Good day sister saints!

We all lived one more day and I hope your day was one you overcame all things in the Lord. I write these posts at the end of my days usually and so even if it's the start of yours when you might be reading this you had one more day to live since I last wrote to you. Anyway I hope you are doing well in the Lord sisters!

I had another quiet day off, not feeling well with a cold, but I still want to send you sisters something to edify and bless you. I was able to send out many gospel emails in these days so His truth is still going out over the world. We know most don't want to hear it but we just have to be faithful! We leave the rest to God.

You're very gracious to read these simple posts of mine but I guess I share a lot of God's Word and don't always have a whole lot of my own. As a sister (who has a blog too) tells me that no one has to read our blogs (we don't force them to and they can go elsewhere if they don't like how we write things) or they can show us how to do better from theirs and we will gladly learn.

I'm sure you all have those hard days to endure with your health and you think of the hope we have to come of being free from it all! But we know it isn't our time to go yet so we do what the Lord has for us to do, doing good works as godly women and trusting in Him in it all!

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

Revelation 21:4-5

Amen sisters! But we have to endure and overcome in Christ to get that! Let us press one another on in love!

Today I wanted to share some scriptures on glorifying God! Hope they edify you! There's always much to ponder in His Word isn't there sisters. It can be too easy to just read them and think we know what they say already. There is so much treasures and wisdom to be found if we slow down and stop and ponder. I have to do that at least. I'm sure we all do at times.

That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Romans 15:6

For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
1 Corinthians 6:20

I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify thy name for evermore.
Psalm 86:12

And that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess to thee among the Gentiles, and sing unto thy name.
Romans 15:9

Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.
1 Peter 4:16

Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.
Revelation 15:4

And a couple scripture pictures I'm grateful to have to share here from a kind sister:-)

And some scriptures she shared...

Hope this simple offering for you sisters has edified you. I know His Word would have but also knowing there is another sister out there who loves the Lord in this dark world would also be encouraging...because it is for me to know there are a few.

Greetings sisters!

How are you today?

I am popping in briefly with some edification for this day! I wasn't feeling the best today so I stayed in my room mostly so didn't get out and about much.

Little lambie checking up on me:-)

But I did have a scripture reading or two stored up from a few days ago so I share this one today.

1 Thessalonians 5

I hope it edifies you sisters!

I also share some beautiful scripture pictures from a sister.

And some more scriptures she messaged me.

So that will be all from me for today! I hope your day is joyous and fruitful in the Lord and that you stand strong in Him!

Until next time Lord willing,

Blessings and love,

Peaceful Creations

Greetings sisters who love the Lord!

"Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love."

2 John 1:3

I have a few peaceful things from my day to share. We sisters, in living in this world but not of it, like to find creations of our great God and give Him glory for creating them and letting us see and appreciate them. And I get to share a little with you here too! It's also so opposite of what we see rebellious humans doing in all their sin and things that are hard for us who want to live holy to bear at times, but the rest of His creations go about just doing what they are supposed to. That's refreshing! And may we sisters do so too!

"I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well."

Psalm 139:14

Cows grazing outside my room window...

I had to go to do some cleaning at my oldest brother's house which is in a small town nearby. When I was about leaving, there was this awesome rainbow! I'm blessed to be seeing so many lately!

And a few pretty flowers there...

And I was able to go down by the nearby water. It was so peaceful!

There was one end of the rainbow that stayed for a very long time! The camera does not show all the different vibrant colours that it really had.

And there was a pretty sunset too! How amazing that the Lord let's us see these things!

Hope those were peaceful for you and glory to God the Creator of it all!

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

The same was in the beginning with God.

All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

In him was life; and the life was the light of men."

John 1:1-4

Here's some quick Titus 2 pics from the meal I cooked tonight.

I made a pumpkin soup (yeah another one:-) and added in some cabbage too.

And cooked some chicken too....

So that was some of my day in the Lord. I hope you sisters' days are going well in all the good and godly things you do as Titus 2 women of God.

And here's a scripture picture sent to me from a sister.

That verse kind of goes along with my post about peaceful creations because we are to be peacemakers, sisters! As it says we will be called the children of God! What a high calling to be daughters of the Most High God!

"If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men."

Romans 12:18

Reminds me also of particularly us women who also are to have meek and quiet spirits.

Ok sisters, I had better go. I have some busy days coming up, Lord willing I live, and today was busy too. I'm sure you know how things go but we always have to put the first things first and rearrange that all in our minds and lives daily.

"Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you."

2 Corinthians 13:11

Love to you sisters!

Sisterly Edification for July 12

"Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another."

Romans 14:19

Good day sister saints!

How are things going in your life?

I love this verse and I hope that's all of us sister's lives...following hard after our Lord!

"My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me."

Psalm 63:8

So it's one more day for me to come here with a bit of edification and hopefully encouragement for your day.

There's so much depth to that verse isn't there sisters?!

And also to loving as Christ loved...

"A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another."

John 13:34-35

And we sisters can pray one for another.

"Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much."

James 5:16

Yesterday I saw a flock of about 7 of these beautiful birds right below my window so close.

What amazing variety in His creation! I was blessed to see them as it seemed they were right there for me to see:-)

I went on a walk on the property yesterday and saw so many flowers that I wanted to share some with you. How great a God we have who created so much variety in flowers the world over!

(There's some funny sounding birds on there too! And you may also spot a lamb or two because they followed me on my walk. It's interesting seeing the characteristics in them of what the scriptures describe about sheep...but anyway the point of the video is to see a bit more of God's flower creations to give Him glory! And I know the video quality doesn't show them as they are, but it's better than nothing:-)

And a couple Titus 2 pics from my day:-)

Just some of those simple yet necessary jobs we have to do:-)

"She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness."

Proverbs 31:27

A faithful kind sister sent me these scripture pictures. Thank you sister:-)

What precious verses and beautiful flowers! All blessings from the Father!

"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning."

James 1:17

And this is an older one she sent but I haven't shared it here yet:-)

And amen what an infinite God we serve!

That is all from me for today! Lord willing I shall be back tomorrow. I hope your day goes well in the Lord!

Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

2 Peter 3:13-14

Another Day's Edification

Quick greetings sisters!

I wanted to share this scripture to edify you! I hope your day is going well in the Lord!

"Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.

Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,

Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;

Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;

Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.'

1 Corinthians 13:1-7

Reminds me of this one too...

"My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth."

1 John 3:18

I love this...

Praise God for that sisters!

And thank you sister for sharing this scripture with me...

OK sisters! Let's strive on in the faith and hold fast till He comes!

"He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels."

Revelation 3:5

Remembering the Lord's Mercy

Greetings sister saints!

I hope you are each doing well especially in your obedience and walk with Lord.

"But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;"

1 Peter 2:9-11

A sister and I were messaging and she reminded me of a few things to think about.

And it helps to remember that, especially when having to endure others around us who are not loving and obeying God. We sisters all have some contact with other people, because we know that God doesn't take us out of this world, so we are to shine our light while keeping seperate from sin of course. We don't go join people in their sin, no, but we can still withdraw ourselves from the things the world and claimed believers do while caring about their souls. So in that we need to remember that once we were just like them, living in sin and rebellion and God had to endure us and even died for us so we can do the same to others.

"And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God."

1 Corinthians 6:11

Praise God sisters we have been set free in Christ! And now we can offer that same great hope and treasure of the gospel to others. And we glorify God by being a consistent faithful witness and bearing much fruit. And of course we are living for God first and not for others but we have His Word and He tells us how to live in this world and all its sin while being His set apart saints.

Yes it is hard to endure seeing and hearing those who do not obey God...but we need long suffering and all the fruits of the Spirit and remember how the Lord had mercy on us when we were like that. And now He has called us to something much better and so we reach out to the others with hope and leave what they do with that to the Lord as we ourselves live holy obedient lives ready to give an answer.

I know that I know those things but we can forget and so could use reminders of many different things can't we sisters!

"But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin."

Hebrews 3:13

"And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:"

Hebrews 10:24

Amen what a blessing to edify and encourage each other as sisters in the Lord.

"The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."

2 Peter 3:9

And thank you sister for sharing these scriptures pictures!

And I share a few more pics.

Peaceful cows...

And a little bird's nest in a citrus tree...

"And Jesus said unto him, Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head."

Luke 9:58

Let us sisters be grateful for the blessings we have above food and raiment...like a bed to rest in and warm blankets for when it's cold:-)

And I thought this sounded funny...hungry chickens pecking away at the grain on the tin:-)

And another day God provided us with good foods!

An interesting purple cauliflower from the garden...

I used it in the meal tonight...

And a refreshing fruit salad with cream...

"And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good."
Genesis 1:11-12

OK that is all from me for today! Lord willing tomorrow I will be back.

So let us sisters be encouraged to remember that the Lord had mercy on us! He is worthy to be lived for!

"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him."

Romans 5:8-9

Prove All Things

Greetings obedient holy sister saints who love the Lord!

I'm back again with another day and something to share in it.

I titled my blog post from this scripture...

"Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil."

1 Thessalonians 5:21-22

And what I write here goes along with that. I thought I'd do a quick post on how we sisters get rid of things out of our lives that are not biblical. Well I share some things from my own life as an example. We strive to be pleasing to God who we are to fear. And we know He is holy and hates sin.

"And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight."

1 John 3:22

Because we have been born by His Spirit, we now desire holiness in all our ways. We don't want anything that isn't pleasing to Him. And therefore we know that all things that do not please Him must be put away.

"Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.

Be not ye therefore partakers with them.

For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:

(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)

Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.

And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them."

Ephesians 5:6-11

This is not a huge post on the subject but just a few things I came across recently. Sometimes I start my posts in the morning of my day and then by night I hoped to spend more time on it and couldn't so I hope it makes some sense. It's by no means complete.

Even though I grew up in a reasonably 'conservative Christian' family, we know that makes no one a born-again child of God, so in the past year or so I had to go through my things and only keep that which is good and pure and true.

Because I grew so much in truth recently and even though there was nothing extremely vile that I had to throw away but still all things that are not pleasing to God we do not want and are sinful. And there was a surprising amount I had to get rid of. It truly is a total change of mind!

So as I shared earlier there have been clothing that was not biblical, and covetous things from my past in music and cooking shows, and many years worth of birthday cards I had kept and many other such like things. There's those more obvious things and the more you learn and grow in the Lord the more you see that is not pleasing to Him and needs to go. Maybe a bit like a sieve or a filter...the more you begin to see of God's truth the more detail you examine in your life to see if it is good and godly and the finer details you get to and you don't want to stop. At the beginning when you see the truth and come to a true faith in Christ, it's perhaps many things that need to go but quickly as you grow especially if you have other more mature saints in your life to set an example then it doesn't take as long. But there is the Spirit and the Word to guide us in truth. We know we are to be diligent and zealous for good works!

And we all come to Christ from different pasts but we all have much to be set free from and things we may have used to place more value on.

And its all worthless compared to Christ and the hope we have to come!

"But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,"

Philippians 3:7-8

And most people say oh how sad it must be to live a life like that but we don't even want such things in our lives do we sisters! And if there is any remnant of flesh left we have to overcome that and move on not looking back.

You can see a post here about getting rid of my unbiblical clothing.

I thought I might share a few examples of what some of those things I purged out recently because I had the opportunity to go deeper in cleaning out my room which I used to share with my two younger sisters. I'm so blessed to have a room to myself now and so can do almost what I like with it.

The other day I noticed this up on my room wall in an obscure place and was surprised I hadn't seen it before recently. I now know that cross symbols are not good but are pagan and so I destroyed it.

And another thing I threw away from my childhood...

And this pile of 'Christian' women's books...

And even these anabaptist homeschool books were quite shameful in what they taught for learning about sewing women's dresses and were far from biblical even though they have much good mixed in.

So that is just a little on that. I know you all would have had many such things in the past to be set free from for Christ's sake. Maybe that blessed and edified you sisters. I only shared those few pictures but that was just a fraction of what I wanted to get free from for God's glory. Test all things sisters! He is worthy to be lived for!

I shall go now though:-) I hope your day is joyous and you strive on in the Lord sisters.

"Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure."

Today's Edification and Isaiah 53

Greetings in Christ!

"God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all them that are about him."

Psalm 89:7

Let us humbly serve such a great God sisters. He is worthy!

I had a super busy day today doing lots of housework and deeper cleaning and helping with some moving of furniture.

But I wanted to have something to share with you sisters to edify you in your day. I made you another scripture reading. It just adds some depth to it all I think. You can find Isaiah 53 on the video here as the sun sets. I'm blessed with some peace in God's creation. We all can look for that wherever the Lord has called us sisters.

"O Lord our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!"

Psalm 8:9

Isaiah 53

So I hope that scripture blesses you! And let us be so grateful and praise our God for such a precious Saviour!

"For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him."

2 Corinthians 5:21

We have such great hope through Him don't we sisters!

(a scripture I added to a picture from a saint)

I had to go for a walk to the lemon tree to pick some for the fish I was cooking tonight. So I took a pic for you:-) Just a little job but we all have such little jobs in our lives don't we:-) We can remember to be faithful in the small things too!

"He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much."
Luke 16:10

"In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you."
1 Thessalonians 5:18

We still have a large stack of pumpkins...

And I made more soup tonight...

More blessings from the Lord!

Alright I better go sisters! Rejoice in all your duties and good works you need to do today! Lord willing tomorrow will be a new day and I shall be back here. I hope your day goes well and you set your affections on things above too!

"If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory."

Colossians 3:1-4
