Today's Encouragement (2 December 2023)

Greetings beloved sisters! 

Grace and peace to you from the Lord our God! I hope all is well and you're steadfastly standing and marching on in the faith no matter what! 

And if there's any seekers reading I hope I can encourage you to repent and strive to enter the kingdom. 

My sisters are those who do the will of God. Yes there's that word 'do'. We sure have much to do in the faith life!

But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

James 1:22

For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

Hebrews 10:36

Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

Philippians 4:9

Here's some scriptures to remember that we will be judged by our works... 

For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.  

Matthew 16:27

Who will render to every man according to his deeds:

To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:

But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,

Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;

Romans 2:6-9

And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

Revelation 20:12-13

I read some scriptures that relate to God being good! Hope that encourages you! 

A woman ordered a dress off my sewing shop and we were talking about length. 

I told her that due to obedience to God's Word I only sew roughly around ankle length. It's such a blessing to know what God wants from us and so you don't have to have all this doubt. 

Man goeth forth unto his work and to his labour until the evening.

O LORD, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.

Psalms 104:23-24

(Would share God's blessings!) 

My day is about over. I'm thankful for the work that can get done in each one and the freedom and health I have today (I'm not locked up in prison for the gospel's sake!). I got to go 'fishing' online and sending out the gospel to women with websites and emails online. 

And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. 

And they straightway left their nets, and followed him.

Matthew 4:19-20

The gospel is for everyone! We don't know who the lost sheep are or what type of soil the seeds will land on when we spread them...but we just want to do our part in loving our neighbour and doing unto others as we would have them do to us as we love God by obeying Him in this. Let us sisters do what we can while we can.

The Lord is in control isn't He sisters! Let's keep pressing on and overcoming in Him.
