Today's Edification (21 October 2026)

Greetings sisters!

I hope you are holding fast in the faith where you are.

We know there is one body of Christ, all His true believers and followers, God's children, but that body is made up of separate members with different roles and functions etc. Just interesting to ponder the correlations God uses to describe spiritual truths using physical things.

For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:
So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.
Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;
Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching;
Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.
Romans 12:3-8

For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
Ephesians 5:30

May it encourage us to do what we can where we are as the particular member God has made us to be!

For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. For the body is not one member, but many.
1 Corinthians 12:12-14

But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.
And if they were all one member, where were the body?
But now are they many members, yet but one body.
And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.
Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary:
And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness.
For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked:
That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.
And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.
Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

Good truth for us to live by and know how it all is!

Keep pressing on as godly women after the commands and examples in the Word, sisters! We will reap in due season if we do not faint. Let us keep the faith to the end, the Lord helping us.

Today's Edification (20 October 2026)

Greetings in the Lord, sisters!

Our lives are all about Him. They should be as He created us and sent us a Saviour when we were hopelessly lost.

These are comforting scriptures about our good God...

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:6-7

Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
1 Peter 5:6-7

How merciful has He been to bear our sins...

He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.
Isaiah 53:11

Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
1 Peter 2:24

It is humbling and ought to completely change how we live.

And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.
2 Corinthians 5:15

But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,
Hebrews 2:9-11

We have a precious Saviour who became as one of us. He was tempted and is able to help those who are tempted. Let us come boldly to the throne of grace. He is worthy!

Keep pressing on in all your daily duties too, sisters! Day by day eternity is coming closer. Let us be truly wise and ponder our use of time in the fear of God. We don't want to gain anything and lose our souls. Strive on in the faith, sisters!

Today's Edification (19 October 2026)

Hello sisters!

I hope you're pressing on in the faith! Nothing else truly matters really does it. But we also care for one another's physical needs of course and I hope you're well and if not, pressing through any challenges. With the Lord, we have what matters most and the promise of eternal life to come.

I'm sharing some scriptures on kindness today! We know the Lord is kind and we are to be also as His children and followers!

Let, I pray thee, thy merciful kindness be for my comfort, according to thy word unto thy servant. Let thy tender mercies come unto me, that I may live: for thy law is my delight.
Psalm 119:76-77

In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the LORD thy Redeemer.
Isaiah 54:8

And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.
Joel 2:13

But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;

To God be the glory for showing us His good ways! He has done so much for us in Christ, how can we not do our best to others? Indeed we have been forgiven so much so we are to freely forgive the comparatively puny things humans do to us. Let us follow our Lord's examples as they are perfect.

Today's Edification (18 October 2026)

Greetings sisters!

Good to have another day to live and serve Him and to be able to write here again! There's always going to be something to share from the Word or our lives. And yes a lot of things are repetitive in life and we do not want to grow weary in them either for they are actually blessings! If there are lots of dishes to wash for example, that means we had food and something to cook and serve it in and we have running warm water and soap and so many other little things that we could take for granted. We are to be content with food and clothing. And most of us I would say have plenty of food and clothing. For that we can be thankful to the Lord for providing. And we also have relatively good health to be able to work. That is a great blessing too!

And most of all we have spiritual blessings in the Lord and in knowing His truth! Just to know our Creator and the one and only true and living God is an unmeasurable gift! Let us rejoice and be glad in Him and His graciousness in allowing us to see and have and know the truth which makes us free indeed!

Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free....If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
John 8:31-32,36

The truth is so important and God is the author of it and we need to change our minds to His truth.

I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.
1 John 2:21

For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
John 1:17

For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth. I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.
3 John 1:3-4

Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
1 Corinthians 5:8

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.
Ephesians 4:25

Let us continue to seek the truth, love it, and walk in it! Our Saviour is truth and is the only way. Let us follow Him!

Today's Edification (17 October 2026)

Hello sisters!

Good day to you in the Lord our Saviour! No matter what, He is our hope and joy. In this world we shall have much tribulation, but He has overcome the world, so we can be of good courage!

I'm pondering on order today.

For this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting, and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed thee:
Titus 1:5

And if any man hunger, let him eat at home; that ye come not together unto condemnation. And the rest will I set in order when I come.
1 Corinthians 11:34

For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the stedfastness of your faith in Christ.
Colossians 2:5

Let all things be done decently and in order.
1 Corinthians 14:40

Women are commanded to be the keepers and guides of their households. This requires a lot of order to keep one running well! Chaos results for sure if there is laziness around.

We know there are levels of authority also, with God the Father as everyone's ultimate authority. And there are angels, His serving spirits. He has ordained earthly governments to be obeyed also. We know women are under the authority of men, specifically their husbands. This is all part of God's order in His creations. Children are under the authority of their parents and are to be kept orderly.

There is order and consistency in His creations also with the sun and moon and the seasons and so much more!

Let us seek to be in our place, our order, under His mighty hand, obedient to His ways which are truly good! And let us also live orderly lives in physical areas too as much as we can.

Today's Edification (16 October 2026)

Hello sisters!

I hope all is well with you, or most of all that you're strong in the faith and holding fast and pressing through all challenges!

It's good to ponder on faith and what it is and looks like in practice. We can look at what it isn't as well. We do not want to be lacking in faith. The Lord help us.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Hebrews 11:1

But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?
Matthew 14:30-31

Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.
John 20:27

Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Matthew 6:30-33

Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:
(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
2 Corinthians 5:6-10

And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.

Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

There's so very many scriptures about faith. It is so important. Let us have it, and of course it affects everything of how we live and act! Faith without works is dead! They cannot be separated. Nor do we seek for signs and wonders which is sight and not faith. We trust in our God in what He has told us through His chosen men and by many eyewitnesses!

To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:
Acts 1:3

For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.
For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount.
We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
2 Peter 1:16-19

Praise God to know this truth! May we hold fast to it and treasure it.

Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field. Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.
Matthew 13:44-46

Let us rejoice and hope in the Lord!

Today's Edification (15 October 2026)

Hello sisters!

Greetings to you in Jesus' name. We are only here because of Him and His graciousness towards us. He is our focus and hope!

I trust you are going along as best you can in all the Lord has given you to do! We are blessed to know the truth and be able to choose what's right each day!

So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.
Psalm 90:12

I'm thankful for our Saviour who accomplished so much for us!

That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
Ephesians 2:12-14

God's children have a lot to be thankful for and we ought to be the most thankful, uncomplaining people. Are we?

Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.
Psalm 100:4-5

Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
Ephesians 5:20

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
Philippians 4:6

Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.

Let us be thankful women, God's daughters, content in whatever life the Lord has given to us!

I find this always encouraging...

Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.
Habakkuk 3:17-18

Job is a good example on the greatest adversity too.

Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped, And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD. In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly.
Job 1:20-22

Let us follow our Lord and other good examples! Press on in hope, sisters!

Today's Edification (14 October 2026)

Greetings sisters!

To God be the glory! Today we have so many blessings not to take for granted! Let us remember them and be filled with joy in the Lord! We remember above all our great God who sent us a Saviour!

And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
Luke 2:10-11

Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.
2 Corinthians 9:15

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Ephesians 2:8

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 6:23

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
Ephesians 1:3-4

We are truly the richest people upon earth. But it is not to take for granted in any way as we must hold fast to the truth, all of it. May we have humble hearts ready to be changed and guided where the Word and Spirit lead us. We need His help! Press on in the faith, sisters!

Blessed be the LORD God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things. And blessed be his glorious name for ever: and let the whole earth be filled with his glory; Amen, and Amen.

Today's Edification (13 October 2026)

Hello sisters!

God gave me life again and the ability to come here to share in the Lord and edify and encourage in His ways! His mercies are very many and new every morning! Great is His faithfulness!

Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;
2 Corinthians 1:3

Hear me, O LORD; for thy lovingkindness is good: turn unto me according to the multitude of thy tender mercies.
Psalm 69:16

And David said unto Gad, I am in a great strait: let me fall now into the hand of the LORD; for very great are his mercies: but let me not fall into the hand of man.
1 Chronicles 21:13

And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.
Joel 2:13

And we are wise to remember His goodness along with His severity, His wrath for sin not repented of.

Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
Romans 11:22

Yes we want to continue in His goodness. We must endure to the end to be saved. We must continue in a lot of things...

And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight: If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;
Colossians 1:21-23

Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;

Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.

Praise God to know the truth which makes us free!

Today's Edification (12 October 2026)

Greetings sisters!

I get to drop in again here after another busy day. I hope you're all keeping occupied in good things in the different lives you have! The Lord has called us where we are, and it's good to look around and see what we should be doing to best redeem the time.

It's just good to ponder on the character of our Lord when He walked the earth and faced mankind.

He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.
Isaiah 53:7

For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:
1 Peter 2:21-23

That seems like such a freeing thing - committing ourselves to Him that judges righteously! Let us do that, sisters.

These are what our Lord taught us as well!

Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
Matthew 5:3-12

God's ways are precious and beautiful! May we seek to live them out in practice for we are doers of the Word and not hearers only.

Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:
Isaiah 29:13

My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him.
1 John 3:18-19

Press on in the faith, sisters, and do not grow weary in any good thing even if it is washing dishes and clothes and keeping the house and such daily necessities! Through it all, may we seek first His kingdom and righteousness!

Today's Edification (11 October 2026)

Greetings sisters!

How are you on this day the Lord granted to us in His mercy, and longsuffering with this world? Hopefully you are holding fast right where He has you! It is also a blessing to have various duties and responsibilities to occupy in. Let us redeem the time in good things!

Our Saviour is our perfect example to follow! I'm glad to know the truth and what pleases Him!

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
John 10:27-28

Today's Edification (10 October 2026)

Greetings sisters!

I get to drop in again on a very busy day. The Lord gives us the time and opportunities we have. We need to choose how we spend our time also. We want to ponder our actions and ways and thoughts and doings and continue to make sure they please Him. May He help us! He is our hope and rejoicing!

But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.
Psalm 3:3

I will be glad and rejoice in thy mercy: for thou hast considered my trouble; thou hast known my soul in adversities;
Psalm 31:7

Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: let such as love thy salvation say continually, The LORD be magnified. But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God.
Psalm 40:16-17

But let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God: yea, let them exceedingly rejoice.
Psalm 68:3

O satisfy us early with thy mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.
Psalm 90:14

The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.
Psalm 126:3

Amen, yes He has and let us look to Him and His goodness for our joy and strength!

Today's Edification (9 October 2026)

Greetings sisters!

I hope you are doing well and holding fast and pressing through all things!

I'm pondering on compassion as it is a beautiful thing. Our God has shown us that ultimately! He is our perfect example. He sent us a Saviour!

There's so much violence on this earth, so it's refreshing when you see people being compassionate. Reminds me of this...

For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)
Romans 2:14-15

People have a conscience though many have seared theirs in various ways. It must have been so terrible before the flood though when it was only evil except Noah who found favour with God.

Anyway, I'm sharing some scriptures that mention compassion.

But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.
Matthew 9:36

The servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all. Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt.
Matthew 18:26-27

And there came a leper to him, beseeching him, and kneeling down to him, and saying unto him, If thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. And Jesus, moved with compassion, put forth his hand, and touched him, and saith unto him, I will; be thou clean.
Mark 1:40-41

Now when he came nigh to the gate of the city, behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow: and much people of the city was with her.
And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not.
And he came and touched the bier: and they that bare him stood still. And he said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise.
And he that was dead sat up, and began to speak. And he delivered him to his mother.
Luke 7:12-15

But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him, And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.
Luke 10:33-34

Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:
Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.
For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:
Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.
1 Peter 3:8-11

Let us have compassion to our fellow humans and indeed we are to return good for evil for those who are not compassionate towards us. The Lord help us follow His ways! We have a high calling to live up to indeed. And all judgement is surely His and His alone.

For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.
John 5:22-23

Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
Romans 12:19-21
