a busy day with some cleaning and gardening and more busy days ahead Lord willing I get them. Hope you're all doing well where each of you are shining your lights!

That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;

Philippians 2:15

Cute swallows resting on the house roof...

Good food in the making growing from the ground...

Many hungry caterpillars too...

I picked many off and fed them to the chickens.

What a unique flower! I've never seen one quite like that!

It's a passionfruit flower. Hoping it produces some yummy fruit!

Good tomato and corn blessings from the garden...

The Lord is good to provide our daily physical bread and most importantly He is our bread of life!

He is faithful and let us rejoice in Him!

And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

Revelation 1:5-7

May your day be blessed sisters! Hope your duties as godly women are going well. And it's a blessing to rest at the end of a day knowing you've done your best unto the Lord and if not you'll have a new day of God's mercies to strive hard to please our great God. He is so good to us! We have so much hope if we are following hard after Him with all our heart.

Love in Christ,

Sister Michaela

Wisdom from Proverbs

Greetings in love to my sisters in Christ!

How are you wherever you are on this earth?!

Today I'm sharing some verses from Proverbs for some wisdom which are treasures in such a foolish world as we live in. We know the Lord is the source of wisdom don't we! And He gave it to Solomon as we see here.

And God said to Solomon, Because this was in thine heart, and thou hast not asked riches, wealth, or honour, nor the life of thine enemies, neither yet hast asked long life; but hast asked wisdom and knowledge for thyself, that thou mayest judge my people, over whom I have made thee king: Wisdom and knowledge is granted unto thee; and I will give thee riches, and wealth, and honour, such as none of the kings have had that have been before thee, neither shall there any after thee have the like.

2 Chronicles 1:11-12

We too can ask Him for wisdom and we have told to be wise. We know the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. If we don't have that...well we are foolish. Reminds me of Christ telling of the wise man who built his house on the rock (by being a hearer and a doer of Christ's words) versus the other one who didn't.

There's some proverbs specifically for women as we know (particularly Proverbs 31 of course). But others too.

Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands.

Proverbs 14:1

I love thinking about that and some of you sisters who are doing that...building and not tearing down.

Let this not be us...

It is better to dwell in the wilderness, than with a contentious and an angry woman.

Proverbs 21:19

We want to be neither...angry or contentious which would be arguing and answering back wanting to have the last word and such and saying things that aren't necessary.

As coals are to burning coals, and wood to fire; so is a contentious man to kindle strife.

Proverbs 26:21

We want to be peaceful women don't we not using grievous words but soft ones. That sounds like the meek and quiet spirit we are to have too.

A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger. The tongue of the wise useth knowledge aright: but the mouth of fools poureth out foolishness.

Proverbs 15:1-2

This is what we want to have and strive for...

She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.

Proverbs 31:26

Moving on to some more verses to ponder on their wisdom. I chose some on women but the others are packed full of wisdom for us too of course!

A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband: but she that maketh ashamed is as rottenness in his bones.

Proverbs 12:4

Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised.

Proverbs 31:30

Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.

Proverbs 3:7

The fear of the Lord is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.

Proverbs 8:13

Better is little with the fear of the Lord than great treasure and trouble therewith. Better is a dinner of herbs where love is, than a stalled ox and hatred therewith.

Proverbs 15:16-17

So very much to ponder in all those! And that's just a tiny bit of all of God's wisdom of course and what is in the proverbs.

Let us be wise women...because we get it from the Lord starting with fearing Him. There is much in scripture about fools and being foolish and we don't want that to be us. Praise God for His ways and when we follow them, then we are wise. And it's God's wisdom and not man's and never anything to boast in whatsoever! And in fact we know man's wisdom is foolishness to God.

Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.

James 3:13

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

James 3:17

OK sisters...hope that edified you and that today is going well for you! Praise God for His truth and wisdom!

O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!

Romans 11:33

Today's Encouragement (29 March 2022)

Greetings in Christ!

I'm able to come back to my sisters and share whatever comes here to write for you. We know the Lord is our focus and so there's always something edifying to share no matter how simple (or 'complex') it might be. Praise God for all that we can do!

I came across this verse today...

He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.

Proverbs 25:28

And it got me thinking about that fact of how we are to have ourselves in control. Well we can see the affects of unbridled actions of people in the world leading to all kinds of sins and darkness. But we ought to know better and act better in the power of God who is in control in our lives as we submit to Him.

And we see the same concepts of controlling ourselves in the New Testament in the commands for sober mindedness, temperance and such like.

In fact we see in the well known chapter of Titus 2 that not only the older men are to be temperate but likewise the older women and also the younger women in the word 'discreet' and then it goes on to the younger men being sober also. So we see all are to be that way but us as women I am writing to here we must work on this control over ourselves. It goes along with crucifying our flesh as well doesn't it.

There could be many areas to think about where we need to exercise 'ruling over our spirit' so to speak couldn't there be.

The main one that we would think of is our actions and that we push ourselves to do what we should even though we don't feel like it. And we stop ourselves from doing anything we shouldn't do. And there's all kinds of specific things within that and we all can think of things we may face or our weaknesses.

And that would also be in our words wouldn't it. Women can be loud and dominating in their way of speech. But in Christ we know to watch our words and they are to be pure and not foolish or bossy and mean. As it says in Psalm also...

Set a watch, O Lord, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.

Psalm 141:3

And we know God would have us to have a quiet spirit and be meek and kind and loving and peaceable and merciful and gracious and other such characteristics. God's ways are good!

This scripture says it well as brother Paul compares what the world does to what we do in the Lord.

Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.

And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.

I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:

But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

1 Corinthians 9:24-27

That says a lot...how we are to bring our own body (with it's flesh and lusts) into subjection. And we have to keep fighting in this not giving up.

And I can think that for us if we have homes to keep that we don't allow ourselves to get carried away or obsessed with all the extra additions and fancy things but instead we focus on what is most important. But there's many ways we rule over our spirit and ultimately it's submitting to God's commands isn't it. It's something we do at all times every moment of each day. I appreciate my sisters who are striving at this every day and seeking to please the Lord!

Cute lil frog creation in the garden...

And a pretty sunset...

And another day is over for me. It was another day to serve the Lord and strive on in Him seeking the truth and standing in it!

May we all seek to be godly women of self control and not let any actions or words displease our Lord or bring reproach on His holy worthy name! Stand fast sisters! Keep pressing on!

Love in Christ,

Today's Encouragement (28 March 2022)

Greetings in love to my sister saints!

Each day we trust in the Lord to provide all we need. And He is faithful!

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Matthew 6:33

I know we may share that one a lot but it's such an important one to remember. Well you know it's all important but it shows our priorities that we should have and not worry about things in our lives. And more and more I see that that is not going on in most people's lives who say they are Christ's. But may it not be so with us.

God (and Christ) is to be number one in our lives.

And He is...

Our first love

Our Lord and Master

Above all else.

He says how we live our lives and we obey

Everything else is subject to Him

We test all things against His will

And fear Him

Don't want to grieve Him,

Or bring shame and reproach and blasphemy on His name by disobedience and darkness.

So many ways we put Him first and everything falls into place. Well everything we do even as godly women like cooking and cleaning are because of our obedience to Him and fulfilling our roles as keepers at home etc which is showing our love for God.

As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

1 Peter 4:10-11

May He in all things be glorified sisters!

This is our whole life isn't it sisters...the one we live in Christ. Not something we put on and off but always and daily are striving in.

And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.
Acts 5:42

But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

Hebrews 3:13
Let us all keep pressing on in seeking first God's kingdom and righteousness and loving Him with all that we are. Nothing...absolutely nothing...must come in the way between Him and us.

Glad to pick the first of the corn tonight!

Thanks to God for providing!

And the calves get the husks...

I collected some parsley seed to plant and sent a picture to a sister who added this scripture. (thank you sister:-)

Praise God for His Word and that we also get to be labourers in planting and watering but it's always God that gives the increase! And what an awesome amazing creation is the seed and how God made the plants to be fruitful and multiply and in so doing provide food for mankind. Glory to Him!

May your day be blessed in the Lord sisters. And I hope you keep diligently going about your good works unto the Lord!

Love in Christ,

Sister Michaela

Today's Encouragement (27 March 2022)

Hello sisters!

Hope you're all holding fast in the hope of Christ. He is so worthy to be labored for isn't He!

For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

Hebrews 4:10-11

We sisters are daily willing - to stand - and say 'that's not right' to something whether in speech or by our actions of not participating in something. And even though it may be hard for us, Christ and His truth is worth it all and we are to love Him and not be pushed around all over the place into things that are not truth and are sinful. The opposite of truth is a lie isn't it and we know who the father of those is.

And for us sisters having the roles that we do as being made for man and some having husbands it can add an extra dimension of difficulty because we don't rule and usurp authority and such. But this pleases God when we work within what we have been created for and obviously we aren't to sin if someone wants us to but we learn the depths of trusting God and submission giving up our own will (except our will to serve God which is only what we want anyway).

I have no desire to be a part of any group of believers who do not want to be united and pure in doctrine and striving hard against sin. And I'm sure none of you sisters do either. I don't want to be united where there is known sin and it is overlooked just to make others happy. God is holy and His Son holy and precious and His ways are truth and righteousness and He calls us to follow Him doesn't He. So sisters let's keep loving Him more and more! And the more we love Him the more we desire to obey Him wholeheartedly and in growing we see more too.

I'm encouraged by my sisters who have that love and want to grow more and more after His holiness because Christ made the way for us!

I was thinking about the ways we women may be able to share truth with others. Of course the most obvious is just being a light in our appearance and actions of good works and kindess. And then we should be prepared with the gospel of Christ. And one way to do that is to have something written to give to people especially when there isn't much of a chance to talk deeper. But in doing that we need to also have the right focus and motivation and it must be led by the Spirit and be for helping that soul. We definitely don't want it to be something just to do or that we feel we must because we have to but it must come from seeing the value of souls and the preciousness of the truth. This will press us on in greater urgency. Of course the other person is responsible for their life but we are to be faithful. It's good to re evaluate ourselves from time to time to make sure we have the right motive in this (and all things). And it is love isn't it? Yes it's love for God (obeying Him in spreading His gospel for one) and the other's soul which is called loving our neighbor which is very important. We know it is unloving to not tell the truth to people really if we know it as we do. And it's sad that most who claim Christ would rather just all get along and not care about souls. They may say as long as we all just believe in Jesus it's fine, but most all the denominations believe...and they are filled with lies from the father of lies and not of God. We know there is a false faith, and those who receive the grace of God and believe in vain. We don't want that for ourselves or others do we. So we are to examine ourselves to see if we are really even in the faith at all.

Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:

1 Timothy 1:5

I definitely want to be filled with love for souls and that will overcome our flesh and character that doesn't always find it an easy thing to do. But we don't give up and keep pressing on. As we know, walk in the Spirit not the flesh.

Pretty day God gave here...

And pretty stars last night...

Thus saith the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me. I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.

Isaiah 45:11-12

All the glory goes to the Creator!

May your day be blessed sisters! And may it be filled with His peace that the world cannot take away! Hold fast!

Much love in the Lord,

Sister Michaela

Today's Encouragement (26 March 2022)

Greetings in love to my sisters!

God gave us another day! How has your day been going? I'm sure you have been seeking to please the Lord as you go about your good works...those good works we have been created for in Christ! The ones we are to be zealous for, diligently following, and fruitful in! And we definitely want to aim for zero bad fruits and works as we strive on in the power of Christ! If we fall we have such a merciful God. But we never want to grieve Him.

I was thinking of the fact that many know that we must believe in Jesus to enter the kingdom. But what Jesus are they thinking of because there are many made up false ideas of Him. We have to make sure people we might be sharing truth with understand who He is and what He demands of His followers don't we lest they believe in a fake Jesus which would end up being another god. And many people believe He overlooks or even approves of sin. But we know He/God never does. We are blessed to have the written word that we may believe the truth!

Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book:

But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.
John 20:29-31

And let's remember His words...

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
Matthew 7:21-24

And He said this...

And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.
Luke 9:23-24

In sharing the good news of Christ we remember the deception that abounds in many things and we cling to the written word. So many have been deceived by man made religion of many different types including the 'Christian' one itself haven't they.

Pretty day here...

Good day for the garden to continue growing before it gets colder here.

Good blessings we receive from the plants from the ground that God created in the beginning and it's still going today.

How beautiful...

Glory to God for His works and that we get to appreciate them and give Him the praise!

Thank you for the scriptures sister!

That's amazing...joy in heaven over repentance! We can have great joy too when a soul repents to follow after Christ or a wayward and rebellious believer repents too!

Amen we must love the Lord above all else with all our heart and mind and strength!

I must go sisters. Hold fast to the truth! Remember to rejoice in being blessed to simply be a godly woman! Praise God! His truth sets us free as we submit to Him!

Love in Christ,

Today's Encouragement (25 March 2022)

Hello sisters!

Today I am back here to share some simple encouragement with my sisters to press on in the Lord. He is first in our lives isn't He. So all we do comes from our love for Him (our obedience). In such a dark deceived world what a blessing it is to have a firm foundation and to know what we, His creatures, are supposed to be doing.

And we can trust that He is in control in our lives and all things work for good for those who love Him!

He is a good God!

(Thank you sister for the scripture picture:-)

Praise God for having our transgressions removed!

And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

Revelation 1:5

I'm thankful that there is a way to have our sins forgiven! What a precious and powerful Saviour! He has done so much for us...and we follow after Him. He is worthy!

Hold fast to the truth sisters...as we know satan questions whether God has said what He has. Did that right at the start didn't he. Let's not be deceived by anyone.

Keep up in your good works sisters! What a great blessing it is to be godly Titus 2 women serving others and in doing so fulfilling our roles we were created for.

Today's Encouragement (24 March 2022)

Greetings in holiness to my sisters!

Thank you sister for sharing that awesome scripture! Rejoice, pray, and give thanks...this is the will of God. May we sisters be doing that!

I've had a busy day today mostly doing a lot of cleaning. What were each of you doing today? I know roughly what my sisters would be doing and that is those things becoming of holiness! Praise God for the light and truth we have! And that we aren't lost in the world and running around here and there fulfilling our lusts of the flesh and sinning against God! That is a precious thing...we cling to with our life...to Christ and His truth that sets us free!

For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.
2 Corinthians 5:14-15

Some beautiful flowers and peaceful creations.

Glory to God for all things!

Apple blessings coming along here...

So there should be more of this coming up...

What a blessing apples are!

And God provides our daily bread again too...

He that tilleth his land shall have plenty of bread: but he that followeth after vain persons shall have poverty enough. A faithful man shall abound with blessings: but he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent.
Proverbs 28:19-20

Amen sisters! He is holy and worthy!

Hope each and everyone of you, few though my true sisters may be, has a joyous day in the Lord and you go about your business unto Him. That is such a blessing, knowing the good things we do pleases Him. Hold fast sisters!

Today's Encouragement (23 March 2022)

Greetings in Christ sisters!

A new day is here and so am I and want to bring a little encouragement to my sisters. And my 'sisters' are those who do the will of God as Jesus said.

For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

Matthew 12:50

We know we are to 'do' God's will don't we sisters.

For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

Hebrews 10:36

And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

1 John 2:17

God is in control and made us and demands what He wants from us doesn't He. And we willingly submit to Him...we must. Those who are not serious about doing God's will (obeying Him) are really serving another god aren't they and so are none of His and neither are they children in His family. We hope they repent...before it's too late.

We see this a lot don't we sisters...people having pleasure in unrighteousness.

That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

2 Thessalonians 2:12

And even among those who claim the name of Christ, who is holy, take pleasure in unrighteousness. It's sad that many boast in sin and unrighteousness and excuse it under the excuse of 'Christian liberty'. But God will not be mocked and He knows the hearts of everyone and before Him they will have no excuse!

I love this...

That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;

Philippians 2:15

It's indeed a crooked and perverse nation we live in isn't it. We have people calling good evil and evil good. But we are to shine as lights amongst them. We love the light don't we sisters! God is light! We hate the darkness and the sin that is there. And the light we have is from Him of course!

So keep shining your lights brightly my sisters! And that is by being obedient, holy, chaste, kind, loving, meek, quiet, godly women going about your work as unto the Lord! My sisters refresh me so much in a wicked world! I can only wonder what heaven will be like with everything pure! Let's be preparing for that time sisters and glorifying our Lord now while He has us here.

Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.

2 Corinthians 13:11

Love in Christ,

Sister Michaela

Today's Encouragement (22 March 2022)

Greetings in Christ!

Hope this finds my holy obedient sisters standing strong in the Lord, holding fast and prospering in Him! And I know you would be going about your own business and working hard in many different good works the Lord would have you do. God's daughters are not lazy and idle...well they shouldn't be...so it's a blessing to have a great variety of good things to do. We might have houses to keep, clean and organize, food to cook to feed others and ourselves, gardens to look after, husbands to help in many different ways, children to raise in the Lord, sisters in the faith to encourage, the gospel to be prepared with to the lost, our own faith to be strengthened in in the Word and grow in knowledge and ready to give an answer, there might be elderly to look after, animals to care for, a job to be able to support yourself, and many other things and in all that we know we must keep our focus right and that is having the Lord as our first love.

And out of that comes the way we behave and obviously we want that to be what is fitting to the gospel of Christ. We have read the scriptures enough to know what all those things are. But we do well with reminders and times to ponder more deeply in each specific quality we are to have to make sure we haven't fallen back in any of them.

This is just one...

For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them. And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same.

Luke 6:32-33

That is opposite of the world's ways and our flesh isn't it. We know all will get justice one day and vengeance belongs to God not us. We can rest in that and do what we are called to do...loving our enemies and doing good to them. Christ did so much for us...while we were still sinners...how can we think we are better than Him and treat our enemies badly. Praise God for His ways which are high and we strive to reach and grow towards! And as a sister and I were talking about recently we don't want to only keep to ourselves (meaning amongst us saints) because we know we are also to be carrying this precious truth to the lost. It's good that we have the deep love and good communication and encouragement amongst us but we don't stay within ourselves and as that verse says only love those who love us. And I know I am loved by my sisters and I love them fervently too...but to love our enemies and do good to them is truly God's way He has for us. He is the One who will be dealing with them lest they repent of their evil actions against us (which are against Him). We always hope they do repent and become holy in Christ and zealous of good works!

Here I just share an assortment of garden pictures. What a blessing gardens are! Praise God for them!

Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:

Matthew 13:24

Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope.
1 Corinthians 9:10

For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.

Mark 4:28

Cute lil frog...

Millipedes eating the melons...

So I try to raise them off of the ground...

Seems to work some.

These are great creatures to have in the soil aren't they.

We don't see a lot here probably because it is so dry but all God's creation fits together so well and all have their different roles to do. All people are without excuse for not believing in this great Creator! Let us worship Him alone for it all!

(thank you sister for adding this scripture)

Yes He is everything to us and He made us and He sent His Son to make a way for us and has done all things well!

But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.

Galatians 6:14

Amen sisters!

Alright I must go. May your day be blessed in the Lord and I hope you endure through this one strong in the Lord...and remembering His mercies being new every day! Great is His faithfulness!

Love in Christ,

Sister Michaela
