Today's Edification (9 April 2026)

Greetings sister saints!

Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

Ephesians 1:2-4

To God be the glory on this day and forever for all His goodness and for all He has done for us!

I hope you are pressing on in your days! We have so much encouragement in the Lord and His Word! We have nothing to complain about! And we shouldn't anyway even if we think we do. We have so much to be grateful for what God has done for us especially in giving us a Saviour! We want to keep what matters in the front of our minds and a lot else just does fade away compared to that. They don't matter. God's ways are really good aren't they sisters. May we keep seeking to walk in them!

O how love I thy law! it is my meditation all the day.

Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.

Psalm 119:97, 165

The whole of Psalm 119 is great to encourage us in loving His ways too! We love them because we love Him and know He is our Creator and Master and we see how horrible it is when humans forsake His ways. And we love Him because He first loved us!

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
John 3:16-17

We love him, because he first loved us.

If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?

And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.

1 John 4:19-21

Yes we have much to now do. And that is where we are today. We want to be faithful in each day and all those days add up to a life of faithfulness. May we keep seeking His will, sisters. We have so much guidance in the Word so may we be doing that and not just reading. Keep striving on sisters! Love, mercy, and peace unto you in His name

Hello sisters!

God in His grace and mercy granted me another day and you too if you're reading. I hope you are pressing on in truth and holiness with strength and joy! Our God is good! What a great privilege to know and serve the one and only living God!

But the LORD is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation.
Jeremiah 10:10

And we receive His precious Son whom He sent us to be our Saviour.

That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.

He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

John 1:9-14

We need Him so much, for we are lost and hopeless without Him. There is no forgiveness without shed blood.

Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;

But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,

Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.

Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:

Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:

But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.

1 Peter 1:18-25

Praise God for giving us hope when we don't deserve it. So may we press on in hope in Him, sisters, and keep going strong in all our physical duties which please Him too.

Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
Romans 15:13

Hello sisters!

I get to drop in quickly on a very busy day the Lord gave me. I hope all is well with you, my sisters in the Lord. Or if there does happen to be anyone else reading, I hope and pray you will become a child of God. So much is at stake and we do not know how long we each have in these temporary bodies before we enter eternity and face judgement. We cannot change then. Christ is the only way to the Father in heaven. He died for us, for our forgiveness. He rose again for our justification and we too have that hope of a resurrection if we repent and obey Him. He has done so much for us and continues to do so if we become His children and are born of His Spirit.
I thought on my ways, and turned my feet unto thy testimonies. I made haste, and delayed not to keep thy commandments.
Psalm 119:59-60

But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end. Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice, Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:
Hebrews 3:6-8

Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.
Luke 12:40

Strive on and hold fast, sisters! Love, mercy, and peace in Christ our Redeemer.

Today's Edification (6 April 2026)

Greetings sisters!

I hope you are keeping the faith where you are! We need to overcome through faith, so may ours be strong. We can truly trust in a God who cannot lie. And we too love the truth and hate falsehoods and evil.

His ways are so good so I am simply sharing them to refresh us in good things! And we see it is a command to action on our part too so may we ponder our lives and make sure we are walking in these beautiful ways!

Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;

Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.

And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.

And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

Colossians 3:12-15

Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,

Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;

Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;

Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

1 Corinthians 13:4-7

And do we have the wisdom from above?

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.
James 3:17-18

These are the truly blessed ones according to Jesus who is the truth...

Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.

Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

Matthew 5:3-12

These are all encouraging and edifying to refresh in in such a world as ours. May we examine our own lives regularly and keep pressing forwards in these ways and all the rest.

Keep striving on as godly women, sisters. We are thankful for God's mercy on us and continue to seek and need His mercy day by day.

Love to you in His holy name.

Hello sister saints!

I am able to write again to edify and encourage us all in the Lord and His truth! I hope you are getting your strength and joy from the Lord and His goodness!

Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
Romans 15:13

Hope is a precious gift in a world that's lost and hopeless without Christ. He is our only hope. Sad that so few cleave to Him. But we need to keep on guard ourselves and take heed.

We know that having a meek and quiet spirit is of great price to God. We know that women are not to be teaching or having authority over man and to keep silence in the gathering of saints. We also see from the Word that women never had an active role in being evangelists in the way men did.

And to have this demeanor is not weakness but pleasing to God who tells us all how we are to live. And we submit to Him, no excuses.

I think of Jesus standing silent before His accusers. He could have said it all but He stood in silence. I believe this can take a lot of strength, when we want to defend ourselves and we can, but choose not to. We know a soft answer turns away wrath. It is the natural desire of the flesh to defend itself. But we as believers can submit to the Lord who knows and sees all things. We are to choose the ways of peace and avoid contention and strife which is of the flesh. There is a lot of guidance on the Word on all this for which I am grateful!

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
2 Timothy 3:16-17

This is a good scripture to ponder on...

This wisdom have I seen also under the sun, and it seemed great unto me:

There was a little city, and few men within it; and there came a great king against it, and besieged it, and built great bulwarks against it:

Now there was found in it a poor wise man, and he by his wisdom delivered the city; yet no man remembered that same poor man.

Then said I, Wisdom is better than strength: nevertheless the poor man's wisdom is despised, and his words are not heard.

The words of wise men are heard in quiet more than the cry of him that ruleth among fools.

Wisdom is better than weapons of war: but one sinner destroyeth much good.

Ecclesiastes 9:13-18

And we women want to be wise too and that indeed begins with fearing God and obeying Him.

Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.

She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.

She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.

Proverbs 31:25-27

Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands.
Proverbs 14:1

And of course believing the gospel is true wisdom though thought foolish by the world.

Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.
1 Corinthians 3:18-19

So may we press on and keep seeking to be faithful in the ways God has for us as women. May He help us.

Love, mercy, and peace unto you in Jesus' name.

Hello sisters!

I hope this finds you well and pressing on in the faith wherever you are!

Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved.
Philippians 4:1
Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.
2 Thessalonians 2:15

Here are some reminders for us women on what we are to be...

The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
Titus 2:3-5

Good for us to have a long and hard look at and reflect on our lives often of how we are doing...in the things that apply to us. For we do not want the word of God to be blasphemed. It is a big responsibility to bear His name for we do not want to take it in vain. We know faith without works is dead. We cannot claim to believe and then have our actions suggest otherwise. All shall be judged by their works. May we fear God.

Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.
Proverbs 31:30

We want to be truly wise and not foolish.

And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.
Job 28:28
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.
Psalm 111:10

So I encourage you to keep holding fast and growing in the Lord and in discerning good and evil. The Lord helps His children. My love unto you sisters.

Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong. Let all your things be done with charity.
1 Corinthians 16:13-14

Today's Edification (3 April 2026)

Greetings sisters!

I am back to edify in the Lord today. Hopefully you are pressing on in the faith. Ultimately that is most important of course, isn't it, as there will always be trials, and our earthly bodies are decaying and will die any day. But our soul is eternal. All the things around us too will be burned up in the end, and even now they may vanish away in an instant. So we do not want to be wrapped up in all the earthly things. While we are to be faithful in the physical things too, our faith towards God and our love for Him, and seeking His kingdom are always to be first. He has granted us many extra blessings but we are to be content with food and raiment even if it's one set of clothing and one day's worth of simple food that He keeps providing. Jesus clearly taught how He cares for the animals even when they don't have gardens and farms etc so we are not to be faithless but believe and trust. Paul also shared how he had learned to be content with little or much.

But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye were also careful, but ye lacked opportunity.

Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.

I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Notwithstanding ye have well done, that ye did communicate with my affliction.

Philippians 4:10-14

And humans are of course of more value than the animals.

And he said unto them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it out? How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days.
Matthew 12:11-12

Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.
Matthew 10:31

And I am sharing this parable too as it's good to be reminded of how things are in the world as it moves towards that great day of harvest.

Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:

But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.

But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.

So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?

He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?

But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.

Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

Matthew 13:24-30

Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.

He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;

The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;

The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.

As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.

The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;

And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Matthew 13:36-43

May we be ready, sisters. Precious promises are ahead for those who believe and obey. May we keep striving on as there are many dangers down here still. We are not there yet. We want to be faithful to the end like Paul was.

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
2 Timothy 4:7-8

Let us keep pressing on for the kingdom! Love unto you in His name.

Hello sisters!

I get to write again and share a little in the Lord on another busy day. It is important to keep our hearts and minds on things above while we go about our works down here. We need to keep them all in perspective too. I hope you are holding fast in the faith where you are!

We do not need to read far in His Word, the new testament in particular, to see that love has a very high place for us. And of course God gave us the perfect example in that in sending us His beloved Son.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
John 3:16-17

Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
Romans 13:8

And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
Colossians 3:14

Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
Romans 13:10

And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.
1 Corinthians 13:13

A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
 John 13:34-35

There is so much hatred in this world. But may we show the Lord's good ways. He made us and we are bought with a price and are not our own. May we continue to surrender to His will in all areas, willingly!

May we not grow weary in well doing, sisters! In due season we will reap if we faint not!

Peace be to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen.
Ephesians 6:23-24

Greetings sisters!

I am able to drop in briefly on a busy day here. I'm sure you have busy lives too, some days and times more than others. But I still want to encourage you in your works where we are! It is important to focus on the Lord and seek first His kingdom and righteousness. All this world will pass away one day. And only that which cannot be shaken will remain. But we will be judged by our works here.

See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:

Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.

And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.

Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:

For our God is a consuming fire.

Hebrews 12:25-29

Yes we must take very seriously all these things. Let us be truly wise and fear Him.

In the fear of the LORD is strong confidence: and his children shall have a place of refuge. The fear of the LORD is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death.
Proverbs 14:26-27

Keep fighting the good fight of faith sisters! Our God is good and will reward the faithful. Love to you in His name.

Today's Edification (31 March 2026)

Greetings sisters!

I am able to be here to share some edifying for another day our Lord granted us in His mercy.

This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.
Lamentations 3:21-25

Every day and always we can rest in His goodness and have hope to keep pressing on in the truth. He rewards those who diligently seek Him!

Another month is over too. Time is moving steadily on in one direction. May we keep seeking to redeem it in useful and good things in the lives the Lord has called us.

It is time for a picture catch up post too! Just dropping any I have from the last month in here.

Garden harvesting continues...

And satisfying being able to store some up to keep longer.

Pears and tomatoes.

And more still growing...

Always good to see fruits coming along, hopeful of a harvest to come.

And getting ready to put in next season crops. Thankful to have compost as the soil is really sandy, and water repellent especially this time of year.

Putting some trellises up for snow peas.

Garlic going into the soil...

And carrots, cauliflower, broccoli, and beetroot seeds going in...

And it doesn't take long for some to come up.

Satisfying using a lot of things from the garden for food! The Lord blesses us with daily bread.

Still cleaning a few times a week which is a blessing too.

Some have amazing ocean views...

But I wouldn't want to live that way myself with a huge house to take care of and fill up with more stuff. Simple is good and we are just passing through this world and we want our treasures above.

Bird didn't like his reflection in the car mirror...

We were blessed with some rain early in the month...

Sometimes a walk in the rain can be peaceful especially after it being so dry!

And it came up green in places which is refreshing to see...

Always changing things to see in His creations for His glory!

So that's about it I think for another month. We know not what a day may bring forth let alone a month. May we redeem the time the best we can in wisdom. I'm sure you're all keeping occupied in a variety of things too. It is a blessing to labour to provide for our food and for others.

Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.
Proverbs 27:1

See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
Ephesians 5:15-17

Keep going with strength, joy, zeal and courage in all your duties, sisters! The Lord sees! May we labour as unto Him, knowing it is what He wants us to be doing. Love to you in His name.

Today's Edification (30 March 2026)

Greetings my sisters in Christ!

I hope you are going well and holding fast and keeping occupied in good things!

It is interesting to ponder what Jesus said about who His family was...

And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren! For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.
Matthew 12:49-50

And so it is today that there is our spiritual family, all godly men and women, past, present and future, around the world. And these shall all be gathered together to be with our Father for all eternity one day. But we shall be as the angels of God and not as we are today for flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom.

And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage:

But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:

Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.

Luke 20:34-36

Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.

But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

1 Corinthians 15:50-58

Keep pressing on for the kingdom, sisters! We have to have the right to be there one day.

Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
Revelation 22:14

May we strive on in faith and obedience in Christ! Love, mercy, and peace unto you in His name.

Today's Edification (29 March 2026)

Greetings sisters!

Another day is here to press on by faith! I hope you are doing just that.

For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

2 Corinthians 4:16-18

There is a lot of depth to grow in in faith and it's a simple yet deep concept to grasp and put into practice.

Hebrews 11 is an interesting chapter to see what faith looks like.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen....But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Hebrews 11:1,6

It is encouraging to read about other saints who were faithful, including in many difficult circumstances. Indeed that is where faith is often proved, isn't it.

And we know especially now under the new covenant, faith has a very high importance indeed. By it we will overcome and obey as faith without works is dead.

For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
1 John 5:4

And we see in the Word also, that lack of faith leads to doubt and fear. So we have a lot to study on it and make sure our faith is strong in our Father and in our Saviour! One day we shall see Him if we remain faithful to Him!

Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
1 John 3:2-3

Hold fast sisters! Love, mercy, and peace to you in the Lord who gives all good things.

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
James 1:17-18
