Today's Encouragement (10 July 2023)

Greetings sisters!

I am back again to share encouragement one more day because the Lord gave it to me! I hope you're striving on for the kingdom with me another day. Our days are limited and we don't know how many He will give us so let's redeem the time for the Lord and all good works for He owns us and made us and is our Master and we His servants!

Today I'm sharing verses from Revelation about overcoming, along with pretty flower creations sisters shared. Hope they encourage you sisters! Glory to God for all He has done!

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

Revelation 2:7

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.
Revelation 2:11

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.

Revelation 2:17

And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:

Revelation 2:26

He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

Revelation 3:5

Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.

Revelation 3:12

To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

Revelation 3:21

He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

Revelation 21:7

Aren't those all awesome and precious promises sisters?!

And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Revelation 12:10-11

We can overcome all things in Christ! So let's keep doing that no matter if it's a 'small' thing like everyday trials, weakness, or sickness etc or to the weightier matters of overcoming our flesh and sin and being ready to die for Him. May we not let anything overcome us! We can be overcomers and victorious in Him!

Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
Romans 8:37

I hope those blessed and encouraged you today sisters! Keep pressing on one day at a time as that's all we have. Well we really only have each breath we take or each second but Jesus did say not to worry about tomorrow. Let's trust in Him for that and our futures here or in eternity. Love the truth sisters!

Love to you all,

Today's Encouragement (9 July 2023)

Greetings sisters!

I hope your days are going along well as you 'be' godly holy women of the Lord's! We may live quiet lives us sisters even though we may be busy of course but we do have different roles to men. We know that to fear God is the start of wisdom and if someone does not fear God they are foolish.

So let's fear the Lord first sisters and because we do, we obey Him and the roles He has give to us, some of which we read about in Titus 2. And we know serving others is a very good thing to do and to not live selfish lives or living in our own pleasures.
But she that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth.
1 Timothy 5:6

We don't want to be that although we were there once we are no more!

For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.

 Titus 3:3

God has set us free from all those idle fleshly lusts and we are alive from the dead! We now fill our time with useful helpful things and all good things.

And we also know that we as women can and should carry the good news of Jesus Christ, the Saviour of the world, to the lost and anyone who wants to hear!

I think of these women who did such work...

And she coming in that instant gave thanks likewise unto the Lord, and spake of him to all them that looked for redemption in Jerusalem.

Luke 2:38

And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.

And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word.

Matthew 28:7-8

What a mighty Saviour we do have who came to save us from our sins!

What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

 Romans 6:1,2,22

And He is risen indeed and so we too can be partakers of His resurrection and not partakers of the second death.

I share this scripture I came across too...

The Lord God hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned.

The Lord God hath opened mine ear, and I was not rebellious, neither turned away back.

I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting.

For the Lord God will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.

Isaiah 50:4-7

I appreciate it all but I like that bit about speaking a word in season to him that is weary. I want to encourage my sisters if they're growing weary! And as it says too about setting our faces like flint which is not getting distracted is it sisters from our task at hand of seeking first His kingdom and righteousness!

Hold fast to the Word sisters...all of it as many try to twist or pick some verses out to arrive at deceptive deadly doctrines. Let's remember the "it is also writtens" and that...

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

2 Timothy 3:16-17

Today's Encouragement (8 July 2023)

Greetings godly sisters!

I hope your day is a good one in the Lord! (I share a beautiful flower picture another sister sent.) Our God is such an one of hope, that every day if we are striving on in Him really is good no matter what is going on. We know we are going to have many challenges and trials to get through first before we receive our reward...only if we overcome!

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Romans 8:28

I had travel back home again...

It was a very windy but safe drive. We trust that God is greater than all things although we shouldn't do unwise things and tempt Him in doing them. We don't need to fear whatever comes which would be lack of faith like the disciples in the boat Jesus rebuked.

I share this scripture I was reading this morning...

I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.

They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.

John 17:14-18

We are here, in this world but not if it. The Lord can keep us from evil while we walk through this world. His truth sanctifies us!

Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

James 1:27

We know we are to keep ourselves pure. There is to be a big difference between us and the world. Sadly there is little difference between those claiming to be Christian than the world today which by the fruit of them they are the world. We hope they repent and we keep doing what we know is right and can try to warn them.

That's all from me today. I hope to encourage my sisters in it all somehow but His Word is always good and does that! Let's keep holding fast to the Lord and not lose our first love for Him sisters. Christ is coming back, so let's be prepared!

Today's Encouragement (7 July 2023)

Hello sister soldiers!

Let us glorify God in our daily lives! We may want to escape eternal destruction and go to heaven when we die but it's also important that we simply live to do what we were created to do...obey our Creator and in doing so this brings God glory!

Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:

That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

2 Thessalonians 1:11-12

If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

1 Peter 4:11

May He be glorified!

(Thank you sister for sending that pretty flower with raindrops picture above! His creation gives Him glory and the saints loving one another does too!)

Just sharing some Titus 2 now.

Satisfying washing away all the dirt...

Good blessings from the ground (even if they are from the store). Amazing all the different types of things God made that we can use as food!

Self explanatory picture...
Just a glimpse into my day of work.

Thought this looked nice or something...
More blessings there.

Little one and I picking a few things from the garden...

Yummy chicken bake in the making...

I'd serve the saints if I could.

Sharing some encouraging scriptures here...

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-18

After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;

And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.

Revelation 7:9-10

One day we shall all be gathered home with the Lord and all His saints! While we may be scattered and alone on this earth for the most part, it won't be forever! For now we are where the Lord has planted us and are strangers and pilgrims and like sheep among wolves but it's just for a short time. We are also soldiers in the battle. We know our Saviour and His people are the winning side in the end...no question about that. We each have to endure though but He gives us what we need and we can make it! Let's keep striving on sisters!

Today's Encouragement (6 July 2023)

Greetings sisters!

God gave us a brand new day to live for Him! I hope all my sisters are striving on strong and not growing weak or weary in anything. We know we shall reap a great reward if we faint not!

Thank you sisters for these pictures.

That which is edifying...we love that and not what is vain, empty, and foolish. Let's strive to excel in doing so sisters in the ways we can.

There's a lot of words in there that describe our duty to God.

I share some scriptures on humility...

And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.

Matthew 23:12

Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:

1 Peter 5:6

Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 18:4

We know pride is an abomination to God so let's flee from all appearance of it, right sisters. All we have is His anyway and He made us and gifted us with all we have and we are the temple of the Spirit and have been bought with a great price. Our great God has done so much for us, how can we not humbly serve Him?!

I've had a busy day of helping so I must go now as I have more to do yet, and then some much looked forward to rest. We can rest spiritually in Christ though, all the time can't we. That's a blessing! Hold fast sisters!

Today's Encouragement (5 July 2023)

Hello godly sister saints!

I hope your faith is standing in our unchanging God and His Word on this day! We don't want to get swept away in looking for 'new' things like the world is! They're looking for 'relevant' things and 'experiences' and such and so few want to fully trust and live by the Word of God.

The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.

Isaiah 40:8

Reminds me of this and that there really is no new thing under the sun and man's heart is wicked...

Thus saith the Lord, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.

Also I set watchmen over you, saying, Hearken to the sound of the trumpet. But they said, We will not hearken.

Jeremiah 6:16-17

So stubborn and rebellious and prideful the natural heart of man is. But God gives His children new hearts and minds!

Beautiful sunny winter's day here...

Glory to God for all the good things He has made by His power!

And we are blessed to have eyes to see and everything else in the body that work together to experience all we do.

If we feel alone in our faith that really is a good thing even if our flesh doesn't like it. We know Jesus said there will be few on the narrow road. There may be many seeking to enter but they cannot. We know they cannot give up what they must in order to enter. We must be ready to lose our life and we must take up our cross daily. There cannot be one thing we hold onto and won't surrender to follow and obey Him.

We do not want to compromise for fellowship or unity or fleshly love. One reason is we see that bad company can corrupt us. We do not want that to happen as eternal life is a precious thing we want to hold fast to the hope of it as we know we can lose it. Nothing is worth gaining in this life if we lose that. So let's be lonely, sisters! And rejoice to be so because we have Him and the precious hope to come IF we endure and overcome this life. Most everyone is getting their reward/easy life today but we would rather endure some brief hardship now than an eternity of suffering in hell. How joyous we should be and not complaining when we see others having fellowship and family and friends and such. We have so much more in the Lord and an eternal family in heaven!

And we may be extra blessed with knowing a very few saints on this narrow road and even though most will be scattered around the world we do have internet and ways of communication to try to bridge the distance and can encourage one another. That is a rare gift in this dark world when there are so few! Praise God to know some of the remnant if we do! And nothing is too big or impossible for God to do in our lives to make some of His saints find each other like a 'needle in a haystack' as they say.

Here's some scriptures I thought of sort of related to this...

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

Psalm 1:1

Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.

1 Corinthians 15:33

Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Matthew 7:14

It is better to dwell in the wilderness, than with a contentious and an angry woman.

Proverbs 21:19

And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

Ephesians 5:11

Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men. Avoid it, pass not by it, turn from it, and pass away.

Proverbs 4:14-15

And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed.

2 Thessalonians 3:14

Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.

John 15:14

Hope those encouraged you too! So many on that subject I know and a lot of other subjects of course too and we're blessed to have His Word to guide us. So many treasures to dig into and give us strength to live this faith life for we walk by faith not sight! One day we shall see Him as He is and we will be like Him! Praise God!

Well I must go but I hope you keep being strong soldiers of the Lord not growing weary or lukewarm in this race we must endure in to the end to be saved. Hold fast sisters!

But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

Today's Encouragement (4 July 2023)

Greetings sisters!

Here I am back one more day. I hope all is well in your faith and I'm sure there's trials of various ones to work through. We're never going to get away from those so let's remember to expect them. And to...

My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

James 1:2-3

Not exactly what the flesh wants to do but in the Spirit we can and because we know there is hope if we press through and know the Lord is so good to us already!

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Ephesians 2:10

And we are His and He has created us for good works and we know these bring Him glory!

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Matthew 5:16

A very fruitful lemon tree...

What great blessings they are! 😋

Winter flowers and rain drops...

There is beautiful in whatever season it is and it's a blessing too that it changes over and over with the cycles of the year. God is a great Creator!

Peaceful farm window views...

God's good creation to see. There's so much that isn't good in this world and we will have to endure it until we are in the place where wickedness will not be allowed to enter.

And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.

Revelation 21:27

Hold fast wherever you are sisters! The Lord has called us to be His shining lights and we stand on truth and don't let anything or anyone push us off of it!

Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

Today's Encouragement (3 July 2023)

Greetings sisters!

I hope you're well rooted in the rock of Christ on this day!

And I hope all your Titus 2 godly woman's works are going well. We be content to do simple servant work and we know God sees it all and we know He should be the reason we do what we do. Our motives matter and if we do it unto Him and because of Him then that turns our labours into fruitful ones not in vain. He is more important than humans and yet humans get to reap the results of our labours unto Him. We don't want to get swept away in doing things solely for humans. We love Him first then love people. And it's all related because we love Him we do good to humans because He commanded that we do!

And His ways are always good but they aren't always or often what people want in their flesh. We do have to hurt people's feelings sometimes in order to obey God. And most people want to be told they are OK living however they want but we know there is only one narrow way to eternal life and it is real love to tell them of that way and that they must repent.

For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.

1 Peter 3:12

We constantly see the difference between how God relates to the righteous and to the evil. It is not the same like people would like to believe.

The way of the wicked is an abomination unto the Lord: but he loveth him that followeth after righteousness.

Proverbs 15:9

We know there are only two real sides in this battle. We want to be on the Lord's side and walking in righteousness and found worthy in Christ when He returns.

Cozy indoor winter's days...

Heat is such a blessing no matter the source. But fire is an interesting thing God created and we know it is mentioned a lot in the Bible and has a lot of uses and meanings.

My 3 year old niece brought me this painting today and told me it was for me and that it's a tree!

It's a beautiful tree isn't it:-) So sweet and precious are the little ones and I can be surprised how intelligent they can be so young. She is very kind and thoughtful and often comes up with her own kind things to do for others that no one suggested she does. Like I heard her setting out cups of water for everyone at the meal table when no one told her to and it's not something they necessarily all have at meals. And if someone is talking about doing something she'll often turn up with something needed to do it without anyone talking to her. Amazing creations God made in humans!

Well I must go but I hope my sisters are pressing on and enduring in this day. We only have right now to handle even though we do need to plan for the future sometimes but we don't really know what each day will bring and we can't worry too much about what may never be!

Hold fast to the Word sisters!

Today's Encouragement (2 July 2023)

Greetings sister saints!

(Thank you sisters for those this morning! Amen!)

I hope this finds you pressing forward in the Lord! We don't dwell in the past like many people do and we know it can cause all kinds of problems doing so. We just have today and if we are new creations in Christ then the old is gone and we can put that behind as best we can and look fully forward!

Here's some scriptures on 'looking' to edify and encourage you...

Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee.

Proverbs 4:25

(with pretty rose creations God made as well)

Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

Titus 2:13

And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.

Luke 9:62

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Hebrews 12:2

And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

Luke 21:28

Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

2 Peter 3:13

There's a lot of good looking to be done and not looking back or at sinful things. Praise God for the good things and the blessed hope to come which were looking for!

Pretty birds outside my window...

Peaceful creations He made! There's so many of those. Let us give Him the glory for them all and not the earth or nothing or aliens or something crazy like people do.

Thus saith God the Lord, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein:

Isaiah 42:5

Titus 2 pic that my sisters know what it is!

I'm sure you're all diligently doing your good works as hard working godly women! Good job sisters!

Well I must go and get some rest after another day. I hope your day is or has been a fruitful and joyous one of serving the Lord! Hold fast to Him sisters!

Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen.

Today's Encouragement (1 July 2023)

Hello holy sisters!

Here I am back again and wanting to encourage and edify you in this faith life. I hope you're striving on in the faith and in your roles as godly women with Titus 2 works and such!

She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.

Proverbs 31:27

Pretty sunny winter's morning here...

And pretty evening in the same spot with the tree silhouettes...

His creation has so much variety in it! Different colours and shapes and creatures and temperatures and such!

I love seeing the carpet of moss...

Very pretty and soft and soothing green.

Was thinking about this scripture...

And he looked up, and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury.

And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites.

And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all:

For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had.

Luke 21:1-4

God knows our hearts. And it reminds me of this one too...

He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.

Luke 16:10

We often talk about the first part but that last part is there for us to take to heart too. We don't want to be unjust in the smallest way.

Thank you sister for those pictures! Amen we can overcome and not faint!

And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

Luke 18:1

I was thinking again about the account of the rich man and Lazarus and how it's a point of no change after death and how many will have the greatest regrets in their lives.

And I was thinking about eternity...either separated from God in torment in darkness or with Him in light. And how there is such a great lack of urgency about this. These are so serious facts and we sisters can keep having zeal and growing in this all and not losing the great sense of urgency to hold fast to the truth and flee all sin which leads to death. Sin is taken so lightly when it should not be but we sisters keep holding holiness up and living it ourselves and holding all who claim His name to His standards. There is no room for lukewarmness or overlooking willful sin in our lives. Let us keep diligently striving and seeking God's kingdom and righteousness.

That's what I have today and Lord willing I will be back tomorrow. Strive on with great zeal and strength and fervour and steadfastness sisters!

Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen. Salute every saint in Christ Jesus. The brethren which are with me greet you.

Philippians 4:20-21
