Greetings sisters!
To God be the glory for another day He granted to us in His mercies!
I'm dropping in to share a few scriptures again! I'm sharing some more which talk about being clean and cleansed. A good subject to ponder on.
Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin....Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow....Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.Psalm 51:2,7,10
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess. Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.Matthew 23:25-26
Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.John 15:2-4
But the voice answered me again from heaven, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.Acts 11:9
And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, whereby they have sinned against me; and I will pardon all their iniquities, whereby they have sinned, and whereby they have transgressed against me.Jeremiah 33:8
Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.2 Corinthians 7:1
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.1 John 1:9
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.Ephesians 5:25-27
And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.Revelation 19:8
God's ways are pure and perfect, as He is! Praise Him that we can be washed clean through Christ and His truth! This is a precious gift isn't it, sisters. Let us strive to walk worthy of Him. God is a great Cleaner really! It is a good aspect of Him to ponder on and examine ourselves whether we have allowed Him to clean us. We want His ways don't we sisters and we hate evil which defiles us.
I've had a long day cleaning and need to take my tired body to rest. Another day of it tomorrow if the Lord gives it to me and the strength for it. I hope you're pressing on where you are in the various duties God has given you!
Love, mercy, and peace to you in Jesus our Lord.
