Today's Edification (29 March 2025)

Hello sisters in Christ!

Here I am again to share some edifying for you. I hope you're doing well in the faith, standing strong and pressing on! I'm sure you're also keeping busy in the work the Lord has in front of you whatever that is for each of you! Strive to be faithful in it sisters!

God's mercies are clear to see in the Word. Indeed He had Noah go to a lot of effort to build an ark to save his household and the animals. And I read this the other day and He had to physically help Lot to leave Sodom.

And when the morning arose, then the angels hastened Lot, saying, Arise, take thy wife, and thy two daughters, which are here; lest thou be consumed in the iniquity of the city. And while he lingered, the men laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters; the LORD being merciful unto him: and they brought him forth, and set him without the city.
Genesis 19:15-16

And we see His mercy in offering the world His beloved Son. In His mercy He calls us to leave sin that destroys just as He helped Lot leave the city that was about to be destroyed.

And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.
Revelation 18:4-5
Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.
Ezekiel 18:30

Yes it's just amazing how long suffering God was in sending so many prophets to call people out of their sins and they would not listen. Sadly people are not hearing His Son today either. But may we sisters. Let us take it seriously.

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
John 10:27-28

I am sharing some older scripture pictures here too. His Word and creations are always good!

In fact a sister just shared that scripture with me today so I share some more of it here...

God's peace is precious.

Those are some good treasures from His Word indeed! I have quite a stash of such scripture pictures from over the years. And there's usually always something beautiful in His creation to take pictures of! God is good to allow us to have such beautiful things even after we sinned against Him. And it also can bring back memories of what scriptures meant to you at certain times depending on what you were going through at the time. There's so much comfort and hope in His Word no matter what!

I rejoice at thy word, as one that findeth great spoil.
Psalm 119:162

Amen yes! We are blessed to have the written word and also physical eyes to read and ears to listen physically too but most importantly eyes and ears to see and hear spiritually.

This is interesting what Jesus said to one of the ekklesia...

Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.

As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

Revelation 3:17-19

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
Revelation 3:6

Yes let us hear and heed all that is written.

May we sisters keep walking after the ways He has given us for women too. We are blessed to know what those are! So there's always going to be things for us to work on isn't there! So let us go do that one more day...and then another until our time on earth is ended.

Love to you in the faith. Sister hugs as well. Rejoice in hope sisters and let us keep our eyes on the Lord and the reward!

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
Galatians 6:9
