About

Welcome!

I'm glad you are here and thanks for stopping by!

This blog is a place where I can share the gospel with the lost and bring glory to my God through my everyday life. We live in a dying world and people need to hear their only hope in Christ. Most don’t listen…but…perhaps a few might. Are you one of those few?

My desire for my blog is to encourage and edify my sisters in Christ in the ways of a godly woman. We sisters may all be few and far between, scattered in these last days, but my hope is that I can encourage you on in this race we are in for the Lord and His truth and holiness.

Who am I? A sinner-turned-saint washed in the blood of the Lamb and given a new heart to serve Him. See my testimony at the link here. And I would strongly encourage you to test yourself to the true gospel in the Word of God, as so many are deceived in these last days.

Also, I serve an amazing God who is worth sharing about in any way possible. I live to glorify God and His Son Jesus Christ who died for me and made a way for His holy people to live a victorious life through the Spirit.

This world is a wicked dark place. I hope I can shine the truth into a little corner of the internet. As the darkness grows darker, may the few lights grow brighter still and unite in love, one to another as sisters in Christ.

As the Lord allows, I may share anything worthwhile that comes to mind; be it scripture verses and encouragement, homemaking topics such as sewing, cooking or gardening, or nature related posts (we have an incredible Creator, do we not?)

I wrote a post explaining a bit more on "Why Do I Even Have a Blog?".

I also have a small sewing business/ ministry that the Lord has enabled me to set up. You can see it at the link here. I will be adding to it as the Lord provides. I am here to help minister to the saints in providing clothing (like Dorcas in the Bible) so if you are having trouble finding biblical clothing, I may be able to help you out.

About my name I blog under recently...

Chayil (pronounced khah'-yil) is Hebrew for virtuous/strong as in these scriptures...

And now, my daughter, fear not; I will do to thee all that thou requirest: for all the city of my people doth know that thou art a virtuous woman.
Ruth 3:11

Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.
Proverbs 31:10

It goes along with the new life we have in Christ and also new names to come in eternity if we overcome!
