Greetings sisters!
Wherever you are on God's huge earth, I hope you are standing faithful to the Lord! We are salt and light in this world, which is good to ponder what that means and looks like.
Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.Matthew 5:13-16
Do all things without murmurings and disputings: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;Philippians 2:14-15

I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep....As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep. And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.John 10:11,15-16

What a wonderful and loving Saviour He is! This is our hope. Let us not take it for granted in the slightest but strive to please Him with grateful hearts. We do wisely remember the goodness and severity of God also. We want to be found of Him in peace.
