Hello sisters!
God granted us life today as I am here writing and you are here reading! I hope you are holding fast in the true faith in such a compromised age. Yes we were told of apostasy and perilous times. It is no surprise but we need to keep vigilant through it all and take heed that we aren't affected by it. There's so much we can't change in this world...but with His help we can change ourselves; our attitudes and actions. No we can't save ourselves as we need Christ, but we are responsible for our actions as well. It is clear according to God's written word that all people will be judged according to their works.
It is encouraging knowing we do our works unto the Lord. It is good to keep this in mind when we are going about the duties the Lord has given us as women too! We know our labours in the Lord are not in vain too.
And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;Colossians 3:23
With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men:Ephesians 6:7Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.Ephesians 5:22
So may we do our works willingly knowing He sees and is the one we do them unto! Reminds me also of what we do unto the least of His brethren we do to Him so that's good to ponder too. There is so much to think about and so much encouragement to keep going in good things. A few times we have been called to not grow weary in well doing! We know we also must endure to the end to be saved. And there are a lot of physical things to press through here but then we can think how we need to press through spiritually as well. We also want to be faithful in all we have been given and faithful in 'little'.
And we also have the Lord to be joyful in. There could be many trials and tribulations around us sometimes but the Lord and His goodness is joy and so we should focus on Him through all this life!
Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.
Philippians 4:4
Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe.
Philippians 3:1
Rejoice evermore.1 Thessalonians 5:16
His grace through Christ is so precious and it is sufficient for us! Let us remember it often and be thankful.
I hope your days are going well sisters as you work hard in the life the Lord has for you or if you're sick you get to practice a lot of patience and trusting in Him and being His daughter! Of course God knows our limitations and what we would do if we could as well. I sometimes think of that scripture where it says to do good to all as you have opportunity. Some of us may get more opportunities than others but it matters if we take those opportunities too! The Lord help us do our best. So strive on sisters. Love to you in the Lord our Saviour.
