Hello again sisters in Christ!
God granted me another morning and evening here and everything in between!
The mighty God, even the LORD, hath spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof.Psalm 50:1
From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the LORD'S name is to be praised.Psalm 113:3
Amen He is so worthy to be praised for ever and ever! Let us live our lives in a manner that glorifies Him and shows our love for Him. We do not want anything to be just words and not actions. I may have shared this scripture recently but it's a good one to ponder either way...
In all labour there is profit: but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury.Proverbs 14:23
There can be a lot of talk but little action in a variety of things in life. Let us keep on getting down to serving Him in our acts of obedience to His ways. There's so much for us to work on. It's such a blessing though to be able to have that opportunity according to His mercy to grow up in Him. Yes He made us all different and also in the body He made us all different members and gave different measures of faith and gifts so let us strive to thrive in all He has given us. No we are not to compare ourselves to other people. Let us focus on our own lives and how we are doing in pleasing the Lord. And if we have other saints in our lives we can encourage them to do well in the life God has given them.
This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.Titus 3:8
This scripture stood out to me yesterday about angels...
But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
Hebrews 1:13-14
About them ministering.
And I just shared these verses with a sister the other week about Jesus and angels...
And he was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted of Satan; and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered unto him.Mark 1:13
Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done. And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.Luke 22:42-43
It was just interesting to ponder angels serving and helping our Saviour in His deep trials. Those accounts are really quite precious. Then that got me pondering how He is referred to frequently as the Son of man. Truly He humbled Himself and took upon Him the form of a servant.
For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.Mark 10:45
What a perfect example He is for us. So let us sisters grow into the great depths of serving. Jesus taught that it is more blessed to give than to receive. He speaks the truth of course! It is a blessing though to have opportunity to learn and grow and yes even to deny the flesh as His ways are truly good and He will reward in due time! So press on with zeal and joy wherever you are on God's earth, sisters! Grace, mercy, peace, and love to you in His name. Hold fast till He comes, sisters!
