Today's Encouragement (31 October 2022)

Hello sisters!

Hope you're holding fast to Christ and are strong in the faith this day!

I share this scripture today...

Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.
Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.
Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.
(For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:
Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)
For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:
Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.
Philippians 3:13-21

That's a great and encouraging one isn't it and with a good warning in it too.

That's a great scripture and promise too. We know the Lord is ever present and is our Helper if we go to Him!

I must go now as I'm not feeling the best with a cold but I still am thinking of my sisters and wanted to send you some edification! Keep holding fast sister saints!! One day we shall be in a new place free from trials if we overcome!

Today's Encouragement (30 October 2022)

Hello sisters!

One more new day of His mercies towards us! Let us serve Him in this day.

Unless thy law had been my delights, I should then have perished in mine affliction.
I will never forget thy precepts: for with them thou hast quickened me.
I am thine, save me; for I have sought thy precepts.
Psalm 119:92-94

Hope your Titus 2 works are going well and you're not growing weary in well doing! Yes we repeat many things don't we sisters...but it's all good works and we do not want to be slothful but fulfilling what the Lord created us to be doing. We women are helpers and servants aren't we! We know that Jesus said serving is great and we know He was the greatest example of that. So it's a joyous thing isn't it! But in that we don't want to get swept away in the things of this world too much (like Martha perhaps) that we forget what is most important...seeking first God's kingdom and righteousness and doing it unto Him.

In our serving, we do it in a biblical manner and not after the pattern of the world. And of course in serving we may be fulfilling the requests of others and doing things that are not sinful yet not what we would choose ourselves. But the Lord knows our hearts. Keep doing your best unto the Lord sister saints!

But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them.
But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister;
And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant:
Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
Matthew 20:25-28

Praise God for all He made and that we can appreciate it with our eyes and ears etc!

Today's Encouragement (29 October 2022)

Greetings sister saints!

The Lord gave us a new day! One to live for Him and not our flesh or other people.

I hope you're all doing well in the Lord!

Amen! We have so much in Him don't we sisters how can we not be joyous when we remember that, and be strong in Him!

Beautiful fresh sunny morning here...

This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope.
It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.
The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.
Lamentations 3:21-25

What a God of hope we serve and His mercies are great!

Satisfying seeing the rows of veggies emerge from the weeds as they're removed...

It still seems amazing the whole concept of growing food from the ground and how the nutrients and rain/water, and sunshine all work together. And there's so many other things going on that the Lord created to make it all work! Glory to Him!

Today's Encouragement (28 October 2022)

Greetings sisters!

God gave us one more day of time to live for Him! Hope that's your fervent desire today!

A sister and I often talk about how good God is. And He is! I share a few scriptures on that.

He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord.
Psalm 33:5

O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
Psalm 34:8

Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
Romans 11:22

Let us behold His goodness sisters but also remember His severity.

And I read a psalm to edify and encourage us!

Just a pretty creation to give Him glory for!

Garden gatherings of the day...

Still working on processing many cauliflower blessings...

Daily bread the Lord provided on this day...

...with many garden produce. And I'm sure the Lord is providing for you all in one way or another as you trust Him. We want to be content with simple food and raiment don't we sisters! Everything else is an extra blessing! Think of the many extras we have around us daily!

Hope you all have a fruitful and joyous day in the Lord! Hold fast sisters...in the truth!

Today's Encouragement (27 October 2022)

Good day sister saints!

How are you on this new day?! I hope you're well and stedfast in the Lord!

I'm popping back briefly to encourage my sisters on in the Lord! I've been having another busy day in a lot of cleaning but I'm sure you all have those extra busy times sometimes...or often. Good works sisters!

I just share a few pictures from my day. And some scriptures to edify you.

Thy mercy, O Lord, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds.
Thy righteousness is like the great mountains; thy judgments are a great deep: O Lord, thou preservest man and beast.
Psalm 36:5-6

And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
Colossians 3:15

God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all them that are about him.
Psalm 89:7

A lot of washing we do and water we Titus 2 women can use when we do our duties.

So I share some scriptures on the spiritual aspect of washing. Praise God for being able to be washed clean!

And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

1 Corinthians 6:11

That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
Ephesians 5:26-27

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
Hebrews 10:22

And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
Revelation 1:5

Glory to God who alone can make us able to be clean!

My day is over. One more closer to eternity.

Today's Encouragement (26 October 2022)

Greetings godly sisters!

Here's a new day the Lord blessed us with. And we choose to serve Him in it! We know our faith must be living and active and we must endure until the end to be saved. So it's a constant daily thing isn't it sisters where we crucify our flesh and do what is right instead. Praise God to know His ways to walk in and have His Spirit to guide us!

I've had a really busy and long day...so I need to be brief here but I share these scriptures I read this morning...

The Lord taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.

Psalm 147:11

The Lord preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy.

Psalm 145:20

Those are precious and He is such a good God to us all as we don't deserve it all. Glory to Him!

I got the skirts all finished today and packaged up to be sent off on a long trip! How satisfying! Praise God for giving us all we need to get things done!

He provides! And we are thankful!

And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father's business?
Luke 2:49

I think about that scripture sometimes when I think that the world around us may think we ought to be doing what they do or if they want us to join them in something. But no...we're busy about our Father's business...which is to do His will and obey Him isn't it sisters! We're seeking His kingdom and not living for this life down here, or pleasing men, or fulfilling the lusts of the flesh.

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Matthew 7:21

And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
1 John 2:17

Amen...patient continuance in well doing...let that be us sisters striving on! (Thank you for sharing that scripture sister!)

I must go now but I hope all of you, few though you may be, are holding fast to the Lord and His truth stedfast and unwavering! Christ is coming back to gather His own! Let's endure until the end sisters!

Today's Encouragement (25 October 2022)

Greetings sister saints!

I'm back here again to share some simple encouragement for you for God's glory. Hope your day is going well in Him!

So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
1 Corinthians 15:42-44

How awesome is that! Praise Him!

Been a busy day with sewing a skirt...

And finishing another skirt...

How satisfying to be done on things! One more skirt to go before I can get these two orders shipped off!

Pea blessings from the garden for the freezer...

Got the fridge cleaned...

Just some simple Titus 2 peeks into my day. And I know you're all going about yours too...so maybe it's encouraging thinking about (or seeing) other sisters out there doing there work unto the Lord. He sees us all even if we can't see each other. I find it a comfort knowing God knows and sees all things and knows our hearts and motives and more about us than we do!

A sister and I were talking the other day about how good God was and all He is and here's some scriptures she shared which I share here too...

He is so much to us! Glory to Him! And we live to serve Him.

I must go sisters...a lot of busy days I have but not too busy to pop in here and cheer you on in the Lord!

Hold fast sisters, look up, rejoice, be peaceful, rest in the Lord, be strong, don't worry about tomorrow, seek first God's kingdom and righteousness and love Him most! Lord willing I'll be back tomorrow. Hope you are too:-)

Today's Encouragement (24 October 2022)

Salutations to my sisters!

Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.
Deliver me, O Lord, from mine enemies: I flee unto thee to hide me.
Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.
Quicken me, O Lord, for thy name's sake: for thy righteousness' sake bring my soul out of trouble.
Psalm 143:8-11

I really love all of that! I'm sure you do too.

I hope you're all going well! I am here and keeping busy in good things!

Finished sewing 2 shirts for my shop...

Love seeing the buttonholes take shape automatically...

Praise God for giving us all we have to do what we do! We have many extra blessings above food and raiment don't we sisters! And they often help us to better redeem the time for the Lord don't they. But we know not to let ourselves get entangled with things down here and be willing to do without.

Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Philippians 4:11-13

Good example that is!

And I share this scripture too...

Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner: but my salvation shall be for ever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished.
Hearken unto me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; fear ye not the reproach of men, neither be ye afraid of their revilings.
For the moth shall eat them up like a garment, and the worm shall eat them like wool: but my righteousness shall be for ever, and my salvation from generation to generation.
Isaiah 51:6-8

We definitely want to be living for that which is eternal...not that which is so short lived, fading away down here. And we don't want to fear man either...the Lord will judge those who speak or do wickedly against His people.

Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
Romans 12:19-21

We love His Word and His ways don't we sisters! Let's keep walking in them!

Today's Encouragement (23 October 2022)

Hello sisters!

Peace and joy to you in His name! Hope you're strong in the Lord today!

Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
Matthew 16:24-26

It's serious this life isn't it sisters...we only get one opportunity to get it right. It's what we need to be focused on most isn't it...seeking first God's kingdom and righteousness...loving God and obeying Him. Be strong in the Lord sisters!

Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
2 Corinthians 6:17-7:1

What precious promises...to be daughters of God! And He will be our Father! And He will receive us! But they're not promises just anyone can claim are they? Ponder the condition it mentions in that scripture and the response we have to it too.

What a blessing to be occupied in many good things!

And thank you sister for this scripture...

We can ponder that too and how that affects our daily life and actions.

So that's my simple edification for today. I guess some of these simpler posts are just to say..."I'm still here striving in the Lord, hoping you are too and sharing some scriptures to encourage you! I'm thinking of you and love you all!" Or something like that! God's Word is no small thing though!

Hold fast sister saints and I leave you, until tomorrow Lord willing, with this scripture...

Now God himself and our Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ, direct our way unto you.
And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you:
To the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.

Today's Encouragement (22 October 2022)

Greetings sisters!

I'm back! And you are too. Praise God for each day He gives us breath! And what a joy to serve Him who is light and life!

I read some scriptures today to encourage us sisters to keep striving on...

Looks like I need to get busy on trying to freeze most of these garden blessings...

God provides!

Here's a big rose for my sisters...

Awesome creations God made! And think of all the huge variety He made...we barely know any of it! He is a great Creator and we're blessed to serve Him!
