Hello again sisters!
Today is a brand new day of His mercies! A unique day that we will never get again...obviously but even when the days have a lot of the same things in, let us not take them for granted and the blessings and wonders of life itself and all of His creations and spiritual gifts of our merciful God! And we know this is not our eternal home. We are just passing through but getting ready for our forever home with the Lord. Let's keep getting ready sisters.
Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.Luke 12:40
But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.1 Peter 4:7
Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.1 Thessalonians 5:6
Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.Luke 21:36
Yes we need to be serious about this life while serving Him with joy! Let us be like the five wise virgins who were ready. Let us love Him with all we are and fear Him too. May we be ready to stand before the judgment seat. Just thinking about that is awe inspiring and yet fearful and yet precious and wonderful. Perfect love casts out fear and yet the righteous will scarcely be saved. Oh may we be found in peace of Him on that day so we can hear, "Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me." (Matthew 25). These are good works. All shall be judged by their works.
As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.Galatians 6:10
Praise God for a Saviour who made it even possible for us to come before the almighty God. So may we walk worthy of Him and be pleasing and acceptable to God, humbly walking in His ways.
