Today's Edification (24 October 2026)

Hello again sisters!

I get to come back one more day and share in the Lord! Time is moving by swiftly as the days slip by one after the other. It's wise to seriously ponder and consider life and eternity and the truth and such things.

I'm glad the Lord is our Rock!

Because I will publish the name of the LORD: ascribe ye greatness unto our God. He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.
Deuteronomy 32:3-4

There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God.
1 Samuel 2:2

I will love thee, O LORD, my strength. The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.
Psalm 18:1-3

Unto thee will I cry, O LORD my rock; be not silent to me: lest, if thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit. Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto thee, when I lift up my hands toward thy holy oracle.
Psalm 28:1-2

Be thou my strong habitation, whereunto I may continually resort: thou hast given commandment to save me; for thou art my rock and my fortress.
Psalm 71:3
He is our strength and hope! The lost world does not have this. We are blessed to know the one and only true and living God! How hopeless and dark and full of despair must life be without Christ. Our adversary is a liar and a murderer and most are on his side.

I heard this scripture the other day and it's true how people hide behind that which is false and trust in them.

Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:
Isaiah 28:15

We need to be careful ourselves not to be deceived. We have been warned.

Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
Ephesians 5:6

Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
1 John 3:7

Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.
1 Corinthians 3:18

Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.
1 Corinthians 15:33

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
Galatians 6:7

And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you: For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
Mark 13:5-6

We need to be extra careful and more vigilant in these perilous times which God says will only get worse not better.

But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
2 Timothy 3:13

It's quite serious to know it is possible to be very deceived. Let us stay close to the pure Word and keep ourselves from this world and the massive false deception in that which is called Christianity. We just need to live a simple and pure life ourselves and act in the ways God teaches us towards others. God must always be first, not ourselves or people.

Hold fast to the truth sisters and keep pressing on in His strength!

Love, mercy, and peace to you in Jesus our Saviour.
