Today's Edification (8 September 2024)

Hello sisters!

Here is another day the Lord granted to us! All we have is from Him.

Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

Psalm 100:3-5

It is a great blessing to know and serve this great God who made us! I know it's what everyone should be doing but we know most do not want to, at least not fully. Treasure what we have sisters!

As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:
1 Peter 2:2

Amen let us feed on His Word and it is that which we will grow on! The world offers a lot of junk which it feeds it's people on. But His Word is so pure and that which truly allows people who feed on it to grow.

And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

2 Timothy 3:15-17

For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
Romans 15:4

Going to share some more scriptures that talk about scripture...

And have ye not read this scripture; The stone which the builders rejected is become the head of the corner:

And Jesus answering said unto them, Do ye not therefore err, because ye know not the scriptures, neither the power of God?

Mark 12:10, 24

And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.

And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?

Luke 24:27,32

Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
John 5:39

For these things were done, that the scripture should be fulfilled, A bone of him shall not be broken. And again another scripture saith, They shall look on him whom they pierced.
John 19:36-37

And the scripture was fulfilled, which saith, And he was numbered with the transgressors.
Mark 15:28

For as yet they knew not the scripture, that he must rise again from the dead.
John 20:9

And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.
Luke 4:21

And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures

Opening and alleging, that Christ must needs have suffered, and risen again from the dead; and that this Jesus, whom I preach unto you, is Christ.

These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

Acts 17:2-3, 11

A lot in there about scripture being fulfilled and also us knowing the scriptures...that is important! What is written is very important! Makes me think it's rather foolish to not want to know the Word more and more. I'm sure I should know it more than I do compared to how important it actually is. Let us not take it lightly. As Jesus said in one of those scriptures above, the people erred because they didn't know the scriptures. Reminds me of this one too...

Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
Psalm 119:11

I was thinking of these few scriptures and how we need to be really careful with them.

Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.

Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.

Hebrews 13:7, 17

In these last days especially, we definitely need to be even more careful. And we simply may not be able to practice those scriptures. Otherwise if we think we need to when it actually isn't the same situation as the Word describes we can be led down wrong paths. Now we sure can obey and submit to our Master and He is our Ruler and we can imitate Paul as he was imitating Christ and had been given God's commands to tell us. So let's just beware, sisters.

And this one is similarly abused...

Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
Hebrews 10:25

People tell you to go to corrupt churches but we will obey God's Word as we live by it all not just some. And we do our best in these perilous last times...the Lord helping us.

Well I think that's all for now. I'm just going along here in helping and Titus 2 duties etc. And of course communicating with my sisters daily that I do know, as well as sharing here. We are blessed in so many ways so let us go forth in our days in thankfulness and joy and do what we do heartily as unto the Lord! Hold fast my sisters and be stedfast and unmoveable in the Lord's work...whatever He has given!

Love in Christ,

Michaela

Today's Edification (7 September 2024)

Greetings to my sisters who love and obey the Lord!

We know right through scripture we created beings have been called to obey our Creator! So I share some scriptures from His written Word on this to edify us in the truth.

And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Genesis 2:16-17

Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.
Genesis 26:5

Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:
Exodus 19:5

Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse;

A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you this day:

And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the LORD your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known.

Deuteronomy 11:26-28

But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.
Jeremiah 7:23

Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.

Acts 5:29

Who will render to every man according to his deeds:

To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:

But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,

Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;

But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:

For there is no respect of persons with God.

Romans 2:6-11

Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
Philippians 2:12

And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed.
2 Thessalonians 3:14

Yes it's indeed so obvious how we are to obey our Creator! And this has been right from the very first humans to now and into the future. Obedience has never been optional or non essential! And He is our Lord and Master and King, and Saviour and God! Glory to His name and may we submit to Him willingly.

I hope you're pressing on in the truth wherever you are sisters! We must keep seeking the truth and want to keep growing in it and abounding more and more in His good fruits for His glory!

I'm sharing some scriptures on abounding too!

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
1 Corinthians 15:58

Therefore, as ye abound in every thing, in faith, and utterance, and knowledge, and in all diligence, and in your love to us, see that ye abound in this grace also.
2 Corinthians 8:7

And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment;
Philippians 1:9

Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.
Colossians 2:7

And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;

And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;

And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.

For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

2 Peter 1:5-8

Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
John 15:8

Let us continue in the Vine sisters and allow Him to prune us as well so we are even more fruitful! Those He loves He chastises and we know He loves His saints and we must abide is His love by obeying Him! I'm thankful for His Word and how He wants things to be.

I was pondering on some of the things saints should do to each other. There's many things, with the greatest and the bond of perfectness being love, but there's some others that seem to come up a lot like these...

But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort.
1 Corinthians 14:3

As ye know how we exhorted and comforted and charged every one of you, as a father doth his children,
1 Thessalonians 2:11

But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
Hebrews 3:13

And I myself also am persuaded of you, my brethren, that ye also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another.
Romans 15:14

Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.
1 Thessalonians 5:14

Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.
Romans 14:19

Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.
1 Thessalonians 5:11

There's a lot about edifying, comforting, exhorting, admonishing etc. Good to ponder and study these and we know God is our helper but He wants us to help one another too, humbly giving and receiving all these things if we are blessed with other holy believers in our lives which sure could be a rare thing in this world. But God has His people where He wants them scattered all over the world as we worship in spirit and truth today and not attached to any place (like Jerusalem was in times gone by).

Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.

Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.

But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

John 4:21-24

Keep pressing on my sisters! Hold fast to the truth and let us keep walking in the light of Christ our Lord!

Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.

See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,

Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

Ephesians 5:14-17

Much love to you sisters,

Christ's servant,

Michaela

Today's Edification (6 September 2024)

Greetings sisters!

Another day to come here and feed you with the Word and send encouragement and love!

It's a good day to serve the Lord and remember all His mercies and lovingkindness to His people. Let us remember all He has forgiven us...the unpayable debt we had. And that also means we have zero grounds to not forgive those who wrong us as that is nothing compared to how we have wronged God.

I've had a quieter morning and a busier afternoon and evening. And another day is over when I am back here to finish up my post. Just sharing a few good scriptures to edify.

Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.

Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.

Rejoice in the LORD, ye righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.

Psalm 97:10-12

Shew us thy mercy, O LORD, and grant us thy salvation. I will hear what God the LORD will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly.
Psalm 85:7-8

O love the LORD, all ye his saints: for the LORD preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer. Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD.
Psalm 31:23-24

There's so many treasures in His Word to find! We can forget them as there's so many so it's good to keep bringing them up. Some mean more to us at certain times and others at different ones. We may find things that mean much if we are praising the Lord and rejoicing and things are going well and also ones that mean a lot when we are going through trials and sorrows...including ones that tell us to rejoice in trials! God is good to give us the Word to live by.

Sharing the scriptures with the word paradise which is only three but always good to ponder different words and the aspects of them.

And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.
Luke 23:43

How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.
2 Corinthians 12:4

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
Revelation 2:7

That is awesome to ponder and also be preparing for! God is good to His saints and wants us to be with Him, glorifying Him, for all eternity! May we strive to walk pleasing to Him each day! Press onwards and upwards sisters!

Love in Christ,

Michaela

Today's Edification (5 September 2024)

Greetings sister saints!

Here I am again, dropping in to edify you with the Word. I hope you're pressing on wherever you are and whatever is going on!

Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.
Romans 14:19

Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

Ephesians 4:29-30

His Word is always edifying in itself! It builds up those seeking the Lord and the truth and tears down any false ways or sins. We cultivate the good in our lives and we also can in other saints we know. Or even anybody. Not that doing good will save anyone if they don't have a changed heart and true faith in Christ, having lost their lives for Him, but good is always to be encouraged. And the bad we fight against in our own lives and we stand for the Lord's ways and don't support it in those around us either though we can only share the truth of the gospel with them that they need to repent we shouldn't 'moralize' people so to speak as they need the changed heart first! Can't just deal with the outsides when the insides aren't renewed by the Lord's work and a willing surrendered heart.

I'm having some extra busy days helping here as there's still sick children around and I'm still dealing with some ends of the cold myself but that's good to keep going in whatever is needed at the time and there's times and seasons where it's super busy, just busy, or times of some quiet (maybe:). This whole life we live is short and like a vapor it will soon be gone. And eternity will be upon us. Let us be prepared for this sisters. And pressing through all things and obeying our Lord no matter what!

Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
2 Timothy 2:3

It's good to remember that obeying Him is just our reasonable service and duty and we are called to serve so let us trust in the Lord and wait upon Him to give us all we need to do this all!

Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.
Psalm 55:22

Keep pressing on my sisters! Grow not weary in well doing!

Love in Christ,

Michaela

Today's Edification (4 September 2024)

Greetings sister saints!

God granted us another day of life on this earth! The days and the nights keep rolling by one after the other as eternity draws nearer for us all. Many have already passed into eternity with no chance to redo anything or change one's mind. Some are with the Lord and most, as Jesus said the road is broad, are perishing, cast away from Him.

Speaking of night, I peeked out my window around 3am when I couldn't sleep and saw beautiful stars so share them with you too here! So peaceful looking...so still and calm. Our God reigns!

Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion? Canst thou bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? or canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons?
Job 38:31-32

That little blue star cluster on the left in my picture is Pleiades and I think the bright object in the middle is the planet Jupiter and you can see the constellation Orion on the top right too. Interesting that even way back then in the book of Job they're mentioned. And that is the Lord speaking to Job and asking him what he can do.
Seek him that maketh the seven stars and Orion, and turneth the shadow of death into the morning, and maketh the day dark with night: that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name:
Amos 5:8
And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be. And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.
Genesis 15:5-6

When I was growing up, in homeschool we used to try to find and learn the constellations and just watch the night sky for meteorites and things. It's always amazing on a clear night when the moon isn't out! Glory to God the incredibly mighty Creator!
When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
Psalm 8:3-4

Indeed we are nothing compared to His vastly huge creation of the whole universe which He Himself is greater than! Let us be in our place as lowly and humble before Him.

Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest? For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.
Isaiah 66:1-2

That's amazing isn't it!

This scripture is good too as we know everything we are and have and can do is from the Lord! So it's foolish to think we are anything at all!

And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollos for your sakes; that ye might learn in us not to think of men above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one against another.

For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it?

1 Corinthians 4:6-7

But he that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord. For not he that commendeth himself is approved, but whom the Lord commendeth.
2 Corinthians 10:17-18

Let us boast in the Lord!

But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.
Galatians 6:14

What a great God we serve! He is the one and only God! The living God and the just and righteous holy Judge who all will give account of their deeds to one day. Let us sisters be ready to stand in Christ on that great day when the books are opened.

And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

Revelation 20:11-12

I'm glad God told us this so we can be preparing to meet our God. It would have to be the most wonderful thing in the whole universe to be under God's approval and in His love rather than under His displeasure and wrath. I want God to be pleased with me and you too sisters not because we are anything or anyone but we want to have willing hearts single for Him and humbly doing our best while in these mortal bodies.

And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
1 John 3:22

And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
Genesis 3:4

I was pondering on the lie satan told Eve that they wouldn't surely die if she ate the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. If that's not the biggest lie when we look at the horrendous suffering that leads to death on this earth. Some may die instantly and some endure horrible deaths but it's all part of what went on back then in the beginning isn't it...the consequences and who was right and who was wrong. God had told both Adam and Eve this would happen.

And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
Genesis 2:16-17

Yes God was right. He spoke the truth, "You will surely die". And so it is.

This sums it up about our adversary...

Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
John 8:44

I'm glad God told us what happened and why the world is like this. But praise God for a Saviour!

For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
Romans 5:19

Pondering on what we learn from past examples which are written for us.

And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works, which have been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day.

But I say unto you, That it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for thee.

Matthew 11:23-24

It's hard to believe that people don't see that sin leads to death...still today. God's wrath is over them, being stored up. But He is longsuffering, not willing that any should perish but that they may repent. What more can He do for people? Nothing. His ways are perfect but man is so wicked and love darkness. These things that happened in the past are examples for us today. If only more would be wise and heed. I don't want any of my sisters deceived or any woman who reads here either. We know there's lies around that sin doesn't matter or doesn't lead to death today but His Word says otherwise. And God will not be mocked.

Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
Jude 1:7
And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;
2 Peter 2:6

But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.

Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.

Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

1 Corinthians 10:5-6,11-12

Yes let us take heed lest we fall. None of us have attained have we sisters nor finished our race. We must keep up our guard and have our armour on and keep fighting not giving up to compromise. I'm here to encourage you on to not grow weary in well doing! Keep searching the scriptures to see what God commands of us sisters! Hold fast!

Much love to my sisters in Christ,

Michaela

Today's Edification (3 September 2024)

Greetings in godly love to my sisters in the Lord around the world! Let us pass the time of our sojourning here in fear.

And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:

Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;

But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

1 Peter 1:17-19

We indeed have a precious Saviour, not to be taken lightly or trampled.

I hope you are doing well and striving on in the Lord where He has you!

I'm keeping busy here. It was such a beautiful day God made today after it's been super windy and cold for days! I'm sharing a few pictures from it.

I had to dash to the post office again but had to stop and take a video of the pretty canola field as it's beautiful...

It's still not in full bloom but still good!

Nice quiet country road into town...

Funny, I got a headcovering order and the address was to a naval ship so that's different! The gospel goes with and it's always good for women to wear biblical clothing even if they aren't believers and saints. Doesn't mean they're good with God of course if they don't have a heart change through the gospel and obey in all areas but God clothed mankind in the garden and that was for all humans. All women are under the authority of man and Christ (even if they aren't practicing it and submitting) and I don't believe they are commands just for saints to headcover. So I never know where people are with the truth and who they are that buy from my store. Maybe there's some sisters out there who buy and maybe not or very rarely but the gospel goes out and the hope is for all to come into His family!

Sharing some Titus 2 blessings and works from my day...

Time to dish up the slow cooker stew as the sun goes down.

Dry laundry after God's sunshine and fresh air dried them. Many blessings there too!

And labours for my hands to keep busy in. Maybe it encourages you sisters who are doing the same! Just relatable or something. All sorts of good works the Lord has for us to do...many the same and some different!

Let us keep labouring in all the works the Lord has in our lives. Obviously we prove all things and do that which is good and abhor that which is evil. Keep pressing on and holding fast in all the right things!

Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
Hebrews 10:23

Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
2 Timothy 1:13

Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
1 Thessalonians 5:21

But that which ye have already hold fast till I come.
Revelation 2:25

But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.
Hebrews 3:6

Hold fast to the Lord and the truth my sisters...to the very end!

Grace to you in Christ,

Michaela

Today's Edification (2 September 2024)

Salutations to my godly sisters!

Here is another day to walk in the truth! Let us continue to diligently seek after the truth and His ways of light to walk in!

There's a lot of good things we are to walk in!

I rejoiced greatly that I found of thy children walking in truth, as we have received a commandment from the Father.

And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.

2 John 1:4,6

And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.

For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:

See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,

Ephesians 5:2, 8, 15

As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:
Colossians 2:6

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
Ephesians 2:10

This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
Galatians 5:16

Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
Romans 6:4

Let us walk...

in truth
in His commandments
in love
as children of light
circumspectly
in Christ
in good works
in newness of life
in the Spirit

I'm thankful for His ways to walk in! Indeed He is the way! And it's the faith once delivered, the 'old paths', not all the modern deceptions of man that have come along after the new covenant was established. Let us hold fast to the truth in Christ!

I've had a busy day in Titus 2 works and helping with a sick baby who has a fever and eye infection from a cold. Poor little ones don't understand and just need holding a lot and comforting in their time of sorrow. So I'm sharing here what I can to edify my sisters! There's always something from His Word!

Here's a pretty bird out my room window this morning...

His creations just are doing what He created them to do all around the world!

It has been standing out to me how these things the scriptures mention a lot, are not of the Spirit or of God and which are common among mankind and yes even among those who claim His name. There's no doubt after reading these where they come from and that they're not good.

For I fear, lest, when I come, I shall not find you such as I would, and that I shall be found unto you such as ye would not: lest there be debates, envyings, wraths, strifes, backbitings, whisperings, swellings, tumults:
2 Corinthians 12:20

But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.

This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.

For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.

James 3:14-16

Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,
1 Peter 2:1
For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?
1 Corinthians 3:3

We know we are to go on unto perfection. We are to lay aside the works of the flesh. All those things mentioned are of the flesh and we have the ways of the Spirit to walk in instead, the fruits from above which are awesome! There's such a contrast between that of the flesh and of the Spirit! God's ways are so much higher!

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.
James 3:17-18

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
Galatians 5:22-25

(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.
Ephesians 5:9-10

Let us press on in the Lord's ways, crucifying the flesh, and bearing much good fruit for His glory! And He prunes us so we can bear even more fruit! He is good. Serve Him!

Much love in Christ,

Michaela

Today's Edification (1 September 2024)

Greetings sisters!

Here I am back again. Hopefully to edify and encourage you in the Lord!

Sometimes it's a little challenging focusing on writing in a busy household of children with so much going on but I can only do my best! And you keep doing your best wherever you are sisters! It's all our reasonable service and you try and figure out what works best. And be thankful and content.

I'm sharing some scriptures on fellowship (and the same Greek word communion) and pondering on it, fellowship with the Lord and also with His people and how there isn't any to be had with the world especially in a spiritual sense except just being fellow humans I guess.

God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
1 Corinthians 1:9

I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy, For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;
Philippians 1:3-5

And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
Acts 2:42

That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.

If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

1 John 1:3,6-7

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.
2 Corinthians 13:14

Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
2 Corinthians 6:14

We know we are strangers and pilgrims but there can be fellowship with the Lord and His people which is a great blessing and refreshing in a world that we are foreign to.

Let us abide in Christ the Vine and in His love. There are conditions to this and things we need to do!

If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
John 15:10

Getting God's love is a precious gift and not something to be taken lightly as we remember His severity and hatred of all evil and evil doers and His wrath abides over them. Let us not be deceived about this.

For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
Hebrews 12:6
As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
Revelation 3:19

Keep pressing on my sisters and not growing weary in well doing! Let us keep following Him!

I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.
John 10:14

Love in Christ,

Michaela
