Today's Encouragement (6 June 2023)

Hello sister soldiers!

I am back again and I hope your day in the faith battle is going well! I am striving on here and know of a few sisters who are too!

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
Romans 1:16

I was thinking that many people love that scripture but it's easy for them to not be ashamed if they just have a mere belief in their head that Jesus is God and died for sinners. But they really are ashamed to lose their life and follow Him...because they don't do it. But we sisters take the whole gospel and all that comes and praise God it is a glorious thing indeed not to be ashamed of but most all will try to shame you. It is a powerful gospel that changes lives! We know the Spirit gives us boldness! And we believe and live His truth even if we stand alone.

I love that. Let us submit to Him! After all He is our Father and we His children.

His witness through His creation is all around. There is so much order and it all works together!

So that's the end of the book of Acts! Brother Paul went through many things for the gospel. But he finished his course faithful until the end we know! And we can too! He sure did a lot of teaching...

And when they had appointed him a day, there came many to him into his lodging; to whom he expounded and testified the kingdom of God, persuading them concerning Jesus, both out of the law of Moses, and out of the prophets, from morning till evening.
Acts 28:23

My day is over...

And the sun comes around to shine on His saints on the other side of the earth!

Hold fast to the faith sisters! Christ is coming back sooner every day!

Today's Encouragement (5 June 2023)

Greetings sisters!

This is a brand new day to have the strength to serve the Lord and redeem the time in good works! Hope your day is going well in all that!

Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.
Deliver me, O Lord, from mine enemies: I flee unto thee to hide me.
Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.
Quicken me, O Lord, for thy name's sake: for thy righteousness' sake bring my soul out of trouble.
Psalm 143:8-11

That's a nice psalm.

And I'm thankful for all His written word. We know Jesus used scripture on satan and so can we in our minds and to anyone who comes using His Word out of context.

And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
Matthew 4:6-7

We sisters have to know His Word in order to counter the many false things we will hear from those against us who come bringing parts of His Word. We know we must take it all into account. And we can run to His Word for strength and help and comfort when we hear it so twisted in this deceived world.

I'm sure you sisters are thankful for many blessings in your life. There's so many simple ones that we can overlook but we want to be content and thankful with simple things we need and then for everything on top of that which are extra but much appreciated.

Here's the next scripture reading to edify my sisters today...

Many things Paul went through as part of His sufferings for Christ.

I think that's all from me today. Hold fast until the end sisters! What we have is so precious and to be taken seriously. It will be worth it all to be with the Lord in His light for ever! And He is worthy of our obedience as He made us and owns us! Strive on as stedfast sister soldiers!

Today's Encouragement (4 June 2023)

Greetings sisters!

I hope you're striving on today! God gave us this day to choose to serve Him. And there's constantly choices to make each minute of our day isn't there. We want to make the best ones for Him.

I'm thankful God gave us examples for today of those who rebelled against Him in the past. We don't want to get close to that. We have no excuse.

But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.
Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.
Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.
Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.
1 Corinthians 10:5-6,10-11

If only more people took that seriously. We want to.

Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

Romans 12:1

Let us strive to do that with His power and by walking in His ways. It's such a wicked world and especially with many who claim His name and yet live anything but holy lives. They bring shame upon His name and blaspheme it by doing so. We hope they repent before they lose their souls as we know Jesus said many will be claiming His name yet not known by Him.

Let's keep holding fast to truth and sound doctrine. His Word doesn't change as man changes around us all the time. He is our Rock!

Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
Matthew 7:24-25

Today's Encouragement (3 June 2023)

Greetings sisters!

God gave us another day to serve Him, seeking first His kingdom! Hope your day is good with you overcoming in the faith!

Here's my next scripture reading to edify you....

Praise God for His Word. (and yeah the mosquitos are back it seems so I try my best to read without distraction:-)

I got 2 more gospel bags finished today...

One more for me and one to give to a sister:-)

He sure is our only hope. We know He is our advocate with the Father. Praise God for that as we could never be worthy to do that. Let us faithfully follow and obey Him fervently sisters in order to receive all His precious promises and be acceptable to God in Him.

People look for hope in all sorts of things in this world. But it's short lived and fading away and futile whatever hope they may claim to find in things. And they fight hard for things they think will bring them a better life. But we know our eternal salvation is our hope to come if we endure!

And yeah, with 40,000 apparent flavors of belief in Jesus in that many denominations these days which have come from massive deception, we know to flee from churches. God is not the author of such a mess. We know the signs of a true child of God and that is obedience to God's Word with no excuses...holy and set apart like a chaste virgin. So yeah I'm glad we sisters are set free from that false religion of our day! Let us serve our Saviour in spirit and truth, shining our lights where He has called us and carrying Christ's hope to the lost.

Amen let us hold fast to Him and His truth as it is precious and our only hope and we know we can lose it if we're not careful. Jesus is not a liar in that scripture...or ever like when He said to keep His commandments to abide in His love.

Bearing fruit...that is a sign we are His and connected to the vine isn't it.

Yeah we know we shall suffer in Christ...but that's awesome we also have comfort in Him! He is good to us.

For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake;
Philippians 1:29

True belief in Him will lead to suffering for His name's sake. We don't compromise to fit in with the world or false ways which leads to avoiding suffering.

Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;
2 Timothy 3:12-14

Yes let's continue sisters and know we have been told about deceivers getting worse and worse. We know perilous times are here and getting worse but our redemption draws closer! Hold fast till He comes sisters! Let's keep being godly women keeping to our roles in a world where people are throwing away what God's Word clearly states. But let God be true and every man a liar. Strive on sister soldiers with your armour on!

Today's Encouragement (2 June 2023)

Greetings sisters!

Here's one more day and I'm back. Hope you are fighting on in this faith battle! It is sure worth fighting for! Christ is worthy and our hope is set before us if we endure!

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
Revelation 2:7

God is so good to tell us all He did in His Word and we don't have to wonder. Yes sometimes we may want to know more but we need to be content don't we! He is God and we are not and we're just so thankful that He spared us and will reward us if we overcome!

Thank you sister for these...

Right, we walk by faith and we don't see Him, yet we believe and love Him and can have great joy! As Jesus said, blessed are they who have not seen and yet have believed. Faith is so important isn't it sisters. It's part of our Ephesians 6 armour isn't it with which we quench all the fiery darts of the enemy. And we don't want to be fearful like the disciples were in the storm...but have great faith trusting in God that He is in control.

I love that!

There is a lot on joy in His Word! He is the reason of our joy. All the things on this earth that are fading away, people claim to have joy in but it's all shallow and empty and hopeless really. Let us joy in God and all He has done!

I think that's all I have to share today. Mine was a busy day with gardening, sewing, and housework and of course edifying my sisters. I hope your day is a peaceful one in Him no matter what is going on around you. Hold fast till He comes!

Today's Encouragement (1 June 2023)

Greetings sisters!

I hope this finds you still running the race with patience and not growing weary in well doing! Let's all keep pressing forward. Christ is so worthy!

Here's my sewing project...

...a gospel grocery shopping bag!

I had some iron on heat transfer paper so I put it to good use...

And it has depth to hold whatever you need to put in it...

I'm thankful for it. And thankful to have gospel cards to give to whoever I can. Just another idea if you wanted to sew your own sisters!

And I'd serve you some daily bread if I could...

God is good to provide.

Thank you sister for sharing all these...

He is worthy to be rejoiced about and for all He has done!

Rejoice the soul of thy servant: for unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.
For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.
Psalm 86:4-5

He is too good...let us humbly serve Him.

Yeah we know the wisdom of men is foolishness with God. We want to have the true wisdom which begins with fearing God. And we can have the power of God at work in our lives. Brother Paul said it well here...

And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
2 Corinthians 12:9

Yeah that really puts things straight in our minds. And we will be able to see the fruit of someone not loving Him. We can't just think "Oh well, maybe they really love Him in their hearts" if their fruit is rotten on the outside as we know to obey is to love.

Today's Encouragement (31 May 2023)

Greetings sister soldiers!

Hope you're all standing in the Lord!

But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.
And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.
1 Peter 4:7-8

I love that.

Walking in truth...yes we want to keep doing that!

I love that truth. Good test to see who loves the Lord or not.

Yes may all we do be to God glory! And we strive to walk worthy of Him.

Our Lord is coming back!

And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
Luke 21:27-28

Let's keep watching and be prepared! Hold fast sisters! I hope all your days are joyous no matter what and we are told to rejoice in trials and persecutions too. And Paul said he took pleasure in infirmities. We have the hope of a better life to come, as this sin-laden world is not our home. Let's keep striving on sister soldiers!

Today's Encouragement (30 May 2023)

Greetings sisters!

Coming back to share some edification with you today. Hope all is well with you.

Nothing worth losing our soul over is there...

For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
Mark 8:36

And we know we need to be very diligent with all our actions and we don't want to 'lack one thing' or be holding onto anything before God. We know our soul would be in danger if we were. And the Lord can help us see what we need to change. And sometimes I think how far the culture/world is from God in their wickedness and so we all will be drastically different and have so far to return when we repent...some more than others but we all still aim for God's high and holy ways and forsake all sin that we know of.

And when he would not be persuaded, we ceased, saying, The will of the Lord be done.
Acts 21:14

Yeah that's what we should do isn't it especially in trying circumstances where we don't know what's going on...just submit to Him and put ourselves in His hands.

We can think of Esther saying..."if I perish, I perish".

Go, gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also and my maidens will fast likewise; and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the law: and if I perish, I perish.
Esther 4:16

Or what Job said..."let come on me what will"

Hold your peace, let me alone, that I may speak, and let come on me what will.

Wherefore do I take my flesh in my teeth, and put my life in mine hand?

Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.
Job 13:13-15

Or what our Saviour said...

And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.
Matthew 26:39

Or this too...

Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O Lord God of truth.
Psalm 31:5

Yeah there's something freeing about doing all that...yet it may be the hardest thing to do still what His will may be for us. But we know there is great joy ahead...if we overcome and we plan to don't we sisters...to the very end! And that starts with being faithful in little every single day. We don't want to get near starting to compromise for anything do we. We must hold fast to the truth...and it remains the truth even if people think we need to be relavant to the culture and change the Word today. We must not and we have no authority to do so.

In the Lord, all things work for good if we love Him. And we know this faith life is not one of ease. But He is so worthy and it will be so worth it all! Strive on sisters, no matter what!
