Greetings sisters!
To God be the glory on another day He granted to us in His grace and mercy! May we seek to do that which is fitting for our faith in Him. It makes me think about taking His name in vain too, because we claim to be His children we had better be good examples of His qualities and character.
Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.1 Timothy 4:12
The way of truth can indeed be evil spoken of when people who say they are believers live contrary to His ways. We need to keep examining our behaviours and following His ways. We want to bring forth fruits that are fitting and worthy of Him.
I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,Ephesians 4:1
But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance.Acts 26:20
That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;Colossians 1:10
Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance:
Matthew 3:8
May we walk in His ways which means we need to know them and keep refreshing in His Word. We have this world and its way around us. But His Word is pure, and light, and the truth. And His Spirit guides and convicts us too so we are blessed with help! Keep fighting the good fight of faith, sisters!
