Greetings sisters!
I get to be back and share some edifying in the Lord with you. Those seeking after His ways and actually being doers of the Word are rare. But one day many shall be gathered from all parts of the earth together with Him. We just can't see all His saints past and present but they will all add up to many. Let us just keep pressing on for that righteous kingdom to come! We want to endure unto the very end with His help!
There's so much that isn't true in this world, so it's a blessing we have the truth of His Word and sound doctrine! Let us feed on it and live!
But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine:
That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience.
The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;
That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,
To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded.
In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,
Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.
Exhort servants to be obedient unto their own masters, and to please them well in all things; not answering again;
Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
Titus 2:1-14
There's a lot in there for us to ponder indeed. His truth changes us! Repentance is key for our salvation. We turn from our old life and from all sins and that which is contrary to truth and choose His ways instead! And no doubt it is an ongoing process as we learn to discern good and evil.
We have that part in the scripture above that is written for us as women whether we be young or old. I'm thankful to know His will! May we keep testing our lives and make sure we are being obedient in all things. It is God's ways and not what we think or feel like.
Keep pressing on in all good works unto the Lord, sisters!
Love unto you in His name.
