Sharing Another Day

Good day sisters!

Are you...

He is our hope and life, the only way! And we can learn so much and be encouraged by all He went through for us.

Thank you sisters for sharing scriptures.

There's many who want to 'take a break from God' so to speak and only do some kind of (false) religious acts on the weekends. But for us He is our very life and we never want a break from anything to do with Him. Many people expect to get to heaven...but God and obeying Him is not their sole focus here daily yet He will certainly be for those who make it into His kingdom. So I appreciate knowing other saints who are loving Him every moment by obeying Him in all things. We are consumed with God and we have that hope of the gospel we long for others to have and obey. I'm encouraged by others who truly love God with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength. There is then no time for the vain things of the world...not that we want them either.

I was looking into ordering fabric to restock my sewing shop with headcoverings and there are many colour choices...

And as you can see there are some that wouldn't be becoming or obedient for a godly woman with shamefacedness and sobriety and a meek and quiet spirit without external adornment. But there's good ones there too and I hope to have lots of sewing coming up Lord willing!

Strawberries in the making...

Blessings of His creations growing and doing what they were created to.

The calves are getting bigger already...

Going through a heap of milk powder too...

It often reminds me, when they are sucking away enthusiastically on the bottle, about this scripture...

Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,

As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.

1 Peter 2:1-3

Desiring the sincere milk of the word...and we grow from it. But as it also says we then are to move onto the meat of the word too. Another great illustration from physical life to the spiritual of how things are to be.

But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Hebrews 5:14

I was sharing with a sister how simple this is to make...

I appreciate simple and quick because it doesn't take away too much time from more important things. (Goes along with the chia puddings I shared about earlier.) It has just a few ingredients and does not require any baking.

It just has..

2 cups of almond meal

1/2 cup peanut butter

1/2 cup cacao powder

1/4 cup honey

Mix it all up and press into a suitably sized container and refrigerate. You can probably use whatever sweetener you like too...but I'm not sure. You can make a simple topping (which in my opinion adds much) of 2 Tbsp cacao powder, 1 of coconut oil, and a bit of honey.

I might post that as a separate recipe post some time but for now it's here if any of you could use it. Praise the Lord for providing so many different foods to sustain us. We are thankful.

OK sisters, I better move on now. Hope today you are seeking first our Father's kingdom...and tomorrow if He has that for you.

But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer. And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.

1 Peter 4:7-8

Love to you,

Sister Michaela
