Today's Encouragement (9 December 2022)

Greetings godly sisters!

How are you this day?! Hopefully whole heartedly seeking after the Lord!

Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.

Psalm 119:2

We don't want to be doing it half heartedly or even with three quarters...but with a whole heart!

And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself. And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.

Luke 10:27-28

(just notice all the words 'all' in that scripture too!)

If that isn't a fruitful bean plant I don't know what is!

But that's just like my sisters though, fruitful in good works! And that's because they are connected to the Vine...our Saviour. I was thinking about that when I saw some tiny apples fallen from the tree...they will not grow or be fit to eat in season! Indeed without Him we can do nothing!

I had a fruitful day sewing headcoverings...

Thankful for what the Lord allows us all to do.

I was sharing with sisters how I love Romans 12 and all the good things packed in it. I share some of it here to edify us!

Let love be without dissimulation.

Abhor that which is evil;

cleave to that which is good.

Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;

Not slothful in business;

fervent in spirit;

serving the Lord;

Rejoicing in hope;

patient in tribulation;

continuing instant in prayer;

Distributing to the necessity of saints;

given to hospitality.

Romans 12:9-13

So much to ponder on each one and how we can be doing them isn't there?!

Hold fast sisters saints and keep marching on as good soldiers of His!

Today's Encouragement (8 December 2022)

Hello sisters!

We're in this new day...to live for our Lord! I hope you're well and strong in Him.

I was reading this scripture the other day and it does make you think as that is where all are headed to...that great final day of judgment.

And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Revelation 20:11-15

But we have time today to hear His voice and not to harden our hearts and to make sure we are right with Him.

It's been a busy but fruitful day for me.

A lot of that going on. Praise God for all we can do! And we sisters just go about our business whatever it is!

Green bean and zucchini soup. Good provisions from the Lord!

Gospel goes up in a nearby town notice board...

My day is about over. The cycle of the sun coming up and going down goes on...for now...but not forever.

And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.

Revelation 21:23

That's awesome to think of...even though we can't fully understand how all that will be! But we trust nothing is impossible with God and He cannot lie!

And we follow Him! And there's no such thing as believing in Him and not following Him is there. That is unbelief really isn't it. We believe what He says also and that He wants us to follow Him.

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

John 10:27

OK sisters...I hope each of you are running this race with much patience. Be strong!

Today's Encouragement (7 December 2022)

Greetings godly sisters!

We get one more day to serve our risen Saviour! Hope you're going along well wherever you are!

Today I got to go to a few fabric stores...

The two women who cut my fabric got gospel cards too...

So many fabrics in prints and patterns...
...that we godly women don't use for adorning ourselves. So little percentage of a fabric store can be used for clothing. I sometimes think how nice it would be if there were stores we could go in and everything is biblical and godly and pure and good! But no we know we're living in this world even though our kingdom isn't here.

I saw many pretty purple flowing trees in the town...

So beautiful! Glory to God!

My new gospel cards came in the mail...

They should keep me going for awhile! Praise God to be able to be involved in 'preaching the gospel to every creature'! And we know everyone can come and He wants none to perish! And we do it in our godly woman ways being His witnesses unto the uttermost parts of the earth!

So sad to see our precious Saviour's name amongst the world's trash this time of year...

He is so much more worthy than that 😥.

And to hear the children being told lies about Santa coming for them if they've been good. If that isn't a bold lie that keeps you outside the gates of heaven...I don't know what is. But we know how cleverly the father of lies packages them to make them look not so obvious as that. Let's be on guard and vigilant sisters!

Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

Revelation 22:14-15

I thought I'd share some scriptures on 'servants' and it's one to ponder as I know many people want to be 'free and independent' which really is prideful because we're first of all definitely servants of the Lord aren't we?! But I'll just share these scriptures to encourage us in it. And as women we definitely have our roles as servants as even what we were created for was to be helpers to man wasn't it. And it helps us be content in whatever calling we have. Hope His Word encourages you all!

Deal with thy servant according unto thy mercy, and teach me thy statutes.

I am thy servant; give me understanding, that I may know thy testimonies.

Psalm 119:124-125

Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

Romans 6:18

We can be like our sister Phebe too..

I commend unto you Phebe our sister, which is a servant of the church which is at Cenchrea:

Romans 16:1

Caring for the saints. As best we can as scattered as we are though...faithful in little too!

I love this one!

For he that is called in the Lord, being a servant, is the Lord's freeman: likewise also he that is called, being free, is Christ's servant.

1 Corinthians 7:22

For though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more.

1 Corinthians 9:19

Our ultimate example in our precious Saviour...

But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

Philippians 2:7

And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:

And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.

Revelation 22:3-4

I love all those. Good to ponder the many different types of servants we may and should actually be.

Hold fast sisters and I hope my post today edified, encouraged, and blessed you! Hope your day is a joyous and fruitful one!

Today's Encouragement (6 December 2022)

Greetings sisters!

Here's a new day for us to choose to serve the Lord and walk in His ways and Spirit and not the flesh!

Here's a good scripture reminder on patience...

Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.

Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.

Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door.

Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience.

Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.

James 5:7-11

A lot of good things in there to get our thoughts straight. His Word has so much depth and is the truth!

I had another sewing day...

Working on two more shirts.

My view at one point...

Thought it looked sort of nice:-)

This was me learning a lesson...

But glad when it doesn't wreck the whole thing and it works out fine in the end!

God provides daily bread another day...

(I posted a mayo recipe I used for that which you can find here if you like.)

Little chicks...

Peaceful creations. There's all sorts of those isn't there sisters!

Here's a peaceful sunset on my day...

From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the Lord's name is to be praised.

Psalm 113:3

Amen! He is worthy to be praised!

Well I guess that's it from me for now...until tomorrow Lord willing! Let's see what He has for us in the next 24 hours!

Hold fast sister saints!

Simple Egg Mayonnaise

Hello sisters,

Today I wanted to share a simple mayonnaise recipe with you.

1 egg

1 tsp dry mustard

3 tsp apple cider vinegar

1 cup oil (I used avocado oil but you can use light tasting olive oil etc.)

Salt to taste

Optionals...

Garlic powder

Dash of maple syrup/honey or sweetener of choice

Start with adding the egg to a narrow jar or beaker and then add vinegar, mustard, and salt (and any optional ingredients). Top with the oil.

Lower the stick blender to the bottom and blend on the bottom until most of the ingredients are emulsified.

Then move it slowly up and down until it's all combined.

I used it in a pasta tuna meal...

Good blessings the Lord provides us all.

Let us most of all make sure we are hungering and thirsting after Him and His righteousness!

Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

Matthew 5:6

Love to you all,

Sister Michaela

Today's Encouragement (5 December 2022)

Hello sisters who love the Lord!

How are you today?

Joyous?

Patient?

Loving?

Kind?

Chaste?

Hard-working?

Helpful?

Sober-minded?

Truthful?

Obedient?

Holy?

I hope so because those are God's ways and fruit we are His! And so many more characteristics and qualities we are to have aren't we. And the Lord helps us to be able to walk in all His ways doesn't He!

Morning blessings of hot chocolate with a great reminder...

We sisters often talk about how we need reminders...over, and over, and over again! So it's a good thing when we can edify and encourage each other daily in order to do so! We don't want to be proud and think we know everything do we?! No! And we're blessed if we have sisters (brethren) who love to share all kinds of things in the Lord and about His truth! In our fellowship we don't spend our time on idle talk do we but on good pure and true things that are pleasing to the Lord amen sisters?

I was thinking of this scripture...

He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

John 21:17

Just the concept of the Lord's people being fed. It's a good one to ponder.

More sewing today...

The headcovering type I've been working on lately.

Thankful to be able to sew clothing for myself and others! I'm still learning so much...and even though we only need quite simple clothing there's so much fabric out there and sorting through all the different types to find ones that are suitable can be challenging.

Well another day has come and almost gone for me. Many good things there are to fill our minutes. And as we sisters often talk about too...working at and being diligent in our ministries as we all have one or can work towards having one or adding more.

See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,

Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

Ephesians 5:15-17

Hold fast sisters!

Love to you in Him,

Sister Michaela

Today's Encouragement (4 December 2022)

Greetings sisters!

Are you holding fast to the Lord and His truth today? I tust so and also hope all your good works as godly women are going well! I'm sure there's a lot of cooking and cleaning and other such serving and helping duties going on that we all do! Well we all have different lives and callings but we're all still women and we know we were created to be helpers. And even if some of you have health limitations...it matters if you're being faithful in what you can do and content and patient in what you can't. God knows our hearts and motives.

Sharing a scripture of what we don't want to be...

Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

James 4:4

We don't want to be spiritual adulteresses (God's enemies) do we, like we used to be?! No! Praise God He set us free from our past sinful life of serving ourselves and the flesh and not fully being a spotless bride unto Christ!

And saying, Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein:

Acts 14:15

I love that too..."turn from these vanities"...amen we did that and now warn others to do the same lest they perish. The world is filled with all manner of the lusts of the flesh. But we live to serve the One who created us, and fear and love Him!

I like the huge zucchini flowers...

Many of those blessings on the way! God providing!

My day was a good and busy one of sewing research etc and garden watering and harvesting and sister encouraging etc. Hope each of yours goes well and I appreciate hearing from my sisters every day. God is good to allow us to walk with a few of His holy people in these wicked and dark last days. It is so very refreshing knowing those who treasure God and His Word and ways to obey Him! It's because of our love for Him...but He first loved us so it's all about and because of Him, amen sisters?!

Hold fast sister saints and keep marching on!

Today's Encouragement (3 December 2022)

Greetings godly sisters!

Hoping this finds you well and strong in Him!

I'm back again after my day He gave me.

Here's a scripture to encourage us in this walk we are on!

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

Psalm 1:1-2

Amen we do delight in the Lord's ways and strive to walk in all of them!

Sewed another headcovering today...

Needs some experimenting and learning what's best when doing new things doesn't it?!

My view as I work on finishing this post...
So glad for a refuge from the mosquitos!

But even more thankful for this...
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Psalm 46:1

I read this scripture in Paul's closing to one of his letters.

If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha.

1 Corinthians 16:22

And it always makes me stop and ponder and it's so abrupt and puts everything in place so to speak. Christ is worthy!

He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

Matthew 10:37

Then I think of how we love Him and am encouraged to test myself and also other people and remember who truly loves Him.

He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

John 14:21

Praise God for His Word and His ways. Hope those scriptures encouraged you!

Hold fast sisters as we walk by faith until we see Him face to face!!

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. My love be with you all in Christ Jesus. Amen.

1 Corinthians 16:23-24

Today's Encouragement (2 December 2022)

Greetings in love to my sisters in Christ,

Another day...to serve our Creator! Hope this finds you well and keeping the faith!

One of God's pretty creatures...

So nice to see such a thriving green garden!

It wouldn't be possible without water or nutrients...but God provides that naturally or for man to work for it.

A peaceful little spot on my travels I found to stop and make some audios for my sisters across the world...

Pretty sunset out my room window after a safe trip home...

And a kind sister who knew I was extra busy today made me these scripture picture gifts to help me edify you here. The love of the brethren is precious:-) Thank you sister!

Let's rejoice in the Lord as these scriptures talk about...

Hope they blessed you! We have so much to rejoice about in our great God!

Well I hope each of you are standing and striving forward in the faith! The Lord knows who are His doesn't He sisters?! And He knows what's best for us.

I leave you with this scripture...

And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you:

To the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.

1 Thessalonians 3:12-13

Today's Encouragement (1 December 2022)

Greetings sisters!

I hope you're strong in the Lord today! And holding fast through any thing that's hard to bear in the flesh. Rejoice in the Spirit sisters!

My day was filled again with cooking, and looking after little ones, and cleaning...

When cleaning, I often think of spiritual washing. How awesome we can be clean before the Lord!

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:

Hebrews 10:22-24

Saw these pretty birds hanging on the fence eating grass seeds. Awesome creations.

Glory to their Creator!

I'm off to finish off my night and be edified by a Bible study audio from a brother. Praise God for refreshing in His Word of truth after a long day in earthly duties we must do. And I'm blessed with my sisters who I hear from daily who are striving in truth!

Hold fast sisters! Lord willing I will be back here sharing tomorrow and hope you all are too!

Brethren, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.

Galatians 6:18
