Hello holy sisters!
Here I am back again and wanting to encourage and edify you in this faith life. I hope you're striving on in the faith and in your roles as godly women with Titus 2 works and such!
She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.
Proverbs 31:27
Pretty sunny winter's morning here...
And pretty evening in the same spot with the tree silhouettes...
His creation has so much variety in it! Different colours and shapes and creatures and temperatures and such!I love seeing the carpet of moss...
Very pretty and soft and soothing green. Was thinking about this scripture...
And he looked up, and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury.
And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites.
And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all:
For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had.
Luke 21:1-4
God knows our hearts. And it reminds me of this one too...
He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.
Luke 16:10
We often talk about the first part but that last part is there for us to take to heart too. We don't want to be unjust in the smallest way.
Thank you sister for those pictures! Amen we can overcome and not faint!
And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
Luke 18:1
I was thinking again about the account of the rich man and Lazarus and how it's a point of no change after death and how many will have the greatest regrets in their lives.
And I was thinking about eternity...either separated from God in torment in darkness or with Him in light. And how there is such a great lack of urgency about this. These are so serious facts and we sisters can keep having zeal and growing in this all and not losing the great sense of urgency to hold fast to the truth and flee all sin which leads to death. Sin is taken so lightly when it should not be but we sisters keep holding holiness up and living it ourselves and holding all who claim His name to His standards. There is no room for lukewarmness or overlooking willful sin in our lives. Let us keep diligently striving and seeking God's kingdom and righteousness.
That's what I have today and Lord willing I will be back tomorrow. Strive on with great zeal and strength and fervour and steadfastness sisters!
Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen. Salute every saint in Christ Jesus. The brethren which are with me greet you.
Philippians 4:20-21
