Salutations to my sisters in Christ!
I am back again to share some more encouragement in the faith from His Word. I hope you're all doing well.
One great day of judgement is ahead and there will be no time to change then and everyone's eternal destination will be sealed. Life is a serious thing really. All who will enter the kingdom need a changed life through the gospel and to endure in that to the end. It is wise to stop and ponder the reality of eternal torment for human souls, made in God's image, who did not serve Him...even if they had called Him Lord. But all the faithful and obedient will be with Him! What a great reward it will be and worth all that had to be endured down here! I hope and pray we all hold fast to the very end sisters. Let us not let any puny thing on this earth beset us from running our race to the end well...looking unto Jesus of course!
For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
Romans 8:13-18
Let us keep pressing on sister saints, as good soldiers ready to endure anything that we may have ahead! But the Lord is with us...may we stay near to Him and He will to us! May we remember His grace is sufficient for us. Remember that we were once...
That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
Ephesians 2:12-14
I remember that scripture whenever I think of the abuse of or common false understanding of grace. May we remember this and be content in all situations! How great a gift we have in Christ! Let us 'sell all' (Matthew 13:44-46) to obtain!
And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
2 Corinthians 12:9-10
God is light! So I wanted to read some scriptures on light today! I got a little quiet time while everyone was away so it's a good time to read His Word to my sisters to edify us all in the truth!
Just as the moon reflects light from the sun and has no light of it's own, so it is with us. We are reflecting the light of the Son! So all the glory goes to Him and indeed without Him we have no light!
Just sharing a few more bits and pieces from my days too. They are usually very simple of the same things over and over but maybe that's encouraging to you Titus 2 sisters as yours may likely be as well! Washing dishes and doing laundry and cooking and helping with children. But let us keep pressing on in good works, not growing weary in any of it!
This was just a pretty parrot having a shower in the sprinkler the other warm day...
And pretty flower creations too...
And just my simple Titus 2 works glimpse...
Good blessings from the Lord. Keep cooking for those in your lives with joy, sisters!
Even little rest breaks on the couch after a lot of work when it's quiet when the children are napping is a great blessing! Maybe any of you sisters with children know about that! There are many things that could be taken forgranted but we want to be thankful in all things and know we may not even have them one day.
In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.1 Thessalonians 5:18
Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil.1 Thessalonians 5:21-22
Well I think that's all from me for today. Let us keep striving on in the truth and light of our Lord! May we be faithful to the very end...unto death.
But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Salute every saint in Christ Jesus. The brethren which are with me greet you.
All the saints salute you, chiefly they that are of Caesar's household.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
Philippians 4:19-23
Love to all in His name,
Sister Chayil
