Freedom in Christ!

Hello sisters!

Hope this post finds you joyous and strong, thriving in the faith!

Like our brother Paul says it well here...

Therefore, brethren, we were comforted over you in all our affliction and distress by your faith: For now we live, if ye stand fast in the Lord. For what thanks can we render to God again for you, for all the joy wherewith we joy for your sakes before our God;

1 Thessalonians 3:7-9

What a blessing to know and hear of the brethren striving on in the faith! And he explained why here...

For this cause, when I could no longer forbear, I sent to know your faith, lest by some means the tempter have tempted you, and our labour be in vain.

1 Thessalonians 3:5

We know the deception abounds and the subtle ways of our enemy. And as it says in Hebrews about exhorting one another daily because of the deceitfulness of sin and the hardening it can bring. So I know the feeling of joy knowing the brethren are pressing on in the faith and through trials. Nothing else seems to matter...well a lot of things that can seem bigger at other times, when a close sister that I know about is struggling through some big trials. Just knowing they are pressing through in the faith is a great joy! And I'm here to be with my sisters through trials too.

In this post (which has been in the making for awhile), I wanted to share some of the things we have been set free from in Christ by His gospel. When we are born of His spirit and given a new heart, we are new creatures aren't we! We no longer desire the old life and sinful ways anymore. We used to be servants of sin didn't we. Praise God no longer!

Although we have so many freedoms we have not been promised anywhere that it's going to be easy in this life...no, quite the opposite. We have been told of persecutions, sufferings, and trials even unto death and definately battles with many enemies including our flesh. So yes as we serve Christ we do submit to Him and His ways and those relevant to us as godly women...but it is a joy to do so even if it makes life harder in some ways! It all is absolutely nothing compared to the glory and hope to come. We do well to remember that sisters. It is a very small price to pay for all He has done for us and offers us...far above anything we ever will deserve. But we do strive to walk worthy with all humility for what He has done. Glory to Him!

I read you a few scriptures to go along with this post.

Praise God for freedom in Christ from the bondage of sin! We know God has forgiven our sins of our past. Glory to Him! We don't need to fear that those we have repented of our life before Christ and being born by His Spirit are washed away! And now we strive to please Him and repent where we fail.

We know there are many who abuse the liberty we have in Christ. What a sad and wicked thing they do saying we can sin on in Him.

For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error. While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.

2 Peter 2:18-19

But let's not listen to their deceptions sisters.

I will share an assortment of various points of some of the areas of freedom that come in this life we have in Christ. They are in no real order but just to encourage us to rejoice in the blessings we have and not to take it lightly.

I know the world thinks we are the ones in bondage but they don't know that they are really in bondage to a wicked master in satan and their flesh and sin. We are set free from those and become servants to Christ who is life and hope and joy and peace...and the way and truth!

So moving on to some points of freedom in Christ...

*Freedom from the old law...

Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

Galatians 5:1

*Freedom in being godly women in our role and not in positions of authority. There are great responsibilites on the godly men to lead and teach. In Christ we sisters obey Him and submit to the order God created us to have. What a blessing to know what that was from the beginning of creation too and then have it stated in the New Testament. Some of you sisters may have come from a life of being in great authority over men. Well we all know about the depths of feminism and that it's everywhere...in men and women. But in Christ we learn our roles and are thankful and content in them. Yes even if it does at times make life harder we obey God because we love and serve Him and not our flesh. And it is a blessed thing when willingly followed and submitted to. God's ways are good!

*Freedom from stress of unbiblical holidays (ie Christmas, Easter, birthdays, holidays and such like). I know some of you sister often share the freedom you have from not having to put on these events, with cooking and gift giving and feeling like you 'have to' do all these things...either because you always did or because it was expected or 'the done thing'. No longer are those reasons to do something because we bring our life in line to God's Word, testing all things. We leave behind that which is not of God's pure and holy truthful ways.

This also leads to this freedom...

*Freedom to love and give whenever the Spirit leads us and not set on a specific day of the year (birthday, Christmass, fathers/mothers day, valentines day etc). In the body of Christ there is to be a lot of care and love shown always. And we can bless those around us especially where there are real needs.

*Free to have to give to others because of all God has given us freely!

And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

Matthew 10:7-8

Sure, the most we have has been freely given to us in Christ! How can we not freely give encouragement and truth and love and the gospel to others. It is so sad to see that people make God and His truth into a business for the love of money. What priceless treasures we have and so let us freely give. Reminds me of the Titus 2 woman who is to be teaching the younger women. What if she didn't do that unless she was paid to do it! We in Christ, are richly blessed above all on the face of the earth and we love to freely give!

*Freedom from politics and trying to change things we can't. God is in control. We are set on things above and the next life. We don't need to worry about such things!

*Freedom from fear (something to work on if it arises). God commands we only fear Him. So all other fear is because of our lack of faith and trust in God...because He works all things for good for those who love Him. So we can be free from fear and repent of it if it arises.

And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.

Luke 12:4-5

*Freedom from empty vain time wasting fleshly lusts.

Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

Ephesians 2:3

*One specific one would be freedom from music, which is used for mood altering and is emotional and fleshly. And so many use it like a drug for that reason. We are not to be in bondage to anything. It has a way of invading our mind and pushes out thoughts of God. It is another of satan's distractions. I find music one of the most annoying things ever and of course being in the world we're going to have to endure it from those of the world but it's just our reasonable service to endure these things for the Lord. One day we won't have to worry about the world and all it does.

*Freedom from spending money on unbiblical things (ie spiritual books and most all books, events, clothing, jewelry, entertainment, sports, holidays and other things to fulfill fleshly lusts.). Now we can be wise and use what God gives us for necessary uses and good and pure things and having it to use in the work of the Lord and have to give to those in true need.

*Free from worrying about little things that the world calls important and what the world thinks of us. I'm sure you can think of some examples in that...maybe like a tiny scratch on the paint on the car or a stain on our clothes and such things.

*In the body of Christ, we have freedom to be who we are (apart from sin of course) and not stress about hurting feelings, offending the other and if we do their is flesh killing and preferring one another, forgiveness, kindness with tender hearts.

And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

Ephesians 4:32

*Freedom from thinking we have to be perfect for God to use us. God uses the weak things sisters. In weak I do not mean we are full of sin and helpless but just imperfect in so many ways compared to God. We are all humans and have weaknesses and can make mistakes. We are not perfect at anything really. We may make mistakes in our speech, in our writings, in our work...but we do the best we can and rejoice that the Lord allows us to do what we do and can use us. I'm encouraged by this fact about brother Paul who God used mightily...

And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.

For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.

And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.

And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:

That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

1 Corinthians 2:1-5

*Freedom in being united having the same mind because then we can all understand each other. This is a freeing thing because there is a great depth of understanding of one another.

Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.

Philippians 2:2

*Freedom from being servants of men...

Let every man abide in the same calling wherein he was called.

Art thou called being a servant? care not for it: but if thou mayest be made free, use it rather.

For he that is called in the Lord, being a servant, is the Lord's freeman: likewise also he that is called, being free, is Christ's servant.

Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men.

1 Corinthians 7:20-23

Even though some of us may be 'under' other authorities like in a job or as servants, or wives even, ultimately we serve God first and then we can serve others. We do all things first to please God.

And a sister shared these extra points too of areas of freedom in Christ and I add a few scriptures and comments. (Thank you sister:-)

*Being slaves to the flesh.

Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

Romans 8:12-13

We fight against it don't we sisters. It's not our master.

*Fear of death and what lies beyond.

And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

Hebrews 2:15

*Trusting in ourselves

But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead:

2 Corinthians 1:9

*Trying to be a man pleaser.

And instead we know or have to remind ourselves that we live to please God! Although we cannot see Him we press on by faith knowing He rewards those who diligently seek Him!

*Trying to succeed.

This goes along with trying rather to please God and not man or not trying to be 'someone' with a big name in the flesh. But instead we know God uses the 'weak' and lowly for His purposes. He cares not about the things that man highly esteems.

And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.

Luke 16:15

*Expectations from the world (being something you're not).

In Christ we are free from trying to compete with everyone else in the world for a whole range of things. We don't care what they think of us now but are willing to endure the afflictions of Christ.

Well let us sisters rejoice in all the many blessings of the freedom we have in Christ! I'm sure there are many more and so that is only a few that I have mentioned. How blessed we are! We are free from the entanglements of the world and serving sin and the flesh. We're free to serve Christ!! And yes sometimes we have to fight through because we still live in this world and in our flesh, our human body, but we are not powerless but have the Spirit to give us the victory over sin!

Are all of you readers free in Christ? If not you can be! It is available to all who will come and lay down their life to follow Christ! You can find the gospel to eternal life through Christ explained better here. He is the only way! And we must all come His way and obey Him or be lost for all eternity. I don't want that for any of you and neither does God who is not willing that any should perish but all should come to repentance. He is merciful and long suffering today...but one day He will judge all men according to their works by His righteousness. He is God and very holy. Let us be diligent to be found of Him in peace.

Hope this all encouraged you my sisters and let us rejoice in Christ, for all we have comes from Him!

Love in Him,

Sharing Bits and Pieces

Good day sister saints!

How are you doing in the Lord? I hope you're strong in Him against all that is against us.

For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:

1 Peter 2:15

I saw that this morning and it's a powerful concept behind it. Let us go about our good works unto the Lord sisters, being blameless and let the Lord deal with others. Reminds me of the verses about heaping coals too.

If thine enemy be hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he be thirsty, give him water to drink: For thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head, and the Lord shall reward thee.

Proverbs 25:21-22

Share my morning cup of tea sisters...

Let's remember all the blessings we have behind all these things and give God thanks.

Used some more peaches in a chia pudding...

God provides us with so many things!

And I share some scriptures from sisters today...

Let us overcome sisters...day by day! What promises await us if we do!

Interesting flowers with a bee...

More creations going about their business as we strive to do as obedient godly women and not rebellious ones.

Here's a reminder of what we want to spend our thoughts on...

Saw this pattern of sunlight coming in my window and it made me think of all the saints scattered around the world shining their lights.

We know compared to the world's population there are very few...but they have a big light from the Lord to shine in a very dark world!

Do all things without murmurings and disputings: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;
Philippians 2:14-15

There was a bit of light rain today so I loved looking at the water droplets on the flowers and leaves and everything.

So many things to marvel at and give God glory for in His creation.

Thank you sister for this scripture picture...

No we don't want to obey sin but God!

Well I think that's it for what I have today. I know it was a bit of this and that but sometimes that's how our lives are. And we do what we can!

Keep pressing on in the faith sisters! Rejoice in the Lord and rest in His peace, trusting in Him!

The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.

Psalm 28:7

Love to you all,

Fruit and Your Fruit

Greetings godly sisters!

How does this day find you in the faith? Hopefully you are pressing on and through all things that come whether it's in our physical life in our health or in our spiritual life of trials and what comes because of our faith. As we sisters often remind each other...our reward is in the next life! All we go through here is nothing compared to the glory to come with the Father!

For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

Romans 8:18

The world may be receiving their reward now in fulfilling all manner of pleasures and lusts...but we know it shall not be well with them unless they repent.

Here's some fruit blessings of peaches and apricots we got...

Indeed the trees are doing what they were created to and bringing forth an abundance of fruit!

And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

Genesis 1:11

Which means I have some work to do...

Cooked some to freeze...

And made some into a crumble for dessert...

And the chickens get the scraps...

And the chicks too...

God is good to provide many different foods for mankind. We give Him the glory and thanks for them.

We can't talk about fruit without bringing up about the fruit we are to have as saints of God.

What does your tree look like, your life? Is it full of good fruit? I hope so because that shows our faith in Christ and our new life in the Spirit!

But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Matthew 13:8-9

That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;

Colossians 1:10-11

And we also know we women are to be adorning with good works rather than outward physical adornment in our dress etc too.

Here's a picture of fruit that I added some names of the fruits we are to be producing in our lives.

We know it is a work of the Spirit within us to produce these...as without Him we do not have the power to. Let's make sure we keep abiding in our Saviour and are branches bearing much fruit!

I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
John 15:5

Well I hope you were edified sisters and you keep going about your lives producing good fruits so the Father is glorified!

Perhaps in the physical, some of you have some surplus blessings to work with storing them up and being good stewards of what you have. I'm sure all of us women have various kinds of work to do working with our hands and feeding others in our lives. What a good blessing we have to do so!

You have a joyous day sister saints and the Lord give you strength!

Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.

Psalm 27:14

Love in Christ,

Today's Edification

Hello my sisters!

Peace and love to you in the Lord! What a blessing to be sharing truth and encouragement for my sisters here.

We sisters who communicate daily in the things of God and general life as godly women find that we do well with constant reminders even if we may often repeat ourselves. Because there is so much to keep in mind and we can forget or lose focus at times it is a blessing to have frequent reminders. We can learn from others also and what they are going through and share and it's such a blessing to have those who truly love the Lord and do not compromise for anything.

I was thinking that the world has friends whether they are close or not and they usually are centered around a common interest or hobby etc. But for my friends...my sisters...it is Christ we are centered on. He is our very life, our hope, our peace, our joy! He has made us new creations! And we have awesome promises...

But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,

Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

Ephesians 2:4-6

What a blessing that is sisters...being raised up to heavenly places!

And while the world may call people friends and not really even know or care what the other believes (such as Facebook 'friends' etc), we sisters get down to the very heart of the matter and what we believe and what makes us do everything. We do know we are to be of one mind in the body and how do we know if we don't talk about everything that really matters and be centered on God's Word and seeking His truth alone. Also how can we know who to trust if we don't know a person and can see and test their fruit? We know the dangers of leaven and the corrupting influence of bad associations. And we know it's best to go alone if there is no one truly following the Lord. But I'm so blessed with a few sisters who truly are my trusted and close friends. All good gifts come from the Lord...He gives and He takes...blessed be His name! Thank you sisters for loving the Lord with me! He is worthy! We are thankful!

-------------------------

Today I bagged up the onions that had been drying...

Great blessings they are!

And I pulled another batch to dry...

Praise God for all He provides!

And here's some more vegetable blessings coming along in the garden...

Here's some pretty birds I saw when I was feeding the calves...

More beautiful creations God made!

And thank you sister for these scripture pictures...

Amen we do not want to be those who look to argue and complain having strife and envy causing problems. We kill our flesh instead. We may have all seen or known people that are not peacemakers...but God has called us to peace. Obviously as much as is possible but we are also told we will suffer persecution...which obviously means we are not at peace with those persecuting us. We know the world hates our God and the truth we stand for.

But we always strive for this...

If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
Romans 12:18

Aren't you glad our Lord has come? So let us follow after Him on the narrow road.

Well you have a fruitful day sister saints, redeeming the time for the Lord glorifying Him!

Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time. Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.

Colossians 4:5-6

Washed

Greetings in Christ to my beloved sisters!

My sisters are those who love the Lord and do the Father's will. They have repented of their sins and the false ways they were in. They obey because God has made them new creations in Him and they hate sin and every false way! And let us all keep striving on together in the faith sisters! We are God's family! He is holy...so we are to be too!

I did some cleaning today, and as we sisters may often think about when we do such things, was thinking how we have been washed clean and made new creations!

I'm sure all of you godly women clean many things throughout your Titus 2 days whether it is dishes or clothes or any other number of things. What a blessing water itself is of course!

💧💧💧💧💧

But how much more awesome is the spiritual washing that we can get from the Lord! So here I share just a few verses to edify and encourage us with great thankfulness. We know we can come to God through Christ for cleansing when we repent.

And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem:

When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning.

Isaiah 4:3-4

I was thinking about that one while I was washing away dirt. How awesome! What a holy God we serve and He can make us clean! We know of all the filth of sin and lies we once were in before we followed after Christ and were born by His Spirit. And the more we grow along this path the more we see of the holiness fo God. Praise Him for His Word and Spirit that teaches us good and evil.

(And I share some various older pictures of water scenes too. Glory to the Creator!)

And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

1 Corinthians 6:11

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

1 John 1:7-9

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

Hebrews 10:22

And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.

Revelation 7:14-15

What a glorious God we have! Only He could do this...

Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

Isaiah 1:18

I'm sure you sisters are so thankful for what the Lord has done in your life! I am!

Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom. Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

Psalm 51:6-7

Praise God! He is worthy! And I know you sisters are joyous to be clean too! We rejoice together in the Lord for all He has done!

And we are also thankful to be godly Titus 2 women. And that can involve a lot of washing things with water. It is such an amazing creation and essential to life. Glory to God the creator for all He has done!

I think I shall go now sisters. It is such a blessing to be able to edify each other daily either by blogs or by personal messages. God is good to give us these gifts. We can learn from one another and remind each other of many different things in this life in Christ. It's such a blessing!

Remember sisters that if God is not first in someone's life and they don't have love for Him by keeping His commands...then they are none of His. We know it is few who find the narrow road but let us keep striving on no matter if we are alone or not. We hope others repent as God can cleanse them too!

I hope your Titus 2 works go well today and everything else good, pure, and true that you have to do. Keep doing your good works as unto the Lord sister saints!

In Christ's love,

Sister Michaela

Precious Things

Hello sister saints!

Hope this post finds you all well and strong in the Lord and His holy ways.

Today I wanted to share some verses on precious things. I may have in the past but it's one to ponder how very valuable treasures we have in God and His Son. It's encouraging!

How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.

Psalm 139:17-18

Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.

Psalm 116:15

Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.

For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold.

She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her.

Proverbs 3:13-15

And we saints know the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. That last verse also reminds me of the Proverbs 31 virtuous woman who's price is far above rubies. Those bought with a price, the holy women of God who follow His ways, are indeed very precious! I am blessed to know just a few!

That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:

1 Peter 1:7-8

Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

1 Peter 1:18-19

Indeed so many precious things we have in the Lord!

And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;

Revelation 21:10-11

I love that...the light being like a precious stone.

Well sisters let us remember what precious things we have in Christ. We don't want to take it forgranted or trample what truth and light we have been given.

I'm thankful for Christ our high priest...

Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.

Hebrews 2:17-18

-------------

Here's some cute little chicks that hatched...

Amazing creations doing what they were created to do.

What a great Redeemer we have in Christ! Let us follow and obey Him unto eternal life! (Thank you sister for the picture!)

Well sister saints I think that's it for today. Indeed we have great riches in the Lord. We want to be faithful in what we have been given. You keep fighting the good fight sisters. Until next time, tomorrow Lord willing...

Love in Christ,

Edification for January 1st

Greetings sisters!

How are you?

We sisters surely need great wisdom to navigate this life in Christ through a faithless world. It's not supposed to be an easy life at all is it. Sure it's one of the greatest joys and the hope to come is great but you sure have to obey God's commands over your own ways and flesh which is not always easy. But our Saviour is worthy! And we sisters love Him! He has done so much to set us free! We must do the hard things for Him! If we endure we shall be with Him for all eternity. Today sisters, let's strive on looking unto Jesus...and tomorrow, one day at a time. One day we shall be with Him and all His faithful saints!

Here's a psalm to encourage you.

But I trusted in thee, O Lord: I said, Thou art my God.

My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me.

Make thy face to shine upon thy servant: save me for thy mercies' sake.

Let me not be ashamed, O Lord; for I have called upon thee: let the wicked be ashamed, and let them be silent in the grave.

Let the lying lips be put to silence; which speak grievous things proudly and contemptuously against the righteous.

Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men!

Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence from the pride of man: thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.

Blessed be the Lord: for he hath shewed me his marvellous kindness in a strong city.

For I said in my haste, I am cut off from before thine eyes: nevertheless thou heardest the voice of my supplications when I cried unto thee.

O love the Lord, all ye his saints: for the Lord preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer.

Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord.

Psalm 31:14-24

I love that! How rich with truth and encouragement.

I love seeing all the good produce the Lord provides mankind...

He is good to the righteous and the wicked in giving them all life and food and so many blessings. How merciful He is to allow everyone a time to repent.

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
2 Peter 3:9

Some flowers in the shop for my sisters who love the Lord...

I greatly appreciate my godly sisters who love the Lord. There's many who say they love the Lord but they don't obey Him which then means they don't love Him because to love Him is to obey Him!

By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.

For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

1 John 5:2-4

Isn't this creation scenery awesome...

I got to see that when I was helping look after the little ones. Thank you sister for adding the scripture:-)

And on this one which was all I could see of the chicks that just hatched...

Praise God we can rest and trust in Him.

And thank you for these too sister! They are lovely gifts that I can share here.

And we rejoice in the new life we have in Christ! And that is through His gospel. Glory to God for such a great gift! And because of it we strive hard after Him because we love Him!

Amen...and we know our reward is to come even though sinners may be getting theirs now. It won't be well with them in the end lest they repent. We once were sinners...but praise God now we are called to be saints!

OK sisters well that's what I have for today. I hope you were edified and I know for my sisters who love the Lord it's just encouraging knowing another saint is striving on one more day in the truth of God too. Hold fast to the truth of the faith once delivered!

Love in Christ,

Sister Michaela
