Today's Edification (4 February 2026)

Greetings sisters!

I hope you are strong in the faith and pressing on for the kingdom. It's good to live a content and peaceful life submitted to His will and doing our best where He has us. Let's keep striving to grow in being faithful with what works He has given us. We don't all have the same life and sometimes we may think we would want something different. But we don't want to have that mindset lest we be coveting or unthankful. May we be diligent with what we have. This scripture comes to mind.

He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.

If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?

And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man's, who shall give you that which is your own?

No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Luke 16:10-13

We trust the Lord knows best for us and we want to make the most of what we have. And we have so very many blessings, spiritual as well as much more than food and clothing. God's mercies and faithfulness are very great.

I'm sharing some scriptures on diligent as we want to be that too.

Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently.
Psalm 119:4

He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.
Proverbs 10:4

He that diligently seeketh good procureth favour: but he that seeketh mischief, it shall come unto him.
Proverbs 11:27

The slothful man roasteth not that which he took in hunting: but the substance of a diligent man is precious.
Proverbs 12:27

The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat.
Proverbs 13:4

Be thou diligent to know the state of thy flocks, and look well to thy herds.
Proverbs 27:23

Well reported of for good works; if she have brought up children, if she have lodged strangers, if she have washed the saints' feet, if she have relieved the afflicted, if she have diligently followed every good work.
1 Timothy 5:10

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Hebrews 11:6

Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;
Hebrews 12:15

Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
2 Peter 3:14

His Word is good and we live by it. May we hold fast to the truth in a world of the opposite, and unbelievable blindness. Thank God for showing us the truth and may we treasure it.

Strive on sisters! Love to you in the faith of Jesus.

Today's Edification (3 February 2026)

Hello again sisters!

The Lord is worthy to be praised another day...and for all eternity which we hope to get with Him. I am able to drop in again to share some edifying.

I hope these scriptures strengthen your faith and help you to press on!

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Hebrews 11:1

For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

2 Corinthians 4:17-18

That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:

Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

1 Peter 1:7-9

Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:

(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

2 Corinthians 5:6-10

They are encouraging yet also sobering. We have not got to the end of our race yet. The Lord keep us from stumbling or being distracted from it. May our heart and mind be on things above, the Lord and our eternal reward. And we also are to be vigilant to the dangers around us and aware and on guard. And of course we have so many physical things to do which we want to do well as unto Him as well. I'm glad to be set free from idle things and that which is vain and also not pleasing to Him. Plenty to occupy in good things and even in the quieter times we can ponder and examine our lives etc and how we can do better.

Keep pressing on in the life you have sisters! Let's not grow weary in any good thing! Love, mercy, and peace unto you.

Today's Edification (2 February 2026)

Greetings sisters!

In His mercies, God has granted us another day. He is faithful! May we be to Him. He must always be first in our lives.

Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.

Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:

Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

1 Peter 5:5-7

And while 'clothing with humility' simply means being humble, of course it would also include what we wear too. We do not wear things to lift ourselves and our bodies up. That is no doubt pride isn't it. In fact, our long hair as women is also mentioned as being our glory and we cover it so the Lord is glorified, not us.

As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
1 Peter 4:10-11

Reminds me of these scriptures too...

That no flesh should glory in his presence.
1 Corinthians 1:29

As many as desire to make a fair shew in the flesh, they constrain you to be circumcised; only lest they should suffer persecution for the cross of Christ.

For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh.

But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.

Galatians 6:12-15

He must increase, but I must decrease.
John 3:30

Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.
1 Corinthians 10:31

Everything is to be for His glory! May our lives reflect His ways and character for all, including to those who do not read His Word.

Keep pressing on in your duties, sisters, and in the faith through all trials! If we have an easy life that is also something to be careful of too, that we don't get complacent and such. May we keep on guard and keep growing in the knowledge of our Lord and in our faith and obedience.

Love to you in His name. If He wills, I will write again tomorrow.

Today's Edification (1 February 2026)

Hello sisters!

A new month is here and a new day of His mercies. We have many choices to make each day. But we have His Word and Spirit to guide us through this world. May our decisions be based on His Word and in light of eternity.

Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.

But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.

This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.

For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

James 3:13-18

That is a good scripture contrasting bad wisdom versus good wisdom. We know the wisdom of this world is foolishness to God and that the world thinks God's wisdom is foolish and that we are fools too. But one day everything will be put right and all shall know. We hope and pray all come to repentance. But man's heart is hard and we know there is much spiritual blindness. May we hold fast to His Word and all sound doctrine, sisters. We reject that which is contrary to His Word or which are the additions of man.

We have been warned how things will be...

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
2 Timothy 4:3-4

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 Timothy 3:1

Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
1 Timothy 4:1

But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.

And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

2 Peter 2:1-3

And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
Matthew 24:11-13

Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Matthew 7:15

Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
2 Peter 3:3-4

For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.

And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

2 Corinthians 11:13-15

But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;

And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

2 Timothy 3:13-17

That is a lot of warning for us! It is not a picture of things getting better but worse as time goes on, isn't it. Let us be very wary and test all things to the scriptures. May He help us to stand faithful in these times.

Love, mercy, and peace to my godly sisters in Christ our Redeemer.

Today's Edification (31 January 2026)

Greetings sisters!

I hope this finds you doing well in the faith and as well as possible physically.

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth.

I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.

Beloved, thou doest faithfully whatsoever thou doest to the brethren, and to strangers;

3 John 1:2-5

Time goes fast and another month is over so it is time for a picture catch up post. I'm just dropping them off here and they're not exactly in the best order but it doesn't matter. There's so many things that don't or shouldn't bother us that simply do not matter in light of eternity. It's quite freeing actually.

Thankful to get some fruit from the trees though a lot of them are having a year off.

There's been a number of days above 40C here. It's rough on the garden but water makes a big difference to keep life going! These pumpkins perked right back up within a few hours simply because the temperature dropped in the evening. I think God made them conserve moisture that way, when their leaves go all floppy.

Just a peaceful view as I sit and wait for the hose to run on the plants.

Starting to get tomatoes too and some are really chubby...

Cabbages which thankfully survived the cow being in the garden...so far at least.

Nice looking through the pumpkin jungle...

So slow to produce fruit, the pumpkins are, and there's not yet many on the plants at all. Hopefully they get going soon though!

Zucchini flower is so big...

We got so many cucumbers that I made some pickles.

One evening's various garden pickings...

Loads of tomatoes are coming in now...

The Lord is good to provide. He is good even if everything fails too! This verse would be extra encouraging in those times...
Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.
Habakkuk 3:17-18

And so I keep being a 'husbandman', tending the garden, and reaping the precious fruits of the earth after much labour and patience.
Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.
James 5:7-8

Just a pretty picture from my travels to help with the children...

The farmer was gathering up the hay when I was at the children's so they enjoyed watching that.

Sourdough pizzas...

I thought the dough looked nice...

The Lord is providing daily bread!

Sourdough chocolate muffins...

And sourdough zucchini bread...

It's that time of year again when you have to cook with the garden produce in as many ways as possible to use them up before they go bad! It's quite a good challenge though!

I have been doing a reasonable amount of sewing and shipping out a few orders too.

Restocking my store with a large amount of headcoverings too. I also am adding a smaller  size for girls. I don't have any girls to see what size would work best though...so I am doing my best!

Still cleaning several times a week which helps with buying all the fabric for my sewing store too! The Lord is providing.

And I think I am learning that cleaning is not about chemicals for the most part but about technique and the right tools. Water is my best chemical anyway! I just don't like using dangerous chemicals if I don't need to. It's not worth it and many times unnecessary. But as I said in my last picture post I believe, I am making a few of my own cleaning 'recipes'.

I thought the bees in the artichoke flower were nice to see...

Looks very much like summer here...

There was a fire sort of near here but glad it didn't get too bad, though it burned a few houses sadly. But hundreds of homes have been burned this summer already in this country but it is part of life really as man is so puny compared to His creations and you hope people have their treasures in heaven. We want to have our heart prepared to lose it all too and I really value not having too much stuff!

This is coming on the earth anyway...

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

2 Peter 3:10-14

Pretty clouds.

And beautiful night sky one night.

That is pointing south and this one looking north, with the same camera settings.

Just the camera picks up more colour than our eyes do. We pretty much see in black and white in the dark don't we. But I still did get to see that aurora in shafts of light moving slowly in the sky. Glory to God for all the beautiful things He made!

We are blessed to be able to physically see His creations and blessings. He is good!

Nevertheless he left not himself without witness, in that he did good, and gave us rain from heaven, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.
Acts 14:17

More importantly, how blessed we are to know the truth of the gospel and to know the one true and living God!

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

John 14:3-6

Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.

This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Acts 4:10-12

Jesus is the only way to heaven and being spared God's eternal wrath. May we find love, grace mercy, peace, forgiveness and hope in Christ Jesus our Saviour!

Keep seeking the truth and walking in it sisters! Until tomorrow and until next month for another picture post, strive on sisters and the Lord watch over all His sheep. Love to you in His name.

Today's Edification (30 January 2026)

Greetings sisters!

The Lord granted me life again today and the ability to come back here and share in the Lord to edify and glorify His worthy name! There is so much in life not to take forgranted. So much has to work together to allow us to do what we consider everyday or normal.

I'm sharing this scripture for us to refresh in what pleases God for us as women. And we see our witness does matter too as God is watching and also other humans are too. Yes we know we have some different roles from the beginning of creation and after Eve sinned, but I am glad to know His place for us His creations and that in Christ all can come, man or woman.

While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear.

Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel;

But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.

For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands:

1 Peter 3:2-5

We want to value what God does don't we sisters. No, we don't value what the world does as that is most likely opposite of what pleases God.

But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
Hebrews 13:16

Yes we still sacrifice for the Lord today, don't we.

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
Romans 12:1

And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.
Ephesians 5:2

But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God.
Philippians 4:18

Keep going for the Lord where He has called you sisters! There's always things to grow in whatever life we have. We need to be faithful with what we do actually have. And we only have today so may we do our best in it for the Lord. He is coming back soon so may we keep being ready.

Love to you in the faith of Jesus.

Today's Edification (29 January 2026)

Hello again sisters!

Hopefully all is well with you especially in the faith. I am doing well here and keeping busy in a variety of things.

I'm sharing some scriptures to remind and encourage us to always be patient and longsuffering. It is pleasing to God.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
Galatians 5:22-23

I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
Ephesians 4:1-3

Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;
Colossians 1:11

Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
Colossians 3:12-13

Of course God is a good example in this too. He has been longsuffering with us and indeed is extremely long suffering with the whole dark evil world which He sees all the time and knows the thoughts of human hearts also.

Being patient and longsuffering also does remind me of being content and thankful too and not complaining.

But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
1 Timothy 6:6-8

Do all things without murmurings and disputings: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;
Philippians 2:14-15

And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
Colossians 3:15

May we continue to walk and grow in His perfect ways. We know He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him too. God is good!

Love, mercy, and peace to you in Jesus our Saviour.

Today's Edification (28 January 2026)

Greetings sisters!

I am dropping in again as God granted me another day. In Him we live and move and have our being. Without Him we can do nothing. He made us and bought us with a price.

I'm sharing this scripture again. It's just one that really shows us a lot of the heart we are to have to others, especially in light of what Christ has done for us. But really when you have the right view of yourself before the Lord, knowing we deserve nothing, then that helps us forgive others and treat them well too I think.

Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?

Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.

Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king, which would take account of his servants.

And when he had begun to reckon, one was brought unto him, which owed him ten thousand talents.

But forasmuch as he had not to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made.

The servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.

Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt.

But the same servant went out, and found one of his fellowservants, which owed him an hundred pence: and he laid hands on him, and took him by the throat, saying, Pay me that thou owest.

And his fellowservant fell down at his feet, and besought him, saying, Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.

And he would not: but went and cast him into prison, till he should pay the debt.

So when his fellowservants saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told unto their lord all that was done.

Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me:

Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee?

And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him.

So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.

Matthew 18:21-35

His Word is better than mine of course so I will leave it there for today. Indeed we ourselves have been forgiven a great unpayable debt...how can we not forgive the puny wrong doings of others against us. We can.

I hope you keep pressing on in His ways, sisters! We know His coming draws nearer. May we be ready at all times. Love to you in His name.

Today's Edification (27 January 2026)

Greetings sisters!

I hope you're standing strong and faithful to the Lord wherever you are on this earth. We know that life is short really so we want to prepare for our eternal existence. This is wisdom. Yes it may seem foolish to the world but one day they won't think that I am sure. But to us now it matters what the Lord thinks.

I was pondering on hospitality and what it is and could look like in our lives, even if it doesn't involve 'having others in our homes' which it normally makes you think of.

Use hospitality one to another without grudging.
1 Peter 4:9

Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.
Romans 12:13

It reminded me of these scriptures too...

For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?

And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?

Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

Matthew 5:46-48

And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.

For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them.

And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same.

And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again.

But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.

Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.

Luke 6:31-36

This is the high calling we have in Christ Jesus isn't it, sisters. It's easier to love those that love you but we are to love and do good to those who hate and do evil to us as well, and everyone in between. Think of our Saviour. He did good to those who were mistreating Him. He didn't retaliate or hurt back but said, "Father, forgive them for they know not what they do.". May we have the heart and mind of Christ with His help. He died for you and me too while we were yet sinners. May that keep us humble and thankful, and merciful to those around us.

For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

Romans 5:6-9

So may we hold fast to Christ and His teachings. It will have serious consequences if we do not, for He is the only one which we can be saved by. Outside of Him is no hope.

Press on in all the ways for godly women, sisters, and I will strive to here as well. Love, mercy, and peace unto you in His name. Be strong and of good courage to keep living by faith in obedience to Him in a wicked world. May our Lord come soon but I am thankful for His longsuffering on mankind too. May all His sheep be found. To God be the glory!
