Today's Encouragement (12 March 2023)

Greetings sisters!

Hope this finds you well! I'm well and keeping busy here...and thinking of my sisters who love the Lord. Dropping back in here now to share some edification.

Thank you sister for this scripture picture...

I cried unto thee, O Lord: I said, Thou art my refuge and my portion in the land of the living.

Psalm 142:5

The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.

Lamentations 3:24

He is our portion and we are to be seeking Him with all that we are, aren't we! He is first and everything we do must be in response to His commands etc right sisters?!

Saw those ant holes and it's amazing how such tiny creatures can make such big holes.

Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise:

Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler,

Provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest.
Proverbs 6:6-8
We don't want to be lazy do we sisters! No.

Titus 2 works and blessings from my day...

I know my sisters are diligent in their works! And thankful for what the Lord provides.

Here's another scripture reading to edify you...

So blessed to have His Word we are!

I was thinking of this before....

But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.
Daniel 1:8

And how we today must live in the world as we can't leave it and we have work to do but we just don't get entangled with it's sins. We purpose in our hearts and carry through with that in our actions don't we.

And today we don't defile ourselves with false ways, sin, and darkness etc...like Christmas, Easter, man made church traditions, the world's entertainment and much more.

I must go but I'm thankful to edify my sisters one more day to strive on as good soldiers! Hold fast sisters! Lord willing I will be back tomorrow.

Today's Encouragement (11 March 2023)

Greetings sisters!

Hope all is well in your life wherever you've been called. And I don't mean there wouldn't be trials and challenges to overcome as that's normal but if you're striving on strong in the Lord then that's the most important! Hope you all are!

I'm sharing some flower pictures from sisters and some great verses on the Lord's mercy! We know His mercy is great and it is why we are not destroyed. He is good.

The Lord taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.

Psalm 147:11

All the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.

Psalm 25:10

For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.
Psalm 86:5

But thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth.

Psalm 86:15

Praise God for His mercy and goodness and Word and creation and salvation and so much more!

Here's another scripture reading to edify...

Talks more about the Lord's mercy in there also with our merciful and faithful High Priest...our Saviour!

Some Titus 2 on a beautiful day here...

Hope my sisters godly woman works are going well and we all remember that they too glorify the Lord as we know that is our role etc. And often such works involve food and clothing which we know are the most important of what we need physically. We are to be content with just food and raiment I mean as God says. So they're pretty important works...cooking food, washing dishes and cleaning up, washing drying, folding, and putting away clothes etc. Let's not grow weary in them or be thinking we would rather be doing something else. Well of course if we were being too extravagant and wasting time on them we may need to change that but otherwise they're really good works for us women to be doing! We are to be good helpers and servants amen sisters?!

I wanted to share a peaceful cricket you can hear chirping away on this video...

Another of God's peaceful creations. πŸ¦—πŸŒ·πŸŒΏ

Keep holding fast sister soldier saints and let's keep reminding ourselves that we should expect many trials in the faith and in this wicked world. But let's keep trusting in Him and not being afraid of any amazement as it says about the holy women of old in 1 Peter 3.

Today's Encouragement (10 March 2023)

Greetings sisters!

Hope you're strong and striving in the Lord on this day we will never get again. Time is moving on hour by hour, day by day, year by year, decade by decade. Time will go fast and then we will be facing the Lord one day (any day really). We want to be found in peace with Him don't we sisters. So we keep being sober minded and stedfast and examining ourselves and working out our salvation with fear etc. We have not attained to eternal life yet have we sisters. We walk by faith after our Saviour and Shepherd today with the hope to come but we have to endure until the end don't we! Let's keep aiming to do that until the end...not growing weary, and heeding the warnings and examples in His Word of those falling away and turning back. Let that not be us.

And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment;

That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ;

Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.

Philippians 1:9-11

Here's a scripture reading to edify you today...

I must go but I hope my sisters are soldiering on in the Lord through all the work you have to do. We only have right now to deal with so let's take each thing as it comes and deal with it, not rushing on wanting to be doing something else! Hold fast to the Lord and His truth sisters!

Thank you sister for sharing this scripture picture...

Isn't that awesome...our God is greater than it all and in control! He reigns!

Hope you're doing well today! I'm keeping busy here and I'm popping back in and sharing various bits and pieces from my day.

Beautiful creations He made. So nice to see pretty water droplets on things.

And sharing blessings He gives.

And peaceful green thriving plants that grow food.

And more good foods to cook into yummy treats.

Sisters sharing scriptures...

We definitely know we must endure and continue and strive and overcome in this faith life! Let's keep working on that sisters!

Today's Encouragement (7 March 2023)

Greetings sisters!

I hope you're standing strong like the house built on the rock our Saviour talked about (by doing His commandments) and not on the sand (by not doing them)!

I read this this morning and it's quite clear to me that it's a serious thing to be working at this faith in Christ and not just some casual thing people think they have already attained to. We know we must strive and endure.

Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.

For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward;

How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;

Hebrews 2:1-3

That's one of many good warnings to us isn't it sisters. We're blessed to have warnings. God is good to give them to us. We don't want to be lukewarm, lazy, unprofitable servants do we!

Good garden treasures and blessings...

And Titus 2 type works I get to do.

God provides and we don't want to take that forgranted! (Tonight's meal made with zucchini, onion, cucumber, potato, tomato, garlic, parsley and lemon from the garden...what a blessing!)

Here's another scripture reading....

We live by His Word don't we sisters and it is the TRUTH!

(Thank you sister for sending these two)...

Amen...so much about good works we are to do in His Word! Let's keep being diligent in ours daily!

And there's even more verses continuing on from the above...

I think zealous of good works sums up what we are to be about amen sisters?! And also as I see there provoking each other unto good works also! We can all sharpen each other in them or convict if one isn't doing what they should. It's perhaps one of those concepts I didn't fully see before in scriptures until the last few years. Another one I didn't seem to see before was how we are to not be partial and what it means and the depths of it. Praise God for showing us His precious truth! Let us not take that lightly. We know what He can do if we trample it etc.

Well I must go but keep holding fast sister saints! I hope all your good works are going well for you! And you're being that shining light wherever you are.

Today's Encouragement (6 March 2023)

Greetings sister saints!

I hope you're well and faithful today! My sisters are zealous of good works I know! So I'm sure you're all keeping occupied and being faithful in whatever life you have.

I was thinking about this scripture...

And it came to pass afterward, that he went throughout every city and village, preaching and shewing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God: and the twelve were with him,

And certain women, which had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities, Mary called Magdalene, out of whom went seven devils,

And Joanna the wife of Chuza Herod's steward, and Susanna, and many others, which ministered unto him of their substance.

Luke  8:1-3

Jesus and His twelve disciples travelling and preaching with many women disciples with Him also. I'm sure they were good servants and helped in many ways, as it says, with their substance.

We know this woman was very thankful to Jesus to be forgiven of her sins...

Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.

Luke 7:47

And we know Him and His truth are very precious and so while we don't physically have our Saviour with us we still give up much (willingly or kill our flesh) to follow Him in obedience.

Here's some scriptures on 'raising up' that is an awesome thing that God does with His great power!

Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.

2 Corinthians 4:14

Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Romans 6:4

He is such a God of hope amen sisters?!

Another scripture reading for my sisters...

And pretty creations...

Glory to God for all things! Many uncountable blessings in Him! Let's keep striving after Him sisters!

I hope your day goes well in the Lord. Hold fast! And don't grow weary in well doing!

Today's Encouragement (5 March 2023)

Greetings sisters!

How are you? One more day to serve the Lord and be thankful for all we have in Him amen.

Here's another scripture reading for you...

I had a busy day of cleaning and it came in a bit stormy...

Our great God is in control of it all and far far greater than it! He is so amazing and yet He came to earth in the form of one of us.

But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

Philippians 2:7-9

Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.

For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.

Hebrews 2:17-18

He is a great and precious Saviour indeed! Let us follow after Him with all that we are! He is worthy!

Thank you faithful sisters for the scriptures...

His Word strengthens and encourages us! His Word is the truth!

I must go now but I hope you're doing well striving on after the Lord no matter what right where you are! We want to be living in today as it's all we have isn't it sisters! And I'm here edifying you and getting tired and looking forward to bed soon after working hard. God gives us rest and many blessings as we all have food and raiment and so much more as far as I know.

Hold fast sisters! Lord willing I will be back tomorrow and hope you are too!

Today's Encouragement (4 March 2023)

Greetings sisters!

How are you today? I hope you're strong in the Lord and striving to lead a blameless life for our worthy Saviour! We all have many things in this life to deal with sometimes that we would rather not need to but through it all we need to remember we are to be seeking first God's kingdom and righteousness! And doing everything as unto Him and because of Him and for Him as all we have is His and He made us and gave us all we have.

Such pretty days here as the season turns into autumn...

We know the earth with all it's cycles will continue until it's end. We don't have to worry about things but trust it all to the Creator. He has been so merciful to mankind after we sinned against Him.

1 John 2 for my sisters...

God's Word is good and we're so blessed to have it. Let us not take that lightly.

When we see the masses rejecting the truth of the gospel and the call to repentance especially after having it preached to them (like in street preaching etc) we see how hardened people are.

I thought of these scriptures to do with that...

I hearkened and heard, but they spake not aright: no man repented him of his wickedness, saying, What have I done? every one turned to his course, as the horse rusheth into the battle.

Jeremiah 8:6

And they don't respond in repentance as we see in these two examples...

But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto God: yea, let them turn every one from his evil way, and from the violence that is in their hands.

Who can tell if God will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not?

And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.

Jonah 3:8-10

Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Acts 2:37-38

Such a dark time we live in with a lack of the fear of God and we know they have forgotten about His severity and coming judgements lest they repent. But all His saints are doing what they can to warn them about this.

(Thank you sister for adding that awesome scripture to my picture of His peaceful creations.) Pure in heart...that is a precious thing in this wicked impure world.

And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

1 John 3:3

Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

2 Timothy 2:22

Let's continue keeping our hearts pure for Him. He is worthy!

Hold fast sisters and Lord willing I will be back sharing some edifying for you all tomorrow.

The Truth About Anabaptists

Greetings godly sisters,

I hope you are all pressing on in the Lord today and abiding in His precious truth!

Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;

And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

John 8:31-32

Today I want to share something a bit different. And I do this because I see the great spiritual danger in the world first of all with all denominations (Mormon, JW, Catholic, Lutheran, Methodist, Baptist, Pentecostal, 'non-denominational' etc). But I want to here warn any women seeking truth about the particular dangers of the anabaptist faith. One of the reasons I do this is because when I was seeking more truth I was drawn to anabaptists as they definitely seemed to have more truth and obedience to the scriptures. But now I know otherwise and much has been revealed about them that is ugly and plain wicked. But I still think there is more potential for sheep to wander into them rather than the worldly churches which most see through if they are truly seeking in the scriptures. But the anabaptists can do a reasonably good job of appearing 'beautiful' on the outside like the whitened sepulchres Jesus spoke about...but in the end their heart is shown and it is not for the full truth of the gospel. And if you may say there may be some sincere people in there with them...and yes there could be who God will lead out of there, most are just sincere to their false religion and partial to their people and tradition because they (most all) do not repent once shown truth. We can see their corrupt fruit once tested to the Word.

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Matthew 7:21

Let's remember that satan knows the scriptures very well also sisters. We remember not to go by anyone quoting scriptures to defend some of what they do. We live by every word of God and test all things don't we. And at times their lips can say a lot of good things but we know not to be deceived by what people say.

He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

Mark 7:6-7

So my introduction to anabaptists was that many of the homeschool books I used growing up were from Mennonite publishing companies. And I also heard their sermons and read many of their books. So when I was older and seeking truth I naturally looked in their direction because they 'seemed' to be closer to the truth in many ways than the regular worldly type 'Christians'. And I was hungry for much more than was around me.

But I am glad I didn't get swept away in them but God led me to the real truth found in His Word and obeying Him and not false man made traditions. We must learn to discern/test/examine all things to the Word not to what our flesh likes, or to the world or culture,  or even what those in authority over us (family, friends) believe and do etc.

Since many anabaptists call themselves Mennonites because they claim to agree with the teachings of Menno Simon's but today they have really drifted away from his more biblical doctrines. And sure a long time ago they may have been more biblical but today are so far from the truth just like so many are falling further away from truth. It's very sad really. But God must be first and glorified.

They remind me of this scripture right away...

The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.

Luke 18:11

And all the while they are living in many other sins. I hope they repent of them all and see and know God's heart and forgiveness and cleansing on those who have become born of Him. And I hope the same for themselves...that they would come to repentance and leave their man made false religion and become new creations!

Another thing to remember....you may have seen women who dressed closer to biblical than the worldly churches, and they headcovered and you thought they must be more godly women. And then you later see them dressed in jeans and skin tight pants and no headcovering and makeup and jewelry and all manner of revealing clothing. I have seen this happen in a short time in some anabaptist women and so I know it's all over the place. It's what was in their heart even if it may have been covered up with more biblical looking clothing at one time.

And speaking of clothing, I now know the way most anabaptists dress today in tight dresses with flashy colours/patterns and sometimes tiny sheer headcoverings is not biblical at all. So while dress may be a big visible part of who someone is...it by no means stops there. We must test all their doctrines to see if they truly are of God. We must never allow ourselves to be deceived by someone who is dressed more close to biblical and seems 'nice' and 'sincere' or 'godly' as we must look at every area of their life and doctrine to see if it lines up with scripture as well. We do not unite to people who are in false doctrines and sins.

As women we need to be careful not to allow loneliness or looking for other women to fellowship with to pull us away from our stand on all truth. Even if we have to stand alone...we must!

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

Psalm 1:1

Oh and you might say those are minor issues...but it's not only that but even what many would call the big sins (immorality, abusive behaviors, drunkenness, love of money etc) are among them. And with God everything does matter. And we sisters know we are to strive for perfection and blamelessness and walking worthy of such a holy Saviour.

And yes because I am writing this to women...feminism is a big issue as well. Well they may not allow women pastors/teachers etc for the most part, there is still much of this sin as would be expected if their hearts have not been transformed and they do not obey the Word in all areas.

We know feminism is rampant in the world and so it is among those who claim His name but in reality seem spiritually dead. But let it not be so among God's holy daughters who die to self and strive for submissive obedience to the Lord and the roles He commanded us to have.

And it seems they're also very proud of their heritage and traditions and reluctant to leave what they've grown up in as for most it's all they've known. Of course there's all different types/divisions but if you know the truth you can see where their heart is and it is often very worldly and wicked just like the rest of the lost. Don't be deceived sisters by any facade they may have.

So that's some truth that I felt led to write and warn anyone who was like me looking to the anabaptists for more truth instead of just going to the scriptures alone and testing all things etc and rejecting false ways of man. Hope that may help someone else to be diverted from being swallowed up in that form of false religion of our day. Please repent if you have any association with them or their false doctrines (Christmas, Easter, Lord's day worship, man made traditions imposed on people for church 'membership', unbiblical baptism etc). Sisters, we can share the gospel with them and warn them and then we must leave them and not keep having dealings with them (lest we be hypocrites and like unto them).

The light exposes sin and we love the light don't we sisters and don't want to be partakers of or cover up sin when it could deceive the undiscerning. Hold fast to the truth of the Word and keep striving on even if it has to be alone. The Lord is worthy and it will be worth it and nothing is worth losing our soul over for short lived flesh pleasing on this earth.

Let's follow the true traditions that we are commanded to and not the ones made up by men.

Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.

2 Thessalonians 2:15

Love in Christ,

Michaela

Today's Encouragement (2 March 2023)

Greetings godly sisters!

God gave me another day to live for Him. And you too if you're here reading this.

For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.

Romans 14:8

1 John 1 for my sisters...

Glad to have His Word to read, eyes to see, and the blessing to share edifying and encouraging good pure and true content with my sisters! We love the things of God...He is light and we love light and therefore hate darkness and the works thereof.

And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

Ephesians 5:11

For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:

Ephesians 5:8

Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.

1 Thessalonians 5:5

I thought of this scripture about making excuses and how we need to make sure we are not making them ourselves in any area.

Then said he unto him, A certain man made a great supper, and bade many:

And sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden, Come; for all things are now ready.

And they all with one consent began to make excuse. The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I pray thee have me excused.

And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them: I pray thee have me excused.

And another said, I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come.

Luke 14:16-20

Good to ponder as we know we are to be seeking God's kingdom first and most and loving Him first and most aren't we. We're blessed to all have opportunity to make sure right now while we have life and breath that we are doing all we should be. We are responsible for everything we do and if we're being faithful in all we have.

Pretty moon and sky this evening...

His peaceful creations doing what they do as time moves on till the Lord parts the skies and burns up all the works in this world and makes a new heaven and earth where righteousness dwells. Let's keep preparing for that and being ready.

Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

Revelation 1:7

Hold fast till He come sisters! Hope all your Titus 2 godly woman works are going well wherever you are!

Greetings sisters!

I'm hoping all of you are doing well where the Lord has called you! We strive to be thankful and content and patient in this life don't we and I'm sure we all agree we can do with a lot of those and a lot of reminders too!

Brethren, let every man, wherein he is called, therein abide with God.

1 Corinthians 7:24

Another scripture reading for my sisters...

We love His Word don't we sisters. We're all blessed to have it and want to keep treasuring it more and more.

Here's some more scriptures a sister shared too...

Our faith is so important isn't it sisters. In fact I think a lot of issues in our lives come down to a lack of faith in God don't you think.

Let's not let anyone steal our joy! We have a risen Saviour who defeated death and died to save us from our sins so how can we not have joy about that!

Like this...

Rejoicing in the hope to come while enduring tribulation and such.

I'm blessed to send out gospel cards with sewing orders I receive. We know the Lord wants all to come to repentance and so do we! I'm sure my sisters are also looking for ways to share the precious truth that sets people free! Sad when most reject it but we remember to do our works unto the Lord and not men although we love them too of course.

Hold fast sisters and I hope all your good works are going well.
