Today's Edification (6 September 2024)

Greetings sisters!

Another day to come here and feed you with the Word and send encouragement and love!

It's a good day to serve the Lord and remember all His mercies and lovingkindness to His people. Let us remember all He has forgiven us...the unpayable debt we had. And that also means we have zero grounds to not forgive those who wrong us as that is nothing compared to how we have wronged God.

I've had a quieter morning and a busier afternoon and evening. And another day is over when I am back here to finish up my post. Just sharing a few good scriptures to edify.

Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.

Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.

Rejoice in the LORD, ye righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.

Psalm 97:10-12

Shew us thy mercy, O LORD, and grant us thy salvation. I will hear what God the LORD will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly.
Psalm 85:7-8

O love the LORD, all ye his saints: for the LORD preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer. Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD.
Psalm 31:23-24

There's so many treasures in His Word to find! We can forget them as there's so many so it's good to keep bringing them up. Some mean more to us at certain times and others at different ones. We may find things that mean much if we are praising the Lord and rejoicing and things are going well and also ones that mean a lot when we are going through trials and sorrows...including ones that tell us to rejoice in trials! God is good to give us the Word to live by.

Sharing the scriptures with the word paradise which is only three but always good to ponder different words and the aspects of them.

And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.
Luke 23:43

How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.
2 Corinthians 12:4

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
Revelation 2:7

That is awesome to ponder and also be preparing for! God is good to His saints and wants us to be with Him, glorifying Him, for all eternity! May we strive to walk pleasing to Him each day! Press onwards and upwards sisters!

Love in Christ,

Sister Chayil
