Greetings sisters!
Just me again dropping in to share a little encouragement in the faith with you! Hopefully you're doing well and pressing on looking to our Saviour for all you need! He is precious and our only hope! Let us follow hard after Him in all the ways He taught us. I love this scripture as it sums up a lot!
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
Titus 2:11-14
Reminds me of these scriptures too which also sum up a lot for us!
He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?Micah 6:8
Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.Ecclesiastes 12:13-14
Praise God for the grace that came through Jesus and I am thankful God is no respecter of persons. All can come; Jew or Gentile, bond or free, male or female. The gospel is for every creature! Meaning every human of course and God wants none to perish.
I'm sharing a little encouragement from Proverbs 31 here too...
Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.
Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.
She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.
She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.
Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.
Proverbs 31:10,25-27,30
It is interesting that the chapter of Proverbs 31 starts out by saying it was what the writers mother had taught him. Not sure if it means the whole chapter but anyway it is a good picture of a faithful and diligent hard working woman! And we just all need to be that in what the Lord has given us and to the best of our ability. And yes we must press on through physical tiredness as well sometimes but that is all part of it! We must endure when we want to give up too. There's a lot to learn about perseverance in our duties and so many different aspects. Even our physical work as godly women is greatly affected by the qualities and characteristics we are to be through the commands we have.
So strive on sisters and Lord willing I will be back sharing edifying tomorrow. Mercy, peace, and love to you in His name.
