He Is Worthy! Are We Walking Worthy?

Greetings sisters who love the Lord!

How are you today? Pressing on through all things I hope!

I'm so grateful for Christ, the Lamb of God! He is our very life and the centre of the gospel amen sisters! Our daily life of good works as godly women come from our faith in Him and all He is and did for us!

He was not found worthy of death...yet they killed Him. It was for us sisters...for the forgiveness of our sins when we repent. Let us not trample His blood and death by living for ourselves.

Said unto them, Ye have brought this man unto me, as one that perverteth the people: and, behold, I, having examined him before you, have found no fault in this man touching those things whereof ye accuse him: No, nor yet Herod: for I sent you to him; and, lo, nothing worthy of death is done unto him.

Luke 23:14-15

Will we be found worthy of eternal life with Him sisters?

And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage:

But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:

Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.

Luke 20:34-36

Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Luke 21:36

Stand before the Son of Man! Oh sisters, we could never get there on our own! Let us be ready and watching, doing our Lord's will until then because of what Christ has done!

What about being worthy to be persecuted for Christ?

And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name. And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.

Acts 5:41-42

It was a cause of rejoicing for the apostles to be counted worthy to suffer for this great Saviour!

What about us being rejected in our own families? What about being thought of as strange for our zeal for Him? For our different holy attire from the rest of the corrupt culture? Indeed we have been given much peace in our lives really. We know in some countries, professing faith in Christ means instant death by your own family (some types of Muslims). We see so many of the early Christians, apostles and disciples, died for Christ. So we have it good and easy in comparison really but we have to be ready to suffer the same things. I know some of you saints that would not compromise in the face of death for Christ. Those people are few because so many compromise on the little daily things Christ commands us to do. We have free access to God's Word, truth, and His commands so we will be responsible for what we did with that. Let us be faithful in all things sisters!

And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.

Luke 12:47-48

And as John fulfilled his course, he said, Whom think ye that I am? I am not he. But, behold, there cometh one after me, whose shoes of his feet I am not worthy to loose.

Acts 13:25

Sisters, this is all so precious. Let us take this seriously, the great gift we have been given in His Son and not go on living our own lives. If we do go on sinning wilfully we will be worthy to be severely punished...

Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

Hebrews 10:29

But we want to be found worthy of everlasting life...and not death and hell fire. And it's nothing we have done to deserve it all is it, no. Let us treasure this gift of the Son of God and His blood to cleanse us from sin. Let us obey His every command for us today. He is God!

Are we counting everything else as worthless, in order to walk worthy of this worthy Saviour?

Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,

Philippians 3:8

Our sufferings for Him today are not worthy to be compared to what is to come if we endure sisters! That's encouraging!

For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

Romans 8:18

Let us daily strive to walk in a manner worthy of Him, as His holy daughters. This would be being obedient to all those things specifically for godly women and everything else too!

I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,

Ephesians 4:1

That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
Colossians 1:10

So sisters, let us strive hard to be living in obedience to God's commands for us in His Word. Who are we to question His commands? No we have been bought with a price so let us live now for He who owns us!

Awesome moon God created!

Potatoes (which are in the orchard which survived the frost)...

God's provisions to come!

And a few baby blueberries...

And unique little flowers on the indoor plant...

Just a few pumpkins remain! What a blessing they have been! Praise God!

God provided another meal! And I share it the best I can with you sisters!

OK sisters, I shall go now! Lord willing I will be back tomorrow! Let us bring glory to our great God and strive to walk worthy of such a worthy holy Saviour!

And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

Revelation 5:9-10

Following Christ

Greetings in the Lord,

Well my day is almost over and I want to send some encouragement to my sister saints who love the Lord! By faith we press on, looking to our Saviour who has made the way for us. Let us endure sisters, with that great and glorious hope set before us!

As we know, this is a battle sisters! A spiritual one. It indeed can be trying at times and I'm sure we all have those times of greater peace and joy too. We see in scripture that we are to be rejoicing in all things, joyous. But we also see reason to be sorrowful and indeed we know those who mourn will be comforted and are blessed and that we are to have a contrite humble heart. We also know not to run on our own feelings don't we so hold fast sisters through all things, cling to God's Word and don't give up!

But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Matthew 24:13

Today I wanted to share a few verses, to encourage us, on following after Christ.

And it came to pass, that, as they went in the way, a certain man said unto him, Lord, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest.

And Jesus said unto him, Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.

And he said unto another, Follow me. But he said, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father.

Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God.

And another also said, Lord, I will follow thee; but let me first go bid them farewell, which are at home at my house.

And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.

Luke 9:57-62

We see the urgency and undivided heart we must have for following after Him.

Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

John 8:12

Oh what a blessing that is sisters if we follow Him, having the light of life! What a darkening world around us but we can have Christ's light and shine it to those around us.

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

John 10:27

If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.

John 12:26

Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.

1 Corinthians 11:1

Yes sisters, what a blessing it is that the Lord used brother Paul to teach us how we ought to live in the New Covenant. And we know that includes specific things for us women too like biblical dress/headcovering, submission, our keeper at home roles, sober mindedness, good works, holiness (1 Timothy 2; 1 Corinthians 11, 14; Titus 2 etc). So let us follow after Christ in all these things sisters! He is worthy to be followed!

And I read you some more scripture; 1 Peter 3:8-18

His Word is so strengthening and uplifting!

And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not.

All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

John 6:35-37

Oh what a joy that is sisters!

So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.
John 21:15

I love that. Even though I know it doesn't mean literal lambs obviously, it's a nice picture to think of Jesus telling Peter to feed His lambs.

Which also reminded me about this...

Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;

Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.

And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.

1 Peter 5:2-4

Praise God for those who care for their fellow believers and are an example to them. What a precious flock it is! Indeed they have been purchased with the Shepherd's blood.

And for some Titus 2, here's some delicious food to share with you sisters! Praise God for His providence!

Well sisters, may your day/night be blessed and may you trust in the Lord in all things. What a blessing we can grow in the Lord together and I appreciate all the sisters I know love the Lord and want to grow, overcoming their weaknesses and resisting the wicked one.

We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth;

2 Thessalonians 1:3

Love in Christ,
