Today's Encouragement (31 July 2023)

Hello holy sisters! 

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Romans 12:1-2

Good commandments in there for us all to test ourselves too. Christ is worthy to be living sacrifices for. He was our perfect sacrifice to take away our sins. How thankful we ought to be, and giving our lives to Him is nothing really compared to all He did for us. And how much of our sin He had to endure before we repented (and if we fail again). And all the sin of the whole world He sees every second. I couldn't begin to endure that. I was thinking how long suffering God is and here's a few scriptures on that... 

Yet we know that will end and His just wrath will be poured out. We hope people repent and it is good to warn them or plead with them to repent before it's too late. 

I hope my sisters are pressing on today, not growing weary in well doing. We can just remind ourselves if we have trials that God told us we will and especially if we are living godly. I mean the world has trials too but extra trials for His names sake but we can rejoice in those and through all trials actually. We should. Can be hard sometimes but we keep re-adjusting our minds don't we sisters. 

I was pondering this scripture too... 

For it hath pleased them of Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor saints which are at Jerusalem.

Romans 15:26

And thinking so much for the prosperity gospel that teaches God will give you wealth (and health) on this earth etc. That verse says 'the poor saints' and we know Paul often lacked at times but he had learned to be content. And we also know there was sickness among the saints. 

Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. 

I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. 

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Philippians 4:11-13

This world is not our home and we don't want our treasures down here anyway. It's a blessing living a simple life for Christ. 

I had more sewing to do today... 

Thankful to have good pure and true things to occupy in. 

It's a blessing to be able to do all we do.

That's another great one and also goes along with what brother Paul went through. 

Well I guess I will go and leave you to whatever godly woman's works you have to do next! Let's keep holding fast to truth sisters and not compromising to please the flesh or to avoid hurting anyone's feelings etc. We must love God so much, far above all things. Our faith is a living and active faith because we truly believe in the one true God and His Son whom He sent! Glory to God!

Today's Encouragement (30 July 2023)

Greetings godly sisters! 

Here we have a new day and each one and second is time no one will ever get again. But we know our great God is eternal! But we can strive to redeem the time in good and worthwhile works! 

That's a pretty sunflower a sister shared! So beautiful they are. God made them and all the thousands of other flowers there are and everything else! 

The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.

Isaiah 40:8

Yes so glad to have His eternal unchanging truth! 

Refreshing morning in His creation... 

Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.

Psalm 143:8 

I love the flower 'snow' under the blossoming almond tree... 

Beautiful creations... 

Pretty water droplets too... 

Glory to God for all good things He made! 

Sewing in progress... 

Glad to do various godly woman's works and I'm sure you sisters are too! 

And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;

That ye may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that ye may have lack of nothing.

1 Thessalonians 4:11-12

Daily 'bread' blessings... 

Always Titus 2 works going on in us sisters' lives. I love thinking about my godly sisters.

2 Corinthians 5:15

Amen let us live unto Him..not ourselves. We are His servants and friends if we obey Him which I trust my sisters are doing! Hold fast and keep enduring hardness like good soldiers sisters!

Today's Encouragement (29 July 2023)

Greetings sisters!

How are you going on this day?! I hope you're seeking things above, through all this earthly world and the things we have to deal with. 

I had a busy day with some unexpected changes being a helper but I'm still here to send some love and encouragement to my sisters! The family of God is precious. It's not the whole church with a million different beliefs and sins within. His children are called out and separate and striving to be holy, loving truth, walking in the light, and overcoming. Oh yeah there can be issues and sins to deal with in His family but His children will repent whether on their own with God or after discipline from the body etc. Or if they won't repent we know what Jesus said... 

Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother. 

But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. 

And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.

Matthew 18:15-17

Pretty day... 

Yes there's much trouble and darkness and horrendously bad things going on in this world...but seeing the beauty and peace still around in His creation is such a refreshing blessing. God is good to give us ways to restore as we walk absent from Him by faith. Strangers and pilgrims looking for an eternal city we are!

Another great and encouraging chapter! 

I'd share this yummy healthy pumpkin fudge with my sisters to help keep you going in good works. I made it yesterday to use up some cooked pumpkin. 

It also has almond butter, stevia, coconut oil and some spices. Good treat blessing it is! 

Lord willing I will be back tomorrow. I have some extra sewing to work on to keep me busy Lord willing. And all the other things and I'm sure my sisters are occupying in many good and useful works! Hold fast sister saints!

Today's Encouragement (28 July 2023)

Greetings sisters! 

God gave us another day. We can start out with Him as He allows this world to continue so far, in this day and gave us breath for another day. Most forget Him but we believe in Him by faith and because we do truly believe we obey all He told us in His Word. 

Having a strong faith is very important isn't it sisters... 

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 

Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

1 Peter 5:8-9

We can resist the enemy and keep fighting the good fight of faith. 

Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

Ephesians 6:16

Let's keep trusting in Him in a faithless generation. It is lacking true faith we know but there's plenty of false faith though isn't there sisters of all sorts...right from atheism which is a faith to fake Christian faiths too even to ones which may seem almost close to the true faith.

For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious. 

Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech:

2 Corinthians 3:11-12

Amen we have so much revealed to us in Christ and indeed we have a better covenant! 

Reminds me about the sorer punishment though... 

He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

Hebrews 10:28-29

We do not believe the lies around that say we are safe from punishment if we practice sin...just because we believe in Jesus. We know we must repent. 

Five hungry lambs to feed... 

Watering the cows... 

Reminds me that it often seemed to be a woman's job in the Bible. Well at least drawing water from wells. I'm sure it was needed a lot for Titus 2 things as well just as it is today. 

And he made his camels to kneel down without the city by a well of water at the time of the evening, even the time that women go out to draw water.

Genesis 24:11

They sure had to work really hard for basic needs back then. And those big creatures sure can drink a lot of water. We can be really thankful for modern conveniences today but also not grumble and complain if we are without them. If we have food and raiment...we have all we need...for physical things at least but we need the living water and the bread of life! 

Well I must go now and keep going on my work but I hope all your works as godly women are going well. Hold fast to the truth in a crooked and perverse dark depraved foolish culture. Christ is coming sooner! Let's be salt and light and ready for His coming or our going to be with Him. And we have the blessed hope to share with those who want it!

Today's Encouragement (27 July 2023)

Greetings sisters! 

The Lord reigns on this day! He is the one and only true and living God! 

I am the Lord, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me: 

That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the Lord, and there is none else.

Isaiah 45:5-6

How blessed we are to be His daughters!

Thankyou sister for these... 

Yeah...we do deserve to be destroyed as we have sinned against Him. But He is so merciful and gives us a chance to choose to follow and obey Him. Let us choose life! Sin leads to death so let us be alive in Christ and obeying Him and abiding in Him! 

I know I shared similar thoughts and a scripture like this yesterday but it's always good to think about as we can get attached to things a bit on this earth even if we try not to. His Word is good always. 

For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.

1 Timothy 6:7

 

What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 

For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20

For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it?

1 Corinthians 4:7

Amen there is absolutely no room for men to receive any glory for anything we can do or are etc. And let us trust all that happens to Him and not be anxious for anything.

Thankful for His Word and the good example of faithful saints gone before us too. 


Glimpse into my day... 

Just looks very Titus 2 doesn't it. We love being godly women doing such things. 

Pretty creations... 

We're blessed to have physical eyes to see such things but most importantly spiritual eyes to see and ears to hear the Word. 

Hold fast sisters and let's keep walking by faith! 

Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:

(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him. 

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

Today's Encouragement (26 July 2023)

Hello sister saints!

I am back again...as God gave me another day. How about you? I've had a busy day so I think this will be more brief but not on love and the desire to edify you all. I hope you are standing strong sisters and being strengthened in His Word if not. That always sets us straight doesn't it sisters. Like if we're growing weary living in a wicked world we remember that God has us here to shine our light and offer hope to others and He can use us even if we think we aren't doing much. Others are watching and we want to make sure our life is pleasing to Him and our lives will look nothing like the worlds. And God told us many times in His Word to expect trials and anything but an easy care-free pain-free trouble-free life! But He is so worth enduring it for and we will be rewarded as He has promised and He is faithful...so let us do our part and abide in Him!

Thank you sister for these scripture picture gifts... 

Amen it's all His! Nothing is ours really. Everything we have He gave...and everything we have He can take away and we don't want to stumble and complain if He does. Let's be grateful for all we have today and know we have an eternal home in heaven if we endure these earthly trials. Job is a great example to us in that area. 

And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord. In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly.

Job 1:21-22

He is worthy to be praised and thanked and we can never do that enough. I guess that's what we will be doing in the next life also going by what we see revealed in the book of Revelation! 

After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; 

And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb. 

And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God, 

Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.

Revelation 7:9-12

He surely is worthy to be praised for ever and ever! Amen! 

Hold fast till He comes sisters or our life may be over any day and we want to be ready for that too.

Today's Encouragement (25 July 2023)

Greetings godly sisters! 

Here's another day to serve the Lord! We don't want to be doing anything else than that do we as we know it's all vain outside of Him. And He's so worthy!

To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life: 

But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, 

Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; 

But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: 

For there is no respect of persons with God.

Romans 2:7-11

That's a great contrast isn't it. And we see that our works sure mean something to God. And I'm thankful our God is fair and just and not partial in His judgments. Let's be continuing patiently in well doing sisters!

I love that part about the God of all comfort and the Father of mercies and how He comforts us and then in turn we get to comfort others in tribulation. He is good to us...so let us be to others too! I'm sure you remember that parable Jesus told about the man getting forgiven a huge debt and then he went out and was mean to the man who owed him a small debt. Yeah let's remember God's goodness and forgiveness to us in how we relate to those around us. So many things to keep in memory isn't there sisters!

Lots to share with my sisters if I could! Just a picture glimpse of my day. Thankful to be a godly woman doing good things and not bad and time wasting ones anymore. 

Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

2 Timothy 1:13

Hold fast to truth and sound words sisters and Lord willing I will be back tomorrow to try my best to edify and encourage! Go sisters, go...be zealous for good works!

Today's Encouragement (24 July 2023)

Greetings to my sisters! 

I hope on this day you are pressing on in the Lord and holding fast to His doctrines without wavering!

Thank you sister for this picture and reminder... 

Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning; 

And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately. 

Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them. 

And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants.

And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through. 

Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.

Luke 12:35-40

Yes let us not ever be caught off guard, unprepared or the door will be shut like it was on the 5 foolish virgins. 

Garden weeding work continues for me... 

Thankful for health to do it. 

While I wasn't weeding thorns we could use the opportunity to make sure there are no 'thorns' in our own lives that could choke us and stifle us from growing in the Lord. 

And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word, And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.

Mark 4:18-19

We don't want to be overcome by anything including by gaining the whole world because it means we lose our souls. Let us be on guard for even small ways we could be allowing things in that cause us to not be as fruitful as we should be. 

And we can only do what we can and don't want to be looking around with envy wanting lives that other saints have etc. We need to be content in where the Lord has called us as long as it isn't sinful of course and yet it doesn't mean we can't look for other ways to be useful and do good works etc within the limitations of the life we may have. It's important to be faithful in little too! 

I'd serve you a cozy stew on a cold night if I could... 

The Lord provided daily 'bread' again and I'm thankful. 

Next scripture reading to edify you... 

I'm thankful for His Word again too. So many throw aside what it clearly says and make excuses and only cling to parts they like or something. If we can't trust it all why would we trust any of it? But we can so let's live as if we do and strive to obey all God wants from us...because we love Him!

Today's Encouragement (23 July 2023)

Hello sisters! 

Here's a new day to serve the Lord! 

But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

Romans 13:14

That's a great scripture to keep in memory. And it's like the ones that talk about having the mind of Christ. 

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 

Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Philippians 2:5-8

He surely is our great Example! What a humble servant He was ministering to sinful man and suffering and dying for us. God is too good to us and we surely do not deserve anything but death and eternal punishment. Let us serve and love Him with all that we are! He is worthy!

A lot of good things in there (well like always but it's a long one)! 

The sun goes down on another day of mine... 

God's creation keeps doing what it should. And so let us sisters submit to our Creator as we are just like clay in His hands. 

Well I must go but I hope my sisters are standing in the Lord! 

For now we live, if ye stand fast in the Lord.

Today's Encouragement (22 July 2023)

Greetings sisters!

Here's a new day of His mercies! We are thankful to live each day serving our great God of hope! Life is not hopeless in Him! 

Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

And I myself also am persuaded of you, my brethren, that ye also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another.

Romans 15:13-14 

I love all that! And the part about being able to admonish one another. I say the same about my godly sisters who love the Lord and care about one another. (Speaking of one another there's a good article of scriptures here about how that is a big concept for us in the NT.) "Full of goodness"...that's another good one to ponder. We know any and all goodness comes from the Lord as we are not good without Him! But we sure have been called to be good such as in Titus 2. Yes He sure is a God of hope! Let us all seek after that hope by believing in His Son, repenting of our sin to live holy obedient lives and having been born into His family by His Spirit. Let's endure each day until the end sisters! 

I sometimes think about this scripture... 

And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them. 

Revelation 9:6

And how sadly so many today are just using self-murder to try to escape from this life and the hopelessness they see in it. One day there is going to be no escaping from many things. Everyone will face the judgement, no hiding from God is there, sisters. And we sisters work out our salvation with fear and trembling and hope to be found, on that great day, forgiven in Christ our Advocate. 

For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

1 Timothy 2:5

My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

1 John 2:1

I'm thankful for Him. 

Thank you sister for sharing these scriptures... 

That's a precious promise. We know our God is greater and He reigns and is allowing satan to have his way for a season but we know that is going to end! We can overcome all we need to in Him! 

And that's an awesome promise too...knowing our labours in the Lord are not in vain!

A lot about edifying each other in there. And one more command for us women to keep silent in the gatherings.

Lambs to feed... 

Just a view from my day... 

Pretty sunshine and blue sky and clouds and green grass. Beautiful all the different colours God made His creation have when He could have made it all just one colour! Well and that our eyes and brains can process it all too. 

I think that's all that I have to share today. Hold fast sisters and keep pressing on and crucifying the flesh and not growing weary in well doing! Be of good cheer, He has overcome the world! And I will do all that here too!

Today's Encouragement (21 July 2023)

Greetings sister saints!

Those flowers a sister shared are such beautiful creations aren't they! How blessed we are to know who created them and get to serve Him as He created us too! 

Sharing a few scriptures that we all should keep in mind about people's lips and hearts being different things. We can't go by people's words can we. 

He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. 

Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

Mark 7:6-7

And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

Luke 6:46

Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 

And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Matthew 7:22-23

Jesus says many will say this and will get sent away. We don't want to be among that many but among the few who are welcomed into the kingdom! Let's examine our heart and lips sisters and all our fruit to make sure it is pure for our holy God.

For the Lord thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God.

Deuteronomy 4:24

Good biblical definition of love. True love is selfless and giving and I like that it says it rejoices in the truth!

Potato garden treasures dug up... 

I'm thankful for any godly woman works I can do. And we sisters love to be doing good works and not bad ones anymore! The Lord set us free from those! We now have a great purpose to please Him! 

I hope you're all standing strong in the Lord and striving hard after Him with all that you are. Let's keep holding fast sisters...till He come or we endure until our end!
