Today's Encouragement (20 July 2023)

Hello sister saints!

Salutations to you on this day in the Lord! Hope this finds you striving on steadfastly wherever you are on this globe. I'm sure you're keeping occupied in godly woman's works of Titus 2 or whatever good works you have and are responsible for in your lives.

Sharing a scripture...

Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.
Jude 1:3-5

God's Word is true and if you read it and understand what it's saying there's no way you can come up with the idea that sin or even unbelief doesn't separate us from God. Sadly people devour many books written by men (and inspired by satan really) without really knowing who the authors are and testing all they say plus not caring and wanting to hear what they want to hear. We saints know there's so few saints and I don't know if any biblical people who wrote books we can read today. So we have His Word and that is enough. And He gives us the Spirit to teach and if there are godly saints we are blessed to know we can study the Word together and learn and grow in maturity etc.

Much to see in His creation of all sorts and things are changing from day to day or with the seasons or the day and night and the cycles He set in motion. Glory to Him for it all!

Here's an unusual insect creature I hadn't seen before...

And frogs and a little skink I found in the garden (under an old weed pile) and collected them...

I got a bit of sewing done today too...

Hopefully more tomorrow. It's such a blessing to be godly women isn't it sisters?!

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
2 Timothy 3:16-17

Well that's all from me for today. I cheer my sisters on in doing your good works unto the Lord and enduring whatever hardness you have to bear. It will all be worth it all and our Saviour is so worthy. Let us all strive to love Him every day.

Today's Encouragement (19 July 2023)

Greetings sisters!

I hope all is well with each of you and that wherever you are on this earth you are standing strong in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, shining your lights!

(Thank you sisters for the scriptures etc!)

He is worthy of all praise and honour and glory! He is worthy of our life given up for Him to do His will and not our own. He has been so good to us to send a Saviour to save us from our sins which were leading us to death (and of course still do if we live in them wilfully).

Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.
Revelation 5:12

Next scripture reading to edify us sisters...

And it's one we sisters definitely should know well. Well it's one specifically for us isn't it speaking of the headship order from creation. And we submit to that order and headcovering is an outward sign of this. So many rebel and say things have changed today and that women and men are equal...but from the beginning of creation it wasn't so! We do know we are all one in Christ but yet we are created different and nothing but resurrected glorified bodies will change that when we are like the angels of God. Let us godly sisters submit to our roles and rejoice to be who God created us to be!

Good dry day for working in the garden again...

A lot of weeds to pull!

Reality of working in the garden...

Skirts dragging in the dirt...but that's just fine as we have washing machines (or at least plenty of water to wash with) and extra clean clothes to change into if needed. We are blessed. Sometimes I think of all the people out there who don't have the luxuries/blessings that we do if I'm concerned about being dirty or something like that.

Was gleaning under-ripe pumpkins from the dead vines amongst the tall weeds too...

Still like finding treasures as they still can be used!

Reminding me of how God provided for the poor by commanding the people in the harvest time to leave some for them.

And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not wholly reap the corners of thy field, neither shalt thou gather the gleanings of thy harvest.

And thou shalt not glean thy vineyard, neither shalt thou gather every grape of thy vineyard; thou shalt leave them for the poor and stranger: I am the Lord your God.
Leviticus 19:9-10

And today we also know we are to be ready to help the truly needy though in our extravagant cultures those are rare. Or people are poor because of sinful habits and bad life choices and decisions so it can be hard to know sometimes. We know we are to be content with food and raiment.

My day is over...

...with pretty colours God created. Always much to see of what He made on this earth even though man has made a lot of bad things and spoiled some of it. God still reigns and He will set it right one day sisters!

Well I guess that's all from me today. Hopefully it was edifying and encouraging somehow. The Lord's Word is good! Hold fast sisters and be of good cheer!

Today's Encouragement (18 July 2023)

Greetings sisters!

Here I am back again for one more day. And trying to share some encouragement for my sisters to keep striving on! That's a great blessing in itself just knowing someone hasn't grown weary, or fallen into unrepentant sin, or gone back and given up. We see that is the tendency of humans to do for sure as it is easiest in the flesh. And God tells us in His Word of apostasy in the last days which are surely upon us. But let us fight against all that is bad around us and against us and be sober and vigilant and strong in the Lord.

Was gleaning a few last tomatoes from the mostly dead tomato plants...

No they don't taste quite as sweet in the middle of winter but they are still great blessings!

Many different creations to see!

I'd share a meal with my sisters...

Thankful for His Word and how blessed we are to have all those reminders of what happens to sinful people. It isn't good. Let us wisely take warning and flee from sin.

Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.
1 Corinthians 10:11-12

Next I'm sharing some truths from the scriptures in the following passages. Shows us we are responsible for ourselves and that we can fall away from righteousness and be lost and that we also can be forgiven much wickedness if we repent like we all have been but we must remain in righteousness and not sin. Just refreshing to read His Word in a world where the opposite is taught as truth but they really are lies, right sisters. Let God be true and every man a liar.

And Moses returned unto the Lord, and said, Oh, this people have sinned a great sin, and have made them gods of gold.
Yet now, if thou wilt forgive their sin--; and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of thy book which thou hast written.
And the Lord said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book.
Exodus 32:31-33

The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.
But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.
All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him: in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live.
Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord God: and not that he should return from his ways, and live?
But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live? All his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned: in his trespass that he hath trespassed, and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them shall he die.
Ezekiel 18:20-24

So glad to have His Word to tell us these truths. Let's keep pressing on in righteousness sisters! Hold fast!

Today's Encouragement (17 July 2023)

Hello sisters!

I'm back again and hope you're all striving on one more day. I know some sisters who are and thank you for sharing these sisters and all the daily edifying that you do!

Let's follow after righteousness and mercy sisters!

Focusing on and magnifying Him helps any trials here fade away doesn't it! I know we have things of this world to deal with, physical things, but we can do them in a way that pleases Him but yet sometimes we don't want to do them as they take away some focus from Him. But it's just our reasonable service while on this earth and one day we shall be with Him in a heavenly place!

Right that's great too...we just go about our peaceful lives not being lazy or causing trouble etc. So much about living peaceably in this world towards those around us in His Word too. We won't argue and fight and have envy and strive and cause trouble. Not to say us standing on the truth won't cause some disturbances at times or doesn't mean we compromise ever just to have peace but we shouldn't have the fleshly aspect of when people do not dwell at peace one with another or something I guess and they try to take vengeance but we know that is the Lord's not ours. And people hold grudges one against another when all why we should separate from people is because of our obedience to the Lord and they may separate from us too.

If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
Romans 12:18

Next scripture reading to edify you...

A lot of good things in there (as usual though!). We see brother Paul's good example of working to support himself in order to not be a burden to anyone even though he had the full right to be supported by the saints for doing his gospel ministry. We know people seeking after money can make for some extremely bad motivations for what they do. So we can be very suspicious of those asking for money for their 'works of the Lord' and we test all things.

More weeding work in the garden for me...

I was thinking about how mosquito season is coming soon here when it makes working in the garden a flesh killing challenging experience. So I want to get a lot of work done before then. And it's the wet season and the ground is so soft for pulling weeds from and the dry time is coming. And it's much easier to work while it's cool and not hot so it's a great blessing to work now.

We know it can be wise to prepare ahead in physical things. But in fact our very life in the Lord is preparing ahead for eternity. Well we live to glorify the Lord no matter what's ahead for us but it's very wise to prepare to meet our God. Sadly most are not doing this but living for now and thinking they can find out later and fix it then somehow. But it won't be, so may we be truly wise even though we are fools in the world's eyes.

Pretty last light of the evening...

Was a beautiful day, cold but the sunshine brings some warmth to it all. What a blessing!

I was reading this account and pondering it and there's some interesting points to ponder on that but I appreciate this what Jesus said but yet I understand why the man would have wanted to be with Jesus who had delivered him from so much.

Now the man out of whom the devils were departed besought him that he might be with him: but Jesus sent him away, saying, Return to thine own house, and shew how great things God hath done unto thee. And he went his way, and published throughout the whole city how great things Jesus had done unto him.
Luke 8:38-39

We too have a similar job to do in being scattered all over the earth being His witnesses!

Today's Encouragement (16 July 2023)

Greetings godly sister saints!

I'm back on the day God gave me and am blessed with the opportunity to encourage my sisters in the Lord! Our spiritual family is awesome and such a blessing and we know they are the ones who do the Father's will. And we shall be all together in His presence one day and set free from corruption in this world!

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

He's coming to get us! Let's be ready and watching.

Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
Luke 21:36

Delicate little nest one of God's creatures made...

So perfect. I see lots of spider webs got used in the making. A great Creator programmed that ability into them!

So blessed we are to have His written Word to live by and know Him!

Amen! Precious truths from His Word.

I was reading and came across this scripture and it does put godly fear into you...

And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
Revelation 20:11-15

That's so final isn't it sisters. No time to change and the great gulf is fixed for ever. How foolish people are not preparing for that time. We want to don't we sisters and growing more and more fervent and strong and sincere and stedfast and perfect in Him. We don't want to slip back little by little or grow lukewarm and be deceived and compromise. Hold fast sisters with great love for the Lord to please Him! And I will strive to here as well and encourage my sisters on and those who need to to repent before it's too late as today is the day of salvation! Tomorrow may be too late.

Today's Encouragement (15 July 2023)

Greetings sisters!

I'm back again and I hope you are doing well in the Lord too.

That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.
1 Peter 4:2

I was reading that and was thinking about where it says the 'rest of his time'. The past is gone and we can't change it one bit. We all had ignorance and sin. But now after we have received the knowledge of the truth and repented from our pasts, we sure do not want to live after our fleshly lusts but in the will of God. There's so much hope in God. His goodness surely leads us to repentance. Praise Him!

I'm sharing some scriptures about being strong and stedfast in our faith etc.

That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
Ephesians 4:14-15

Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.
2 Thessalonians 2:15

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
1 Corinthians 15:58

Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
2 Timothy 1:13

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

Today's Encouragement (14 July 2023)

Greetings sisters!

Here's another day the Lord gave us and I know all my sisters are choosing Him in this day!

And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
Joshua 24:15

Amen sisters...we will choose to serve the Lord! That means we obey all He commands of us doesn't it and we want to and we know His ways are good when followed! He is such a good God and we know that fact has led us to repentance and continues to if we fail. He is such a God of hope and forgiveness for His children.

I hope all my sisters are doing well and striving on in the Lord stedfast on this day!

My day was a busy one and a bit challenging with animal issues.

The grass is greener on the other side of the fence lol anyway these things happen.

Always garden weeding to do in winter...

It doesn't take long to get big piles.

Does remind me of this though...

Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
Matthew 13:30

The tares are gathered together to be burned. It doesn't do us any good to avoid mentioning such things like many want to avoid talking of eternal destruction but it's true. We want to strive to avoid that place ourselves and warn others of it's reality too. Christ is our refuge from that!

I'm sure my sisters are pressing through all your works day by day and getting blessed with rest in the night.

Man goeth forth unto his work and to his labour until the evening. O Lord, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.
Psalm 104:23-24

The sleep of a labouring man is sweet, whether he eat little or much: but the abundance of the rich will not suffer him to sleep.
Ecclesiastes 5:12

Physical rest is such a blessing but more importantly spiritual rest in Christ amen sisters!

Today's Encouragement (13 July 2023)

Hello holy sisters!

I'm coming to you again in the name of the Lord Jesus our glorious Saviour! I hope you're all doing well and strong in the faith!

Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
Ephesians 5:20

I took some flower pictures to share, on my morning walk around the property. And I share some scriptures on hope and life in between too! Glory to God for His Word and creations He made!

In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;
Titus 1:2

Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;
Hebrews 6:19

For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
Romans 15:4

For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.
John 6:33

That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
Titus 3:7

Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.
1 Peter 1:21

But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.
Hebrews 3:6

Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
Romans 15:13

Isn't there such hope and life in God?! Amen there is and He is our only hope and our only life! He gave us life, He says when it's over, and then for those of us who have been born of Him we can have eternal life with Him! Even though in this world there is much hopelessness and despair and darkness and depression for those who know not God...in Him there is life everlasting and peace and joy and love and grace and mercy and forgiveness and all good things! Let's strive to remain in Him sisters and not depart in unbelief or sin or else we will be most hopeless for ever.

Today's Encouragement (12 July 2023)

Greetings sisters!

How are you on this brand new day the Lord gave us?!

I hope you also, as well as me here, are desiring to love Him more and more every day and growing in our understanding and obedience to Him every second.

He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
1 John 2:4-5

Thank you sisters for sharing these...

Amen let's not get swept away in things that don't really matter. Of course it's good to be diligent workers and do our Titus 2 keeper at home type works well but not get distracted by them or obsessed with them to the point of taking us away from reading/studying His Word, prayer, edifying saints, taking the gospel to the lost etc. It's a balance isn't it sisters and we examine ourselves to make sure we aren't too focused down here and getting everything just right. Sort of goes along with this scripture too...

Many women have treasures in their homes and collect all these things and antiques or wanting everything to be 'just right' and perfect and can get mad or so sad when something is damaged, destroyed, stolen, or lost etc. But we want to remember that everything we have is the Lord's and not to hold too closely to anything and be ready to let them all go if God allows them to be. We know we are to be content with food and raiment but we sure have so much beyond that don't we and all these conveniences to help us in our duties. A simple life in Christ is awesome and I know sisters who know that and rejoice in it too, knowing our home is not down here but above!

And my day is almost done. One more closer to eternity. Let's all redeem the time as best we can and guard our lives and keep them free from distractions as best we can and anything that will take us away from the Lord. Let's keep abhoring that which is evil and cleaving to the good!
