Greetings sisters!
God granted us life again on this day! There's always so much to be thankful for. When you have the right biblical view of life and what's happening in this world, the best that you can anyway, then you realize that God is God and we are just humans. We do not deserve to live even but you see His mercies and goodness in all the good things we can experience on this earth; fresh breezes, pretty flowers, beautiful sunsets and so much more! We have food and raiment and shelter as well and a heap more. And most of all you see His love in how He sent His Son as our way of escaping His wrath to come! But we must follow hard behind Him as He is the only way. Those in Him are not lost sheep anymore so we do not do our own ways any more but His. We hear His voice and strangers will we not follow.
I was listening in John and this scripture stood out as it would have been an amazing moment...
And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.John 11:43-44
Indeed his death was for God's glory in His will. How happy Mary and Martha would have been! But the people ended up wanting Jesus killed because of this and all He was doing and they even wanted to kill Lazarus after this also. How wicked man can be. How envious and prideful.
He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:John 1:11-12
Let us receive Him and not deny and reject Him. And we receive other true saints just as the Lord has also received us! A lot of receiving going on!
Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.Romans 15:7
Indeed we love Him because He first loved us. And He teaches us to love one another. It is all of Him and for His glory!
I was also listening to some more in Genesis today and it really stands out how much Abraham believed in God. He gave up his special son as the Lord was proving him. I can't imagine how hard that must have been. So many people today say they believe in God and yet they won't even give up the things of this life that do no please Him. God's word tells us what that means...
But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?
Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?
And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.
Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.
James 2:20-24
Let us not do that which is easy but that which is right. It is our faith. Without true faith we will not be saved. May our actions prove our faith. Let us worship Him in the beauty of holiness. Keep striving in the truth my sisters and I will strive with you as well. Our Lord is so worthy!
Love and peace to you in Jesus.
