Greetings sisters!
I hope you're pressing on strong in the faith of Jesus! The days come and go steadily, and some have more challenges in than others, but such is life on this earth. No matter what, God is good! And in that we have hope and joy! For now we are absent from Him, for we walk by faith not sight, but one day if we endure we shall see Him as He is! Only God could make a way for us to be able to be in His presence after we have sinned against Him. He is a Redeemer!
O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary. Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.
Psalm 63:1-3
Be thou my strong habitation, whereunto I may continually resort: thou hast given commandment to save me; for thou art my rock and my fortress....I will go in the strength of the Lord GOD: I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only.
Psalm 71:3,16
That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
Ephesians 2:12-14
Thank God for that! I'm thankful for all that Jesus accomplished for us. He obeyed His Father and pressed through the hardest agonies when a way for an escape was within easy reach for Him. What a perfect example He is indeed!
And he was withdrawn from them about a stone's cast, and kneeled down, and prayed, Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done. And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.
Luke 22:41-43
Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared; Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;
Hebrews 5:7-9
The glory be unto His name alone!
Hold fast till He comes, sisters! We do not know how many days we get on this earth, so may we be ready and watching at all times. And occupying in good works! Don't grow weary in them, sisters! We will reap in due time if we don't faint!
Love in Christ.
