Today's Edification (6 March 2024)

Greetings in His holy name!

I'm coming back again here to edify you, my sisters who love the Lord! Edify you with the Word and perhaps share some glimpses into the life of another godly woman that may encourage you. Never know what our days will bring forth. And we can give Him glory for all good things!

Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
John 15:8

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Matthew 5:16

Those are two scriptures on ways we can glorify Him!

I hope you're doing well sisters and are standing stedfast and unmoveable where ever you are scattered on this huge earth! While I don't know if there are any sisters reading here...I keep pouring out to any who may be and only God knows all things! We do things heartily as to the Lord don't we! And any seekers who are sisters-to-be one day might be reading but either way the Lord sees all we do and will reward accordingly. None of our labours are in vain if done unto Him! We sure know how few there are in these last perilous days. We are to let our lights shine as I shared above. We serve One God who is eternal and endures forever! We live by His Word and not man's.

Here's the Matthew 18 reading...

More good things in there! I'm thankful the Lord told us all He did. We know His Word is not just to be read but to be obeyed. How wonderful it is when people obey His Word! Everything works together well and there is peace and unity. But when anyone goes outside of His ways there is always trouble and confusion. And in this life, there always will be such problems as we have not attained yet and we are not God. But let us strive our hardest to walk in all His ways amen sisters?! And be forbearing and merciful and long suffering to those who are striving on!

We are not the truth...but we represent the truth, strive our best to at least, so we could be wrong and only His Word is the rock solid unchanging truth! We keep searching it to see what the Lord has told us and to learn the truth! Of course it is prideful to ever think we could never be wrong or to think we have salvation guaranteed and locked up for us no matter what we do. Let us be low and meek and poor in spirit always. Let us test all things to His Word...and test some more! And then test some more!

A thought came to me that I wanted to share with you with some scriptures...

It's about the Lord knowing all things and how we can rest in that instead of spending all our 🤔 brain power 🤔 trying to figure out situations we have no control over!

I was able to get five headcoverings done.

And I put in an order for fabric for twenty two more. They have been selling out on my shop sort of lately so I want to keep on top! I buy this fabric from the UK as it's the best and most consistent source I can find and I'm thankful for that! I'm sure you know ordering online has it's risks but when you find something good it's a great blessing and you don't run the risk of wasting money on useless products or spending more time looking either. So praise God! And I'm very thankful to have the outlet to sew for those wanting to dress biblical...whether or not the people are fully biblical or even of the Christian faith at all. The gospel goes out at least and it's always good to clothe the body!

This was my view when I got to the garden this morning...

It's probably not dangerous to walk near it as I have knee length rubber boots on. But yeah not really what you want to have around if they are the second most deadly land snakes in the world. One good thing, it may eat the mice and rats that are around and that eat the produce. We have to be on guard physically but more importantly...spiritually.

Saw the super cute frog creation again...

Made me smile:-) Good and pure things in a dark world that God let's us see. And I want to share good things with you too. Each of us are strangers and pilgrims through this wicked world.

Chicks are sure no longer little...

And the chicken mum sure doesn't want anything to do with them anymore and is 'mean' to them (in human terms). In this case, nature doesn't teach us...except perhaps if the grown children are rebellious against the truth and don't want to hear it, a godly mother would and should separate from them (but not be mean).

Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.
Matthew 10:34-38
Yes that's the truth...and we sure want to be worthy of the Lord amen sisters...no matter what!

Quick evening trip to the nearest town to post something. And the gospel went up.

Everyone is invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb!
Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy. Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage.
Matthew 22:8-9

Peaceful creations on a beautiful evening...

God is good and His creation is good.

Looks like some kind of wild mint plant. It's flourishing whatever it is. May we be flourishing in the Lord too!

The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.
Psalm 92:12-13

In those times that it hits you that you miss your spiritual family...use that as a time to make sure you're ready to be with the Lord and all His holy saints one day. We should do that all the time of course but this life is not the one where we will get everything 'good'. It's ok to greatly desire to have truly holy people in your life, as our brother Paul surely did, but let us use that to get ready for the next life and to grow stronger here and not weaker.

But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.

And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.
Luke 16:25-26

Remember that great gulf fixed. There will not be a time of second chances one day will there. Ponder on the Lord's great mercy today to give us and all people many chances to repent. He is so long suffering, not willing that any should perish.

The world is receiving it's reward today...in living how they please and with all pleasures of sin for a season. But we know it's truly all empty and vain and that torment coming in the next life awaits them.

Our good reward is in the next life sisters! Press on until then...looking to Jesus!

And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.
Colossians 3:23-24

Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
Matthew 5:11-12

And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.
Revelation 11:18

Who wouldn't want to spend eternity with our great God and Saviour! We know He is good and merciful and kind and loving and gracious. He has done all He can to make a way for us. Of course we know to fear Him as He is also wrath and severity and judgement if we sin on and on and do not repent. So let us work out our salvation with fear and trembling, knowing the righteous will scarcely be saved. It is a serious matter. But He gives us peace and joy if we walk in the light and we know we are pleasing Him.

My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.

And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him.

For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.

Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.

And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
1 John 3:18-22
I love that!

May we keep being consistent and not tossed to and fro...
That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
Ephesians 4:14

May we be peaceful in God's order (and not of confusion)....
For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.
1 Corinthians 14:33

May we be stedfast...
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
1 Corinthians 15:58

May we be unwavering...
Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
Hebrews 10:23

And so much more! Stand like rocks on the solid Rock of Christ, sisters! He is our firm foundation...we shall not be moved!

My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him. He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved. In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.
Psalm 62:5-7

Hold fast till He comes, precious sisters! Be valiant for the truth!

Love to you all,

Today's Edification (5 March 2024)

Greetings sisters who love the Lord!

Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
Ephesians 1:2-3

I hope my sisters are doing well in Him!

I was looking up the Word accepted...and it goes along with what I shared the other day about being pleasing to God. We must be acceptable to Him! So much for unmerited, inelegible, unconditional that people speak of or believe even if they don't say it. Question to ask ourselves...are we acceptable to God? Are we doing that which is acceptable to Him as women, His daughters?

Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.
2 Corinthians 5:9

But if any widow have children or nephews, let them learn first to shew piety at home, and to requite their parents: for that is good and acceptable before God.
1 Timothy 5:4

For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:

(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)

Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.

Ephesians 5:8-10

Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:
Hebrews 12:28

Let's keep labouring to be accepted of Him sisters...at all times. We don't want to be caught off guard at any time or living in unrepented sin.

I was also pondering how we need to be very careful when we make accusations.

The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;
Titus 2:3

Obviously what it says there for older women is for all believing women for the most part except perhaps for teaching. Well an older woman that just came to the Lord from a pagan wicked life shouldn't be teaching the younger obviously but we know what it means...those women mature in the faith who will generally be older ones for sure, yes. The older ones in the faith are to be the examples of what the younger ones are growing up to. Doesn't mean a young woman should be less of a godly example but there are things that only come with much time and experience in the Lord.

Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
1 Timothy 4:12

And yes sometimes you have to learn things the hard way (and through hard trials etc) and if you've been through much of that then you're not likely to repeat the same things. So if you're in the process of learning various things the hard way, younger sisters...take courage that they will all build upon one another to produce much wisdom and experience if you stand strong and overcome in His power!

So back to the Titus 2 verse, it says not false accusers. And I was pondering how we need to be very careful before we make any accusation against someone. Some things are easy to see and know but others are harder to know. For example, we can't always know if someone is lying or not as we don't know their intent and motives and human limitations. So we have to make sure we are certain they are doing what we claim, as well as we don't want to make false judgements. We are to judge rightly.

Neither can they prove the things whereof they now accuse me.
Acts 24:13

We sisters in Christ - who IS the truth - are all about truth and we always want to be truthful about everything to the best of our ability. I know for a fact that your conscience and the Spirit does not allow you to say the opposite of truth easily, but we still need to be careful as the command can be deeper than we think. We don't want to even think false accusations or false judgements do we. And we need to be super careful before we speak about others lest we be in sin ourselves.

Also we know in scripture that we are not to be busy bodies and gossips etc, speaking things that we ought not.

And withal they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house; and not only idle, but tattlers also and busybodies, speaking things which they ought not.
1 Timothy 5:13

This is a better picture of what we ought to be doing...

And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;
1 Thessalonians 4:11

Sure we expect the world to falsely accuse and not understand us...

Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.
1 Peter 3:16

We have Jesus as an example for us...

And the chief priests accused him of many things: but he answered nothing.
Mark 15:3

And if we are falsely accused we can rejoice that God knows! That is always our comfort amen sisters! He is going to reward everyone according to their works. Vengeance is His. In the end He will be the final and perfect Judge. Until then we can have the attitude of "lay not this sin to their charge" if anyone wrongs us in any way...which sure will happen. That is humility.

There are many things that should not be once named among us. Our calling is very high isn't it sisters. But there is always mercy and hope in the Lord for those with willing hearts who fail in the flesh. Let us strive to do our best sisters!

Psalm 119 reading here...

There's so much about His Word in there...it's awesome! Let us feed on His Word and live by it all!

Ready to go...

Thankful to get two more batches done!

Peaceful...

Thankful to have godly women's raiment to sew.

Good blessings going out into the sun...

A good warm and hot week ahead for them. And then I bring them in to my little home each night.

So I've had a very busy and fruitful day. Satisfying. Praise God for whatever we can do! Let's see what tomorrow has in it for me. Probably a slower one as the electricity is supposed to be off for a good while. No canning or sewing. It's usually good to have some kind of idea what you might do the next day...if He wills. Helps to redeem the time. How's your days sisters? Hopefully filled with many good works of all sorts in whatever ministry and calling you each have! Good job if that's so sisters! Don't grow weary in it all! Rejoice to be His daughters and know He sees your works and is pleased.

Beautiful sunset to His glory!

I decided to take you with reading some scriptures on quietness.

Hope those blessed you. My sisters and women who want to be fully godly are welcome in my little home always! As we know, we can't be close to those who hate the Lord (ie don't obey Him) or bring false doctrine.

If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.
2 John 1:10-11

Strive on in the truth sisters!

Press on to the kingdom!

Today's Edification (4 March 2024)

Greetings sisters!

I hope you're striving on in the Lord on this day!

This is our hope if we endure sisters...

So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:

It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:

It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

1 Corinthians 15:42-44

Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
John 11:25

Our Saviour is our hope! But for now we need to rejoice in infirmities so the power of Christ can be shown in us. Keep dragging the corruptible, dishonorable, weak, natural body around sisters:-) One day it will be an incorruptible, glorious, powerful spiritual body if we endure! Glory to God!

I was reading in Acts...

And he called unto him two centurions, saying, Make ready two hundred soldiers to go to Caesarea, and horsemen threescore and ten, and spearmen two hundred, at the third hour of the night; And provide them beasts, that they may set Paul on, and bring him safe unto Felix the governor.
Acts 23:23-24

And pondering that account of Paul being escorted to safety with hundreds of soldiers. He sure had an interesting life preaching Christ crucified! Sometimes you think you've read the scriptures over and over and you have but there's always something new to ponder and dig in to.

And was reading the accounts and pondering how he stood before many rulers and people giving his testimony.

But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:

For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake.

Acts 9:15-16

I was pondering on unfaithful servants. That's really what those claiming Christ are around us and all over the world. We know what happened to them in Jesus' parables. You can't just claim the title of servant of Christ without doing what is required! Let us be diligent in our own serving of Him.

I was also thinking about the Pharisee and the publican praying. He was thanking God that He wasn't like other men.

The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.

I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.

And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.

I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

Luke 18:11-14

While I am super thankful of the Lord's pure ways to walk in, we keep ourselves low because we know we have sinned and may still, so we need His mercy always.

Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Ephesians 2:9

The Lord equips you for the life He has for you. You may know of areas you could grow in and you don't face those situations much. But God knows best and if He has a different life for us then He will be the one to give us what we need when we need it...if we have willing hearts that are striving our best. He is the Potter and we are just the clay. We want to surrender to His will. If we live many years more then of course there will be a great variety of changes within those years for us to learn how to grow in. We know not what the rest of our lives will bring. God does and I am glad He will be there if we are faithful to Him. Let us be patient, and content and thankful to be His!

Next Matthew reading here...

Pretty creations He made...all over the world!

I've had a busy day canning and child-minding. And getting a sewing order sent off. And other usual works. After such days it's a blessing to finally slow down in the evening (big sigh)! And now I'm coming here getting my post finished to edify you, my sisters! (Or any seekers or other women who may be reading. I hope you repent to be obedient to sound doctrine and to the one true faith once delivered through the gospel.

Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.
1 Timothy 4:16

I would glady share the treat I was given with my sisters...

Looks like I may have headcovering sewing tomorrow as the fabric came in...

And more tomato canning! All that Lord willing if I get the day and nothing changes. His will be done!

I got this amount and a bit more done today...

And hopefully I can do the same amount tomorrow. Let's see. Good blessings the Lord provided!

I am blending them, then heating them, then canning them.

Just trying to do it the most time saving way and that fits the most in each jar. Perhaps you sisters may know a better way but whatever works in the end is good I guess! Hopefully I can work on the post about it later...but for now I'm busy actually doing it before they spoil! And hopefully I can put another batch in the dryer too as I 'think' I have another week around here but we'll see. One day at a time right sisters?!

I'm thankful to have good works to do. It's important food works as we are to be content with food and raiment. Even though we don't worry about tomorrow, it's wise to store up what the Lord provides if possible as we don't know the future either. I think of Joseph storing up for seven years, for seven years of famine. We remember when grocery shelves were almost bare just recently too when the world was going crazy. But anyway good works to occupy in and not bad ones anymore. A few things came to mind recently of things I used to do...time wasting vain things. But that was a different person as I am a new creation and I'm thankful to know better and be set free from such things. I'm sure you sisters are super thankful too!! Praise God! I love being a godly woman.

And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
John 8:32

Well I think that's all from me now sisters. Lord willing I will be back tomorrow. And I hope you are too...but that's OK too if the Lord took you home as that is gain for you!

For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
Philippians 1:21

Just don't fall away sisters...so be on guard. And we don't want to lose our first love either. Strive on stedfast, without wavering! Be lively stones!

Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
1 Peter 2:5

Today's Edification (3 March 2024)

Good day fellow sister soldiers!

I hope you're rejoicing for the Lord's new mercies on this day! Great is His faithfulness!

Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;
Deuteronomy 7:9

Let us be faithful to Him in obeying what He has asked of us! Simply being who we were created to be. Being His servants simply doing our duty.

Let us have strong faith...

He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;

And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.

And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.

Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him;

But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;

Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

Romans 4:20-25

Also because of our faith we are fully persuaded of all the Lord has written in His Word. We are fully persuaded of the place to come and that the Lord made a way there for those who believe and follow Him until the end! Let us walk on by faith, fighting the good fight.

More psalm readings here...

His Word is good and I am thankful for it!

Took you with harvesting from the garden...

While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.
Genesis 8:22

Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.
Luke 10:2

Keep labouring in the harvest sisters...however you can! That's a great responsibility and a sobering job really as souls are on the line but we have the joyous hope in Christ if they want it! But that's theirs and God's business. We just plant seeds!

So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.
1 Corinthians 3:7

Proverbs 31 godly woman encouragement of the day...

She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.
Proverbs 31:26-27

Wisdom and kindness...that's what we want to be striving for always. Fear of God is the beginning of wisdom so we will not be speaking/writing about the wisdom of the world which is foolishness to God.

For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness. And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.
1 Corinthians 3:19-20

And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.

Job 28:28

We are commanded elsewhere to be kind...

And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
Ephesians 4:32

Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
1 Corinthians 13:4

Let us diligently look after whatever the Lord has put us over, households, keeper at home, serving etc. And may we not be idle ever. Even if there may be times of less physical work, depending on our situation, we can have times of pondering the Lord and that isn't idleness! In prison we will not be in the sin of idleness will we! Let us be hard working in that which we do have to do! Faithful in little as well. And remember also the 'second mile' Jesus told us to go. We have such a high calling and standard to live up to indeed. Let us aim for it!

Praise God for that...a lively hope!!! Blessed be His holy name!

And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God.
Luke 13:29

He will gather His own from the whole world into His kingdom! What a great day that will be!

Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
1 Thessalonians 4:18

Let us be watching and ready so we can open unto Him the door immediately.

And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately.
Luke 12:36

Don't grow weary in well doing, sisters!
Look up!
Press on!
Endure hardness!
Be of good courage!
Hold fast!

Grace, mercy, and peace from above,

Today's Edification (2 March 2024)

Greetings dear godly sisters!

Are you pressing on strong in the Lord today?

But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
Jude 1:20-21

I hope and pray you are! Keep clinging to the Word of truth in this incredibly confused and deluded age.

And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:

2 Thessalonians 2:11-13

I was pondering God actually being pleased with us...by what we do.

But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
Hebrews 13:16

Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.
2 Timothy 2:3-4

Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, so ye would abound more and more.
1 Thessalonians 4:1

And that also means He is not pleased with other things...obviously. We want to please Him don't we, as obedient servants and children of His. Let's keep seeking to please Him sisters!

And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
1 John 3:22

Matthew 16 reading here...

We have to look through, over, above, and past the things of this world to the things of God don't we! And even though there are many physical things of this world we have to do, which at times can crowd in on us, we have to strive to keep our hearts and minds on spiritual things and things above. But let's keep pressing on knowing one day we will be delivered from this present evil world.

Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:
Galatians 1:4

Was pondering on what this scripture says...pollutions of the world.

For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
2 Peter 2:20-21

Praise God we can escape it's pollutions! But let us not get entangled with it ever again! We don't want to do we sisters.

Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

1 John 2:15-17

It's so fleeting and vain isn't it. We have our heart set on the eternal!

Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

James 4:4

We have no friendship with the world. And we are aliens just passing through here and doing the Father's business best we can.

Would share with all the saints worldwide...

Good blessings from the Lord.

Nice window view...

One more day that we won't get again. Let us be thankful for the blessings in each one.

Remember this sisters...

Let's not compare them! It will be worth it all!

And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

Romans 8:23

Amen...that's what we're waiting for through this troubled world.

The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
1 Corinthians 15:26

Praise God He will destroy death forever! Let us be found worthy to escape the second death.

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Isaiah 40:31

Keep rising up in His strength, sisters!

Soldier on, no matter what!

Rejoice evermore!!!

Labours aren't in vain in the Lord!

Be of good cheer!

Worthy is the Lamb!

Today's Edification (1 March 2024)

Greetings sisters!

Hope you're walking on stedfast in the faith!

Thy word is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it.

Psalm 119:140

Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.

Proverbs 30:5

Love those and amen! We feed on His pure Word! His Word sanctifies us!

And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.

1 Kings 18:21

Let us follow the Lord alone! He is good and the only true God Almighty! Our heart is fixed on Him amen sisters?! We are not in two opinions. We have counted the cost and there is nothing else to be compared to Him. But we must walk out our faith in Him in our works of obedience which justifies it.

And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.

Acts 20:32

That scripture came to mind about giving people you love over to the Lord. He does a better job of looking after His own than we can!

And when they had ordained them elders in every church, and had prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord, on whom they believed.

Acts 14:23

And we commit our own lives to Him...

Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O LORD God of truth.

Psalm 31:5

I had to go early to a town to help my earthly sister with the children etc. (they are over for a bit.) So it was a whirlwind type day. Despite that I was also able to put up or give out the gospel here and there.

I went into a grocery store with one of my nephews. As I was heading out and was in a hurry I caught a glimpse as I went by of a woman collecting money or something for some kind of organization...so I backed up and gave her a gospel card. She said she loved Jesus but didn't even look at me to want to talk but past me to my nephew in the trolley. Hope she looks into the truth. And when I was taking the trolley back, the young man in the car park collecting them, offered to take it for me so I whipped out a gospel card from my pocket and gave him one. And the man at the petrol station got one too. So I was just thankful for whatever opportunities I had cuz when you're on duty serving, your attention is divided and especially being guardians over small children. And you go and do what you're told and when. And that's good works too and you want to be a good witness and do it well also.
Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God:

And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;

Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.
Colossians 3:22-24

Oh and I got asked to walk down to the park with the sleeping baby so I was noticing all the mail boxes along the way that said 'no junk mail'. But I slipped a gospel card in a mail box that didn't say so. I sure know the gospel isn't junk and I still would put them in them if I felt led but you have to be careful and wise still and I had my hands full with baby too.

This scripture came to mind...

She hath done what she could: she is come aforehand to anoint my body to the burying.

Mark 14:8

Let us do what we can and keep learning how we can do things even better for our Lord!

And I'm extra thankful for safe travels back home as I got asked to drive their big unfamiliar car around with the children and yeah when you're focusing on how to drive something you can miss focusing on other things you should 🙄, but anyway we made it! Praise God. A day in the life of a servant. The Lord only will allow what He does. We just do our best.

Awesome pelican creation...

This snake came out of the water right near where the children were playing...

Interesting how they can swim in the water and slither on land.

Saw this tiny caravan...

And thought what more does someone need to live in?! Our treasures are above and more stuff of this world is truly just a burden.

Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee. My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.

Psalm 73:25-26

I made you a video to encourage you on!

Hard to get tired of the waves coming in...

Peaceful aren't they. Good things He made and allows us to see in a dark world.
The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.
Psalm 29:11

I was hoping to read you a scripture tonight but I had some vacuuming helping work to do and it must have stirred up a lot of dust type things so I lost some of my voice from it or something. Oh well. It will be an extra blessing reading to you tomorrow Lord willing!

But you can read some more of His Word here instead!

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
Psalm 119:105

Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.
Psalm 119:160

Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word.
 Psalm 119:67
I rejoice at thy word, as one that findeth great spoil.
Psalm 119:162

Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
Psalm 119:11
His Word is so much to us! Let's keep feeding on it and feeding it to one another however we can!

Press on sister soldiers! Worthy is the Lamb!
