Greetings sisters!
Praise God for another day of His mercies and grace on us! And with that thought in mind we want to go forth in our days walking worthy of Him in holiness and righteousness. He is worthy of so much. It is good to ponder our lives and make sure we are pleasing Him and doing the best we can in what He has given us.
God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;
Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;
And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;
That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:
For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.
Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.
And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:
Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.
Acts 17:24-31
A good scripture of how things are in the world. Yes all people everywhere are commanded to repent for our Saviour died for all!
For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.2 Corinthians 5:14-15
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.John 3:16-17
His Word of His true gospel has gone into many parts of the earth with the translation of the Bible. Yet still so few heed it and most twist it and add or take away from it. But may we take all of it and change our lives to conform to it. The Lord help us as we know there is massive deception in those claiming His name. We need to be careful and on guard. We know our adversary is a master deceiver.
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.1 Peter 5:8-9
For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.2 Corinthians 11:13-15
May we know the truth so we can more easily see that which is false. But we need the Lord's help of course as we cannot always see things right away.
Keep pressing on in all your duties, sisters! Be strong and of good courage to continue in faith and obedience! Love to you in His name.
