Greetings sisters!
How are you all?
Let's rejoice together in all the riches we have in Christ. We have so much really don't we! Let's be so faithful with what we have been given.
Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:Ephesians 3:8-9
What a joy to edify and encourage one another in whatever way the Lord allows us to each day! Let us rejoice in this moment we have and strive to live it the best we can for the Lord. It is a real treasure to know of other believers striving on where they are!
This one's interesting to think about...
As for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison. Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.
Acts 8:3-4
So we see that persecution and being scattered to proclaim the good news of Christ is a good thing. Yes it would be nice to gather and fellowship in the flesh but God certainly wants us to shine our lights and proclaim the gospel right where we are too. You have to trust that God will lead and guide you in your life and for sure He can bring others into your life to fellowship with. But let us look to Him and not miss what He has for us to do right where we are.
A sister and I were talking a bit about riches and where we want ours to be...
So I wanted to read you some more scriptures on similar subjects...
We sisters don't treasure the things of this world (like perhaps we did once); money, possessions, fame, books, entertainment, music, clothing, careers, our looks, etc. No we see and lay hold upon the true riches and we know we have our true treasure in heaven!
But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.1 Timothy 6:11-12
And it's such a blessing and treasure also to know some of you sisters and together press each other on to things above! Praise the Lord!
(Thank you sister for that scripture picture.)
Check out the lizard sunning himself on the fence post...funny things...

And...well...a frost got the potatoes in the garden...
A beautiful tree in the supermarket car park...
Just growing and doing what it does where it's been planted as the world goes by around it.
We sisters see all the people around us like when we are in the world and we can only do so much because we cannot reach everyone with the gospel (and neither will most listen). But we do have to be faithful in what we have been given.
The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe.
Proverbs 29:25
I love that scripture! There is some kind of scripture for every situation isn't there!
And that's exactly what I was thinking I have been in my past in being quiet and shy...in a snare. It really is fear of man that. I'm sure we all have it in varying degrees and at times but I think that is an awesome verse to remember in situations when we find ourselves fearing man or a certain situation. Whether we face words and comments for our godly lives, or we just feel strange wearing our biblical clothing and headcovering, or not participating in some event, these are all from the fear of man. We have this flesh to fight but it is for the most worthy cause in the universe and that is to be pleasing to the Creator of the universe. He made it all and He made us and we are His creatures! Let us live to please Him alone! I know it is often easier said than done but it is what we who love the Lord are always striving for. He is worthy! He sent His Son into a wicked world to save those who would obey Him and deny themselves.
So sisters let us remember what great riches we have in Christ and lay up treasures in heaven!
That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ; In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
Colossians 2:2-3
Love to you all!
Strive on sister soldiers!
