Today's Edification (1 March 2026)

Greetings sisters!

It is another day to press on in courage and strength and hope in our Lord and eternal life to come! We know our Lord is in control and gave us another day. So may we use it for His glory on all good things that He gave us to do.

Sharing some scriptures that encourage us to put others above ourselves. Of course God is always first but the truth He taught is clear for us on this.

Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.
Philippians 2:3-4

Master, which is the great commandment in the law?

Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

This is the first and great commandment.

And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Matthew 22:36-40

Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7

Let no man seek his own, but every man another's wealth.
1 Corinthians 10:24

For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Galatians 5:13-14

The Lord's ways are so good! Let's keep seeking to walk in them, sisters.

There are blessings in return to His children and of course our inheritance to come if we endure faithful to the very end.

There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty.

The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.

He that withholdeth corn, the people shall curse him: but blessing shall be upon the head of him that selleth it.

Proverbs 11:24-26

For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because ye belong to Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward.
Mark 9:41

Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
Luke 6:38

Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again.
Luke 6:30

We have better rewards from our Father than physical things that may be taken from us! May our treasures be in heaven and may we obey and please our Lord while we are down here.

Keep pressing on in the truth, sisters! Love and mercy unto you in His name.
