Greetings again sister saints!
I am dropping in to share in the Lord! He is good and He must always be first and foremost in our lives and there is no part in our lives that isn't about Him in reality. Though we do not see Him as we live by faith, He made all things and gave us the written Word about His Son so we may believe!
And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book: But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.John 20:30-31
And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
1 John 5:11-13
How thankful we are for this wonderful news we have been told of our Saviour who loved us and died for us! He is the only way and we just need to diligently seek after Him and we do not need to look anywhere else!
Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away? Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.John 6:67-69
Let us cleave to the Lord with purpose of heart. And of course this truth affects how we live as godly women and how we do our work. He has told us that good works are to be what we adorn ourselves with and not clothes and jewels and hairdos. We know meek and quiet spirits are of great price to God. We know humility and submission are His ways and so much more!
