Daughters for His Glory

Today's Edification (30 September 2026)

Greetings sister saints!

I hope all is well with you wherever you are! God knows where all of His children are. We know we see that most people are of this world, walking in its evil ways. Most who say they are His children are also caught up in this world and its lusts and pleasures in varying ways and degrees. But God calls us out of this world. We are in it and need to have many dealings and interactions with it all and use what it makes etc. I am writing this blog on a phone and while itself cannot be evil, but can be a good and useful tool, it is a production of the world and clearly used for much evil also. But we just need to walk wisely through it all and use what we need to of it for good and for God's glory.

See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
Ephesians 5:15-17

Another month has come to an end! I'm dumping this month's pictures in here. Not quite so much time for an explanation this month though. I'm helping my sister and her family move so that's a somewhat challenging time. Well lots of cleaning and preparation work first. And lots of travel back and forth and trying to keep up on the garden and my cleaning jobs and everything else!

Such a blessing when there's so many veggies in a meal! God is good to provide!

The onions are happy...

I planted them earlier this year and the Lord also sent more rain, so hopefully there's some big onions there to harvest in a month or two, Lord willing!

Need to always watch out for these creatures in these warmer seasons...

But we also need to watch out for spiritual dangers more importantly.

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
1 Peter 5:8-9

Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.
Proverbs 4:26

This was just the most beautiful day weather wise!

I had a rare moment to sit on the deck for a break on a rare day when I didn't need to go out anywhere. Or sometimes you have to make yourself just stop when there is so much to do and you can! And you learn you have to say no as well. I needed to go through being sick with the flu as well but there's always a lot to be thankful for in the Lord and He knows best!

Amen, He is our source of joy because He is good!

I will love thee, O LORD, my strength.
Psalm 18:1

There's so many flowers this time of year! The seasons are amazing with each one unique but with particular challenges and blessings. So much variety in the flowers God made of colours and sizes and textures and shapes! It is all a testimony to Him and His greatness!

And pretty grasses and 'weeds' everywhere too.

But soon the grasses and flowers will be withered away and brown. Let us labour for that which is eternal!

There's these really unique mosses on the shady side of an old vehicle...

They look amazing up close!

We have an amazing Creator who can do anything!

Rare moment at a cleaning job I have where it's a big job, there's no one there, and I can take breaks with a beautiful view when needed. Most jobs I have to kinda rush through without breaks but in busier times, small moments of rest can seem like big blessings for our tired bodies!

Keep pressing through the work the Lord has given you, sisters! Let us rest in Christ for our salvation and continue in our faith in Him

So that is another month gone (You can see last month's post here.). May we continue to seek to redeem the time in good and useful things while keeping the faith and truth of Jesus.

So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.
Return, O LORD, how long? and let it repent thee concerning thy servants.
O satisfy us early with thy mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.
Make us glad according to the days wherein thou hast afflicted us, and the years wherein we have seen evil.
Let thy work appear unto thy servants, and thy glory unto their children.
And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.
Psalm 90:12-17

Hello sisters!

I'm back briefly!

Good to ponder on being holy as we have been called to it and there are scriptures related to women on it...

Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives;
While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear.
Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel;
But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.
For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands:
Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement.
1 Peter 3:1-6

Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.
1 Timothy 2:15

The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;
That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,
To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

Holiness is a beautiful things. God's ways are good.

Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
Psalm 29:2

For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.
1 Thessalonians 4:7

And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
Ephesians 4:24

Let us walk in the Lord's holy ways! Our faith is perfected by good actions!

Today's Edification (28 September 2026)

Hello sisters!

I hope you're pressing through all you need to and are looking to the Lord for strength! I need to do that!

Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.
He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Isaiah 40:28-31

He is so strong!

And here's some simple encouragement for us to keep obeying our Lord in a disobedient world. God's ways are good and humans are missing out on the best our Creator had for us. But let us fight to do what's right and not what our flesh wants or what people think or tell us to do.

And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
1 John 2:3-6

Keep doing what's right sisters, right where you are! Be strong and of good courage!

Today's Edification (27 September 2026)

Greetings sisters!

Let us hope in His mercy another day He gave us on this earth! It is a blessing to know Him and His Word and that we can seek to know Him more and more!

But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
2 Peter 3:18

God is the judge...

Who will render to every man according to his deeds:
To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:
But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,
Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;
But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:
For there is no respect of persons with God.
Romans 2:6-11

Let us focus on our own actions and patiently continue in well doing! And we know we are commanded to do good in return for any evil people may do to us no matter how big or small. Let us seek to please Him above all else and deny our flesh.

I have a really busy section of life ahead of me so Lord willing I will be able to drop in each day as it is important to ponder on the things of the Lord. But sometimes we get stretched to our max! I'm sure you sisters have times like that too. We need to also make the most of any times of rest we can as well, during such times. Our bodies are weak but He is strong! Keep pressing on as well as you can in your own duties, sisters! Most of all, keep the faith!

Today's Edification (26 September 2026)

Greetings sisters!

I trust you are doing well and pressing on in the faith! God knows where all His children are. I know we all have the Lord for our help and comfort and strength! We are living on this earth God made and in an evil world of our adversary and human sin. God wants us here and He will keep us from evil. We need to stay close to Him though. We have been warned of the dangers of this world and its lusts and deceptions. We must keep ourselves unspotted from it. We are not to love this world and the things of it. But we are here for now as wheat growing among tares until the harvest. And we also are lights in this dark world as we walk in His truth and light!

May we stay close to Christ who is our life. He is the only way and all outside of Him are lost lest they repent. It's sobering really but let us follow after our good Shepherd!

And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
1 John 5:11-12

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.
For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;
And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.
Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,

When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

Let us hold fast to Christ who is our life! There is only bad things outside of Him; outside of believing and obeying Him. We want to be found of Him in peace on that great day.

For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
Revelation 6:17

It's a good question. Will we be able to stand, sisters?

Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
Ecclesiastes 12:13-14

Press on in all good things, sisters!

Today's Edification (25 September 2026)

Hello sisters!

I get to write here again as the Lord allowed! Each day has many mercies in it and we can look for them and know them and be so thankful and filled with hope! And no doubt they ought to help us to love Him and be living in a manner worthy of Him. His goodness leads us to repentance.

I'm sharing a few scriptures that speak about those things which are eternal. This world is perishing but we want to live for things that last forever!

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
1 Peter 1:3-4

And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.
1 Peter 5:4

For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
2 Corinthians 5:1

Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

This world is set for the judgment and destruction of God. We have a high calling and have been told how we ought to live.

Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
2 Peter 3:11-14

Strive on, sisters! Our redemption draws nearer. May we not grow weary in well doing!

Today's Edification (24 September 2026)

Greetings sisters!

A new day of His mercies is here! Let us be glad in Him and press on in hope!

We are not our own as we have been bought with a price. Let us live for the glory of God!

And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.
2 Corinthians 5:15

Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
John 15:8

And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;

Today's Edification (23 September 2026)

Hello sisters!

I get to drop in again today! Hope you're going OK where you are! No matter what, we have the Lord through all things! Let us draw strength from Him and His goodness!

May we hold fast and stand strong in a dark world that we live in.

But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.
Hebrews 3:6

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
Hebrews 10:22-24

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Today's Edification (22 September 2026)

Greetings sisters!

I hope you're pressing on where you are! The Lord sees all His people and everyone else of course. He knows the thoughts and intents of the hearts as well.

I'm having an extra busy time here it seems. But life is like that, often changing, but sometimes staying much the same. But we are to be occupying in useful and good things. We are not our own, but here to serve others. Our Saviour, Lord of the whole earth, came and served us and laid down His life for us. Such love that is.

I'm sharing some older scripture pictures today to edify and encourage us! His Word and creations are good!

I'm encouraging you to keep seeking after the truth and living it! We do not want to hold onto anything here which causes us to lose our own souls. May we have nothing between us and God. He is the only God, and we do not want our flesh, or this world or any other thing to come between us and Him.

Fight the good fight of faith, sisters! Be strong and of good courage to keep doing what's right!

Today's Edification (21 September 2026)

Greetings sisters!

Let us reflect on the goodness of God and be filled with joy and hope in Him today and always!

Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
Ephesians 1:2-7

But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Ephesians 2:4-10

Praise God for all His goodness, mercy, love, forgiveness, longsuffering, grace, compassion, and so much more! Let us strive to walk worthy of Him and not take this lightly for we remember His wrath on sin. He had to send His beloved Son to suffer and die, and shed His blood for the washing away of our sins. We know we must repent of our sins and walk in holiness in newness of life through Christ! May He help us. We have His Word and He gives us His Spirit!

Keep walking by faith, sisters!

Today's Edification (20 September 2026)

Hello sisters!

God is good and worthy to be praised on another day He gave us! May we all be seeking first His kingdom and righteousness and loving Him above all.

There's a lot of wisdom and encouragement in the book of Proverbs. I'll share some verses that stood out to edify us today! There's so many though! Good to ponder on. His Word guides us in the way which we should go. I'm thankful for that!

There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty. The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.
Proverbs 11:24-25

Better is a dry morsel, and quietness therewith, than an house full of sacrifices with strife.
Proverbs 17:1

The beginning of strife is as when one letteth out water: therefore leave off contention, before it be meddled with.
Proverbs 17:14

Go from the presence of a foolish man, when thou perceivest not in him the lips of knowledge.
Proverbs 14:7

How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver!
Proverbs 16:16

A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.
