Today's Edification (3 March 2026)

Hello sisters!

I hope you're strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. He is our hope and peace and joy. The world is anything but that, but at least we can see and appreciate His beautiful creations. They are a witness unto Him in all the world.

The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.

There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.

Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,

Psalm 19:1-4

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.
Romans 10:17-18

Nevertheless he left not himself without witness, in that he did good, and gave us rain from heaven, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.
Acts 14:17

I'm sharing these two scriptures I was pondering on about what glorifies the Lord how we do things not to get anything back.

And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.

For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them.

And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same.

And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again.

But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.

Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.

Luke 6:31-36

Then said he also to him that bade him, When thou makest a dinner or a supper, call not thy friends, nor thy brethren, neither thy kinsmen, nor thy rich neighbours; lest they also bid thee again, and a recompence be made thee.

But when thou makest a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind:

And thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just.

Luke 14:12-14

These are our Lord's precious teachings for us to follow in whatever opportunities He has given us.

I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.
Acts 20:35

Indeed our Lord gave us a great gift in giving up His life for us. What a perfect example He is! May we follow Him!

Love, peace, and mercy unto you in the name of Jesus our wonderful Saviour!

Today's Edification (2 March 2026)

Hello sisters!

Hopefully you're pressing on in the faith and in your duties faithfully. We want to stay faithful to the end don't we. Each day does matter too. The Lord help us through these evil times. We are salt and light on this earth. May we not grow lukewarm or compromise as that is perilous for our soul. The Lord deserves so much better of course. He is so worthy and has also called us to walk worthy of Him, which is a high calling but He helps us! So blessed we are to have His written word to guide us.

I'm sharing some edifying and encouragement for us women here.

Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives;

While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear.

Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel;

But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.

1 Peter 3:1-4

And we see the word conversation is one that simply means our behavior doesn't it. Our actions do matter. We as women are not to be asserting authority over men or teaching them but as this scripture clearly shows, it is our holy behavior that is important. It shows us that having a meek and quiet spirit is of great price to God. It shows us that outward adorning is not what we are to have. That is vain and of the flesh and the lusts of the eyes and pride of life...of the world. We do not need to look far in the world to see that it values outward adorning very much.

Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

1 John 2:15-17

Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.
Proverbs 31:30-31

Yes we even see in Proverbs that it is our actions that are meaningful and not empty outward appearances.

And this is another good scripture for us women, of the truth to walk in.

In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;

But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.

Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.

But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.

For Adam was first formed, then Eve.

And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.

Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.

1 Timothy 2:9-15

And from what I can tell, the 'modest apparel' is meaning an orderly long garment. We also see the words shamefaced and sobriety along with this which are also good to ponder. But it ties in to both the 1 Peter 3 and Proverbs 31 scripture as it again mentions good works as what we are to have. It is our actions that are speaking. And the good works could be a variety of things but I get the picture of usefulness, serving, and helping others with our hands in laboring and also helping others with our possessions as the situations arise. We all have different lives and opportunities but may we do our best in the lives the Lord has called us in, sisters.

As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
Galatians 6:10

So may we keep pressing on in what the Lord has given us!

Love, mercy, and peace to you in the Lord.

Today's Edification (1 March 2026)

Greetings sisters!

It is another day to press on in courage and strength and hope in our Lord and eternal life to come! We know our Lord is in control and gave us another day. So may we use it for His glory on all good things that He gave us to do.

Sharing some scriptures that encourage us to put others above ourselves. Of course God is always first but the truth He taught is clear for us on this.

Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.
Philippians 2:3-4

Master, which is the great commandment in the law?

Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

This is the first and great commandment.

And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Matthew 22:36-40

Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7

Let no man seek his own, but every man another's wealth.
1 Corinthians 10:24

For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Galatians 5:13-14

The Lord's ways are so good! Let's keep seeking to walk in them, sisters.

There are blessings in return to His children and of course our inheritance to come if we endure faithful to the very end.

There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty.

The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.

He that withholdeth corn, the people shall curse him: but blessing shall be upon the head of him that selleth it.

Proverbs 11:24-26

For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because ye belong to Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward.
Mark 9:41

Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
Luke 6:38

Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again.
Luke 6:30

We have better rewards from our Father than physical things that may be taken from us! May our treasures be in heaven and may we obey and please our Lord while we are down here.

Keep pressing on in the truth, sisters! Love and mercy unto you in His name.

Today's Edification (28 February 2026)

Greetings sisters!

I'm back again to share some edifying for our day. And it's also the end of another month so am sharing some pictures too. Time just keeps moving steadily forwards doesn't it. Through all our labours as unto the Lord may we be preparing for eternity. We have a Saviour to follow and we know He is the only way so let us stay close to Him and keep His Words.

Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.
John 14:23-24

There's mostly a lot of garden pictures here! It's lots of watering and harvest time so quite a bit to keep up with.

Thankful there's less weeds this time of year though. It's just nice to see things flourishing and green as it's pretty brown and dry this time of year.

The tomatoes keep coming and coming!

So I have been pureeing them and then cooking and thickening them and then canning them. I also made some pasta sauce for the freezer.

Tomatoes are the only 'vegetable' that can be safely water canned apparently. I still have to add citric acid to the jars to make them more acidic (or lemon juice). But it's a blessing to store them up for longer term.

The reality of making tomato paste...

But it's worth it I think as we use quite a lot. And I am just freezing it in small portions. Pure concentrated tomato goodness, nothing else!

Thankful for the capsicums (or peppers) too!

Pears are all in now too...

I hope to can them in the coming days once they are just ripe. Good blessings from the Lord to store up too! It's just good whatever makes it to harvest here. The foxes have started to become more of a problem the last few years as they have learned to rip into the bird netting over the trees so will have to come up with another solution like a flashing light and maybe some kind of human voice audio too or something! You would think that would keep them away but they may learn.

So many garden veggies to use in meals. The Lord is good and merciful to provide.

I would share!

Give us day by day our daily bread.
Luke 11:3

Thankful for the cleaning jobs I get to do. This was scrubbing the grout in a kitchen before and after picture.

Just a lot of on hands and knees scrubbing with a few simple ingredients and tools.

It's crucial to have a good vacuum cleaner for being a house cleaner especially as there's often a lot of animal hair I have to deal with and 'try' to get out of carpets etc. Sometimes I have to spend a bit of time sifting through online reviews etc as I don't want to make a wrong choice and be stuck with something bad, and be wasting money. There's always trial and error and learning to be done though. But researching can really help.

I just recently bought a battery-powered vacuum and it's just so much easier than tangling with a cord but it has it's drawbacks too. But it has brighter lights than my other one which I have been appreciating as it shows up so much dirt I otherwise would miss.

It reminds me of the Word though and what light does!

But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.
Ephesians 5:13

Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.
1 Corinthians 4:5

We know our Saviour is the light and nothing is hid from Him of course!

And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

John 3:19-21

Always some beautiful creations to see.

(That's simply the sun shining through the leaves but it was beautiful and sparkly like heaps of little lights. There's just pretty things all over in His creations that we can often overlook.)

(pretty moon)

O LORD, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.
Psalm 104:24

And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.
Isaiah 6:3

May we fear this great God and abide in His love.

And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
Matthew 10:28

So that is all for now sisters. Lord willing I will keep being able to come back and share in the Lord here daily. The days seem to come thick and fast, but may we redeem them in good and wise things.

Keep pressing on in the duties the Lord has given you that are good and pure and true and useful. We want to be faithful in what we do have.

Love unto you in the truth.

Today's Edification (27 February 2026)

Hello sisters!

Today is here! Yesterday is gone and we don't know if the Lord will have tomorrow for us, so we want to always be ready and right with the Lord. We want to ponder the path of our feet and examine ourselves to see where we are.

For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end; While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.
Hebrews 3:14-15

I thought on my ways, and turned my feet unto thy testimonies. I made haste, and delayed not to keep thy commandments.
Psalm 119:59-60

The Lord help us to keep being faithful in a faithless and perverse generation. We must be strong but all things are possible with the Lord! We must stay close to Him and He will to us.

Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
James 4:8-10

Who, when he came, and had seen the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they would cleave unto the Lord.
Acts 11:23

Yes we have choices to make each day of whom we will serve, the Lord or ourselves basically. Our God is good to serve and follow. Our flesh leads to death.

For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

Romans 8:5-9

May we all keep making the right choices for the Lord and may He help to guide us back if we don't. He is merciful!

My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.

He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.

He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

1 John 2:1-6

Love to you in the faith, sisters. Be strong where you are and keep being faithful and consistent day in and day out for His glory!

Today's Edification (26 February 2026)

Hello sisters!

Here is another day the Lord gave us to keep pressing on for the kingdom! Nothing else matters. But we do have a lot of physical works to do but we know the type that pleases Him. Serving others and working for our needs and to have to give does please Him. So may we not grow weary in any good thing, sisters, but do them as unto the Lord we love.

Here's some scriptures to encourage us to keep pressing on!

Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee.

Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee.

Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.

Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil .

Proverbs 4:23-27

For the Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.
Isaiah 50:7

Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
Psalm 139:23-24

Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the LORD. Let us lift up our heart with our hands unto God in the heavens.
Lamentations 3:40-41

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
Matthew 6:33-34

Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
1 Timothy 6:12

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
1 Corinthians 15:58

He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
Revelation 21:7

Strive on sisters! And I will strive to here as well. May He help those who humbly seek Him, His children, the holy ones born of His Holy Spirit.

Love and peace to you in His name.

Hello sisters!

God gave me another day and the ability to write here again too. I hope you are pressing on whatever is going on in your lives. We have so much hope in the Lord to overcome all things.

Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O LORD.

Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.

If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?

But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.

I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.

My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.

Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.

And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.

Psalm 130:1-8

The Lord is our portion and He is sufficient for us. There can be a lot of depth to grow in of contentment and truly trusting in Him and that He knows best and just simply getting on with the duties in front of us no matter how small they may seem. We are called to be faithful. We know God is displeased with grumbling and complaining and we don't want to have that even in our hearts. In our cultures, we also need to be extra careful, I think, to deny ourselves a lot of things, lest we be caught up in loving this world and the things in it.

I think it is one of the greatest dangers in the rich countries that we may live in along with false doctrines in what is known as Christianity. May we be on guard and careful.

We do not want to be dead while we live.

Now she that is a widow indeed, and desolate, trusteth in God, and continueth in supplications and prayers night and day. But she that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth.
1 Timothy 5:5-6
Two things have I required of thee; deny me them not before I die: Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me: Lest I be full, and deny thee, and say, Who is the LORD? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God in vain.
Proverbs 30:7-9

We have been warned of riches. We see it happening so often in this world, all sorts of sins stemming from the greed for more money.

But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.

For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

1 Timothy 6:9-11

We have so much more to follow after instead, and we want our treasures above and our heart there with the Lord and on our future with Him if we overcome and are not snared down here.

Hold fast to the Lord and His truth, sisters! Mercy, peace, and love unto you in His name.

Today's Edification (24 February 2026)

Hello again sister saints!

I hope this finds you well wherever you are on the Lord's huge earth! God knows where His saints are even if we do not. That's a comfort.

Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
2 Timothy 2:19

And yes we know faith without fitting actions is dead. Words and passing thoughts of believing in Jesus mean nothing.

My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him.
1 John 3:18-19

And love is what we are to be known for too.

A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
John 13:34-35

Of course we love God first above all, but everything we do is to be done with love.

Let all your things be done with charity.
1 Corinthians 16:14

We want to be at peace with God through His Son and our faith in Him which naturally is believing what He told us to do and actually doing it with His help.

For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;

And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled

In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:

If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

Colossians 1:19-23

Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
2 Peter 3:13-14

Yes this life is to be taken seriously. Sadly there is so much foolishness in this world but one day all shall be brought low and shall bow to Him.

The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day.
Isaiah 2:11

Yes we want our Lord, who has done great things for us whereof we are glad, to be exalted! To God be the glory!

Hold fast in the faith and truth where you are sisters! The Lord bless and keep you. My love to you in His name.
